If you're one of those people who are "fans" of Kevin Khatchadourian, Barry Allen(edit: as played by Ezra), Credence Barebone, Robert, Patrick, Leon Dupuis, Gonzo or any of the other roles Ezra has played and say "Oh I don't support Ezra I just like the characters" Literally FUCK OFF. You're not a fan, You never were a fan and you never will be a fan, Non of those characters would have been brought to life without Ezra's pure talent, Lovely personality and gorgeous face. There are more than enough resources proving their innocence, If you still choose to stay ignorant you are NOT welcome on this blog or really in any fan content or fan spaces surrounding Ezra's roles. In fact, You don't even deserve to rest your eyes on the PERFECTION that is Ezra and their works and you should go be a fake fan of some other characters who's actors you support.
To any REAL fans, Thank you for reading my short rant and enjoy some pics of Ezra being the happy little cutie patootie that they are

AFTERSCHOOL- 2008 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Robert (Mad Goose Wizard) is an outsider at a fancy prep school in New York. He becomes obsessed with online videos ranging from funny cat videos to graphic executions and his reality becomes distorted by this. He accidentally catches two twin sisters overdosing on rat poisoned coke at school. In the aftermath of their death he asked to make a memorial video...
Bleak and deeply unsettling. Very well crafted. Love the editing. Debut film role of Ezra Miller. Jeremy Allen White costars. Fantastic twist at the end of the film i didnt see coming at all.

Your confussion about Callisto did got me curious, who was your gay awakening character?
Could it be Julia Roberts based on your fics or Buffy based on your age (you are a 00’s teen right?) but maybe I’m wrong? idk
Btw she was a character on Xena indeed a blond villain if I recall
I don't 100% remember who my gay awakening was because I don't think I had one? It wasn't so much that one day I realized, "omg she's so hot, this changes everything! I get it now!" It was more like my dumbass realized that not every girl thought or felt the same way I did when I looked at girls, ykwim? Now that moment is burned in my brain like a fuckin lightning bolt 🥴.
I had been doing my math homework and had MTV or Vh1, one of the two, on in the background and it had this little afterschool special type thing on about a high school just for gay teens who had been bullied so badly they had to leave their own schools. And I remember this red headed girl came on and the interviewer asked her how she knew she was a lesbian at ~such a young age~ (barf) and she just said (paraphrasing obvs cuz it's been over 20 years), "Because I don't care what boys think, I care what girls think. I don't want boys to look at me and have crushes on me, I want girls to. I want them to feel what I feel when I look at them. I get excited when girls talk or laugh and when they smile at me. I want to hold girls hands and feel them against me, and smell their perfumes and kiss them on the lips after school. And I just want boys to leave me the fuck alone. Once I realized that wasn't how most other girls felt, it was pretty easy to figure out who I was."
And when I tell you?? A bitch? Started? Sobbing?? Over her math homework??? Because it was just like everything suddenly made sense. Like oh my fucking god. Oh my god. Oh my god 😑. That's it. I literally froze halfway through a problem and just stared at the screen and started sobbing because it felt like a truck had hit me. I just thought every girl felt that way, but,,,, apparently they don't??!
So it was never really like a "gay awakening character" or anything like that, I just realized my stupid ass had been having crushes on women all along without realizing that was what it was. But if I had to pick one, the first I can blatantly remember being entirely too attached to was Ms. Honey. I mean damn 👀
#anon#speaking of which if you liked Syn's It Starts With A Chip fic and think that actress is hot#suuuuper recommend the movie bicentennial man with Robin Williams and her in it#she is a whole smokeshow

At Alter’s End: A CYOA Novel
Overview:
Trentworth, Maine. A town of ten thousand southeast of Ellsworth and North of Bayside. Its only bragging point since its conception in 1867 was being a shoreline city and cheaper than any of the other big tourist towns. Nothing ever happened here, besides the occasional drowning or fishing trip accident, until the killings started. They lasted five years in total and 48 people were lost to the killer’s sick desires. Robert Hall terrorized this small town, slipping under the radar by focusing on those considered “undesirable”; sex workers, orphans, drug addicts, and the like. Now ten years later, ten years after the killer has been put behind bars, murders have begun again. A copycat killer has come to Trentworth. And they seem to be targeting the ones left behind, still trying to pick up the shattered pieces of their lives…
You take the role of a highschool senior; your parents having died in a home fire shortly before the killer was put behind bars and now under the care of your workaholic aunt. Make allies of your classmates or attempt to go it alone, clear your parents’ name from their believed involvement with the killer or fight to put the past behind you, deal with the skeletons in your closet and mind or bury them deeper... Oh, and make sure your history project is turned in on time. With two young siblings depending on you and a whole host of problems a highschool student should never have to deal with, can you survive this nightmare made real?
Trigger Warnings: This game will go into very heavy topics including the following; murder, death, various mental health issues (such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety), abandonment, gambling, various types of drug addiction, self harm mentions (not happening to the MC or shown in graphic detail), suicide, sex work, child abuse (mental, emotional, and physical), and dangerous situations. This is a murder mystery/thriller, it is NOT intended for audiences below 18.
Hello! Thank you for showing interest in At Alter’s End. This is a Choose Your Own Adventure style novel in the Thriller and Murder Mystery genres. It would also fit nicely in the Drama genre as well, but Drama is not the focus. This will be a rather lengthy project, with fifteen chapters plus a prologue and epilogue planned.
