I haven’t entirely nailed down their dynamic yet. They’re old man Yaoi tho. I can see them balancing each other out. Bob helping SMG1 live on the edge a little and SMG1 encouraging Bob to do less illegal stuff.

When they started hanging out, Bob probably found SMG1 boring at first but then after living in the chaos that is his daily life, coming back to SMG1 at the end of the day to just relax and read or spend time together would be really nice.

I also love the idea that they just hang out bc they enjoy each other’s company and I could see something growing from that. We’re apparently gonna get a Medi fan episode about the two tho so we’ll see what their dynamic is really like in the show.

Chris x Swag:

Ohhhh boy I love this one!! I thought for a while about what their dynamic could be. I thought that maybe Chris is Swag’s side piece since he’s married to Sonic but after seeing Swag and Sonic’s relationship, I’ve come to accept that Swag would never leave nor cheat on Sonic. He loves him too much.

So, I’ve come to the conclusion that Chagmaster is one sided!

Chris has harboured feelings for his best friend for the past few years but since he doesn’t want to mess with Swag’s current relationship, he’s learnt to live with them and not let them show.

I think that’s why Chris is often threatening Sonic with a sniper when he’s on dates with Swag. Like a “you’d better treat him right” kinda thing. He just wants Swag to be happy, even if he’s not the one who’s able to do it.

SMG34:

I think their dynamic is pretty cut and dry. Enemies to lovers. Petty rivals with feelings. Enemies with benefits. Take your pick.

I love them as a ship and would love to see them be canon however due to the homophobic fan base I doubt we’ll get that anytime soon.

Their dynamic changes every time I write/draw them tbh. It can fit whatever narrative I need it to.

The Time has come, I shall speak now about my one true pairing, the couple I love the most in Sonic's universe: Knuckles×Rouge

Knouge is a relationship trope that simply works sooooo fucking well!!😖😖 It's fresh juice of the finest quality👌👌, I have seen this kind of relationship a lot: Scrooge x Goldie, Carmelita x Sly, Puss x kitty and of course Batman x Catwoman... 😏😏 (by the way all this couples already kissed, what the fuck are you waiting for SEGA? 😒😒) Is basically the kind of relationship that has losts of banter and tension and honestly they give a lot of material for good juicy stories.

This was the first relationship that could be considered canon in the games regarding having mutual feelings for each other (because at that time Sonic didn't have the relationship with Amy that he has now). When Rouge was introduced in Sonic Adventure 2, she was created to be Knuckles' rival in skills but not only that, she was intended to be also his love interest in a more specific way but in the end they decided to keep things more subtle and not as completely obvious as Amy's display of feelings for Sonic, also she was going to be named Nails the bat, so Nails 💅 and Knuckles 👊 rhymes with Tails but they named her ROUGE which means RED in French a ROMANCE language, red like Knuckles I'm just saying.

SA2 in fact has the very first "romantic" scene between two sonic characters, because absolutely no one will convince me ever that the moment when he saves her and they look into each other's eyes holding hands wasn't a romantic scene, like seriously 😤😏👇

Also the most important thing that makes them absolutely canon is that Sonic ships them, Sonic's shipping mind is indisputable, he did it a few times already: in Sonic Rivals he asks them if they are on a date, in one of Sonic's phone games they start arguing because Knuckles was salty that Rouge was so nice wishing Sonic happy birthday and that she wasn't that nice to him in HIS birthday (jealous much?) and Sonic says to tails that that is true love and then Rouge goes full tsundere denying it 😂😂😂, precious 👌👌.

Let's also mention what happened in sonic X specifically with the original Japanese dub, Rouge just wouldn't stop flirting (+backstabbing let's be honest😛) and knuckles wouldn't stop reacting to it 😂

In this scene ☝ in Japanese she purposely asked him if he was "active" At night too 🤣🤣🤣 she just meant she is active at night because she is a bat... But the way she said that 😆, she was known for making lots of dirty jokes in the Japanese version... Ok but leaving that aside I want to mention only one specific moment because in general the dynamic was the same: she flirts and jokes, he falls for it ect... But this scene was my favorite because this was literally a date.

