Interesting Crossover - Batman X My hero academia
In MHA, people said quirkless people can not be a hero. And heroes must have the license to perform heroic actions.
Batman is a hero without superpowers (Except he's rich 🤑) yet he is one of the most dangerous people in JL and a vigilante.
Not long time ago I read in fanfiction of Batman in MHA and it stuck in my head since then. The timeline is when Allmight is still young and Batman fights All for One with Nana.
He may have nothing but Batman is Batman. He won't stop fighting crime although he's in a different place and society ain't allow him to fight. The new vigilantes terrorize criminals and plant fear into their minds, The Dark Knight, The Batman.
Thanks for this fanfic. I enjoyed reading it and love to share it with you guys. What I like about this fic is...
"What if people didn't know Batman is quirkless."
Because, you know, a secret is a valuable asset. Imagine people theorizing what his quirk would be. Bat quirk, teleportation(that famous Batman vanishing trick haha), or even fear quirk. All for One doesn't imagine him fighting with a quirkless person at all.
What I want to add to the idea is...
I think it would be fun to see him transported from the DC universe in the timeline of Izuku's era.
And 'what if Batman took Izuku in and trained him to be his new Robin in this world'
Izuku who was told by many people quirkless can not be a hero. Until he met the Batman.
The Bat is an urban legend that happened to appear two years before the main timeline. People who see him, criminals said they were defeated by a ghost, a demon, a shadow that looked like a bat. At first, the police thought it was some sort of nonsense. But one day, the man in black clade armor looks like the bat appears and manages to take down a big villain. Now witnesses and records show to the world this bat is real and is a vigilante. They tried to track him down but before they could blink, he vanished in the thin air.
Izuku sees on the news that new vigilantes are helping defeat many villains and criminals. At first, he has fun analyzing and theorizing the vigilante's quirk. But somehow, he comes across the vigilante.
Batman shows Izuku a ton of ways to defeat people without superpowers.
Batman is the dad with the adopting kid issue and Izuku didn't have a dad in his life. PERFECT COMBINATION. Father and son relationship supremacy! Bruce gets blinded by a ray of sunshine 3 times a day. Remind him of Dick+Tim
And many more that would be interesting for Batman's interest in the MHA world. Such as>>>
Superhuman society, norm, and prejudice. (he would kick people's asses for sure)
Hero License and hero being paid (He still doesn't give a shit about the license. He is BATMAN.)
Heroes thought about Batman (Others might be skeptical of his method. Eraserhead might like him, I guess. And Stian, hmm, he could possibly see Batman as a real hero.)
Batman beats both villains and heroes. 😆
Batman smacks some parental sense in Endeavor
The New Wayne enterprise he established in this world supports the Support Department, I-Island, and many more (Medicine, security, engineering, etc.) for helping produce his gears and armor in secret and also improve many things he can do for people.
Batman might come up with the idea of creating a superhero team like JL. Because I think having only All might as a symbol of peace is a heavy burden and unstable. So having a team, with pillars from many places and backgrounds would be better for supporting society.
Batman showed off his detective skills and outsmarted everyone.
P.S. Let me know what you guys think. ^ V ^ b