You take on the role of a senior at Trentworth High. Join an after-school activity, take care of your younger siblings, prepare for finals, get a part time job, find a date to homecoming, and survive your worst nightmare come to life. The copycat killer is targeting the students of your school and no one is safe. With the police dragging their feet, no help coming any time soon from any higher up law enforcement, and the locals refusing to acknowledge the possibility of a copycat killer, it’s up to you and your classmates to find the person responsible...before it’s too late.
- You can play as female, male, nonbinary, or trans!
- You can be straight, gay, or bisexual!
- A highly customizable MC including hair color, eye color, skin color, hair length, height, and personality and interests!
- The ability to choose which mental illness the MC suffers from due to the trauma of their past from the following:
Anxiety, Depression, or PTSD.
- The MC is deaf in their right ear ear due to the way in which their parents died; this is not something that can be changed.
- Choose from 7 different official after-school activities! Trentworth Volunteers, Up and Coming Artists, National Debate Society, National Honors Society, Co-Ed Varsity Basketball, Creative Writing, and Trentworth Gardeners!
- Bond with your classmates, explore your town, and help raise your younger siblings!
- Rescue your parents’ bakery from corporate clutches or let it go!
- Find the killer, stop the murders, and put a stop to the rumors that have plagued your every step for 10 years!
Vanya: Oldest adoptive twin sibling to MC’s adoptive siblings, 6 years younger than MC. Strong-headed, intelligent, and always getting into trouble. She looks after her brother and MC in the ways she can.
Ajay: Youngest adoptive twin sibling to MC’s adoptive sibling, 6 years younger than MC. Nearly completely blind since birth, he enjoys painting and other artistic endeavors. Obedient yet opinionated.
Aunt Emma: The workaholic aunt that takes custody of MC and their younger siblings after the death of their parents. Well meaning but absent most of the time on business trips or at the office.
Kwan Hall: An adoptive relative to Robert Hall; aloof, intelligent, and completely ostracized by Trentworth as a whole. When the killings start again the town’s attention is immediately turned on Kwan. He’s the first to begin investigating the killings when the police prove their incompetence. He is of Korean descent, standing at 5’6” with dark hair and dark eyes. His most notable feature is the long scar that stretches from his forehead’s hairline, down his left temple, and ends just below his jawline and the constant disinterest on his face. He is asexual in that he doesn’t experience sexual attraction at all. He is also bisexual.
Alessia D’Agostina: Trentworth High’s school president. She’s clawed her way tooth and nail up to earn the respect of both the school faculty and her fellow classmates; she’s strong-willed, dependable, and always looks at things through a logical lens. When she sees her classmates dying, she takes it upon herself to try and stop this once and for all. With dark skin, deep brown eyes, long braided hair, and standing at 5’8” her confidence and sense of self always make sure she stands out from the crowd. Alessia is bisexual.
Georgiy Kuzmin: Twin brother to Anastasiya Kuzmin; he is, in the kindest way possible, not the brightest bulb in the box. Yet he always means well and is more than willing to offer a helping hand. As the co-captain of the basketball team, captain of the baseball team, and the star of the swim team, Georgiy is one of the most popular and well beloved students at Trentworth High. When he realizes his friends are in danger, he willingly throws himself into the investigation to do all he can to help. With fair skin, dirty blond hair, bubbly green eyes, and standing at 6’1” he cuts an approachable figure to anyone who knows him. Georgiy is gay.
Anastasiya Kuzmin: Twin sister to Georgiy Kuzmin: she and her brother are alike in so many ways apart from just appearance. Anastasiya, who goes by Ana more often than not, is head of the Co-Ed Varsity Basketball team, the Girls’ softball team, and the Tennis team. Just as popular and loved as her brother, Ana may not be the smartest but she makes up for it with passion and dedication. Like her brother, she has fairer skin, dirty blond hair, and bright green eyes. Also like her brother, she felt she couldn’t just sit around while her friends were put in danger and agreed to join the investigation. Ana is gay and demiromantic, meaning she only gains feelings for someone after having a strong relationship with them.
Lillian Triano: A quiet, withdrawn girl who mainly keeps to herself. Due to the fact that Trentworth High demands for every senior to be apart of an elective, she is mainly seen in afterschool reading club run by Ms. Habeeb. She’s MC’s closest friend, having been one of the only people who didn’t believe the rumors that MC’s parents were assisting Robert Hall in his murders. She has an olive complexion, brown eyes, a heavy dose of freckles, and stands at 5’1”. Lillian is gay.
Jasmine Abernathy: Jasmine is Trentworth High’s self proclaimed “Best news source!” After the school newspaper was disbanded, Jasmine took it upon herself to keep freedom of the press alive. She’s fierce in her pursuit of the truth and never one to back down from a fight, though her rash attitude can get her into some sticky situations on occasion. With vibrant red hair, dark brown eyes, and standing at 5’3” she puts the term “fire” in Fire Signs. (She’s an Aries in astrology!) When the copycat killings began, it was no surprise when she took the case head on. Jasmine is bisexual.
Asa San Nicholas: Asa is the oldest of a set of triplets; they’re the type to march to the beat of their own drum, often not listening to what anyone has to say about themselves or their interests. Asa is a firm believer in the paranormal and it isn’t uncommon to find them indulging in their interest in various ways. “The spirits are distrubed. These deaths aren’t meant to happen.” Asa’s reason for getting involved seems to tie directly back to their “connection” with the spirits of the town. Asa has black hair, most often tied in a ponytail, hazel eyes, and an olive skin tone. At 6’4” they tower over most everyone...something they seem to enjoy a great deal. Asa doesn’t see gender and is interested in people regardless of how they present.