Of course this part is conveniently out of camera and we can only hear whatever the hell they are doing 😂😏 but now think about it... What were they doing? She was on top of him on the floor under the moonlight tickling him.... AND NOTHING ELSE HAPPENED?? Yeah come on! I don't believe that 😏, we know Rouge doesn't waste time:

Boy that's an ugly ugly comic and speaking of comics, remembering the old Archie comics too... After that dark era where Rouge was a unfairly represented as a villainous cruel bitch 😤🤬 there was a reboot before the IDW reboot and finally my waifu got at least some justice! I just love this particular comic where she shows how she actually respects Knuckles and cares about him, she is someone who never gets attached too much to big responsibilities if that cuts her freedom, she values her freedom (something in common with Sonic) and she wanted Knuckles to have that kind of freedom too:

So like I’ve been thinking bout it some more, expanding the characters like mori got to be the king, oda is probably dazai personal bodyguard, ango or kunikida is the aide to the prince (god rest their souls🙏), fyodor being the crown prince of the neighbouring kingdom, atsushi is the newbie knight butting heads with senior knight akutagawa, black lizard as one of the knight squads ,DUCHESS KOYOU, Royal doctor yosano??, ada can be still a detective agency?or maybe a informant guild haha idk, marquess paul from another kingdom who is chuuya long lost brother

Like maybe when chuuya was young he was kidnap from his family and used by a cult of dark magicians to summon a demon but instead becomes a vessel, basically canon but ~fantasy~ and escape to another kingdom and was raised as a commoner and rose through the ranks through his hard work, until he finds out he actually is a noble but in game he bonds over with the og villainsess over how the nobles treat them with cruel rumors (him being not of noble blood and her being a villainess/foreigner) hahaha could even have the villainess falls for him but cannot marry him as her family wouldn’t approve of her marrying a commoner and chuuya thinking whether he’s worthy of her like angst and why am i making this sad let’s stop but yeah reader definitely would stick with chuuya like he’s such a reliable guy you would want on your side, one of the first people that she can trust and maybe tell the truth in this new world where she’s at risk of getting a bad ending

For dazai, usually in the isekai , the fl would use her knowledge on future events and people to her benefit, I’m thinking dazai would get even more intrigued seeing how he predicts how things happen but because of the reader’s knowledge she turns the tide and dazai is shook 🫨🫨🫨cause he’s always right except when it comes to reader 😏, first he gets close to figure out this mystery but slowly falls for reader and fast forward to him on his knees hugging reader, begging her to marry him while she tries to shove him of with a stick. Also we can have prince fyodor coming in as a love rival, gotta have dazai fighting for his life here hahah

ALSO!! I had another version of this verse where instead dazai is the demon king that the fl is suppose to defeat, with chuuya as the crown prince and main capture target

So like prince dazai is for when reader isekai as the villainess

And demon king dazai is when reader isekai as the heroine

Like think of the angst potential, falling for the one you have to kill for everyone’s happy ending(why do i do this to myself) OR the comedy where reader is trying to defeat the demon king but he’s so different from the og game, he’s in love with me?? THE MOST FAVOURITE right now is Gremia/Damian! Because they might achieve happy end together! Also they have a story between them, that's for sure! They both were Tomb Prospectors, they have abolsutely opposite battle styles and you can't even summon them simultaneously! They can both be alive to the end of the game, so why don't they meet the new dawn together? Rivals to friends to lovers to enemies to friends to lovers agaiiin ohhhh yesss (in my vision. I am working on it! xd)

The next is Damian x Micolash. Damian's tenderness and selfless care could win Micolash's heart I think :0 it's a bitter romance. Because we know that in the end Damian helps us to fight everything Micolash was striving for? Plus Micolash isn't a person who will tell the words of love to his beloved one, I think that he said "I love you" 1-2 times in his life? First was to his mother and the second for anyone you ship him with xd (choose a character). Damian would literally LIVE for Micolash and I think Mico could get tired of him. Maybe their ways parted because of the horrors that started happening in Yahar'gul. We don't know. But I think Damian wouldn't tolerate violence to children whoever does this (if you remember small bodies in Yahar'gul with cages on their heads...). That's my vision of him :0

Damian x Yurie. Great pair! Doomed by a narrative as Damicolash xd But if we assume that they didn't kill each other in Byrgenwerth and Yurie survived, they could also make a family together. Yurie's cold personality and Damian's warmness could make them very hot couple. You know like the two who constantly arguing, but in the end they solve a problem by making love (and Yurie always will be right in the end). In my vision of Yurie she is a sort of Ice Queen archetype, but surely she would appreciate hot caring dilf with her (who wouldn't)