I am thinking of a DC/Batfam x BNHA/MHA crossover.
Somehow a portal to an alternate universe opens up in the sewer near Izuku's home. (The why and how are not important.) He finds it because he was running away from his bullies, and looking for a place to hide.
Izuku crawls out into Gotham City's sewer and finds a whole other world where most people don't have quirks and many heroes have no special powers at all. Naturally he begins spending all his free time here. Because of the time difference, after school in Japan is basically the middle of the night in Gotham.
He breaks out new notebooks and fills them with information on the heroes of this world. In particular he pays special attention to the heroes without powers hoping to take inspiration from them so he can emulate them back in his world.
Naturally the whole bat team, which are nearly all quirkless, are favorites of his, and he starts following them around. He studies their methods, takes notes and makes plans.
They notice of course, because Izuku is really not that stealthy, but he just kind of reminds them of Tim when he was younger, and Izuku hasn't actually done anything dangerous or gotten too close yet, so they leave him be for the most part.
At least till one day Tim asks Izuku what he is always writing in his notebook.
Izuku says he is taking notes because he wants to be a hero someday, and unlike people back home, Red Robin doesn't laugh and say that is impossible.
Tim does ask to read the notebook though, figuring it would be childish doodles or costume ideas. Instead he finds a detailed layout of every major hero, including their strengths, weaknesses, ways they could improves and plans on how to take them down in battle. Tim realizes that this kid is not just some fan, but is legitimately, dangerously, smart.
Tim asks to borrow the notebook to show Batman with the promise to return it tomorrow. Izuku agrees because he is nerding out at the idea of Batman seeing his work. As he leaves to go back home, Tim quietly follows, only to realize the kid seemingly lives in the sewer.
So yeah, Izuku is a genius who appears homeless and wants to be a hero, basically top tier adoption bait for Bruce.

Of course many people don't use the tag "xy is Robin", especially for Damian, Jason, Tim and Dick but I still find it very interesting that Damian is leading.
I assume no guarantee or liability for the completeness, correctness and accuracy of this chart despite my best efforts.
Includes fanfictions in all languages available on Ao3, NOT English only.
More charts will follow. :)
Want to have a chart for different pairings, headcanons etc. in your favourite fandom? Send me an ask!

watched the epic bakudeku battle where katsuki learns about one for all but there were people in the room with me so now I'm rewatching it the next day, by myself, where no other noise or movement can cause a distraction and I can give it my full attention and fucking sob my goddamn eyes out without judgment from my peers
yes, I still cried the first time with people in the room, but not as hard as I wanted to

Young, neglected characters aren't always incompetent at taking care of themselves
I know it's not what some of you want to hear, but- despite the perfect savior concept of getting them into a batter family- that doesn't mean that
A. They even WANT to be 'saved' and
B. That they aren't doing a decent job at taking care of themselves
The thing about having independence at a young age, is that you learn pretty quickly at least the basics or you fail
If you make it too obvious while going to school (esp elementary but also middle), you will be caught
If you don't have a supply of food or the ability to make food, you will be caught (either by police or any adult) or very sick and THEN die or caught
If you change attitudes and routines completely and suddenly, you will be noticed and possibly caught
NEGLECTED KIDS WHO LAST MORE THAN A FEW DAYS KNOW THIS (even if subconsciously)
"Saving the poor baby" is good for children who are just recently out on their own (think a couple weeks, maybe a couple months if you stretch it)
But a couple years??? I'm sure a few children would like someone to take care of them but most of them (while also maybe yearning for the same) would rather not and I'll tell you three big reasons why:
Nobody noticed that they needed help when they truly needed it, regardless of the fact that they hid it with all their power, ergo others are not to be trusted because they do not care.
And/or
It has been like for as long as they remember and change that drastic is hard for any adult let alone a child to imagine.
And/or
They are perfectly capable of keeping themselves alive and do not need outside help (this can be a statement of truth, misleasing pride, or fear of change/other people)
"Wanting to save them" may result in anger at the idea that they are incompetent, especially if the child has been taking care of themselves for so long. Cause regardless of age, children have always been resilient and adaptable and capable.
Not every child will be saved from a bad situation and they know that. Children aren't stupid, and they aren't stupid to assume they can take care of themselves when so many have had to in the past and will have to in the future.
An Alternative:
Stop the narrative of "saving them" from such a terrible way of life (the only life they've known or have known for a long while).
START doing more of those skittish, feral, alley cat things where you either gain the characters trust and learn to be a family with TIME or you just like straight up steal the baby and live with the fact that your going to have a lot of screaming and scratching and broken belongings for a few weeks until the baby learns to feel sort of safe or makes an escape lol
