Oh we're talking canon-divergent kintypes?
I'm the Heart from Chonny's Charming Chaos Compendium, blended with the Robber from Chonny Jash's Ain't no Rest for the Wicked by Chonny Jash's cover.
I come from a world between worlds on the overlap in the multiverse and my world is a crossover world between like sixty different fandoms.
My ex-lover is anthro Artificer from Rain World.
It's a hero-villain world and I was motivated by resentment for humanity to rob places and target those whom are happy.
And as a cherry on top, my original world was a Tumblr ask blog created by some tween girl I consider God that's from another universe beside our own and I was an "(author favourite)".
I am the KING of canon-divergent sources, I have never met a kin as bizarre as my own. If you ever feel like your source is weird, just remember your old pal Villain Heart.

Funerary Practices of Delvers, Adventurers, Tomb-Robbers & Barrow-Kin
Space funerals weren’t elaborate. There was no grand ritual to it, no protected ceremony, fancy hangings or pretty castkets. Most of the human race simply hadn’t been able to pack those old Earth raditions when the evacuation call went out.And so the “spacer’s wake” tradition came about. The Church of Divine Wealth has ruled this land for an age, preaching of the golden Ichor and the wonders that come from the godly flesh. The humors and fluids are vital to their faith, and in worship of them, one may find peace. They may achieve eukrasia, the greatest state of being. But while the Church preaches of peace, kindness and giving, they have also performed their fair share of holy violence. The Church was not always the leading religion, they had to fight for this position. And once one is on the top, there are many far below ready to tear them down. Thus the Church possesses holy armies and blessed warriors, those who devote their lives and flesh to protecting the Church and its godly Ichor. And where there is war, there are weapons:
1. Staff of Divine Wealth - A common sight at any place of worship where the Church holds sway. It is one of the symbols of the faith and is typically wielded by the priests. While it is more ceremonial in use and carried like a badge of authority, these staffs can indeed cast magic. In line with its preaching of humors in equal measure, it is capable of using any of the Four Humors. However, in keeping equal balance, it does not excel or lack in any area of magic. Its power comes from versatility, favoring simpler spells and beneficial buffs over devastating attacks or complicated elements.
2. Funeral Nails - Dual sided daggers made from Black Bile crystals, used by the Church in funeral rites. The four points will be driven into the four organa of the dead during the ceremony, each drawing the memories and "stories" of the deceased. These crystals will then be broken off and gifted to the next of kin, who now possess these brief snippets of a loved one who is now gone. The blades will grow back in time, ready for the next funeral. There are whispers that these daggers are used for espionage and information extraction from prisoners of the Church, looking to draw out vital knowledge. However, their draining abilities are aimless and messy, unable to precisely gain what one wants. Thus, folk attribute it more towards torture and intimidation, driving prisoners to confess rather than face more stabbings and waking extractions. It is also used by catacomb saints, who guard the dead down below.
3. Cleansing Aspergillum - A mace-like weapon that is filled with Yellow Bile, used by the Church for funeral rites. Holes in its head allows droplets of searing fluid to fall forth when the tool is flicked. Its main purpose is to cleanse the dead during the ceremony, burning away impurities while also partially melting the corpse so that they may return to the great cycle faster. Outside of the temples, it is used by priests who fight against plagues and vile foes, the yellowflame within cleansing these foul enemies of the divine. It is also used by catacomb saints, who keep watch over the deceased. One-handed and two-handed variations exists.
4. Crozier of Awakening - A tool of the Church used in funeral rites that resembles a mix of spear and staff. The crozier is infused with Blood and is used at the beginning of the ceremony to "invigorate" the dead. The staff is carefully stabbed into the chest of the deceased, where the Blood is needed to flow. A jolt of crimson lightning into the body grants it mere moments of energy and life, "awakening" it one last time so that its final words and memories may be drawn out. It is also used on the living, those down or dying granted a boost of energy to help them revive. A miraculous sight of a sickly weak man jumping to his feet, gifted youthful energy by his faith. A fleeting sight, but one that helps keep the flock hopeful and faithful. It is also used by catacomb saints, who ward off grave robbers that would disturb the dead's return.
5. Blessed Censer - A flail-like weapon that produces Phlegm mist from its perforated head. It is a tool used in funeral rites, where priests swing the censer about as they circle the dead. This mist is one of calming nature, meant to soothe the essence of the deceased and ease their return to the cycle. It can also be used in mass during times of disorder and distress, so that the mist can calm the followers and help them find peace. Stronger variants are said to exist that are used to regain control over doubtful flocks or stop foes in their tracks with divine "epiphanies." It is also used by catacomb saints, who bring death to those who would disrespect this holy tomb.
6. Trikirion Pole - A staff of corpse wax candles burning with yellowflame, used for lighting, ceremony and, in a pinch, battle. These poles are often wielded by Wax Effigies, who stand at duty and on guard during ceremonies and act as watchers of the sacred halls. The light that comes from corpse wax candles is said to be blessed and bestow bathers in it with the wisdom and peace found in these past lives. If a threat to the Church enters, these burning poles can be used like spears to sear intruders. Variants with more or less candles exist.
7. Branch of Saints - A "blade" made entirely of corpse wax candles, molded into a seven branched "sword."The amount of corpse wax used in its creation makes it rare and divine, with claims that there are essences of saints held within. It is used in ceremony for the bestowing of sainthood and wielded in the moment of anointment. Higher ranked wax effigies hold and guard these tools, only allowed to give them to those of the right status. While it lacks a cutting edge, it can unleash slashes of yellowflame in a twirling fiery dance. Legends say that truly blessed believers of the Church can call upon the seven souls held within the yellowflame to aid them in a time of great need.
8. Mellified Axe - A sticky weapon that belongs to the Mellified Knights, defenders of the Church's eintykara hives. These are souls who gave themselves to the hives and allowed their bodies to be buried in the golden miren. Now they serve as eternal warriors, rising to destroy any who come to plunder this sacred place or threaten the eintykara. This weapon was once a simple axe, but has been coated in golden miren. The thick syrupy fluid has strengthened its bones and granted it divine properties. However, the coating has covered its edge, rendering it blunt as a hammer. Even then, it serves as a potent weapon, smashing through armor and using its sticky surface to snare blades and throw off foes. Weapons like these that are stolen from the Mellified Knights rarely last long, as outsiders care more about the caked on miren than they do some lousy blade.
