Went on a trail ride with another girl I haven’t ridden with in a while l and said “hey let’s try this trail!” and then I nearly got us stuck in a fucking swamp
I literally said “haha, come on Bertie (my horse) it’s not like it’s quicksand” and then boom! it kind of WAS though and my pony is fat but she is small, so she got stuck up to her knees a few times but oh my god, poor Buster is a normal sized thick ol halter hog quarter horse boy and he almost went down. he sunk in on the left side up to his stifle. that’s like his hip man that’s like. Almost the butt. that was high-as-a-horse’s-hips mud. That was horse-thigh-gap-height mud. Oh my god.
This obviously scared the horse so then he scrambled out as best he could and he took his mom into a bank full of many sharp little trees and she almost came off and then had to get down and back him back into the mud to get him out and around the trees again
Was my horse as affected? No. Was I hit so hard in the face by tree branches that I bit my lip? No, but her horse reenacted the neverending fucking story for a minute there and she got pistol whipped by branches and I felt so bad 😭 in fairness, she never objected to exploring. not in fairness, it was absolutely my dumbass idea
This is why no one wants to ride with us, even when I try to have a chill walk-only lazy little trail ride I still manage to get us into some kind of chaos, because my riding style can only be described as Quaintly Unhinged™️
As pet tax, here’s my pony and her stupid stray dog she adopted, brave survivors of the sticky icky swamp
#no animals were harmed in the making of this shitshow only one cut on a human and the dog#who has more than nine lives- was fine and I have no idea how he crossed the mud he could’ve flown I was too busy trying to not fall#I’m sorry Julie I’m sorry Buster. thankfully he is a sturdy fucker and both he and Bertie calmed down quickly once we got back on the main#trail and headed home. but the worst part is?#I had fun lmao I do enjoy this kind of insane shit#one time I went riding with my horse’s girlfriend and her owner and homies just turned her mare into the Rio grande and started crossing#and my mare followed because she’s obsessed with hers and I had a proud ‘oh thank god other people are also crazy’ moment#meanwhile ellis#Bertie the pony#this is why it’s really rare to have good riding buddies that 100% enjoy the same stuff as you. first you have to get past all the issues#between disciplines and training styles etc. and be totally willing to mind your own business#and then you have to have similar ideas of what’s fun#my idea of fun is pounding a beer and galloping my little nag up a dirt road pretending I’m in Rohan#this as you can imagine is an acquired taste for most people lmaoooo

Rio: "Something feels off. I just killed my soulmate and I still feel like she's here.."
ten seconds later
Agatha, floating through Rio's body and smiling: "Well, that was one hell of a kiss. Too bad we can't do it again, you know, the whole ghost thing—"
Rio, holding her dagger, visibly enraged: "OUT OF ALL THE THINGS YOU COULD HAVE DONE TO SPITE ME, YOU TURN INTO A FUCKING GHOST?"
Agatha, proud, cackling: "Oh please, this just means I get to annoy you forever, and see you change when you don't know i'm watching.."
Billy, mouth wide open: "Wait- does this mean we will NEVER get rid of you?"
Agatha: "Pretty much, but I know neither of you are complaining. I mean, I did kind of save your life— multiple times!"
Rio, palming her head: "I hate ghosts."
Agatha, with a smirk, floating into her line of vision: "You know what they say.. a little bit of hate sex never hurt anyone"

mr and mrs ‘let me do it’
A/n; I haven’t wrote for marvel in so long… anyhow, headcanons because I can and I want to
warning(s): both miles are stubborn in their own ways, mrs independent woman reader, slithers of mama Rio, a little bickering, mentions of social norms, pet names, rusty spanish, and language l
earth 1610 miles! who’s love language is acts of service, —as well as physical touch— in which it literally makes him go insane when you don’t let him do something for you. drastic or mundane you volunteer yourself everytime and he hates it
earth 1610 miles! who has to learn to somewhat bully his way into doing things for you… you guys sitting together during lunch and you forgot to get utensils? before you can even swing your leg over the bench of the cafeteria table he’s already up walking back to the cart that carries condiments, napkins, plastic packaged utensils and things of the sort
earth 1610 miles! where you both turn it into a little competition on who can help the other one more. you ask him to hold your phone so you can tie your shoe? that’s cute, meanwhile he fully gets down on one knee and ties them for you. Oh, his dorm is messy and he can’t find his notes he needed to finish over the weekend back home? meanwhile, your in your own room copying down what you you wrote from your notes filled with scribblings of words onto his semi empty notebook.
earth 1610 miles! who likes to do something to make your life a little easier no matter how big or small. your about to have a study session and you ran to the bathroom? guess who taking all the text books and notes out of your bag so you don’t have to rummage thought it? Well miles of course :)
earth 1610 miles! who loves you because you think about him and your actions really show it. he had to patrol and couldn’t watch the new episode of his favorite super hero, guess who recorded the who thing start to finish so he could watch it in his down time?
earth 1610 miles! who is in a healthy happy competition of completing services for one another with you because “Te amo aunque seas terco, mi vida.”