Leo San Nicholas: The middle of the triplets. They are genderfluid, okay with any pronouns. Leo is, for lack of a better word, eccentric. A bit of an adrenaline junkie, you can often find them cliff diving or giving their siblings heart attacks by playing russian roulette with a chocolate gun. To them, it isn’t fun if there isn’t a little danger involved; naturally, an investigation into a serial killer scratches that itch quite nicely. Their black hair is clipped short, multiple piercings visible on each ear, and their heterochromatic hazel and green eyes are often stated to stare through a person. Although Leo is genderfluid, they are only interested in people who present as female.
The demo is upcoming! When it is available I will make a post announcing it! I will also update this post with the link! This game is written in choicescript; the demo will be published on Dashingdon and the final game will be published for free on itch.io. I am open for questions regarding this game/novel and once the demo is published I will also be publishing a link to my Ko-fi! Until then, please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions!

Red Dot Artist Spotlight--Daniel Killen
Today, we shine our spotlight on the immensely talented and very funny, Daniel Killen. Daniel has been creating artwork for the Red Dot Auction for six years and every year his creations astound and delight. This year is no different! To find his artwork—if you can guess which one it is—go to CharityAuction.bid/RedDot11. Register to bid and bid often and bid high. All proceeds go to fund the creativity programs of the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity, a 501(c)3 public charity. The Center focuses on providing programs for children whose schools no longer support the arts, teenagers and young adults on the spectrum, and seniors who see the value in keeping their brains healthy and resilient.
Daniel Killen was born in 1965 and raised along the coast of Southern California, where he still lives and calls home. The youngest of four, Daniel’s family originally immigrated to the United States from Scotland in 1963. Always feeling like an outsider, he began creating and using his imagination to cope with his own shyness. As a child, Daniel created creatures and worlds out of clay, cardboard, and any other items lying around the house. His love for creating grew to include illustrating and painting all of which set the course for his life’s goal of being an artist.
His artistic career began creating designs for a t-shirt business, but in his spare time he was working as a freelance artist designing theatrical backdrops and props used in CBS afterschool specials, produced by his Emmy-award winning brother, Michael. He was given the opportunity through a Disney artist to produce clean-up line work for Western Publishing on Walt Disney licensed creations. This included work on Little Golden Books, featuring Mickey Mouse and Goofy, the Pocahontas Giant Activity Book, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame coloring books. Daniel’s work has consistently been accepted into visual design competitions, including the Orange County Fair, where he has won numerous first place awards. Daniel’s latest book illustrations can be found in the 2013 children’s book Lessons from Sarah the Cat for a Southern California Charity, Pathways to Independence.
He studied animation at Roland Animation School in Hacienda, California. Learning the basics of 2D animation principles, Daniel was recruited in mid-1995 by Warner Bros. where he worked in their animation division on Space Jam starring Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny. Trained primarily in visual effects, he fulfilled a lifelong dream on his first professional Hollywood project by getting to work with all of the classic Looney Tunes characters. Performing tasks as an animator’s assistant, he was given the responsibility of animating certain EFX scenes on his own. These experiences lead to work on eight additional animated feature films over the next eight years for Warner Bros. and DreamWorks SKG Animation Studio. Daniel also created concept and prop designs for Warner Bros. The Iron Giant, directed by Brad Bird, where he designed the giant’s visual readout, including the font design used in all scenes where the giant’s viewfinder was shown. He also was responsible for the creation of other items in the movie as well as the words ATOMIC HOLOCOST, which reads across the main character’s Duck and Cover school safety film.
His other movies for Warner Bros. were The Quest for Camelot and Osmosis Jones with Bill Murray. DreamWorks SKG projects included working in the EFX department, on Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, and Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas. He also did freelance work for Rich Animation’s The King and I. Daniel continued to hone his drawing and painting skills in classes provide by the major studios, as well as the Animators Union.
Daniel now works with the Chuck Jones Gallery bringing to canvas such inspired Warner Bros. properties as The Wizard of Oz, A Christmas Story, The Iron Giant, and the classic Looney Tunes characters Bugs Bunny, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck, and the Road Runner. Greatly influenced by such artistic giants as Norman Rockwell, Edward Hopper, Frank Frazetta, and Chuck Jones, Daniel incorporates sly wit, poetic beauty, and adventurous themes into his work. He brings his whimsical sense of humor, pleasing colors, and clever layout to all his creative endeavors. In 2018, Daniel was chosen by the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta to create the poster for the 2018 Fiesta and to conceptualize and execute the designs for future posters leading up to the 50th Anniversary of the Fiesta in 2021.
Daniel lives by two inspirational quotes from French Director Robert Bresson: “Make visible what, without you, might perhaps never have been seen. “, and “Bring together things that have not yet been brought together and did not seem predisposed to be so.”

M. Emmet Walsh Born: March 22, 1935, Ogdensburg, NY Physique: Husky Build Height: 5'10" (1.78 m)
Michael Emmet Walsh is an American character actor and comedian who has appeared in over 200+ films and television productions with numerous critically acclaimed stage performances since the 1970s and 1980s. He also appeared in such other films as Carl Reiner's comedy The Jerk, Robert Redford's drama Ordinary People, Ridley Scott's science fiction film Blade Runner, Barry Sonnenfeld's steampunk western Wild Wild West and Brad Bird's animated film The Iron Giant.
