hey, a Kendratello Au question:

if Donnie DOES manage to somehow recover from Kendra and realize that he was being manipulated and used by her, will he develop some kind of trauma or PTSD? Or something probably worse than that?

Draxum works in tandem with Leo to watch over Donnie’s health. But Leo let’s Draxum take the lead. They’re more worried about the immediate concerns, like Donnie’s fever, and mental health. His ninpo will grown stronger once those things are addressed. Splinter is pulled in five different directions. Donnie is his main focus, but Raph, April, and Mikey are ignoring their own health and need to be watched closely as well. He’s trusting Draxum in the first few days, and provided support where he’s better suited. They will all be needed at some point. Splinter knows this will be a looooong recovery, and keeps trying to remind the others that they need to rest too.

They weren’t that bothered by the idea, when Kendra pitched it. But seeing how wrecked Donnie became, they started to feel bad. Which is why, when the family saves Donnie, Jeremy and Jason grab all of Donnie’s tech and find Raph to return it. Jeremy even grabbed S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N.’s AI chip and removed all of Kendra mods. Donnie will still have to rebuild him, but he will be just like before.

When Raph brings Donnie his shell, Donnie’s thoughts are “at least I’ll have some protection when I irritate them too much.”

How do you imagine Jeremy’s redemption? One drawing you did implied Terra had a bad experience with the purple dragons, how does that experience affect her relationship to Jeremy post-redemption?

I feel like the insighting incident was actually when Kendra kidnapped Terra whenever she wouldn’t come willingly like Shelldon did. Kendra is still always trying to one up Donnie and the turtles, but even Jeremy and Jason can pick up after they learn that Shelldon is gone that something is really different about Donnie’s tech. It’s more…alive…and Terra seems much younger and more scared than Shelldon was. They start to feel really bad.

Kendra doesn’t care though. Later on, she even goes through the lengths of stealing Kraang infected technology from high security facilities after the events of the movie, even when the Dragons have already disbanded.

However, after she takes Terra and shows no sympathy for Donnie’s loss, Jeremy and Jason start to question her leadership, having joined her initially only because they were kinda loners themselves and wanted protection from high school bullies in numbers. They were in it for the passion for tech first and foremost, especially Jeremy, which is why he’s first to stand up to Kendra.

Post redemption, Terra knows and understands that Jeremy is a good guy that got mixed in with toxic leadership. She remembers how she stood up for her/Don and is still wary for a while….but not as long as you might think though💜

DAY 7-KNIGHT/DRAGON

So, this is for @sibillascribbles08 Jasonnie week that I'm SO late for. But school started, so yea. While at first I thought to do some kind of meet-cute or something like that, I did it with my new Red Notice AU (the movie with Ryan Reynolds, Gal Galgadot and the Rock)!!

Fun fact: The first draft looks SO bad and the dragon and horse (knight) were cutouts!

can anyone else like, imagine.. 'Rise Of The TMNT''s Purple Dragon's as borrowers. Well, tinies- shrunken Purple Dragons you name it.

— |☆| Like, they are little criminals who sneak in tech stores tear apart pieces from various technological equipment as to create their own stuff, making impressively advanced tech due to not only their smarts, but also due to the fact that with their small size- they can pay way more attention to detail to their creation's hardware, wiring- or whatever it's called. Tiny malicious hackers, all on one laptop, sitting on the keyboard- just slapping various keys to type in some code that can steal someone's data or break into some important system or something. Don't question me as to how they hold knowledge as to how to manage coding, hacking and stuff while being 6 inches tall and basically have been living in the walls most of their lives or something. Best concept I can come up with is that they all met in a tech store and picked up a knowledge from there or something.

She's a black fox (red foxes sometimes have melanism that gives them a much darker appearance) since artic and res foxes have been taken by IDW and 2012TMNT I thought I'd try to make her a bit different visually.

Been thinking about Purple Dragons Jason from Rise... I actually liked him and wished he got out from under his step sister's thumb. She was so terrible to him.

it'd be really cool if he joined up with the Resistance and was accepted by and worked under Donnie's Department. Ensuring their security, working their communications, and helping make inventions/things that would make life just that little bit easier.

Sorry me again Ive also noticed his somewhat forced and shaky smile with kendra mainly i think i might be remembering it wrong. Does he only feel that obsessive about kendra or does he care when other purple dragons give him praise if they do. Would this conflict with kendra. Idk im thinking thoughts you have me obsessing over this comic gahhhh you’re so good

The obsession is only with Kendra. He’s not scared of Jason and Jeremy, but he doesn’t really seek out their approval as desperately as he does with Kendra. If she leaves him alone with either of them, Donnie spends most of the time distractedly looking at the door and waiting for Kendra to return. And they don’t really try to make conversation either. Most of the time when they question Donnie—even about little things—he doesn’t know how to answer without Kendra there to encourage him or tell him he’s wrong. So, rather than listen to him stutter and fumble his way through noncommittal small talk, they just let him hobble about their lair like a sad ghost or sit quietly in the corner.

Sometimes Donnie will sneak closer to see what they’re working on and offers little notations on their coding or blueprints.

And then Kendra returns and Donnie’s attention is immediately snapped back solely to her.

Emi is born after season two of Rise but I haven’t decided if it’ll be before or after the movie, tho I am leaning more towards after

I really should should draw Kendra more considering her's and Donnie's dynamic was one of the first things I came up with for the AU. I've already brought up how Donnie first met Kendra in this comic right here, but not really what happens after that.

But basically, because they meet way earlier in the AU, they basically manage to befriend each other. Kendra is really intrigued in general by Donnie because man it's not every day you meet a mutant turtle, then they figure out that they're both tech nerds and suddenly they're friends. It's just that their friendship actually consists of them larping being mortal enemies cuz they think it's fun and also they're weird. They're both very competetive so they will battle each other as a way to show off and test their new tech XD at the same time they will just hang out regularly sometimes and exchange tips and ideas. Donnie and Kendra being pals eventually leads to Jeremy and Jason finding out about Donnie and the whole turtle thing, so then they all start hanging out XD