7. what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them? I HATED Elektra but I've cooled down and now I find her just boring. Sorry, Elektra. I just don't like that character archetype, I guess. Fandom makes her very cruel with no vulnerabilities, just a sassy, sexy psychopath. But she does have more depth in the show than she does in fic. I don't hate her anymore but if I see a fic with significant Elektra in it, I click out of it and read something else. Another fandom, different answer. Crowley from Good Omens. Apiary adventurers having no choice but to find other apiary adventurers because no one else will hire them, forced into “hives” that might not have compatible personalities unless they can find people who don’t care… or hide their apiary tendencies well enough

People being accused of having apiary even when they don’t, because there are no visible ways to prove you do or don’t have it

Kids born from hives always being assumed to be apiary themselves, even when they usually aren’t

And Chilchuck has not yet worked out how to get her into his hive-union cuz she’s definitely not a half-foot, but the adoption process already started

(Godiva’s tempting for Falin with her healing to have the nurse/caretaker role, but she’s just so bonk happy I’m going with Arcadia. She likes to go and collect things and gather up the bugs and bring people snacks, she basically did not notice any change

She’s just. Slightly more insistent that people eat the things she brings them. And more likely to run off after shiny things)

None of them know Chilchuck’s a queen, and at first it was only Falin so he was just Suffering but making do

But Falin died

And that’s his goddamn hivemate he’s not going anywhere like it or not - maybe being estranged from his bio kids (they did not agree to move and join the union and he’s. Not up to trying to persuade them.) makes him overly aggressive, or just overly protective and unusually likely to risk himself rather than his hivemates

(He’s still not goddamn fighting and you can’t make him this is what he has hivemates for!)

Senshi is sitting on the Arcadia/Godiva line too, because he is a hive of one but did not question why he fell so easily in with Laios (Chilchuck’s) group

(Chilchuck is not sure how he keeps acquiring all these other definitely-not-half-foots as hivemates (it’s because you keep leaving the hive and miss your kids sir you’re pack bonding with rocks) but dammit he’s got another one)

Marcille and Laios don’t catch apiary until they get hit with the dryad spores in the dungeon’s depths, but they’re both Ivanhoes so there are no immediate consequences if you don’t count them both suddenly getting way more protective of the others

Izutsumi is Izutsumi

Both Flokes are Godiva, Tansu’s the queen and yes this is why they acquire new grandbabies so readily

And because I’m Basic™️, the Canaries!

Cithis is not apiary but she can and will steal every single fucking hive she sees, immaculate queen vibes

Lycion’s a Godiva, natural caretaker who is the tank pretty much by default so he gets antsy when he has to do combat chores rather than tending to his hive

Fleki isn’t apiary but she’s godiva-sexual because godDAMN she needs someone competent to take care of her and she likes belonging

Otta has had shots to prevent catching apiary but they make her read like a Libertine (drone) to the other bees. She is very okay with this

Pattadol has only just got her anti-apiary shots but it might be too late for her tbh

Flamela’s a Quixote, she caught it from her twin after they got a visit from the capital (mmmmmm high rates of apiary among noble elves? Maybe?), her twin was being raised to be the next queen but Flamela’s just waaaaaaay too aggressive and wants to stab everything

This makes it significantly harder for her to work with Mithrun, who was a Quixote before he got broken by the demon and is now a deeply fucked up little Godiva

(because he really does try and save every single dungeon lord. All of them. He wants to help them, get them away and let them recover too. And if they won’t he’ll kill them)

This leads to them butting heads all the harder because Flamela’s instincts insist Mithrun should be the one sticking behind her and letting her go do the dangerous shit, but all of their orders INSIST Mithrun go running face first into danger and she has to hang back

And neither of them are gonna disobey the queen but Mithrun’s just not particularly connected to his gender for anything except the dungeon lords, so he doesn’t act like a Godiva except when he’s around a dungeon, and then he’s full Mama Bear and you stay the fuck outta his way until he determines if this dungeon lord is Baby (to be saved) or Toast

(He still doesn’t feel any of his apiary needs either, but the squad try and feed those for him by eating in front of him and taking care of him alongside their own care routines, so they can make sure he’s alright and he can see they are too

Most of that falls on Lycion as their other Godiva but it feeds his gender needs too so it all works out)