With his distinctive wheezy voice and line deliveries dripping with jocular sarcasm, Walsh has made a name for himself as one of America’s pre-eminent and hardest working character actors in the business. More importantly, he’s not shy about taking his clothes off in front of the camera as there are many television shows and movies where he has done so.

- Is that serious, Robert? - What do you mean? - Is there something wrong with you, Robert? I'm no editor but I can safely say that's probably the worst thing I've ever seen. You didn't even have music! I'm gonna tell Mr. Wiseman to have someone else reediting everything. You... I'm very disappointed.

Remembering Robron 2020
Day 2 - Friendship
Prompt: "You took all the pillows, so I'm using you as one."
AO3 Link:
Pillows
Robert guarded the mountain of creased, misshapen pillows at the foot of his bed, a smirk spreading across his face. Aaron sat across from him, leaning on the headrest with his knees drawn up to his chest as he held his chin up high. His feet relentlessly prodded Robert in the back of the kneecap, much to no gain.
“Seriously?” Aaron sulked, regaining his lost breath.
Robert leant backwards, letting the pile of pillows consume him to rub it in his best friend’s face. His lanky, overly smug frame was stretched to its limit, sprawled out across the feather-soft barrier of pillows and blocking Aaron’s access to each and every single one of them.
Robert sniggered, “Just because you’re weak, mate.”
“You have five hundred pillows and won’t even give me one?”
Robert craned his neck, peering around the mess on his bedroom floor. He shifted his weight to reach for a rather large plush toy cat with a pink bowtie that Victoria had left discarded in his room the night before. He lobbed it at Aaron who caught it with a scowl.
“There you go.”
“Cheers.” Aaron replied, shooting Robert a melodramatic smile that spewed sarcasm.
Aaron flung the fuzzy cat up in the air before booting it across the bedroom, watching as it slammed into the bedroom door with such momentum that the power of it brushed the sticker-littered door shut.
“Nice one.” Robert remarked, his eyes closed as he rested his hands on his stomach. Aaron’s gaze had naturally landed on the rise and fall that came from Robert’s steady breathing before drifting up to his light pink lips that twitched a little when he was really relaxed; but it went a miss by both lads.
Aaron sighed before getting up to route through Robert’s desk for the television remote. The only noise in the meantime was the rhythmic ticking of the slanted clock on the wall. It was framed by a few pieces of homework and revision that Robert’s dorky brain had deemed important enough to pin up on the wall for the duration of Year 11.
The noise of the second hand then faded away, replaced with the distant nattering of Jack and Andy’s voices coming from somewhere downstairs, bouncing off the stone walls at an irritating volume. They sounded joyous, laughter trickling into their conversation and all it did was wind Aaron up, reminding him of Robert’s countless rants on the way home from school each afternoon. He would go on and on about how his dad and brother grew closer each day, pushing Robert further and further into that blind spot. Each bluster would always finish in tears that flowed freely by the time they ended up at Robert’s front porch.
Letting it go, Aaron finally ended up with the TV remote in his hand. He pointed it at the TV but got nothing in return. Scoffing, he peeled the back off, only to be greeted by a blank, empty space where the batteries should be. He chucked the control on the bed with a frustrated puff of his cheeks.
“Andy stole ‘em.” Robert simply said. Aaron just rolled his eyes because what else would he do?
As the sun set, Aaron successfully hunted down a pack of double A’s and the two friends shared a greasy, takeaway pizza under the glow of Robert’s lava lamp with reruns of Top Gear playing on the 24 inch television screen. The window rattled and howled and there was a chill in the bedroom as powerful gusts of winds squeezed through the cracks in the windowpane, jumping at each boom and clash of thunder. If Robert listened really carefully, he could hear the familiar sound of the loose TV aerial flapping against the chimney. It was a miracle that they were seeing any pixels at all as the sound kept dipping and cutting off. But neither Robert or Aaron cared, they were just grateful to be in each other’s company.
They were both stuck in the exact same positions as earlier, Robert submerged in his pretentious amount of pillows and Aaron at the other end of the bed, wrapped tightly in Robert’s duvet. As he wiped his lips with the sleeve of his school jumper, Aaron tossed the now empty pizza box aside. High pitch but almost inaudible whistle sounds came from Robert’s nostrils with each slow breath he emitted and Aaron stopped blinking, fighting away a smile. He shuffled around, dragging his duvet cape with him as he rested his head on Robert’s belly. He let out a content sigh.
“What are you doing?” Came Robert’s anxious voice.
“You took all the pillows, so I’m using you as one.”
Aaron’s victory was small. It meant nothing, it was just Aaron being his cheeky self. But the trail of sweat clinging to Robert’s back disagreed. He had gone from warm to hot and didn’t know what to do with himself. He wanted to jump up and shake away that feeling of the back of Aaron’s head pressing on his tingling stomach, the hair at the nape of Aaron’s neck tickling his belly button. Robert’s weary eyes flickered to the clock. It was nearly nine thirty.
“You should probably get home.” Robert said, sitting up so that Aaron had no choice but to shift with a groan.
Aaron frowned, “I thought I was sleeping round tonight?”
“I just remembered I’m needed on the farm in the morning.” Robert muttered. “You’ll probably deck me if I wake ya up at the crack of dawn.”
Robert couldn’t tell if his lies were absorbent enough for Aaron to soak up but either way there was a glint of dread in Aaron’s eyes that shattered his heart into lots of little pieces. He cleared his throat before handing Aaron his tattered school bag, eyes going blurry as he focused on the large coca-cola stain at the bottom of it.
