Hi tumblr! I’m so sorry guys, posting becomes a little intimidating when you stop doing it for a while. Anyway !

Here’s a small portal duo comic that I’ve had drafted for a very long time. It’s also a little prelude to Leo becoming a full blown medic in the future in my Rise/ Chronicles au (yup, still they same one).

FLASH NEWS: I finally gave an opportunity to the Rise of TMNT: Movie, and I must say, It was AMAZING, it really made me realize how much effort, time and passion the showrunners and the animation team put into this "phase" of the brothers and their universe, and I'm so fucking happy to admit that this was one of the best experiencies I've ever had in relation to cartoons and the whole animation genre.

I WILL DEFINITELY give te show a chance whenever I buy some Amazon Prime Video, I most likely will gave my opinion here on Tumblr about the episodes and both seasons (and I will do fanarts, oh god, I MUST DRAW THESE CHARACTERS LIKE YESTERDAY).

I want to admit though, that even if I wasn't actively hating this show on general, after it's announcement I didn't give it a chance due to my own prejudice (it basically came from my love for 2012 tmnt and how it was an important part of my own childhood) and I regret it now, but I'm glad I changed ( and grew) enough to realize that I can love both shows and other versions of tmnt, too.

Again, ty to the everyone in this awesome fandom for introducing me to another hyperfixation, love ya tons guys, girls and non-binary fellas; Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo and Michelangelo might be New York heroes, but you're mine. 💙🧡💜♥️

Cool so I don’t know if I’m just now learning this or if I’m thinking too deeply, but in the rottmnt movie after Leo sacrifices himself it pans to this

And the light is shining through the rock similar to where Raph took the hit for Leo. The rock is even jagged like Raphs shell. Could be a parallel about sacrifice or maybe a sign I’ve rewatched this movie too many times

Edit: someone pointed out the light is red as well which I didn’t see for some reason

Obviously this is rottmnt Kraang… wdym you can’t tell? It’s so high quality and everything…

Aaaaaaaah I speedran this drawing because I had to celebrate 2 years of the rottmnt movie!

I can honestly say I've never been into a fandom as much as this one and if you told me 2 years ago I'd laugh at the idea of even being much into tmnt. The animation style, great voice cast, fun writing all made me love it, but the people I met made me stay and draw and grow!
