Throwback to... 2021 when Netflix released a promo for R.L. Stine's Fear Street that included a small Are You Afraid of the Dark? crossover.

Fear Street had been released during the summer, but Still Watching Netflix re-upped its ads during October featuring members of the Midnight Society to tell the tale.

* the application benjamin flores jr's character is chatting on uses the calibri font. the plot takes place in 1994, yet this font was not introduced until 2007.

* in certain parts of the film, josh says: "up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, start", that sequence is the famous konami code. it’s a cheat code used by video game players in order to gain special powers during a game made by the company konami. the first known use of this code was in the game gradius (1985).
