I apologize to my handful of followers for all the mecha hornyposting lately, it will continue, but I'll have some more art soon as well.

Gathering reference for some mechposting art, omg I love manifolds and cables and circuits, it all looks so visceral and fleshy I can't get enough. It just gets more and more intricate all the way down to the microscopic circuits printed on silicon microchips.

I love watching component level board repair, data recovery using a spider board looks straight up magical, I'm there for any sort of teardown video even and especially if I don't understand anything about what's being said.

Dead gods and machine gods are honestly the coolest noun phrases ever. Like, for me at least i think its probably because im so used to judeo christian stuff that a god being capable of being a corpse or machine is just. Crazy.

Like i dont even quite get what a true machine god would even be like.

(we're going to do this about the dca because we've basically been hyperfixating on them for 4 years now ummm)

Okay, was drawn towards the dca because 1) I absolutely love the concept of two separate people sharing a body and mind, and the conflicts that ensue as a result of it. I am very good at overanalyzing, so anything that carries even a little bit of symbolism or depth is enough to get me hooked. As for what's interesting, I think it's a combination of the way they're portrayed in fandom and the theories that people have about them, as well as how malleable they are - in terms of both character and personality. I mean, their backstory has a viewer draw a number of possible conclusions, and the way they carry themselves (even though they were on screen for a relatively short time) in relation to their situation and themselves is absolutely fascinating.

All in all, the dca is just really neat and fun to dissect from a literary perspective :D
