The party went on for hours and Ripp couldn't thank his husband enough for organizing it behind his back. It felt like being in college again and everyone forgot about their adult life problems, even if just for one night.

Only Lilith and Violet ended up throwing hands in the kitchen, putting Rick's "fine china" in danger. It seems like the two couldn't decide who is Rick's bestie and had to resolve it with violence.

Violet might've been sporty growing up, but Lilith had more experience with brawling defeated her way quicker than Violet would like to admit.

Thankfully, despite the incident in the kitchen and John's poor attempt at busting the party, it ended up going well and the Vandermorgans had to pack their friends into taxis in the middle of the night. After making sure everyone departed safely, they could finally enjoy what was left of their night.

With the week at the Vandermorgan's over, next one goes to the Caliente condo.

Dear Diary,

As I expected, Angela was kind of pissed about me telling Mom about us seeing her make out with Cassandra, and it go so bad she went to her room and locked the door. I decided it would be good to get some space, and since Mom was at work and Dad was at the hospital as a result of the maid getting him pregnant (and no I'm not sure how that happened) I decided to invite Ripp over.

Ripp asked me about my report, and mentioned that he already finished his thanks to some special connections. Initially I thought this meant that he cheated by having someone else do it, but it turns out his family knows superstar Tom Vandermorgan and he was able to interview him instead. Honestly would've been more impressive it was his brother Reed Vandermorgan, who's way cuter than he is (I'd choose a rockstar over a jock anytime), but honestly still pretty cool

I decided to tell him about Pascal, and it turns out Ripp was also from Strangetown. He confirmed that there was indeed an invasion, though that they had to leave for Pleasantview sometime before that happened due to their father disappearing so he didn't know all of the details. As of now he and his brothers are living with his uncle Julien, who works as a chef.

We then talked about some of the disappearances, and I realized Ripp never met Dustin or Dirk. Going to write a reminder here to throw a party so they could all meet. Ripp said he had a theory that the disappearances were the results of aliens, then started laughing about how ironic it was that his dad who hated aliens ended up being abducted by one. I didn't really understand what was going on or what he was saying, so I just nodded along and pretended to understand.

After Ripp went home, I got that phone call from Vidcund. He asked me to move to a private area (which I didn't need to do because there was nobody else home), before asking me some questions about Mom and Dad and their careers. I told him everything, which also included Mom and Dad cheating on each other with the maid and Cassandra. After that I asked him what he needed the information for, and he said it was secret.

I heard a woman laughing on the other end and some whispering from her and Vidcund about "giving the Goths exactly what they deserve." I would've asked them about it, but quite frankly I do not want to get in the way of their revenge plans or else I'll end up being on the receiving end of them, and I don't really care about the Goths either. I guess as long as they don't kill Alexander or something (don't really care for him but he is just a kid and I'm pretty sure he hasn't done anything) then it's fine.

it was getting pretty late and lyla decided it was time to leave so she said goodbye to the kids and pretend there's a picture of her hugging becca, i was pretty sure i took a screenshot of it but apparently i didn't? anyway

lyla: "good luck in college honey, im so proud of you"

tank: "thank you mom"

ripp: "won't you stay for dinner with us?"

lyla: "i told olive it wouldn't be long, honey, by the way i loved your hair"

ripp: "uh thanks, dad didn't like it much"

And yet he changed his mind before he even reached the front door. He got back into his car and drove away, pretending he doesn't hear the music and laughter from inside the house.

Thankfully, no one even noticed he was outside and everyone was too busy having drunk talks over Rick's pizza.

Johnny: I know Ripp isn't really my brother, but he always kinda was and now that you're married to him, you're like my brother-in-law, but also not...

Rick: Does that mean I have to be on your family reunions...?

The last of the revamps of the three TS2 base game neighborhoods is finally complete (Alt Pleasantview V2, Alt Veronaville V2). 

I don’t really play Strangetown that very often so I didn’t know what I could offer here. Then inspiration struck and Alt Strangetown V2 was born. Click here to view the household photos.

Gender bent Strangetown

Welcome to Strangetown, or what was Strangetown. Either a science experiment has gone wrong or a slip in the multiverse occurred, Strangetown is a little... different.

What started out as a simple idea back in April as an April Fool's Day prank has now become reality. Strangetown but the genders have been swapped.

This neighborhood was made using Sims 2 Ultimate Collection so you will most definitely need all the packs to get this working properly. Think of this as V1 however since I have not renovated a single lot but since I used the Gussy Up mod, the sims will not be in their original spots.

First off is the name changes and it's not just the first names:

Curious:

Tycho Curious (the supposed canon name of unborn alien baby) > Thalia Curious

There is no CC needed to download this neighborhood as I went above and beyond to even take out my defaults to make sure they’d look decent for people who use strictly maxis. HOWEVER I highly recommend Less Gendered Face Templates if you wish to have the faces look somewhat resembling of the OG sims.

The reason behind the last name changes:

The Grunts are still somewhat called the Grunts, but I noticed that in the original Strangetown, Lyla and Buzz were divorced before she died, and her maiden name was Vandermorgan, the kids should have that last name too. Just think of it as Beatrice has changed her last name back to her maiden name.

For the Beakers I figured Charis would keep his last name and then it snowballed into Lilja would have it too, so they became Salamis’

For the Smiths I decided it wasn’t necessary to name them the Curiouses as well since there is so many of them. That and we all know male Jenny would be a malewife to his devoted alien wife

For the Specters I figured Oliver would keep his last name Muenda and I changed Onyx’s to Muenda because it never settled right with me giving a POC sim the last name Nigmos

To Download:

Downloading is simple, for now it is only on sfs but that will change in the future hopefully.

to install this hood, unzip the file and go to your Documents/EA Games/Sims 2 Ultimate Collection/Neighborhood folder and plop it in there.