9. Mortuary Blade - A bone rapier adorned with golden ornamentation and bearing a death mask of corpse wax. Though a handle is present to allow it to be wielded, Mortuary Blades are tools that fight for themselves. The face molded onto its hilt is that of a warrior who gave their flesh to the Church, so that they may defend the faith even after they passed. The corpse wax has infused into the blade, and its living essence allows the sword to wield itself. Mortuary blades can float and fly about, guided by the essence within the mask. These weapons are often placed in catacombs and sacred places in need of protection, so that they may come to life and skewer heretics who dare bring defilement. Nothing strengthens the faith of followers more than seeing the holy blades rise up on their own and strike down the wicked. Some warriors of the Church may carry mortuary blades with them, but rarely do they actually wield them, rather deploying them like familiars upon the battlefield.
10. Weight of Sin - A ceremonial weapon crafted from a large cleansed bezoar, the representation of sin. What once festered in the guts of the guilty has now become a holy tool to destroy evil. This weapon is often used by church hunters who specialize in eradicating Virilith, using its sheer weight and power to smash the stony abominations to pieces. It is also used in ceremony to destroy the Stones of Sin that are extracted from their broken bodies, ending their blight for good. The size and heft of this hammer makes it difficult to wield, but such struggles is said to be symbolic of the weight of duty tied to it, and how carrying faith into a battle against evil is never easy.
11. Anointed Flabellum - A fan of feathers crafted by the Church to ward away evil spirits and impure thoughts from both the living and the dead. With the colors of the Four Humors and the godly Ichor in its design, fanning it about is to push away these unseen evils. At times, the feathers will be dipped in a humor to spread its influence upon the wind. While mainly used in ceremony, it can be utilized as a weapon in a pinch. With a bit of energeiai, the anointed humor can be invigorated and turned into its element, creating infused gusts of wind to knock about foes. In some cases, these fans have been able to literally blow away evil souls from these holy places by sending them tumbling out the front door.

List Master Willem’s war crimes for the judge and jury, please!
Alright this is genuinely a good question! I'll start with a plain one:
1) Fishing Hamlet massacre is Willem's order
Sorry, Laurence only condoned two massacres, not three. xD We yet can see he did have a good teacher in more ways than one hfsdhffd And it is definitely not hard to guess what was the reasoning:
2) The OG grave-robber
Obscure lore because it is locked to an item most players never found as it's gathered through unlikely platformer. But yeah, he and his friends done it before Tomb Prospectors made it cool XD Furthermore, some Chalice Rituals materials are found within Byrgenwerth (Red Jelly, Pearl Slug).
Granted, since Gehrman and Maria are associated with Byrgenwerth and Old Hunter Vitus is a summon in the Dungeons, he could have rather used aid of the Old Hunters instead of terrorising leftovers of Pthumerian civilisation himself. Maybe what he and his friends did was simply checking! But in that case, bothering Pthumerians was still his order, similarly to Fishing Hamlet.
3) Something to do with the infants..
There are multiple fetuses found in Byrgenwerth, in two variants: a petrified one (a common sign of strong Arcane exposure) and a 'cursed' one (with horns and multiple tiny skulls):
This is a large room for speculation on whether they were somehow lab-grown, or kidnapped from the Dungeons... Or, maybe, they were forcibly conceived in test subjects? Commoners that live in the woods around Byrgenwerth, kidnapped Pthumerians, whatever. To "lighten" the mood, maybe volunteer scholars? In either case, something heavily unethical happened here. The reason MUST have been the Great Ones' infants umbilical cords:
We are fighting adolescent (?) version of OoK, whereas their real 'presence' that we sever to destroy the heart of the Nightmare is a much smaller form, so, very likely, OoK was stolen as an infant, from the womb of Kos, and his cord was retracted.
(Side note: it is not necessary that the cord Fauxsefka drops was stolen from Byrgenwerth, let alone that it was the cord of OoK specifically, since she only drops it after Bloodmoon. I think that either she got pregnant like Arianna, especially since she is a Vileblood too, or she was on her way to be reborn into a GO infant like Paleblood Hunter does in the New Beginnings ending! The latter is very possible since that ending is only accessible after eating 3 cords, so, after gaining a lot of Insight, which Fauxsefka does! Basically we don't know the fate of OoK's cord, but nonetheless it is likely that Willem still had it!)
4) Was Rom's fate his fault?
This is the potential one rather than apparent! There is a common assumption that he was experimenting on Rom, supported also by the fact that Byrgenwerth is the only place where Gardens of Eyes type of Kin are found (otherwise they're only found in generated Chalice Dungeons, so, "non canon" ones). Granted, there is a lot to talk about Amygdalae and Nightmare Apostles involvement with the 'Spiders', as well as Patches the Spider being in Byrgenwerth! Still:
Not an unreasonable assumption! Though it is up to interpretation whether Rom was forcibly experimented on, groomed by him to "agree" to it for greater good as Byrgenwerth is hardcore gatekeepers, volunteered herself, or did have that weird involvement with 'Spiders' and Willem simply utilised the (unwell) result by at least hiding it in the Lake. Another sidenote though is that by the game's events, Rom is THE person concealing Mensis Ritual, and Willem is the one to urge our Hunter to hunt her with his scepter!
youtube
(Backing this up because there might be people that didn't play BB yet since Sony hates fun and joy)
So I think whatever was his reason to hide her in the Moonside Lake was not Mensis Ritual; he did not see it coming back then, and now understands what has to be done to stop it! (Damn, this brings back memories, this issue was one of my very first loredigs...)
5) Willem secretly orchestrated the Choir?
This is the second potential one. Yurie was strangely titled The Last Scholar, and considering her spot, I can only think of the implication of her returning in the walls of Byrgenwerth! There is a secret cave in the woods (most likely the one Fauxsefka invaded from) that allowed communication with Byrgenwerth, as well as White Church Set is found in the Woods! And furthermore, Gatekeeper that guards the entrance to the Woods on the way in Byrgenwerth uses the adage coined in by Willem as the password, and adopted by the Healing Church!
From the looks of it, the way to Byrgenwerth was not only declared to be a forbidden area, but even hidden from the "lower rank" Healing Church staff, as Alfred says gatekeeper would not open. That'd mean he doesn't know the adage, when Amelia must be. Choir and School of Mensis are higher echelons of the Healing Church, and as you can see, Yurie(Choir) is an NPC there, whereas Damian(Mensis) is a summon there! My interpretation here is that communication with Byrgenwerth remained, just that Healing Church made effort to hide it so the unsightly, as Simon put it, secrets of their origins REMAIN secrets.
(For lyrics: ( x )) The petrified spider found in Altar of Grief IS possibly Rom! That theory could be easily discarded at the first glance because the legs don't match, but they do, as you can see from the holes in her Lake form! Lyrics of Ebrietas' song also seem to refer to Mensis Ritual, as if she knows what has to be done to stop it when she cherished Rom for one reason or another and cries at her "grave".