ミ★ミ★ミ★
earth 42 miles! who is quite literally wont take no for an answer. it got to a point where he would just start doing things for you instead of asking. you look like you’re carrying too many bags on your mini splurge at the mall? welp now you’re carrying NOTHING.
earth 42 miles! where you both grew up around the social norm of ‘the man should pay for dates with a woman’ and rather he knew it or not, miles subconsciously adapted it into his life. you on the other hand couldn’t call bull shit fast enough to save your life. however, while miles really did value your core beliefs he couldn’t really be bothered to break the habit. he wasn’t wealthy per say, but he had enough to simultaneously spoil you with things as well as help his mom with necessities.
earth 42 miles! who mutters a “watch out ma” when you even try and reach for your purse to pay for ANYTHING. total of $8.67 at the bodega trying to get snacks for your movie night? “I got it.” total of $78.92 after having appetizers, meals, and dessert? “I got it.” $250 to go get some self care done “I got it.”
earth 42 miles! that gets you so frustrated that you guys start to have petty arguments that mama Rio doesn’t stand for. yes you’re lovers, but she will still make you hug in the oversized, OVERSIZED, tshirt until you figure it out like you’re siblings.
earth 42 miles! who you have to learn just loves that way and if you want a change you have to force it yourself. the look he gave you when you came back from the “restroom” on your next weekly date having found out when he waived down your waiter that the meal was already paid for was priceless and so was the small twitch of his lips upward at the bright, proud look on your face.

hiiii!! can you write agatha x pregnant reader (or you can do it with rio x agatha x reader). I haven't really come up with anything interesting, ahaha, but I think it would be cool to see soft agatha with a pregnant reader, especially after all these years since nicky died.
-My baby, my baby
Relationships: Agatha Harkeness x Reader
Summary: After all these years, Agatha has found someone she loves. Loves enough to have a child with.
Warnings: Some angst, but is followed but by fluff. A couple sexual innuendos, birth
A/N: This was so fucking fun to write. I hope it did the request justice and that y'all enjoy!
You met Agatha when you were merely wandering around. She was dressed nicely, her clothes a mix of work and casual. Clumsily, as you tended to be, you bumped into her, her coffee spilling all over the sidewalk and both your shirts. She had cursed, her glare sharp and annoyed, but after you invited her out to get a coffee, it softened. After that the two of you continually went on dates, slowly talking more and more, before it grew into more.
That was a few years ago, and now you lived with her in a nice house in the woods. It was a small cabin miles away from people with a large lake in the back. It was basically your dream home. You had found out she was a witch just a year into that. At first you were shocked, but at the same time it made sense. The way she just knew what you were thinking and how she could just the things you asked for without much problem. The two liked to take advantage of her powers had tested out a certain spell during a night a few weeks ago, one that had left you a sweaty, blushing mess by the end. You didn't think it would have any side effect. But now, sitting in the bathroom, you stared a bright pink plus sign and began to think it had side effects.
Your hand cupped your mouth as tears brimmed your eyes. Being a mother was something that you were not ready for yet. When you were young, your mother was hardly present. Hell she was only there until you turned five and then she handed you off to social servicies, deciding having a kiss was too much work. You had no idea how to be a mother. Most foster mother's hated you, just a few being kind but they were off to work all the time. What if you were a horrible mother?
And Agatha...She had briefly told you about her son, never delving too deep into it, and you never pushed, but you weren't sure if she wanted this. What if she hated you? What if she left? You didn't think you could handle that rejected. Children was a topic the two of you had yet to discuss, always thinking it was far into the future. She had never expressed an interest in a child before-
"Darling," Agatha called. You panicked at the sound of her voice, your entire body locking up. You scrambled up, shutting the bathroom door and locking it. The handle jiggled as Agatha tried to open it, "Darling?"
You blurted out the first thing that came to mind, "I'm showering."
There was a pregnant pause on the other side.
"I've seen you naked before darling if that's what you're about," she paused, her tone confused yet still filled with that playful lilt, "And the water isn't even running."
Clutching the test in your hand, your fingers trembled as you stared at the ground. There were a few beats of silence and you were silently counting in your head, waiting for Agatha to use her magic to open the door. Instead, you were surprised when a note was slid under the door. A faint smile crossed your face. Not long ago, you had told Agatha of how you did this with a foster sister before. She was pissed at you, locking herself in the bathroom, and you had slid notes under the door until she opened it.
You knelt down onto the cold floor. Delicately, you picked up the paper, unfolding it and reading the message: are you mad at me :(
A little laugh escaped you and you could basically see Agatha's proud smile. A pen was rolled under the door next, and you picked it up, scribbling on the paper. No :) :(
You pushed the paper and pen back under the door. Agatha huffed when she read it and you could hear the faint sound of a pen scrapping against the note a she wrote out her next message. Once again, you picked it up as it was slid under the door.
Can I come in? 💜
You smiled at the doodled heart next to the question, but your heart skipped an uncomfortable beat at the words. The pregnancy test sat dauntingly next to you on the floor, you weren't even sure when you had set it down, and it's symbol stared up at you like a taunt. After a moment of hesistance, you wrote your reply on the paper and slid it under the door.
It was opened magically a moment later, Agatha rushing in. She scanned you over as you stood up, taking in your face that and tears shimmering in your eyes. Her eyes flickered around the room before landing on the pregnancy test on the floor.