Milsiril’s actually secretly winning the record for Most Broken Godiva though (she hoards children, easy) because she constantly craves a caregiving role, but her own special brand of dungeon PTSD and asocial personality disorder make it extremely hard for her to actually form the interpersonal bonds that would make it satisfying for her

So her serial-parenting of shorter lived folks gets drastically worse, she’s the most helicopter of helicopter parents, and occasionally (regularly) leaves any trip to town with more kids than she started with

Milsiril is no longer allowed to go into town

She also absolutely did try and kidnap Mithrun into her hive rather than letting him go to fight the demon, it was 1000% a trap but because she can’t form bonds well and Mithrun can’t form bonds at all he basically wandered off one day while the kids were being noisy and they both forgot about the whole thing

Milsiril doesn’t remember it until Kabru mentions meeting Mithrun after everything’s over so she does make another vague ploy to kidnap him but Mithrun’s busy making noodles with Senshi and doesn’t notice

Kabru has had every apiary shot and takes his meds every day he is NOT catching what Milsiril got… but he’s real good at spotting it in others and playing it up

Haha, I always loved the idea of them as like a second love triangle. Mostly because Elena/Originals is just so...I don't have words, I love them so much lol 😂 plus there's the whole doppelganger history which makes them sorta dramatically perfect for Elena, history repeating and all that. But but but..could you also imagine a Klaus x Elena x Finn triangle!? Ohh imagine the animosity btw Finn and Klaus...such delicious drama that would have been 😏

I love a story where history repeats itself. Klaus and Elijah both loved Tatia so much that it nearly destroyed their relationship. There's also a nice symmetry with Katherine. Her big story begins with Elijah and Klaus and her last loves are arguably Stefan and Damon. For Elena to begin with Stefan and Damon and somehow end up with Klaus and/or Elijah would be satisfying.

For Elijah, she represents his failure to save his love interests. For Klaus, she represents all his insecurities.

Elena x Klaus x Finn

Ooof! All this. I just - Klaus has kept his older brother daggered for 900 years because he's....boring? (Ok sure I mean, hard disagree Klaus)

And here's Elena, this beautiful and brave and bold young girl. In canon, he literally can't keep his hands off of her and maybe there's a spark there for her too. But then she's attracted to his boring older brother too and it just drives Klaus up the walls.

Bonnie x Finn x Kol

But!! I think the love triangle that rivals the Elena x Klaus x Elijah one for me is this one.

Kol loves witches and he's so dangerously flirty with Bonnie. They would have a lot of shared interests and I think would make a real power duo.

Also, Finn. My basis on this is purely his relationship with Sage, a strong and independent powerful woman. I genuinely could see Finn being interested in Bonnie in a world where she's a little older and Sage isn't around.

Least favorite character: idk if I really have one?? Tbh I found all the characters in trio to be really likable!!! I guess maybe the MC’s dad? I never finished the game but I Do Not Like how he keeps giving me goals like I do not care about being #1 farmer I just want to be a #1 girlfriend 😭

5 favorite ships: uhhhh yuzuki x holly obviously. Though I am also a fan of hinazuki thanks to @pansy-picnics’s art of them!! I’m in love with the idea of lisette and holly being star-crossed lovers due to the game’s gender lock. Also like lisette with kasumi + kasumi with komari!!

Character I find the most attractive:

A random thought: like I said before I just think all of the characters are really well-developed and likable but especially the kids (as in the NPCs not your own kids)!! They are adorable + it was one of the biggest differences I noticed going from trio to sos1….like I didn’t really care for Melanie or lutz but I would die for any of the kids in trio.

An unpopular opinion: uhhhh again idk what the popular opinions are??

My canon otp: sorry if I butcher their names, it’s been a bit, but omiyo and umekichi (yuzuki’s grandparents)!! They’re just a sweet old couple + I love how they come to see my character as a second grandchild 🥺

My non-canon otp: oddly enough it’s probably hinazuki!! Listen if I can’t have yuzuki I know Hinata will take good care of him!!!!

Pairing I am not a fan of: I feel like if there were rival marriages in this game they would’ve put lisette and Wayne together and to me it just feels like comphet…..

Character I feel the writers screwed up: am I allowed to say “kasumi because they didn’t make her canonically a lesbian”?? Seriously though maybe I’m basic/not picky but I think they did a good job!!!

Favorite friendship: I like to think the whole westown crew + the mc are really good friends!!!