Willem could have had connection with Ebrietas from the start. And, hell, he should have pulled the biggest "told you so" face when Laurence's Healing Church first took a big route around to try and mess with the Deep Sea, and only through so many failed experiments decided to seek the guidance of the Stars instead, and find the 'right' way to aspire for ascension:
Myazaki please stop tormenting me enough is enough sfhdhfd So, the way things likely happened: Willem was able to tell 'Stars' was the way to go even before meeting Ebrietas in person, Laurence separated from Byrgenwerth to try out Blood Ministration when Willem already warned him it was dangerous, then his Healing Church had attempts to dive into Deep Sea for the eyes (if Micolash and Rom somehow had nothing to do with it I am suing everyone fdhfhds), then turned out patients are doing better seeking Stars (Lumenflowers balcony) and it even happens besides their will (Living Failures), they find Ebrietas and reform Research Hall into Choir/Orphanage, they focus on Eyes when Laurence favours Blood and Hunt more, they remember what Willem told them from the start and seek him, eventually people like Yurie and Rom return to their roots for the lack of better term. As for Fauxsefka, either 1) she returned with Yurie but then changed her mind on being a lazy fence-sitter and rage-quit 2) she invaded Byrgenwerth later on, after 'Choir's ways differed from Willem', might have stolen a cord from there but we don't know 3) she never even invaded and her story goes separately, but she IS from Choir's era of 'differing from Willem', that Yurie didn't catch onto.
...what I am saying, is that for all we know, experiments on the orphans and maybe-grooming Rom into sacrificing herself were under his doing, behind Laurence's back, even. Too bad that Micolash in the end turned out to be more cunning than EVERYONE in this scheme, but still, Willem could have played not the last role here! Poor Laurence, so ambitious yet so very dim.
____________________________
So yeah... This might not seem like much, especially as part of this is speculation, but I think this paints the picture of 'mad researcher' character that appears in basically every Soulsborne game at least once x) Laurence and Micolash maybe have created the main mess of the story, but even if they never existed, with Willem, there would be a lot of unethical experiments, a lot of extermination of "less intelligent" species, and a lot of dead infants! He is guilty not as much for teaching Laurence and, likely, Micolash (the boys still had their agency), but for just being himself lol. ROFL at the guy ordering to kill a pregnant mother and her baby and their worshippers in order to learn how to stop being barbaric as human beings fdjhhfdsds

Type of kisses prompt
First kiss: Queen Bee and Bunnyx + Ladybug and Kitty Noire after patrol.
Chloé was sitting on her bed painting Zoé's nails when her sister revealed something that caught her off guard.
"So... I kissed Ladybug after patrol."
"YOU WHAT?! Tell me EVERYTHING!!"
~~~~Yesterday Night~~~~
Ladybug and Kitty Noire had just finished dealing with some minor thieves after a patrol.
"Great job, Kitty! Same time tomorrow?"
"Absolutely!"
When Ladybug gets ready to swing away, Kitty Noire grabs her hand, gives her a quick kiss on the lips and leaves immediately after pulling away.
Not even waiting for LB to respond.
~~~~End of Flashback~~~~
Chloé couldn't hold back her laughter, but still managed to respond to her sister's story.
"So... you kissed her and RAN?!"
Zoé couldn't help the blush creeping up on her face!
"Oh yeah? How did YOUR first kiss with Bunnyx go?"
Chloé immediately stops laughing and begins to blush.
"Oh now I GOTTA hear this!"
"FINE! I'll tell you!"
~~~~Last Year~~~~
Bunnyx and Queen Bee were on their first mission together and QB seemed cool and calm, but she was actually coming up with a whole plan in her head.
'Okay Chloé, you can do this! Defeat anyone causing trouble tonight, impress Bunny-Kins, and kiss her before making an awesome exit. Easy!'
Queen Bee is snapped out of her thoughts when she hears Bunnyx's voice.
"QB! You okay?"
"Yep! Absolutely fine!"
"Better focus, there's a robbery in progress."
'This is my chance!'
Before Bunnyx could explain her plan, Queen Bee jumps down and immediately confronts the thieves.
"Stop right there-"
Queen Bee's immediately interrupted by the robbers' bullets being shot at her, which she quickly dodges and blocks with her spinning top.
While the robbers were focused on Queen Bee, Bunnyx opens burrows below them one at a time until they all ended up at the police station.
When Queen Bee stops spinning her weapon, Bunnyx hops out of a burrow in front of her.
"Great job distracting them, Queenie!~"
Bunnyx then gives Queen Bee a quick kiss on the lips before opening her Burrow and walking through it.
~~~~End of Flashback~~~~
Zoé just stared at her sister in shock.
"Why are you embarrassed by how the kiss happened?! You STILL managed to impress her."
Chloé hugs her pillow while whining.
"I wanted to Impress her AND make the first move!"

Not counting “must you continue to conquer in retaliation?”, what's your favorite Supreme Reply from Edelgard?
:)
I swear if I have the time, before the end of the year, I'll make a poll about it!
Anyways!
Supreme Replies are replies that demonstrate a several lack of awareness and thus, are utterly ridiculous (like the "no u" you've mentionned) and ultimately don't make any sense.
I found some in SB !
From SB's last chapter we have those :
Thales: Foolish harridan! This land you seek dominion over is drenched in the blood of beasts! Supreme Leader : Fool I may be, but I have plenty of company— my allies and I stand ready to trample you into the dust!
"wuzzat? Beasts ? Nah, I'll come back with a witty one-liner. "
Thales just revealed the plot/the secrets of Fodlan, but she dgaf.
Rhea You boast blood of the Hresvelgs and the heart of a traitor. Your sins run deeper than all others. Supreme Leader: I wear my sins proudly, for they are the reason I fight to free Fódlan from the goddess's so- called "judgment"!
"why is she always talking about Willy damn it. Let's give another witty comeback : I wear my sins proudly (wait does it means I'm proud to have slaughtered people to come here? Oh, I'll let Hubert deal with those details) for they are the reason i fight to free Fodlan from the Goddess's so called jugdment (wait does it make sense? I slaughter people because this slaughter is the reason why I fight? to free Fodlan from your ilk? Couldn't I have said I kill people to free Fodlan from you kin? Oh! I know, I could have said I kill people to liberate Fodlan, like my idol Nemesis! I'll have Hubert give a revamped script to Dorothea to add this line in the opera she's going to play in depicting this scene.)"
SB's chapter 4 :
Rhea : Explain yourself! Why do you betray the teachings of the goddess and seek to shatter Fódlan's fragile peace? Supreme Leader : Seeing as I have no idea what you speak of, this is going to be a short discussion. Now either stand aside or face me!
"Peace? What is that? Can I let Labrunda do the talking instead?"
(That's all for Nopes, but if you found some other replies, let me know!)
From FE16:
So you're another of the goddess's vanguard. You don't have even a shred of self-awareness, do you?