"Don't be mad," You blurted, "I was going to tell you I promise. I only just found out and-"
Agatha cupped your face and pressed her lips gently onto yours before you could spiral into more anxious rambling, "Shh," she whispered softly, "Calm down." She wrapped her arms around you, letting you bury your face into her neck.
"We're not ready," you sobbed into her neck, "What if- what if-"
"No what if's," she said firmly, swaying back and forth as you tried to quell your inner panic, "It'll be okay."
You whimpered slightly, clinging onto her for support, your knees weak. They gave out and Agatha gently lowered the two of you to the ground, landing on the cold floor that caused you to shiver. Gripping Agatha's shirt tightly, you pressed nose into her neck, soaking up the smell of lavender body wash that lingered there. She whispered soothing words in your ear, rubbing circles onto your back as you cried out your worries. Her lips pressed a gentle kiss to your temple, one that was grounding and helped ease the worries somewhat.
Being a mother was something that you were not prepared for, not at all.
^______________^
If you were being honest, you weren't sure when the cravings started. It was small, like maybe you wanted peanut buttter when you usally didn't. Then today, when you woke up you realized you wanted some pineapple, a fruit that was never kept in the house, with nutella slathered all over it.
"Can you go get pineapple?" You stood in front of Agatha who was reading on the couch, purple magic dancing between her fingers as she used it to turn the pages, one hand holding the book and the other holding a coffee cup. She raised a brow at your question, glancing up from her reading.
"Pineapple," she echoed softly, "Are we moving to Hawaii soon?" Her quip made blush highlight your cheeks as you pouted.
"No," you mumbled, "But it sounds so good right now."
Agatha sighed in fond annoyance, "Alright. I'll go get pineapple. Is there anything else you want, miss princess?"
"I'm not a princess! I just don't feel like going out!" you protested, pouting up at her. She was just an inch taller than you, but it was enough for her to constantly boast about it. Always bragging she was an inch taller.
Your wife rolled her eyes, pressing an affectionate kiss to your lips before moving to slip her shoes on and grab a purse. She winked at you briefly with a sly smirk before slipping out of the house. Sitting down on the couch, you picked up the book she was reading, eyes scanning over it and a warm blush covering your cheeks at the words written on the book. The sexual scenes. You hadn't even known Agatha was reading this. You hadn't even realized how much time had passed before the front door clicked shut and you were slamming the book closed with wide eyes and a fierce red on your cheeks.
Agatha eyed you suspiciously as she entered the living room on her way to the kitchen, "What did you do?"
"Nothing," you shook your head furiously, "Absolutely nothing."
"And I'm supposed to believe that?" she scoffed, but pulled a pineapple out of the groccery bag, "Would you like me to chop it up too, princess?"
You blushed at the pet name but didn't have time to protest as she was already grabbing a knife and chopping the pineapple up. It looked absolutely delicious. It wasn't long before you had chunks of pineapple slathered with nutella while sitting on the couch. Agatha had eyed you oddly throughout your preperation of the nutella and made a few teasing remarks but otherwise left you be.
When she picked her book up you realized that you hadn't book marked her page, but rather the page you were on. Looking at you with a smirk, Agatha chuckled slightly.
"Darling, if you wanted to know about my book I could have just shown you," She teased, her voice light and airy.
You spluttered, nearly spitting out the food in your mouth as you blushed furiously, "Agatha!"
She cackled like the witch she was.
^_______________^
It had been three days since you had found out the gender of your child and since that, Agatha had pulled away, retreating outside and away from you . It hurt, stinging like a sharp pain to your heart as you watched her pull away. You knew she was hurting, knowing that your child was a boy, and you had no doubt it brought up painful memories. Still, you wanted to be there for her and you needed her. Being pregnant wasn't easy. Everytime you tried to talk to her, she would make some excuse, her tone clipped and short before sauntering off. You had finally cornered her in the kitchen when preparing a snack.
"Don't you dare try to leave," you warned dangerously.
"I have to-" Agatha tried push past you, taking a step back again when you didn't move.
"No you don't," you shook your head and took a step closer. Tenderly, you grabbed her caloused hands, worn from years of spell casting, and rubbed soft cirlces with your thumb. Agatha flinched but you didn't let her pull away. Your voice was soft murmur, "Talk to me."
There was a large pause on her end. She bit her lip and looked away, jaw clenching. A huff escaped her as she mumbled, barely audible, "I'm scared."
Your heart melted as you heard those words, pulling her into a hug despite her stiff posture. Agatha had always been unsure about physical contact, but you knew she secretly craved it. Placing a lingering kiss onto the top of her head, you let your lip stay there.
"Me too," you whispered, "And while you haven't told me much about your son, not that you have to, I can't imagine how hard this must be. But we'll get through it, we can do it." Despite your own doubts about wether or not you could be a good mother, you knew Agatha could. She may have a clipped and sarcastic personality to those who didn't know her, she was softer when she loved you. Still sarcastic, but her heart softened.
You swayed back and forth like you would for a young child, "Everything will be okay."
Faintly, Agatha sniffled, hardly audible. She squeezed you tight and pressed a tender kiss onto your bare shoulder.
"I love you," she mumbled.
"I love you too."
