My Feelings For You; Red

Just a little quick fic to get back in the hang of writing. My first time writing some Raph/Casey for rise! Shoutout to this list of color prompts that I’m using for this fic and also to this art by @less-depresso-more-espresso

It’s a Thursday night when Raph realizes how she feels about Casey.

She and Casey are fighting some former foot guys who have decided to cause trouble at some small antique shop for no clear reason.

It’s actually kind of a fun fight. The foot soldiers are pretty well trained and there’s enough of them that it’s challenging. Not to mention the added fun of Casey personally knowing most of the soldiers and throwing oddly specific insults.

“YOUR HOMEMADE FUDGE IS GRITTY AND IT SUCKS,” Casey yells at a retreating foot soldier.

Raph opens her mouth ready to ask if they should chase this guy down but the question gets caught in her throat when Cassandra turns to look at Raph.

She has a wild look in her eyes emphasized by the smears of her red eyeliner that perfectly compliment her split lip and a self satisfied smile.

Her growing out hair is plastered to her forehead with sweat and she’s breathing heavily and Raph thinks she’s the most beautiful thing Raph’s ever seen.

Casey’s victory grin slowly melts to confusion and then a scowl that Raph has come to recognize means concern.

“You okay Red? You look a bit out of it. Did one of those idiots manage a headshot and give you a concussion or something?”

Raph realizes that she’s been staring and quickly tries to look like less of a lovestruck idiot.

“Nah, even if they managed to get a shot in you know Raph takes damage like a boss” she says with a smile.

Cassandra snorts, “that you do Red.” And she leans over and bumps her fist just a little bit too hard against Raph’s snout. It takes all Raph has not to visibly swoon.

Yeah she’s got it bad.