Okay, in itself, this isn't a Supreme Reply - but you realise that in the same map Petra calls herself "the will of the Emperor" forgetting her allegiance to Brigid and the current situation... who lacks self-awareness?
A special one that doesn't come from a Battle :
Claude There's only one goal for grave robbers like these. Right, Flame Emperor? You're here to steal the treasure that rests within the Holy Tomb. Flamey For a fool, you catch on quickly. Those Crest Stones will be ours. That infernal power, which is masquerading as a medicine but is truly a poison, will plague this world no longer.
She insults Claude who only asks a question, and the mumbo-jumbo about medicine and poison - but I want to disqualify it, because the mumbo-jumbo that would qualify as a Supreme Reply is a lolcalisation goof to avoid sheding more light as how Flamey actually wants to use those stones laying uselessly there "neither medicine or poison" aka who could either be used to do good things, or bad things.
of course when we know what they are, we know they are not "uselessly" laying there :)
-
Edit thanks to @ezralahm!
The barbarian : Do you not believe in the power of the people to join together and rise up? Humans are weak creatures. But they are also creatures who help each other, support each other, and together, find the right path. I have learned that humans are capable of all that from the professor...and from everyone in my life. Supreme Leader : I doubt a highborn person like yourself could know how the poor feel or what motivates them.
"Do you believe in the power of friendship? If everyone works together, we're able to support each other and find a path to happiness!"
"As if highborn person like you can know what the illiterate masses - I mean, the poor, feel. But I obviously know what they feel and want, because I am not a highbor- wait let me rephrase that - Oh, alright, shut it, agree to disagree and etc etc, let me get away with my dignity intact, thank you".
And :
Random Peon : Here...you can have this! Just please don't attack the city! Supreme Leader : I never planned to touch the city. Our target is the Alliance and their leader, Claude.
"Hubert, why can't they understand? I don't want to raze their city, I want to destroy their country and get rid of their Leader! It's not the same!
"Maybe that lowlife thinks we are going to destroy Derdriu just like we destroyed Garreg Mach when we invaded it?"
"Silly Hubert, why would that useless man think so?"
-
But we all know CF is where the majority of the Supreme Replies come from !
Here :
Rhea : You must know what a fool you are. The greatest of sins is to make an enemy of the goddess herself! Supreme Leader : I have only made an enemy of the church, not of the faith.
"Wait- did she call me a fool?"
Besides, we all know what Supreme Leader thinks of the faith (she even apparently changes her pov only after talking to Manu), so this is basically... talking to say nothing.
I prefer the SB version, tbh!
Then this (it doesn't really count though, since it's not a "reply"!)
Lysithea. How unfortunate that a talented woman like you should throw her life away on a pointless battle.
"I hope she won't hold it against me when I tell her defending her home and country is pointless."
That chapter we all know and love (i know, no "no u"!)
Rhea : An ancestor of the Hresvelgs, who became Adrestia's first emperor… He saved me. Supported me. Gave his all to the cause of defeating Nemesis. That I should find myself here at Tailtean, striking down his scion… Supreme Leader : I don't advise presumptions, Rhea. I will not die by your hand.
"Why the fuck is she still raving about Willy. I know, he was stupid and dumb and saved it instead of letting it die. I know all of that! Stupid Willy. Anyways, I'll just cut her saying something cool."
In itself, that line isn't material prime to be a Supreme Reply. However, by the time you reach this penultimate chapter, Supreme Leader's feelings about Nabateans have been made clear (either in her sekrit history talk, or in both of her and Hubert's supports), they are creatures incapable of having human feelings, and later on, she textually says they are beasts who don't give a fig about human lives.
So here, Rhea angsting about Willy contradicts what she thinks, a Nabatean can have "human" feelings like sadness and regrets. But instead on focusing on those, or even saying some stuff like "yeah sure you miss my stupid ancestor because he was a pawn you manipulated, beast!", she only focuses on the witty "i will not die here" part.
Supreme Leader : So it's true. You don't value human life at all. Isn't that right, Immaculate One? Rhea : Nonsense! Fools who do not accept their own sins are undeserving of salvation! You humans are the ones who betrayed! You betrayed me, and you betrayed my mother! Supreme Leader : I did not betray you or her. I never believed in you from the beginning.
(the never believed in "you" is a lolcalisation change? In the JP version, it feels like she is more general, and says she never believed in the beginning)
"Rhea : you betrayed me and my mother the goddess"
"Supreme Leader : your mother isn't real"
Again, when the opportunity presents itself to discover more about Fodlan and what Rhea means by betrayal - but more important is Supreme Leader's "I never believed from the beginning", like, what is even the link with the betrayal Rhea's raving about? When you betray someone, it's because that someone put their trust in you, right? So Rhea is saying she trusted humanity - Supreme Leader says in reply that she never believed in Rhea, but that's like trying to fit a circle in a square - where's the link?
"You betrayed me" "I never trusted you" "uh.. yes but I did? This is why I'm calling you a traitor? Because you spat on my trust?"
----
To be honest, I'd say I prefer the last one !
She centers the conversation on herself, dodges the implications of what her foe is saying, the line is nonsensical and wants to feel cool and we have the bonus "retcon" : she never believed in the CoS and its faith to begin with (when apparently she did in her support, she prayed when she was Solon'd?).
So I'd say, for the podium :
1 "Your mother isn't real"
2 "What is peace?"
3 "No U" / "I'm stupid but I have allies!"
What are yours anon?
#anon#replies#fodlan nonsense#nopes nonsense#I know I missed a lot of replies :(#but damn that game doesn't have a lot of boss quotes!#if you anon or anyone who wants to play finds other lines then don't hesitate to tell me!#It's the Supreme Replies game lol

Chatbots Are Primed to Warp Reality
A growing body of research shows how AI can subtly mislead users—and even implant false memories.
More and more people are learning about the world through chatbots and the software’s kin, whether they mean to or not. Google has rolled out generative AI to users of its search engine on at least four continents, placing AI-written responses above the usual list of links; as many as 1 billion people may encounter this feature by the end of the year. Meta’s AI assistant has been integrated into Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram, and is sometimes the default option when a user taps the search bar. And Apple is expected to integrate generative AI into Siri, Mail, Notes, and other apps this fall. Less than two years after ChatGPT’s launch, bots are quickly becoming the default filters for the web.
Yet AI chatbots and assistants, no matter how wonderfully they appear to answer even complex queries, are prone to confidently spouting falsehoods—and the problem is likely more pernicious than many people realize. A sizable body of research, alongside conversations I’ve recently had with several experts, suggests that the solicitous, authoritative tone that AI models take—combined with them being legitimately helpful and correct in many cases—could lead people to place too much trust in the technology. That credulity, in turn, could make chatbots a particularly effective tool for anyone seeking to manipulate the public through the subtle spread of misleading or slanted information. No one person, or even government, can tamper with every link displayed by Google or Bing. Engineering a chatbot to present a tweaked version of reality is a different story.