Her hand rested on your belly bump, and she pulled away slightly, pressing a kiss to it. She smiled up at you, the underside of her eyes shimmering with tears, but her lips curved into a perfect smile as she pressed another kiss to your stomach, "He's going to be my little prince."
^___________^
You clutched Agatha's hand tightly as pain rippled through you. You sat in a hospital bed, blankets shoved to the side, as Agatha sat next to you, her hand tight against yours. Grinding your teeth together, you squeezed your eyes shut.
"Holy fuck," you whispered harshly, scowling at Agatha's small laugh. "It's not funny."
She smiled, gently pushing hair out of your face, "I'm sorry, princess."
You grunted as another contraction tore through you.
"When's the nurse coming back?" You asked, your heels pressed into the thin matress in an attempt to ground yourself.
Agatha hummed softly, "I'm not sure, I can go get her?"
You shook your head, not wanting her to leave, but at the same time you could feel the baby coming closer. Your water had broken not long ago and they were just waiting for it to happen. Although you didn't want her to leave, you nodded your head, reluctantly forcing yourself to release her hand. Agatha was gone for a few long, painful moments, before wandering back in with a midwife and another woman who you assumed was the labor coach. You had done a lot of reading on it. Your wife hurried to your side, immediatelly grabbing hold of your hand.
The midwife examined you, humming softly, "You ready mama?"
Forcing yourself to nod, not that it mattered, this baby was coming either way, you listened to the other nurses instructions. You ground your teeth together, willing yourself not to scream and squeezed Agatha's hand as tight as possible. Your wife whispered soothing words, her eyes fixed onto the midwife.
"Agatha," you panted, sweat beading at your brow, "I'm scared."
"Shh," The witch brushed away stray hair from your sweaty face, "I know me too."
A string of curse words flew out of you as you were instructed to push. A searing pain shot through the lower part of your body. Your wife pressed a soft kiss to your clenched hand, an amused smile flickering across her face at the vile words that left your mouth. She remembered giving birth like it was yesterday, and it was one of the most painful things she had done. Your eyes, opened for just a second, met hers. She smiled encourgingly at you, she knew you would be able to do it.
"I can see the head!" The midwife announced, glancing up very briefly.
You squeezed your eyes shut as pain tore through you and you were told to push. A few moments later, the nurse pulled away with a concerned frown on her face as she held a child in her hands. Agatha opened her mouth, prepared to ask a question, but the labor coach rushed out of the room as the midwife set the baby down on the table. She pressed her hands to his chest, doing tiny little compressions. Your eyes glued to the baby, even as you were panting with sweat coating your face, you found the energy to look at him. Tears shimmered in your eyes, worry replacing all the pain as the nurse worked over him.
You couldn’t lose him, not now, not after all you had done. Not after you and Agatha had decorated the nursery. Painting it a soft baby blue after much debate and tucking a crib in the corner and a rocking chair and oh so many toys for when he got older.
“Blue is such a generic boys color,” Agatha scoffed, her hand flicking to make the walls a pastel purple. You rolled your eyes.
“But it would be so cute,” you pouted up at her, “Please my love?” You kept up your pout until she agreed and the walls were colored a soft blue.
You couldn’t lose him after so many nights where you argued with Agatha because you were grumpy from the pain and she was her usual stubborn self.
“You can sleep on the couch then,” you said, turning around defiantly at crawling into the bed.
Agatha gaped at you, her head pulled back in shock and brows furrowed. She then huffed, turning around with a dramatic flair, “Fine.”
You refused to admit the next morning you missed the warmth of her cuddles and she endlessly complained about the pain in her back.
After all the two of you had gone through, you couldn’t lose him.
You were too focused on your child to notice your wife when her head snapped up and her eyes locked with a familiar figure. Rio stood across the room, clad in a green dress and a sorrowful tint in her eyes. She glanced at Agatha, freezing entirely. The Witch knew she could only see Death because of their past bond, not because the mortals could see her.
"Don't," Agatha whispered harshly, ignoring your confused look, "Don't you dare."
Death froze, her eyes flickering towards the child who wasn't breathing, before her eyes met Agatha's once more. Faintly, almost imperceptible, she nodded. Then she was gone. A sigh of relief escaped Agatha as her child took his first breath. The nurse gasped, a happy one filled with relief, as a doctor and another nurse rushed into the room. They stopped at the nurse's instructions.
When your child let out a large cry, you panicked, glancing at Agatha in concern, "That's what he's supposed to do right?"
"Yeah," Agatha laughed, keeping a careful eye on the midwife as she cleaned your child, "He's supposed to do that."
The nurse carried the child over, naked and bare, but so pure. You took him delicately, cooing at his small form. He was perfect. Cradling him close, you placed the most tender kiss atop his head, and shut your eyes. Pain still throbbed through your body, but your baby was here. He made it.
You looked at Agatha who's eyes were firmly trained on the two of you and offered a soft smile.
"Want to hold him?" your voice was quiet, afraid to disturb the baby.
It took your wife a moment to respond, and you could see the unshed tears in her eyes. Eventually she nodded, her arms stretching out as she took the baby before cradling him to her chest. She gave him the softest smile you had ever seen, her eyes filled with so much adoration.
"My little prince," she whispered, "You made it."