“Sorry.”
Aaron just grabbed his blazer, swinging it over his shoulder as he scuffed his shoes across the hardwood floors. Once Robert had glimpsed out the window to see Aaron trudging down the driveway past the puddles that were reflecting the orange glow of the outside light bulbs, Robert slumped miserably against the back of his bedroom door and let the floodgates open, tears rolling down his pink cheeks one by one.
The following Monday came around quicker than the flick of a cat’s tail and Robert stood in their usual afterschool spot, shivering from the cold as he waited for Aaron to turn up. He leant against the rotting fence, grimacing at the streaks of moss and grime whilst watching the caretaker tirelessly shovel piles of grit onto the icy road.
Him and Aaron had a routine. The same routine they’d been doing together since that fateful day they became friends nearly two years ago. They would meet by salt bins at the top of the school field, start the treacherous path to the bus stop, hop on the bus to Emmerdale and listen to the same songs on Robert’s MP3 player that he’d bought with months worth of pocket money, chatter on their way up to Butler’s Farm and spend the evening playing monopoly or scrabble in front of the log burner as they toasted marshmallows. Most nights they would pair up to scramble something together in the kitchen whilst Jack and Andy grafted on the farm all night. But on Friday’s, they would both chip in to order a takeaway, whether that be pizza or curry. Never fish and chips though, Aaron was oddly persistent about that. They’d eat, they’d laugh and then if he wasn’t staying over Aaron would begrudgingly get the last bus home.
Robert couldn’t imagine his life without Aaron. Now now, not ever. Whatever he dreamed of, whatever he envisioned for his future; Aaron was always there. It all started on Aaron’s 14th birthday a couple of years ago, also known as the first day that a broken Robert had to go back to school without his mum there to fasten his tie and make his packed lunch in the morning. That whole day had been a blur and every inch of his body felt numb. He’d walked around with the kind of pain he would never wish on his worst enemy. That was until the last lesson of the day - Physics. This mouthy chav with weird spikey hair slouched on the chair next to him, wearing a giant ‘14’ badge and chewing way too much gum. He had somehow stayed in Robert’s life, and heart, from that day on.
Today, however, it was getting dark and Aaron was still nowhere to be seen. So for the first time in two years, Robert stepped on the empty bus back to Emmerdale by himself.
When he arrived home, he creaked the door open and flicked his bedroom light on, shuddering at the silence. He dumped his bag and let out a wivering sigh as he sat on the edge of his bed to pull his shoes off, letting them tumble carelessly to the floor. He sniffed, swallowing the scared, cowardly lump at the back of his throat. His watery eyes landed on the small collection of framed pictures on his dusty windowsill; one of his mum sporting an infectious smile a few months before she’d died, and one of himself, Aaron and Liv. He’d only met Aaron’s little sister and step mum once - the day they’d posed for that photo together. He hadn’t stayed for long, Aaron had been on edge the whole time, sending Robert away before his dad had even returned home from work. Aaron never speaks of the day he let Robert come round.
The display on Robert’s nokia came to life and Aaron’s name flickered on the screen. Robert answered it as quickly as humanly possible.
“Aaron? Where were you after school?”
”Can I come over?”
“Of course.”
The only response was a bleep at the other end of the line so Robert stayed put. And waited. And waited some more. Until an hour or so later when Aaron snuck into Robert’s bedroom, snowflakes melting away on his coat. Robert gasped slightly, eyebrows pressed together in a frown as he told Aaron to put his sopping wet jacket on the radiator and chucked him a chunky woolen blanket.
Aaron cosied up in Robert’s desk chair, picking away at the peeling leather on the side. He chewed nervously at the inside of his cheeks, gazing up at Robert through his eyelashes.
“Why did you suddenly get rid of me on Friday? And don’t lie to me again.”
“I- I told you.” Robert stammered, after a moment of uncomfortable silence that ran Aaron’s patience thin. “I was busy.”
“And I told you I don’t believe you.” Aaron retorted.
It wasn’t a complete fib. Robert had been busy, just not on the farm like he’d claimed. He’d spent that entire morning feeling sorry for himself, laying in bed as he stared vacantly at the cracks and tears on his bedroom ceiling with a stinging heart. Aaron’s name had illuminated Robert’s phone screen for hours, staring him in the face. It nudged him until the battery fell flat and Robert sulked over not having the bottle to press the green button. Instead of nicking the charger from Andy’s room, Robert threw his phone in the wicker shoe basket next to his wardrobe and buried his hand in the sand. Well, his pillow.
Robert wasn’t stupid. He knew that as much as he wanted it to, this... crush he had on his best friend wasn’t going away. It began as a flutter in the bottom of his stomach when Aaron did as much as give him the time of day. And as their friendship grew stronger, that little butterfly that Robert had gotten used to reproduced. It multiplied until a flock of them took over Robert’s body in a matter of months and it was powerful.
Aaron wasn’t stupid either. He’d noticed the not-so-subtle shift in their dynamic. At some point in the past couple of months, when they came back to the farm after school, the scratchy living room carpet they sat cross legged on had changed to the lumps and bumps of Robert’s spring mattress that had seen better days, the awkward silence had changed to a lack of boundaries, the playful slaps and punches had changed to hugs that lasted for just a little too long and the one versus one football matches in the park had changed to stingy little dinner dates that they both turned up to looking their best.
The squeaking of the wheels from his desk chair brought Robert back into the room and he looked up to find Aaron spinning in circles on the chair, like what Vic does when she’s waiting for her big brother to get off his arse and play Vets with her.