. . .
As the election approaches, some people will use AI assistants, search engines, and chatbots to learn about current events and candidates’ positions. Indeed, generative-AI products are being marketed as a replacement for typical search engines—and risk distorting the news or a policy proposal in ways big and small. Others might even depend on AI to learn how to vote. Research on AI-generated misinformation about election procedures published this February found that five well-known large language models provided incorrect answers roughly half the time—for instance, by misstating voter-identification requirements, which could lead to someone’s ballot being refused.
. . .
The idea was to see if a witness could be led to say a number of false things about the video, such as that the robbers had tattoos and arrived by car, even though they did not. The resulting paper, which was published earlier this month and has not yet been peer-reviewed, found that the generative AI successfully induced false memories and misled more than a third of participants—a higher rate than both a misleading questionnaire and another, simpler chatbot interface that used only the same fixed survey questions.
More at the link.

Very interesting article, but warning for a gif that I think will bother photosensitive readers at the top.

As many of you know, I am currently working through a Shadowheart origin run with Minthara as my only companion. I recently just wrapped up Act I and I just kinda wanted to write about the story so far, cause ya'll know I like telling stories.
WARNING: this gets pretty long. Again, it's a story. But I did include some pictures! Also, some things are gonna be a little outta character and involve my own head canons as I try to fill in the gaps of what isn't directly said in the game.
PRETEXT
Since I had done the Shadowheart origin twice before, I wasn't so strict with certain RP aspects. So, I reclassed her from the beginning to be a Gloomstalker / War Cleric as at the beginning of the game, spell slots were just a little too expensive for her to be a full cleric and she's not really good in melee once those slots run out. But, the build was still semi lore accurate. I also used 1 hireling through the duration of Act I and was playing on Explorer, more so for gameplay reasons though. Narratively, it was just Shadow by herself and things were kinda tough.
THE BEGINNING
After the Nautiloid had crashed and Shadow woke up on the beach, she remembered the mission that she had been given to her by her Mother Superior. She double checks her pack to be sure that the Prism is still secure, which it is, thankfully. But, she has to get movin and groovin. Her mission was a success! But she lost all her comrades. Right now, she is in a strange land who may not be so friendly to Sharrans. So, the first thing she decides is to keep an eye out for a change of clothes to quickly get rid of her Sharran armor and to find a healer for the worm in her skull.
She stumbles into an ancient crypt where there are a few bandits and robbers. She was able to persuade the ones outside the crypt to leave, but the ones inside the crypt weren't so much in a talkative mood. It was a tough fight for her by herself, but she managed to survive. She continues deeper into the crypt to find an old statue to Jergel. What an interesting place for the memory of this god to be!
She walks into a closed off room where she accidentally awakens the dead. Again, another tough fight, but much easier than fighting the robbers and bandits. At least the dead are allergic to holy magic! Once they are killed off, she enters further and meets an interesting skeleton, Withers! After joining the camp, Shadow immediately talks to him for a respec into a Gloomstalker War Cleric of Shar.
She continues on her journey and comes across a pair of tieflings who have a gith trapped in a cage. She knows this gith. It was the one who helped her on the Nautiloid. She knows the gith would surely be angry for her stealing the Prism from her kin and Shadow cannot risk losing it. She convinces the tieflings that this gith is dangerous and she joins them in killing it. Good riddance!
THE GROVE
She continues forward and comes across another challenging situation. A grove is being attacked by a pack of goblins. She has no idea why this fight is going on, but goblins are goblins. She knows they are a threat. She really wants nothing to do with this situation as it isn't her problem. But, there is no other way forward except to fight, so fight she does.
After killing the goblins, she is promptly invited into the grove in which they direct her to Nettie, a healer. She talks to some of the merchants there and purchases new gear so she can finally be rid of her Sharran armor and hide her identity. Thankfully, no one in this grove recognizes the symbols.
Unfortunately, Nettie was of no help to her and directed her to some goblin camp to find the Archdruid Halsin. Shadow groans on the inside, but she needs a healer. As much as she sympathizes with the plight of the tieflings, she has greater priorities right now and this conflict with the goblins and druids just isn't her concern.
But, Shadow is a bit of a meta gamer and decides that the goblin camp will be the last place she travels to. Instead, she goes everywhere else. While ignoring the goblin camp and the situation in the grove, she has gone on many misadventures where she:
Fought on owlbear
Cleared out the Blighted Village of its goblin infestation
Traveled to the Risen Road
Helped some Zhent traders in a Gnoll attack
Rescued Councellor Florrick and learned of the fate of Grand Duke Ulder Ravengard
Discovered a hidden Zhent basement
Traveled to the Underdark
Helped a colony of sentient mushrooms with a duegar infestation
Killed a bulette
Met the great god BOOOAL
Killed a Spectator
Traveled to Grymforge
Freed Nere and took his head
Killed some duegar slavers and freed some gnome slaves
Fought Grym
Killed a Phase Spider Queen
Defeated Ethel
Killed Wood Woad and learned of the Shadow Druids
Confronted Kagha, but she would not back down so Shadow had to kill her and the hostile druids.
Girl has managed to do quite a bit by herself. By now, she is confident that no one around recognizes the symbols of Shar, despite those symbols being literally everywhere in the region for some unknown reason. So, she decides to wear an upgraded version of her armor that she found in Grymforge as it provides better protection for her.
With nothing left to do, it is now time to enter into the goblin camp.
THE GROVE RAID
At some point, she returns back to free Sazza cause she's just tired of fighting and wants an easy way into the camp. She sneaks the goblin out of the grove in which she is safely escorted into the goblin camp. She walks in saying to herself that she is only interested in a healer and Halsin is her priority. As much as she would want to help the tieflings, she is not getting involved in this conflict! That is, until she met Nightwarden Minthara.
Unfortunately, Sazza spilled the beans and told Minthara where the grove was and now the drow wants to recruit Shadow into joining. Of course Shadow has her reservations. They were innocent tieflings and Minthara means to kill them all. But, from Shadow's standpoint, everything was stacked against her. She did not want to play any part in killing the tieflings and was tempted to warn them that Minthara was coming. But Minthara had an army, was backed by a very powerful god who seems to have the ability of mind control, may potentially provide some insight into the worm situation, and well, the dream guardian told Shadow to infiltrate the cult. She also grew increasingly anxious over Minthara's intense desire to retrieve the Prism, the very thing keeping Shadow safe from the Absolute, turning into a mind flayer, and is the one thing she was tasked with returning to Baldur's Gate. She could not risk Minthara taking the Prism from her.