Her finger caressed his face, tracing the baby fat and familiar features of a baby boy. She remembered her own child, her own baby that was so much like him.
"Do you have a name?" the nurse asked, idly putting on gloves.
The two of you had decided on a name together, one that had been discussed over many months of pondering.
"Nikoli."

hii! Can you please do Rio Vidal x fem reader? Witb the enemies to lovers plot pleaseee, maybe where y/n is also a witch and they start a fight but at the end start making out? Similar to the scene with Agatha from the 1st episode
Up to No Good
Sorry these requests are taking so long!
This is a shopkeepers AU
Warnings: Like one Major Spoiler!!! for Agatha All Along, sickness, a little bit of vomiting, Reader is going through it! Not proofread so ignore the plot holes and mistakes.
Synopsis: Rio is the annoying shop-owner next to yours. She’s constantly bothering you and making your life a living hell but you can’t deny you have feelings for her. What happens when you find out not everything is as it seems.
Word count: ~4k
There you were, standing outside, gawking at the new store next to yours. It was massive compared to your tiny shop. You almost couldn’t believe someone would have the gall to put it there, but you could see why they were confident. This new shop had everything you had and more. It was pure madness. This new witch, Rio, wasn’t someone to be messed with. She had basically set up shop overnight.
You were frantic, it was the end of her first week in Salem and you had only gotten ten customers. Sure there were window shoppers, but they quickly moved on to the next one when they saw the floating lamps and the books that turned themselves in Rios display.
It got to the point where you had to rent out your apartment while you slept in the back room of your store.
Back at your store, you were lost in thought, trying to come up with cost-effective ways of advertising and special merchandise that could draw others in. You didn’t notice the bell ring, signaling someone had entered.
“Um, hello?” You had nearly fallen off your step-ladder.
You grab the shelf to steady yourself and step down. “Oh hi there, s-sorry about that. How can I help you?” You look up and are almost knocked off your feet again at the sight of the most gorgeous woman you’ve ever seen. She had piercing eyes, rich dark hair and all around looked like a goddess.
“Well, I was just scoping the store out. Not sure I need anything though,” she smiles at you. You return it.
“Just let me know if you need help. We have anything from talismans to herbs. Everything is locally and/or humanely sourced,” you say, setting down the last of the stock. You brush off the invisible dust on your apron.
The woman hums… “Tell me more about the store,” she decides. You contemplate what you could possibly tell this gorgeous woman.
“Well, it was given to me my grandmother. It was originally just a ‘holistic’ store but now that everyone’s more accepting of witches in Salem, I changed the name. I want to make her proud, she taught me everything I know. I love my job,” you finish with a smile. She returns it. The more you look at her the more you see something sneaky in her stare. She has a mischievous glint.
“What a story. I feel like I should buy something now. Makes me want to make your grandma proud too,” she smirks, roaming around the store.
“Well you don’t have to but I’m certainly not saying no. Have a look at anything. If you’re interested in the item but are wondering if we have it in a different color we definitely do,” you chirp. You yourself make your way to the counter. You can’t help but feel giddy.
You watch as her eyes light up. You can’t see what she’s bringing up to the counter but from the looks of it it’s one of your custom sigil pendants.
“Here, I’ll take this,” she holds it out. You can definitely tell she’s flirting now, the rune she picked was a love rune and she shows it to you with a wink.
“Oh, got anyone… special, you plan to use this for? Like maybe a spouse or an estranged sibling. Any kind of love really,” you note, ringing it up. She smirks.
“Well, I’ve got my eye on someone I’ve recently met,” she purrs. You blush, not wanting to read into it just in case but flustered simply from hope.
“Oh nice” you say.
She frowns, still with a playful glint harbored in her eye. “Unfortunately,” she takes the rune, “I gotta go back to my own shop.” Your eyes widen.
“Oh you own one too? That’s cool… cool! Um, see you around?” You hate to admit how much it sounds like a plea. She gives you a nod and leaves. You could swear she’s exaggerating the sway of her hips. “Bye,” you murmur.
“Bye.”
You can’t help but watch to see in the direction she goes, thinking maybe her shop is close by. And you’re right it is, but much to your surprise, she walks right into your biggest competitors shop.
“That bitch!” You grit out.
***
It’s been another week of poor sales and you’re getting nervous. The stress, coupled with you having to sleep it in the back on the floor has been horrible on your back. There’s a resentful part of you that believes Rio came in here to mess with you. It certainly seems so with the fact she’s come in about 3 other times. You curse yourself for getting so worked up about it but you literally told her about your fucking grandmother. You were only a simple potions witch, you couldn’t magic up money like some of the other witches out there. Hell, Rio probably could. Stupid sexy Rio.
As if she could sense you were thinking of her she walks in smug.
“Howdy neighbor,” she tromps in like she fricking owns the place. Your gut boils at the fact she very well could in less than a year if you can’t figure out a way to fix this mess.
“What do you want Rio…” you say. Her eyes widen as much as her grin does.
“Thought I’d come by to check on my new best friend.” Her tone is almost sadistic. You scoff.
“Sure best friend. Just remember that when you’re in my store you can’t do anything funny,” you spit out. Her hands go up in surrender, but her face remains smug.
