This whole comic is a combination of two separate pep talks I got early on from a friend and my sister telling me the same thing. For every artist, voice actor, cosplay creator, writer, and creator, do not undersell yourself. Your skills and time are worth getting paid for. And for every person looking to commission a creator, if their prices are too high or you can't afford their art, that's ok. But there are many reasons why they charge for their work. Like everyone else, we gotta make a living. These lil turtles are just the cutest and I adore their familial relationship in the series 💚 So it was great to get to draw Donnie helping Mikey with a power point presentation/pep talk.

Here, here’s my voting post. There are way more people who need to be voted in than just the president. There’s state judges and governors n shit on there, maybe go make sure you don’t get some Q-anon lunatic as your governor or something at the Very least

You can look up a sample ballot for your state and see who the hell is on there and look em up, see if their stance isn't something like "dismantle public education". Also double check what certain policies actually Mean because there tends to be conservative shit worded in a way that will try to trick you into saying yes to something you Don’t want

As for the president? Idk man, the permafrost is melting and no one is killing oil executives with bricks yet, it might be our last joke of an election either way. maybe pick whichever grimdark overlord you feel will try slightly less hard to kill you while we wait and see if the gulf stream collapses, or don't

While I think it’s adorable how touch starved Red is in cannon, I headcannon that her love language is quality time.

Red grew up isolated in wonderland with pretty much no one wanting to spend time with her just to spend time with her, except for Maddox. Maddox was always off in his own world when making his inventions, but he never minded Red sticking around while he worked. And pretty soon Red sought out time with him because it was the only time she could be around a person without too many expectations placed on her, it was the only time someone spent time with her for her.

And with Chloe it becomes a whole other level, because Chloe seeks out her company, and there’s no fear of being caught by her mother. It’s the first time she can spend time with another person without putting them in danger of her mother. (once the time travel business is done and everything is ok) and Chloe is really the first person who has tried to understand Red beyond her surface level snark, and has seen her for her.

So yeah, Red wants to spend time with Chloe doing whatever (even if she won’t admit it) because now she can and she doesn’t have to worry about consequences.

I'm still on my guard about the other ~significant changes~ they've supposedly made, but until now I've been lowkey terrified they were going to move forward with Risebreak's iteration. World-like base mechanics would be a great start.