Being trained in the art of espionage, Shadow teams up with Minthara to get a ticket into the cult, especially since Shadow alone couldn't possibly fight against Minthara's goblin warband and she did not have the confidence that the tieflings could either. Not to mention, Shadow can easily evade Minthara's inquisition about the Prism if Shadow presented herself as an ally. At this point, she has abandoned her search into Halsin as it is clear he is Minthara's enemy due to him being Archdruid of the grove and Shadow needs Minthara to think they are on the same side.
Rolling open the gates at the grove made Shadow feel ill to her stomach. But, she knows that this is something her Dark Lady would have wanted. Either way, the tieflings were going to die by Minthara's hand, that was a guarantee. Better to help Minthara and guide the tieflings into embracing their inevitable deaths than to be amongst one of Minthara's casualties where no one would remember her.
After the raid, Shadow just felt horrible and awful. For a brief moment, her indoctrination breaks and the real her slips out. The tieflings were innocent and didn't deserve this. She could have helped, she should have helped. But Minthara reassures her that she is on the right path and she is loved by god Herself. Minthara may have been talking about the Absolute, but Shadow knows Shar approves of her actions today. But the guilt just wouldn't leave and continues to gnaw at her conscious.
Feeling pretty damn horny excited after the raid and the glory to come, Minthara pulls Shadow into the the chapel to celebrate the festivities together. Shadow is more than willing as she'd rather fuck the feelings away or she'd otherwise drink them away. And Minthara certainly helps Shadow by having her feel a wide array of things that aren't guilt. Such as [REDACTED] where Minthara [REDACTED] and then she did this thing with her tongue and [REDACTED]. At some point during the activities, Minthara realizes Shadow's face is very soft and would make an excellent chair, and so she [REDACTED].
Afterwards, the two have a little heart to heart and Shadow sees a side to Minthara that she didn't expect to see. Up until now, she saw Minthara as a monster, some "genocidal lunatic" who probably should have been knocked out in the goblin camp. But, right now, she sees someone who seems genuinely pensive, doubtful, and very much unsure of herself. And, well, who was Shadow to judge. She stood right next to Minthara, participating in the death of the tieflings. If Minthara was a monster, then so was she.
In the middle of the night, Shadow is awakened in her sleep by an overwhelming sensation of an impending murder! She looks up to see Minthara standing above her, ready to kill her. But Minthara gets a little shy and backs away. She explains her doubts and her fears to Shadow and why she perceives her to be a threat to the Absolute. Right now, Minthara is desperate to believe that her perception of Shadow is false. It really does not take too much for Shadow to clear her of any doubts.
Feeling that she is worthy of the Absolute's embrace, Minthara gives Shadow her lyre and a path to Moonrise and the two split up to meet again later. And Minthara sure does hope that she sees Shadow again. After everything that the two just did together in that chapel? Yeah, the half-elf better fucking come back to her. Minthara has plans!
Thanks for reading my story! Currently working through Act 2 right now. Will update the story once I completely finish with the act, but I will post my little mini updates from time to time.

Jon is said to be called black heart bastard in books. Besides him Rhaegar, Jaime, Bronn and Brown Ben Plumm are mention to have black hearts. Melisandre told Davos that Others also have black heart. Do you think it's implying about treachery and duplicity in these characters?
Oh, let's do it the old-fashioned way and just check out Every Single Mention! :)
One thing that stands out is that the black heart is usually assigned in an accusatory manner by a different character, so the connotation to treachery or cruelty is definitely an in-universe trope, while at the same time creating some fun parallels between those so described.
Black hearts a-plenty. Lots of quotes.
"Rhaegar … Rhaegar won, damn him. I killed him, Ned, I drove the spike right through that black armor into his black heart, and he died at my feet. They made up songs about it. Yet somehow he still won. (AGOT, Eddard X)
-> Dead, yet triumphant. An armored heart.
So many dead, so very many. Their corpses hung limply, their faces slack or stiff or swollen with gas, unrecognizable, hardly human. The garments the sisters took from them were decorated with black hearts, grey lions, dead flowers, and pale ghostly stags. (ACOK, Tyrion XV)
-> A sigil worn by the dead.
Styr scowled. "His heart may still be black."
"Then cut it out." (ASOS, Jon II)
-> A mark of treachery. In need of killing.
"So tell me, Ser Davos Seaworth, and tell me truly—does your heart burn with the shining light of R'hllor? Or is it black and cold and full of worms?" [...] It is well you did not lie to me. I would have known. The Other's servants oft hide black hearts in gaudy light, so R'hllor gives his priests the power to see through falsehoods." She stepped lightly away from the cell. "Why did you mean to kill me?" (ASOS, Davos III)
-> Treacherous, in opposition to fire, with ill intent.
"Why? Is it your fault that Bronn's an insolent black-hearted rogue? He's always been an insolent black-hearted rogue. That's what I liked about him." (ASOS, Tyrion IX)
-> A mark of disloyalty.
Ser Brynden laughed again. "Much as I would welcome the chance to take that golden sword away from you and cut out your black heart, your promises are worthless. I would gain nothing from your death but the pleasure of killing you, and I will not risk my own life for that . . . as small a risk as that may be." (AFFC, Jaime VI)
-> A mark of treachery. In need of killing.
Jon felt as stiff as a man of sixty years. Dark dreams, he thought, and guilt. His thoughts kept returning to Arya. There is no way I can help her. I put all kin aside when I said my words. If one of my men told me his sister was in peril, I would tell him that was no concern of his. Once a man had said the words his blood was black. Black as a bastard's heart. (ADWD, Jon VI)
-> A mark of treachery (against his family) caused by torn loyalty (between the Watch and the Starks).
"Ser Grandfather knows how to count. The Second Sons have gone over to the Yunkai'i." Daario turned his head and spat. "That's for Brown Ben Plumm. When next I see his ugly face I will open him from throat to groin and rip out his black heart." (ADWD, Daenerys VI)
-> A mark of treachery. In need of killing.
A horn of mead was never far from his hand, so the spittle he sprayed when making threats was sweet with honey. He called Jon Snow a craven, a liar, and a turncloak, cursed him for a black-hearted buggering kneeler, a robber, and a carrion crow, accused him of wanting to fuck the free folk up the arse. Twice he flung his drinking horn at Jon's head, though only after he had emptied it. (ADWD, Jon XI)
-> Variety! An unrelenting negotiator with high demands who cannot be moved. Treacherous only in the expectations of generosity placed on him, not in true falseness.
Ghost came racing from the gate. Tormund's horse shied so hard that the wildling almost lost his saddle. "Naught to be feared?" Jon said. "Ghost, stay."
