This happened to me in like...2008 and I think it was the beginning of the end for that Pleasantview. I wound up needing to rebuild eventually. I think I'll probably revert to a backup. I did get a bit of playing done, but nothing eventful happened, so a redo wouldn't bug me.

Is anyone able to get the Sims 2 Scriptorium Lighting mod working in Legacy while also having the Ultimate Collection installed? The auto installer only recognized the UC and I am struggling to get it manually into Legacy. Desperate for any help!

I once had to quit without saving on a family because the mother was a witch and she wanted to see the ghost of her ex. I did inflammo (fire spell) on him but it horribly backfired and killed them all except the child. Then the child sat in the social worker’s van but since the lot was haunted with ghosts there were puddles on the road. The social worker’s car apparently couldn’t get past a puddle but I couldn’t grab the car or delete or do anything I was in purgatory! Lol

So... I played and took loads of screenshots... then had to restore a backup from before I played and took the screenshots, because all the pets I'd made after taking the backup had come out with split character files. All of them. Not the sims, just the pets.

This means two things: one, back to the backup so it will take longer for me to get the first Kulo Sena update out.

Also, I need to ask: has anyone ever experienced this, and if so, how (if at all) did you resolve it?

Already got a bug in the sims 2 legacy collection. If you make a custom neighborhood, trees might turn into lakes or different trees. If this happens just make a new neighborhood and it should load the correct models.

Contender for the weirdest glitch I ever experienced in this game.

Just to be clear, here's what's happening:

I made a teen sim with the "make a child" option in CAS

I clicked the pacifier a few times, made the child a teen and clicked "Accept".

I changed the hairstyle of the sim and clicked "Undo". Sim suddenly turns into a mostly invisible kid with a teen's face. Face drops down to child height. All the clothes and hairstyles available for this sim are now for children. Clicking on them changes nothing.

Changing the hairstyle and undoing once again makes the child completely invisible.

I'm taking this as a sign that I've queued enough posts for now.

Sooooo already running into roadblocks with my medieval hood...for some reason, some of my lots are not allowing sims to cook! For example, the earl's palace is fully furnished with a kitchen, but fully maxed out cooking skill servant doesn't have the option to serve or make anything. When I attempted to buy groceries, the game threw a message that said all the fridges were full.

This is only happening on a few of my lots. It has happened to me before, but I don't remember how I fixed it. I tried scouring sims reddit and whatnot but couldn't find anything :(

Anyone experienced this before? What did you do to fix it?

After a day of testing, including TWO clean reinstalls, I think there's something messed up in my DL folder or possibly from some kind of setting somewhere. It's really bugging me that I can't work out what though!

So, what's going on, you ask? When I create a hood with nothing in my Downloads folder, then add a mod that summons sims (like Sim Blender or Inge's teleporter) and reload the hood, the summon menu is fine, albeit full of useless townies. When I create a hood with those mods present... the only options, and I have tested this repeatedly, are: "Summon Default.../" (Father Time or Santa) and "Summon $Family.../" (Toddler New Year).

Nothing has messed with my objects.package files with the exception of me making it read-only before I even started playing... I have had this issue exactly once before, two and a half years ago, suddenly it's back. Can anyone help?