“Of course, I can let you be in control,” she says it low, something that makes your heart beat uncomfortably fast.
“Whatever… how’s it going with the love rune, I’m sure they’re charmed,” you exaggerate, stretching your words.
Rio puts the back of her hand to her forehead and leans backwards dramatically with a drawn out sigh.
“Alas, I don’t believe it’s achieved its purpose quite yet. It will; now’s just not a good time.” You fight the urge to role your eyes but it’s replaced by a yawn. Rio returns to her normal position and stares at you.
“Did princess not get enough beauty sleep,” she coos, pouting.
“I’m fine. I hope whatever your situation is works out so you don’t have to bore yourself with little old me.” You don’t mean it truly but boy do you need a little alone time without a failed crush gloating via very annoying body language.
“Nonsense, our little chats are entertainment to me.” She says. You grunt.
“Righttt, okay you do know I can kick you out if you don’t buy anything right?” Your brow arches. She laughs.
“Of course, I’m a shop owner too. You know that silly,” she boops your nose and you fight the rage coming over you. “Oh my god you’re cute.”
“Get out!” You growl, pointing at the door. You feel like ripping some of your hair out at this point. And Rio can tell, she’s just biting her perfect lip enjoying your frustration and it just infuriates you more. “No seriously you need to leave!” You throw your arms in the air and regret it, the twinge in your back making you wince. Rios smile falters ever so slightly.
“Didn’t mean to make you so worked up,” she chuckles. You sigh and put one hand on your back and the other pinching your nose.
“Just- I need to go get something in the back, please have left before I come back,” you (and Rio) hate how defeated you said that. Rio never feels bad for being her fun self… but, she might not feel great about this. You leave slowly to the back, cracking the door. Once Rio hears the telltale sound of a pill bottle she decides she should give you space.
When you come back out you’re a little confused at the pang you get in your chest when you don’t see her.
***
You were miserable, sick and miserable. But, the show must go on.
Time flew by in some increments and went painfully slow in another. You were debating closing the store today but your most recent electricity bill told you that isn’t a good idea.
Since it was the weekend you made a whole 20 sales, something you were extremely proud of. You were surprised too, considering you felt absolutely disgusting and maybe a little loopy. Perhaps it was the new promotion deal you worked on.
You decided to stock the merchandise that was selling the fastest, and of course once you turn your back that’s when the viper strikes.
“Hey bestie!” A voice rings out. You whip around and get dizzy, stumbling. Rio steadies you. “Woah there.”
“R-Rio?” You say.
“You don’t look so good there Y/n, maybe you should take a b-“
“No!” You interrupt, “I’m doing so well today you can’t stop me now you little devil,” you sneer. She chuckles. It’s supposed to come out threatening but your stuffy nose doesn’t exactly help you achieve that. Rio smiles.
“Well, not exactly. And I certainly understand why, you’re practically giving away free merchandise.” She says, tilting her head.
You puff out your chest with pride. “Yeah well I buy one get two for five deal will do that.” Rio pats your shoulder.
“Oh, uh, honey, your deal out front says buy one get five for two.” Your eyes widen and you scramble outside. Sure enough she’s right. After inspecting the writing it clearly wasn’t tampered. It seems that you weren’t even paying attention and you didn’t notice. You put it in the system as five for two as well.
“No no no no no!” You screech, taking down the sign. “Shit, oh my god. How did I- how did I not notice! No wonder people came up to me with so many friggan candles.” You run your hands in your hair. And go back inside, putting the closed sign up.
“Maybe you should sit down.” You agree and put your head in your hands with a groan.
“Are you here to gloat?” You ask, afraid of making eye contact.
“No… do you seriously not have anyone to help you run the store?” She asks coming closer to you. You shake your head. While you’re looking away you miss the genuine concern on her face. Without asking permission, Rio holds the back of her hand to your forehead. “You’re burning up, where do you keep your illness remedial potions? Have you even taken anything?” Her questions make you feel dizzy and you genuinely feel like you’re gonna vomit.
“Third shelf up to the right by the window,” you say drowsily. You’re too out of it to see the way Rio rushes to get it. The pain in your forehead seems to grow with each passing minute. The pain relievers for your back have stopped doing their job but you can’t remember the last time you took one regardless. She comes back. You gag as she hands it to you but you push it away and grab the trash can. Rio winces as you vomit.
“Oh shit…” she says. “Y/n as your bestie I got to say, I’m a little worried about you not taking care of yourself.” Her voice is abnormally soft. You can’t help but cry, partially due to the burning in your throat, partially due to the pent up emotions and the fact that the person making your life hell is being so nice to you.
“Why, why are you being so nice, you should be having a blast. Just my luck,” you hurl again, “Business has been really bad and on my good day I’m violently ill. It’s still objectively bad too, five months ago I’d get 20 sales before noon. And all of it’s because I fucked up.” Rio is stunned, she’s never been good with many emotions but she feels awful and knows she has to do at least something. She holds your hair back. She’s regretting this elaborate plan.
“Hey, hey. It’s gonna be okay. You’re clearly in a lot of pain right now, you don’t deserve to be mocked at all.” And her words only make you feel worse. If you think about it, she’s never been a hundred percent awful at you. You actually really really liked her up until you found out who she was. It was her business that was causing all these problems.