"You are a black-hearted bastard, Lord Crow." Tormund Horn-Blower lifted his own warhorn to his lips. The sound of it echoed off the ice like rolling thunder, and the first of the free folk began to stream toward the gate. (ADWD, Jon XII)
-> Same as above: Unrelenting, intimidating, stern.
Bonus Black-heartedness:
The Hoares
The west coast of the North has also oft been beset by reavers, and several of the Hungry Wolf's wars were forced upon him when longships out of Great Wyk, Old Wyk, Pyke, and Orkmont descended upon his western coasts beneath the banners of Harrag Hoare, King of the Iron Islands. For a time the Stony Shore did fealty to Harrag and his ironmen, swathes of the wolfswood were nothing but ashes, and Bear Island was a base for reaving, ruled by Harrag's black-hearted son, Ravos the Raper. (The World of Ice and Fire - The North: The Kings of Winter)
Archmaester Hake tells us that the kings of House Hoare were, "black of hair, black of eye, and black of heart." Their foes claimed their blood was black as well, darkened by the "Andal taint," for many of the early Hoare kings took maidens of that ilk to wife. True ironborn had salt water in their veins, the priests of the Drowned God proclaimed; the black-blooded Hoares were false kings, ungodly usurpers who must be cast down. (The World of Ice and Fire - The Iron Islands: The Black Blood)
-> A mark of cruelty as well as treachery and illegitimacy. In need of killing. (Historically opposed to the dragons.)
The Heart of Old Volantis
Who built it? When? Why? Most maesters accept the common wisdom that declares it to be of Valyrian construction, for its massive walls and labyrinthine interiors are all of solid rock, with no hint of joins or mortar, no chisel marks of any kind, a type of construction that is seen elsewhere, most notably in the dragonroads of the Freehold of Valyria, and the Black Walls that protect the heart of Old Volantis. (The World of Ice and Fire - The Reach: Oldtown)
They must have a library in Old Volantis, surely. I may find a better copy there, if I can find a way inside the Black Walls to the city's heart. (ADWD, Tyrion IV)
One looked toward the Long Bridge and the black-walled heart of Old Volantis across the river. (ADWD, Tyrion VII)
-> A black heart may simply be armored in black, protecting what is within.
So a black heart does, indeed, indicate treachery and duplicity, mortal animosity, often in opposition to a fire-related enemy. It can also indicate illegitimacy, and it carries a strong connotation with death, though in the case of Ben Plumm it is survival he champions. It may indicate a "wall" or "armor" around the true intentions of the heart, similarly to a metaphorical Wall of Ice.
Honorable mention: Dark Heart
One spoke with the timbre of a child. The floating heart pulsed from dimness to darkness. [...] Perched above her, the dragon spread his wings and tore at the terrible dark heart, ripping the rotten flesh to ribbons, and when his head snapped forward, fire flew from his open jaws, bright and hot. (ACOK, Daenerys IV)
-> In opposition to Daenerys and her dragons.
The dwarf woman studied her with dim red eyes. "I see you," she whispered. "I see you, wolf child. Blood child. I thought it was the lord who smelled of death . . ." She began to sob, her little body shaking. "You are cruel to come to my hill, cruel. I gorged on grief at Summerhall, I need none of yours. Begone from here, dark heart. Begone!" (ASOS, Arya VIII)
-> A child. A wolf child. A dark heart.
Or, interestingly distinct: Heart of Darkness
At her command, one produced an iron key. The door opened, hinges shrieking. Daenerys Targaryen stepped into the hot heart of darkness and stopped at the lip of a deep pit. Forty feet below, her dragons raised their heads. Four eyes burned through the shadows—two of molten gold and two of bronze. (ADWD, Daenerys II)
-> Where dragons dwell.
Most sinister of all the sorcerers of Asshai are the shadowbinders, whose lacquered masks hide their faces from the eyes of gods and men. They alone dare to go upriver past the walls of Asshai, into the heart of darkness. On its way from the Mountains of the Morn to the sea, the Ash runs howling through a narrow cleft in the mountains, between towering cliffs so steep and close that the river is perpetually in shadow, save for a few moments at midday when the sun is at its zenith. In the caves that pockmark the cliffs, demons and dragons and worse make their lairs. The farther from the city one goes, the more hideous and twisted these creatures become...until at last one stands before the doors of the Stygai, the corpse city at the Shadow's heart, where even the shadowbinders fear to tread. Or so the stories say. (The World of Ice and Fire - The Bones and Beyond: Asshai-by-the-Shadow)
-> A place of demons, dragons "and worse". A place of corpses. Marked by the run of a river named Ash, a city named Stygai. Truly stygian.
Far be in from me to cast aspersions (Lies, I love casting those.) but given that Jon is associated with the term most frequently, I'd suspect he will end up playing a role in opposition to a fire-related enemy, who will want him dead, guarding his heart's true intentions behind a black armor and plotting with ill intent. Perhaps accused of trying to be a usurper, perhaps accused of demanding too much, perhaps trying to reconcile a taint in his blood with his loyalty to the Starks.

~ February 2024 Prompt ~ Patrolling the territory Much of The SIlent Hand's current territory is remote, but danger can still come from all sides, and patrols throughout the territory on occasion should be crucial if the group is to gain a foothold here. Depict or rp your character patrolling through the woods, fields, or outskirts of the towns on Bree-Land. Are they with a partner? Alone? Did they find something?
Mardyth checking out the thickest parts of the Chetwood. Wary as ever. Originally from Esgaroth rebuilt, became a robber in the ruins of Annuminas, then moved to Bree-Land to become leader of a brigand group.
For my rp kin's every other month prompt special :)

♛ HELLO, AND WELCOME TO THE PLACE WHERE SHAMEFUL STATEMENTS AND ODDITY GATHER TO DANCE AND FLUTTER AND CREATE A SCINTILLATING CRINGE, WORTHY OF A LIFETIME OF REDDIT KARMA! ♛
My name's AXYER! But over here, you may call me Heart or Chimney. :)
I should clarify, I'm wording everything on this blog as carefully as I possibly can, if I am uneducated please politely re-inform me! I am likely just uneducated and I promise you I will easily change my mind if you correct me!!!
I personally see kinning in the otherkin sense and the relate-to sense as two separate things; personally, I feel like there should be a term to separate the two better, as I understand that otherkin is a DISTINCT experience from simply relating to a character in a way that you see yourself as them; as such, in my Carrd and here please do not mind the term "kinning" being used for the latter, I am very open to a better term being used as I wish to respect everyone I can, and I find "relate kinning" can be very beneficial to someone, but deserves to be classified as something distinct.
Synpaths. The term you're looking for is synpaths, Axon.
Personally, identifying as an otherkin is a means for me to cope. Nope, you're Heart Axon, in the flesh. You are just him. It's okay, you were taking baby steps.