Robert perched at the edge of his bed, drumming on his knees.
Aaron spoke tentatively, “What is it, really? I can take it.”
Robert stuck his leg out, hooking the bottom of Aaron’s chair with his foot. It stopped spinning abruptly and Aaron then realised just how serious Robert’s tensed features were.
“Do you remember last summer when you caught me kissing that boy in one of the barns?” Robert asked, a little clumsily as he raced through his words.
“Yeah, the farmhand. We never spoke about that.”
“We didn’t need to.” Robert exhaled shakily. “Anyway, things went a little further. We ended up in here.”
Aaron felt a wave of jealousy splash over his feet which he tried his utmost hardest to ignore. “Okay. And then what happened?”
“My dad caught us before anything could happen. He sacked him on the spot and then he- he beat me black and blue, basically. He started proper shouting, kept saying how no son of his would ever-” The strain in Robert’s throat caught up with him and he couldn’t breath, scraping for air as his tears burned and hushed him. He felt Aaron’s hands on his trembling back, pulling him close enough to feel Aaron’s chest heaving in sync against his. It calmed him like a lullaby.
Robert could still feel the bruises from Jack's disgust that marked him for days. They’d followed him the next morning when he hobbled over to the church, sobbing and desperate to talk to his mum again. Just to feel her arms around him one last time, listen to her calming voice tell him that he was loved for who he was.
“Listen to me.” Aaron put his palms either side of Robert’s face, tilting the blond’s heavy head up to meet his eyes. “Whoever you like, whatever you like, it doesn’t matter. Okay? You’re still so amazing and Jack is mad for not seeing that.”
“Do you really mean that?” Robert asked through a sniffle.
“Of course.” Aaron smiled, rubbing Robert’s back to sooth him.
Robert dabbed at his tears with a balled up fist under his sleeve, counting softly and silently to try and calm his uneven breathing. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Aaron lunged forward to give Robert a tight hug. He nestled his head in the crook of Robert’s neck and Robert let one last tear fall, melting in Aaron’s uplifting embrace. With Robert’s nose snug against Aaron’s shoulder, he inhaled the warming scent of his best friend and the corner of his lips curled up. It was like he got high off Aaron’s smell and often used, no, needed it as relief when his head was mashed. Except this time, he couldn’t seem to get enough and when Aaron let him go he delved in, eyes squeezed shut, and planted his lips on Aaron’s. But before he even knew what he was doing, he felt Aaron’s palms press firmly on his chest, pushing him away.
“What are you doing?” Aaron gulped, a flash of panic flying across his face. He backed away from Robert like a threatened animal at the zoo.
Robert’s stare flicked repeatedly between Aaron’s slightly parted lips and his hand that hovered over the door handle ready to flee if need be. Except Aaron wasn’t leaving. He’d froze on the spot, chin trembling as his eyes glued themselves to Robert’s. It was like he wanted to tear them away with every fibre of his being but something was stopping him.
Robert shrugged, “I- I’m sorry.”
And he honestly didn’t know what was running through Aaron’s mind. Perhaps it was a reflection of his own memories. Vivid images of Aaron clicking his pen on the desk at school, head resting on the palm of his hand as waited for the bell to ring. When he thought Robert was solely focused on jotting down notes, Aaron would often let his eyes avert to the odd boy who had been taking up his daydreams that week. Wistfully gazing into the back of some boy’s head until he snapped his attention away and frantically scribbled in his text book, acting like all those thoughts and labels whirling around his mind from day to day weren’t important.
Robert had picked up on it and it kept him awake at night.
It had landed them both to this moment right now.
“Robert?” Aaron’s voice was timid.
“Mm?”
Aaron reached to put his arms around Robert’s neck, gently pulling him closer until their lips met again. Robert relaxed and kissed him back in a heartbeat.
8 Years Later
Aaron dangled the key to his and Robert’s new home off the tip of his finger. Their first home. He was standing in the centre of the unfurnished flat, Robert’s arm draped over his shoulder as he beamed at his fiancé.
“It’s going to take a lot of work but-”
Aaron cut Robert off, “It doesn’t matter, it’s already perfect.”
“Soft lad.” Robert noted.
“Oi!" Aaron jabbed Robert in the stomach. "There’s only one soft lad around here and it’s not me.”
Robert gave a light laugh before worming his hand around the back of Aaron’s neck and smiling into a kiss.
Years ago, as the last year of school had drawn to a close, the two of them had gone their separate ways. When their little bubble of secrecy burst and the honeymoon period came to an abrupt end, Robert fell to the black sheep of his family. With a long summer ahead, the feuding became tiresome and eventually drove him out of the village as autumn loomed. Aaron woke up one morning and Robert just wasn’t there. No note, no goodbye, nothing. Just a cold pillow and a long continuous beep when his number was dialled.
Aaron had never needed him more when things at home spiraled into dark, nasty and uncharted places and he felt constantly bruised and suffocated under the monstrous hands of the one person who was supposed to love him and keep him safe. With the help of Sandra and his mum, he’d successfully fought tooth and nail to put his so called father behind bars and leave him to rot all the way to hell.
Him and his mum's relationship had had a bumpy start but that can be expected when coming face to face for the first time in over a decade in a courtroom of all places. Hardly ideal. However, Chas battled seamlessly to prove herself and now they had got back the bond Aaron had dreamed of having since the day she upped and left. Aaron had got his life back. Even if it was incomplete until Robert had returned.