“I’m sorry, you should go. You- I can take care of myself,” you sigh. Everyday it looks like you’re gonna have to sell the store more and more. You’re terrified. You think that it’s all your fault that you took your grandmothers beautiful store and ruined it. You were a shit witch, and shit at your job in your opinion. Rio bit her lip and stared at you.
“No, no… tell you what. I’ll leave you alone but you have to promise me that you’ll take care of yourself. And your grandmother is so proud of you. She says so all the time.” She says and you’re mostly grateful. The pang in your chest returns again at the thought of you leaving. You realize she said something weird though.
“What, my grandmother is dead… are you also a medium which? I thought you were a green witch?” You say, picking up your head.
She looks to the side and let’s go of your hair. “Um… sure, let’s go with that. Anyways, I’ll leave you to it,” she stands up, “and take care of yourself missy.” She finishes in her usual mocking tone. She leaves out the door soon after.
Your left there confused before you see the potion. You remember you need to take it and you down it, gagging at the flavor.
“I have got to invest in flavor drops.” You say.
***
It’s been awhile since you’ve seen Rio. Her store’s also been closed for a couple of days. You should be ecstatic but you have to admit it’s been lonely without her popping in to bother you. On the bright side business was back to usual and you were making enough money to actually pay your bills again, the renters check wouldn’t come until next week but you might have enough to spring for an actual mattress.
You were honestly worried about Rio, worried you made her feel so uncomfortable she’d avoid you forever. You couldn’t sleep because of this thought and stumbled out of the back room in the dark. You managed to crash into a mop bucket and trip into one of your shelves causing it to crash and for all of your potions to shatter.
“Fuck!” You yell, you try and get to the light and manage to cut your foot.
Rio didn’t have to sleep, she stayed late at the shop looking over everything over and over. She was getting bored when she heard the crash coming from your shop. She quickly runs out the door to your shop, thinking someone broke in. She doesn’t need you having any more problem. She feels awful for the ones she caused. The door unlocks with a waive of her hand and just as she opens the door you flick on the light showing everything in its chaos.
“Uh, hi,” you awkwardly chuckle, wincing at the sting of your cut and the bruises that were already forming. “Good to see you”
Rio stands in confusion at the sight of your limping form in your tank top and lacy sleep shorts. She has to fight the urge to lick her lips.
“Are you…. Are you sleeping in your store?” She asks and you sigh, dropping the awkward smile.
“Yeah, I had to rent out my apartment on extremely short notice and now I live in the back room.” You have no clue why you’re being so honest but you really need to sit down as standing on your one foot is getting really tiring.
“Crap, you’re hurt,” she notices (originally it was because she was taking her eyes over you in your skimpy sleepwear glory) and goes over to you. She casts a spell and heals your injury. She waves her hand to get rid of the mess too and any other glass.
“Thanks.” You say. A beat of silence passes. “Why are you here?” You ask, suspicious.
“Well I thought someone was breaking and entering and I can’t have my bestie getting robbed. You roll your eyes, silently grateful she’s back.
“Alright. Um thanks. Yeah…” you trail. Now that she’s in front of you, you decide enough is enough. You have to tell her the truth. “I don’t want to put you on the spot but business has been really bad up until you closed your shop for the past few days. So- I live here now. I can manage into next month but I might have to sell the store. I guess what I’m asking is- would it be possible to get a job at your store when I do?” You felt awful about asking her for this, and you fully expect her to say no. She gives you a smile.
“I’m um, I’m actually closing the store.” She suddenly says and your eyes go wide. You stammer in protest,
“W-wait why? What about your employees!? You’re not moving away are you?” Your concern makes her smile bigger, confusing you more.
“Well… to tell you the truth I didn’t need it at all and it was interfering with my actual job.” She admits, enjoying the puzzled look on your face.
“What actual job?” She isn’t quite sure how to approach it, nevertheless, she tries.
“I’m death. I know it sounds ridiculous but I’m actually death, that’s me.” She says. A grin breaks out on her face.
“You’re joking” you start laughing and while she loves your laugh she’s not joining and you stop. “You- YOU’RE DEATH!” She waves her hands.
“Surprise! Um yeah, anyways, so funny story actually. Remember when I said your grandmother talked about you all the time. Well basically… we’re besties too,” she sees the shock on your face grow bigger and bigger. She’s about to make it worse.
“You know her, as in you took her once she died and you became best friends?” You interrogate. It doesn’t make much sense. She rolls her eyes.
“It’s not like I killed her and she’s funny. She basically talked the world of you. And she was worried about you, said you were lonely single and sad” Rio pouts briefly before her grin returns, “so she sent me. And I personally agree with her. But I’m single too so I thought I could do something about it.”
Your head is reeling, Rio is death and the only good thing about this is that your grandmother is happy (for the most part) and that the crush you’ve been trying to ignore because she’s been destroying your life reciprocates.
“Let me get this straight… you are ‘besties’ with my grandma. And you heard all about me, including the fact I’m single and you decided to run me out of my fucking house and almost my business. That’s not gonna get me to like you back and I don’t exactly think my grandmother appreciates that!” You yell, pacing back and forth. “It doesn’t fucking make sense!” You let out a huff.
