Took a small break from this corner of the internet to adjust to some changes happening in grad school. It’s getting weird, and there’s really no other way to put it. I’m trying to spend more time outside with my books to try and counteract the fight or flight response and honestly? It’s helping a lot. And just LOOK at that atlas moth!!!

👽 On days when I feel particularly off, I like to take a walk in my favorite park and sit on a bench to read, draw, or just be surrounded by nature for a little bit. Living the way that humans do now, I forget that we're nature-creatures just as much as the birds and the bugs and the squirrels. I don't have anything more profound to say than that, except for to take care of the environment around you! Learn from the Indigenous peoples on how to be good stewards of this beautiful land, and incorporate environmental care practices into the everyday. That way we can all enjoy our favorite reading trees for many years to come. 🖤

Visited the cutest little all pink trailer while on a short weekend getaway and my GOODNESS, I am in love. It's giving Pink Pony Club? Girly Pop? All of the fun descriptors. Listen, I'm a goth through and through. But that doesn't mean I don't love some pink!!