And as for Robert… well, that's a story for another day. For now, it remains one of those questions that lives on unanswered.
"So, pub or takeaway? Unless you want to cook." Robert asked, snagging Aaron's train of thought.
Aaron snorted, "And wake up on moving day with food poisoning? Nah, you're alright."
"Fair enough. Pizza it is." Robert patted himself down in search of his phone and pulled it out, his back scraping down the wall until he landed on the floor with a thud.
Aaron slid his hands in his pockets and parroted Robert, legs stuck out in front of him as he sat.
"We should've brought a cushion or something." Robert pointed out.
Aaron looked at Robert like he had hung the moon. "Don't need a pillow, I've got you for that."
As Aaron curled up and snuggled his head between Robert's stomach and lap, Robert wondered how his heart hadn't swelled up so much that it burst through the defences of his ribcage and flustered skin. Robert truly counted his luck stars because if he ever lost Aaron, he would lose his heart as well. But they were a long way from that. In this moment, his hand covered Aaron's and their engagement rings clinked together in sweet harmony.

Yaoi
Rebirth - Midnighter & Apollo

Roadimus Highway
Parody of: Optimus prime and Rodimus prime/hot rod
Show: Cyberbots vs Psychocons
Real full name: Roadimus highway
Gender: male
Race: Robotronian
Age: 300(young adult by robotronian standards).
Job: leader of Cyberbots
Sexuality: pansexual
Religion: Currently Agnosticism, formerly Christian
Relatives: Rebecca “Becky” Highway(mother), Mr Highway(father)
Voiced by: Will arnett
Background: once the greatest leader of the heroic faction, beloved role model of robot heroes and symbol of hope now a bitter, depressed, self-loathing, narcissistic and ptsd-driven suicidal wreck who turn toward drugs, smoking and alcohol as a coping way for his loss of his beloved comrades to his deranged arch-nemesis Motortron and his Psychocons and experiencing the horrors of war. After his show got cancelled, he resign himself from the cyberbots by letting Cutie pie(a cutesy diabetic parody of Care Bears/my little pony) take his place as the leader instead. After retiring and leaving his faction, he join the drawn together gang and become one of their housemates. He represents the stoner veteran.
Trivia:
1. If he was a human, he be Chinese/Japanese and a power ranger parody. He confirm this when he is turned into a human for 10 days by using the machine as a bet. As a human, his human name is Robert Highman and he look like in his late 30’s to early 40’s. He is one head taller than Captain hero and had a beer gut.
2. His voice actor, Will arnett, voices the titular character from American adult animated web television series. Roadimus share the same personality of Bojack Horseman
3. Personality wise, he Optimus prime with Bender’s personality and voice of Bojack horseman
4. Appearance wise, he look like G1 Optimus prime(minus the mouth mask) but with Rodimus prime’s colour schemes. His eyes turned red whenever he went on a rage.
5. His relationship with Wooldoor is similar to Bojack and Todd
6. He get along with Toot because they share their love for alcohol and were suicidal wrecks. During their first time being high together, they had sex in the couch.
7. His alt mode is an 80’s style Van
8. He went on a rage whenever his drugs are stolen or being called “No-penis”. He also suffered mental breakdowns and began hallucinating himself whenever he hear the word “Psychocons” and “Motortron” or he saw something similar to Psychocons and Motortron.
9. He rivals with Captain hero. He disliked captain hero because he a “terrible role model for boys” and once called him “no-penis”. He also put off by his weird sexual fantasies(despite Roadimus being pansexual like Captain hero, he had standards)
10. He used to have feelings for Grasshopper(a parody of Bumblebee(transformers), Astroboy and Megaman) before he left the faction to become the star of his own show.
11. He had a foot fetish
12. He had a secret crush on Foxxy
13. He is a big fan of eighties and nineties music.
14. His weapon is a flaming sword. He only summoned it when he says “By the power of Robotron, I have the power”.
15. He tried to become sober once until Captain hero and Spanky ruin it
16. As a baby, he is a very optimistic, innocent and happy-go-lucky ray of sunshine who always Look on the Bright Side of Life and say no to drinking, smoking and drugs. But after he is forced to kill Charlotte by Toot when she is revealed to be alive, he is so traumatized by his first murder that he later smoke cocaine that he found in charlotte’s bag. The host appears and announces "And that is how Roadimus become a bitter stoner and scarred war veteran."
17. Like Foxxy, he is the only one who not "completely retarded."
18. He is diagnosed with severe PTSD, depression, substance abuse, alcoholism, suicidal tendencies and narcissistic personality disorder
19. In “A Very Special Drawn Together Afterschool Special” episode, he role-played as a beatnik-like therapist named Dr. James Dean Fonzie who was hired by Xandir’s parents so he could “cure their Son’s homosexuality”. After trying to give few therapy lessons with Xandir to “fix his homosexuality” and end up failing miserably, he says “F**k this” and quickly leave the house by using his rocket boots. He is seen at the bar reading his poem in the stage.
-his poem is named “the life and death of an 80s action hero”. The poem is about the Deconstruction of a eighties hero’s archetype and how the many losses, struggles and horrors he faces during his mighty adventures and battle toward his enemies.
-the poem seem to be possibly based on Roadimus’s life as a leader of the Cyberbots.
20. His catchphrase is “Bite my Ass, Fuckwart!”. His quotes are based on references from 80’s-90’s heroes like He-man, Optimus prime, Lion-O from Thundercats, GI joe and Voltron.