I don't see myself as Heart in a past life nor Heart spiritually in-general, rather that I am something along the lines of Heart reduced to a human form, or something like that, but do use them as an integral part of my identify and identify as it for personal reasons.
Update to this ^^^^ I identify as an alternate universe of a villain version of Heart, in some sort of Tumblr ask blog-multifandom-palooza-type deal. I am Heart, just an AU of him where he's human and everything's just slightly off and he desperately wants to be himself again because he knows he needs to be.
I might also vent on this blog, so just be mindful!! (Update: trying not to anymore)
My kintypes:
-Idkin, ids are a fictional species that are essentially parasitic organisms that parallel the Host species and have lots of bizarre inhuman qualities! (update: kinda????? It's weird)
-Heartkin, goes hand-in-hand with idkin, I identify as Heart from Chonny's Charming Chaos Compendium! I think of myself as an alternate universe version of my AU version of Heart from Untitled Chonny Jash AU. :)
(NOTE: THOSE WHO IDENTIFY AS HEART IN ANY WAY DNI PLEASE! I WILL BRING THIS UP A LOT I AM NOT COMFY WITH OTHER HEARTKINS AND I WILL BLOCK YOU FOR MY OWN WELLBEING! IT'S NOTHING PERSONAL, TRUST ME!)
-The Robber from Ain't No Rest For the Wicked (Chonny Jash's version), this kinda goes hand-in-hand with being Heart as they're kinda blended into one kintype for me. I liked to rob people lots and be evil lots.
-Stick figurekin, a very popular fictional species dictated by skinny bodies, really long legs, shoe feet, and a love for art and fighting!
-Grimmchildkin, I like to think of myself as a Grimmchild that's "human" form is Heart! Or, alternatively, Heart's "furry" form as Grimmchild!
My DNI is right here!! (epic dead link fail) If I follow you first, you're free to interact :) (with few exceptions). Obviously don't interact if you're against otherkin/kinning, and DNI whatsoever if you identify as/with any character from a certain stick figure comic with a black stick figure with lightning tendrils that torments a sad white stick figure with a tie, DNI if you're just a fan of it period, and ABSOLUTELY DNI if you ship said black stick figure with the tie stick figure or his brother, like omg get out you're disgusting.
Also DNI if you or any part of you identify as Heart, just a personal reference! However, PLEAAAAAAAASE interact if you identify as/with Soul or Mind, or even Looks to the Moon from Rain World! They're all massive comforts to me, and I would be overjoyed to interact with any of you! (edit: Hollow Knight kins also please! Especially Ghost, Grimm, or White Lady!!)
Oh, and Nightmarionne kinnies too…… he's been a big comfort to me for a weawwy long time, I just love imagining him as a robo-dilf.
I'd prefer it if only I interacted with fictionkins/otherhearted of these characters interacted rather than any other type of identification, just a personal preference and yk wanting to stay with people I can relate to.

Finally updated this during August of 2024. I've discovered lots more about my identity since then. I hope to be less pandery-to-people-in-fear-I'm-kinning-wrong now.

ive got a hunger for roleplaying again. anyone up for playing 1 to 2 sessions of robber's kin? not mandatory that you show up to both sessions. timeframe sometime within the next 6 weeks, probably weekends european evening time american afternoon time. played over discord in my little ttrpg server.
robbers kin is a belonging outside belonging game (no dice no gm only tokens) about nature childhood living outside the law. its based on hit childrens book ronja robbersdaughter that i was OBSESSED with at the tender age of 5. nothing scares me more than a harpy to this day
mutuals who want to join of course get preferential treatment >:3 but anyone is welcome to shoot me a message even if we dont follow each other and have never talked before.

15 Dialogue Lines!
Tagged by @druckkugelschreiber ! Thank youuuu, I love being tagged in things, even though I am always so slow with filling out the memes, and am too awkward to tag people back!
The prompt was: Share 15 or fewer lines of dialogue from an OC, ideally lines that capture the character/personality/vibe of the OC. Bonus points for just using the dialogue without other details about the scene, but you're free to include those as well!
I chose my forever gal Yvie! She's a half-dwarf, half-elf, so I tag her as Lavellan for convenience. The lines are mostly sourced from just a couple of fics bc I have not actually posted a lot of written content about her! (I had some now-deleted fics about Yvie-like OCs I've since scrapped, but they need to be reworked!).
Imagine all of this spoken with a French accent, because Yvie is, in fact, Orlesian (but from a rural area rather than Val Royeaux; there may be some communication issues when she uses her village's dialect around Vivienne, who is a very studious non-native speaker with impeccable knowledge of the standard Orlesian, as prescribed by the Fantasy Académie Française).
"I heard some Chantry sermons from the humans in my hometown, but I don’t remember the part where Andraste cooked meals for the Maker"
"You see someone half the human height, with ears to match, and your mind instantly jumps back and forth between 'servant' and 'smuggler'… And yet humans are not so quick to let either of my kin learn a trade, no?"
"It is never gratifying to kill people — not for me! I am a gardener, not a warrior"
"My eldest sister joined the Grey Wardens many years ago... After the Fifth Blight ended and the Hero of Ferelden vanished, Empress Celene sent her to Amaranthine, to rebuild. And I ran away from home, all the way from Orlais, to visit her. I was still so young back then, and I thought it was going to be some grand adventure, but — but instead, I saw the darkspawn come back."
"Créateur! Of course I won’t punish you!"
"There is nothing wrong about loving a monster... And trust me, nobody wishes Corypheus was worthy of love more than me."
"I looked into his eyes when he tried to pry the Mark from my hand. I saw how much he had suffered. I saw the pain of wanting to find his gods, to discover, perhaps, what he truly meant to them, to the world; what meaning his life could have… Only to find a cold, indifferent silence."
"[The Architect] is a friend of my sister’s... I met him once, a year after the Fifth Blight."
"I could not fathom what all the fuss was back then. Why would silly Julie fall for [Loghain] a man twenty years her senior, who'd been the archnemesis of her predecessor? But it seems like a weakness for villains runs in the Kader family."
"Experimental nug breeding facilitator. Formulated at the request of Lady Nightingale. Handle with care. Effects on humanoids may be adverse"
"I shared my family’s fruit preserve recipe with [Flissa], though there’s not much fruit to choose from, with snow everywhere!"
"The dwarf side of my family was lucky to start a fruit orchard on the surface instead of getting sucked into the Carta."
"Do you know how flimsy the locks are in here? Before the cells started filling up, I would watch Sera — who is a friend, by the way; do not be hard on her — pick them for sport!"
"I am sorry. In the future... When the Elder One had taken over the world... I — I had to kill you."
"I cannot stop thinking about why every highway robber I 'take care of' chose to do what they did."
