always saw the medial part of the drones’ bodies as like some sort of silicone (HELLP I put silicon)so they’re able to squash and bend around easier .though it’s a stupid kind of silly cause I imagined them picking up crates n stuff for humans but falling over due to heavy weight

WELP have a naked robot, but I wanted to show off the segmentation style and details? Literally been staring at how those super posable art figures work to get this together. I'm so proud of those hands (not the one I traced lmao but I got fuckin lazy, w/e) but man... The detail on this style is SUPER FUN but also I'm gonna beat myself for it. This version's for Out Date, an in development AU that's loosely based around the concept of buying 'helpers' that Detroit: Become Human brought up, but with the twist of returned/defective/problem bots will get sent back to the equivalent of a 'dog shelter' to be fixed/corrected and resold at discount. Sun and Moon (same body) have been returned a number of times before YN, who works the reception area, barters with their boss to let them buy them cause if they get returned again, they're gonna get scrapped. YN barely gets them home before they start seeing the red flags on why they keep getting returned, but YN also doesn't care THAT much about their own safety, or self care, or pretty much anything at this point aside from making sure they can still afford their rent while they just kinda exist. At least taking in this problem bot keeps them from getting 'killed', and gives them the sense of doing something good with their life, for now.

Not tryna be weird, I'm curious if they have the same chest pattern thing, or the same arm coloring, and what their legs look like because that isn't seen in game

No worries, not weird at all!

But it is strange to draw them without their attire X3 The sweaters make Sun look so big but he scrawny lol

Their bodies are more human-proportionate and not as lanky as they used to be. It took them a while to get used to the feeling of having actual feet, cuz I think the jester slippers they had couldn't be taken off X3c

They did keep their old colors, along with some design features. The buttons open their chest cavities. Sun liked the red of his buttons and kept it.

And of course they've got plenty of strength with these new bodies.

No one has ever seen them this way except for each other and the people who designed the bodies. They had clothes waiting for them once all systems were checked and approved.