21. His show begin in 1984 and ends in 1992. It last eight seasons.
22. His mother is a robotronian while his father is a toaster.
23. He serve as the vehicle transportation of the drawn together’s cast. He refused to let Captain Hero drive it.
24. His secrets is that he a fan of Beatnik culture, once vomit on one of his comrades when he is drunk, hates awful 80’s-90’s remakes and had a crush on Foxxy.
25. His favorite drug is Galaxy Oasis
26. Rudy Ray Moore, the self-proclaimed “ghetto expressionist” behind two of the wildest 1970s cult films is receiving newfound attention thanks to the Netflix biopic Dolemite Is My Name. Moore’s first two films, Dolemite (1975) and The Human Tornado (1976), were so popular that we easily forget he was more than just his dadbod kung fu character. While staying true to his raunchy comedy self, Moore’s subsequent two films, Petey Wheatstraw (1977) and Disco Godfather (1979), pushed his style to surprisingly macabre places, creating films that should be remembered as examples of the horror-noire genre.
Written and directed by frequent Moore collaborator Cliff Roquemore, Petey Wheatstraw follows the title character (Moore), nightclub comedian and kung-fu master who, after being gunned down at a funeral by some underworld thugs, strikes a deal with the Devil. He will get his life back, but only if he marries the Devil’s famously ugly daughter. He agrees and imbued with the supernatural powers of Satan’s mighty cane, Petey wages war on the nightclub owners who put the hit out on him, all while scheming a way out of getting hitched in Hell.
Petey Wheatstraw is a raunchy horror-comedy influenced by the pop-horror of the mid-’70s while still leaning into Moore’s hilarious low-budget aesthetic. A scene in which Petey wreaks psychic havoc is an obvious riff on the previous year’s release Carrie. While it doesn’t look nearly as good as Brian De Palma’s famous prom scene, the wholehearted attempt is as endearing as the costumes the film’s demons wear, which are reminiscent of children’s theatre.
Moore’s character in Petey Wheatstraw also evokes the sensibilities of a late-night horror host, complete with spooky rhythm, raunchy double entendres, and a fourth wall made to be broken. You can imagine Petey rubbing shoulders with everyone from Elvira and Svengoolie to even Coffin Joe, the Brazilian film icon and horror host created and performed by Jose Mojica Marins.
Coffin Joe features in a series of films that Moore’s later works have been compared to. Like Petey Wheatstraw, he is an emblematic character played by an unmatchable showman, despite Marins’ films being much darker than Moore’s. But the comparisons to Moore is really less in who the character is and more in the style and visual language of Marins’ films. Beginning with At Midnight I’ll Take Your Soul (1964), the Coffin Joe series is filled with Halloween motifs and swirling dark imagery for its ghouls to maniacally emerge from, rushing at the screen in a hallucinatory haze.
The influence of Marins’ dreamy style is perhaps most evident in Moore’s final film of the 1970s, Disco Godfather. Equal parts disco odyssey, kung-fu comedy, and horror film, it’s Moore at his most magnetic and boisterous. Written and directed by J. Robert Wagoner, the film follows Moore as Tucker, an ex-cop turned club owner who starts a crusade against the new street drug Angel Dust after his nephew is pushed into a bad trip. Like Petey Wheatstraw, this isn’t conventional horror, but it is filled with drugged-out visions of Hell that look to not only be inspired by the spookiness of Coffin Joe but also the expressionism of Mario Bava and the white-faced demons of ’60s Japanese horror films.
The wack-fueled hallucinations – demonic basketball players, EC Comics skeletons, ghoulish Sergio Stivaletti-style Angels of Death – were in part brought to life by Disco Godfather’s art director, Robert A. Burns. And, if you look at his resume, you can see why they are so damn good. This is a man who was just coming off of both Tobe Hooper’s The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Wes Craven’s The Hills Have Eyes before going on to work with some of the biggest names in the genre, like Joe Dante, Stuart Gordon, and Larry Cohen. Hell, he even worked on Microwave Massacre, a tasteless horror-comedy classic that would have been right up Moore’s raunchy alley. Burns knew his horror, and that knowledge helps make Disco Godfather’s spooky beats pop over 40 years later.
But Disco Godfather was rated PG, which many felt castrated Moore’s trademark dirty humor, especially with the film’s gonzo anti-drug PSA tone. In spite of this rating, the filmmakers resisted cringeworthy afterschool-special tropes by really emphasizing the story’s horror beats with an undercurrent of disquiet and malaise in its addiction urban legends. These real-life horrors, along with healthy doses of spooky viscera, are what earn Disco Godfather its horror-noire stripes.
The film’s nightmare energy crescendos in the finale as Tucker is force-fed Angel Dust through a gas mask, turning a drug den into a house of horrors. And while you can poke fun at the over-the-top zeal of Moore in this moment, the last shot is a jarring, brain boiling cap on an ending that must be seen to be believed. Which is a perfect summation of Rudy Ray Moore’s four-film run in the ’70s. He’s a filmmaker that wanted to shock you, push you off balance, leave you feeling something. Typically it was with his balls-to-the-wall humor, but especially with Disco Godfather, he had more macabre tricks up his sleeve than we’ve given him credit for.
I’m not saying that Rudy Ray Moore was a master of horror. But the fact remains that of the four films he put out in the ’70s, half of them are quasi-horror, which means he deserves to be remembered for his contributions to the genre. He helped create some of the most unique, bizarre horror moments of the decade. These films aren’t horror-noire classics like Abby or Blackenstein: they are something else entirely. Something else that, again, you’ve just got to see to believe.