Rio wants to be patient but she’s getting a wee agitated too. “Well in my defense she told me you like romcoms and I wanted to make a big impact. I wasn’t aware that I was so good at it, I hated running the store!” She crosses her arms as you still pace.
“No, no, no, no, no. You don’t get an ‘in my defense,’” you mock in a high-pitched tone, “This store was my baby. I don’t care if you didn’t like running yours and it was for a twisted sick romcom move. You saw what it was doing to me, maybe not all of it but you did. How could you honestly think I’d like you. How!?” At this point if the crash didn’t wake your neighbors then your screams did. You didn’t care, you were hurt, and so confused.
“Look I’m sorry okay! I’ve quite literally never told anyone I’m sorry for anything but I am. It was wrong of me and I let it get way out of hand. I used my magic way too much and rather than it being a cute little competition I got sucked into the feeling of one-uping you to prove I could one day help you and to show you I’m worthy. I didn’t become aware that it was that bad till I saw you when you were sick. I immediately closed the store and went to your grandmother who filled me in on all of the other horrible things I caused for you. I’m so sorry.” Rio chest heaves as she spews her words.
You stop pacing, biting the skin on your thumb. It’s a nervous tic that’s recently reared its ugly head again. Rios crying, and she hates it. She looked so much like a scolded child that you laugh. She’s confused now. You actually feel like you’re going insane but you just want one good thing so you get right up in her face and look into her eyes. She thinks you’re gonna slap her, but you grab her face and give her the angriest kiss you’ve ever given anyone. Okay and maybe you do slap her but not too hard. You just laugh at her nervous look.
“You bitch,” you say incredulously, “You really did all of this just to ask me out? You do realize I would have said yes the second you walked through that door right? Rio… I like you, I do. You can be the most annoying and conniving creature I know, but you’re charismatic and beautiful. So… since you’re so powerful, I will go out with you on several conditions. Would you like to hear them?” Rio nods her head eagerly.
“Please.” You smirk.
“Look at you, using your manners and everything,” Rio rolls her eyes, “Alright, I will go out with you if you give me everything you earned from your store. I know for a fact you don’t need it and since it wasn’t supposed to be a real store those are my profits. I want you to apologize to my grandmother too and tell her I said thank you for the gift. Secondly, I want to go on a vacation with you to wherever because I’ve wanted to for years and I deserve one. So pack your bags or this ain’t happening” you look between the two of you.
In any other situation these demands would look absolutely insane and maybe they still do but you don’t care because you were stressed and this relationship was already extremely unhealthy on both sides. She pretends to think about it but eventually smiles.
“Of course,” her devilish smirk returns, “but don’t think I don’t still have any power over you dear. I may have been naughty and will prove to you every day that I can be better but watch yourself. After all you can’t cheat death.” She winks and you sigh.
“When I get a couch and a real bed you’re sleeping on the couch,” You simply say and her smirk falters slightly.
“Touché. Oh before I forget,” she puts her hands on your hips. “Check my right pocket.” You give her a raised brow and check, immediately figuring out what it is.
“The love rune,” you hold it up, “you bitch.” It’s said fondly.
“Told you it’d work,” she whispers holding your cheek. And you scoff lightly.
“It’s my own product, I knew it would. But for the record, I knew I would love you from the second I saw your devilish smirk.” You admit. She bites her lip briefly before pulling you into another kiss.
“I’ll give you the world,” she murmurs against your lips. You laugh,
“First give me my money back… but after, all I want is you.”

Here’s a little silly idea I had
MC thinking they’re so funny by making memes and sending them to the group chat with everyone
They send stuff like
(Not made by me)
And they think it’s the funniest thing ever
Even better if they’re in the human realm and no one can get to them(yet)
I feel like this meme specifically would get a laugh out of Diavolo or at least a chuckle
HI!! omg when I saw your name I was like omg a returner!! thank you for supporting me for a while now and I'm sorry it took me so long to get to this! I always see your name in my activity and gahhh it's so exciting for me to see someone who comes back repetitively!!!
btw love court of darkness, used to play religiously! I really should get back into it bc rio is my love <33 would love to chat about the game if you have time!! my bestie loves lou too
this looks literally so fun to write haha, I already have so many ideas!!
please enjoy :)
Mc who makes memes about everyone
alright first thing first, lucifer is like the parent of the group who first, holds the phone really close to his face and then second, shares that it's not funny, he doesn't get it, or starts giving you a lesson
as long as it's at the expense of someone they dislike (cough lucifer), satan and belphie are on board and will even make some themselves
lucifer would totally hate it if all three of you just sent memes about him instead of responding to him
levi enjoys them so you entire conversation back in forth in dms turns into just sending memes back and forth
solomon understands you the best when it comes to memes and constantly looks over your shoulder while you make them
barbatos also doesn't think the memes are funny when they're at the expense of diavolo, even if diavolo think they're funny
otherwise, he literally does not care and will not respond at all to them
if you want a response, make one about him (and good luck you'll need it)
god that's really funny to think about
barb vs rat meme will get you killed but that's so fucking funny
simeon doesn't really get them, like lucifer, but he's much nicer about it and is like the supportive parent
levi, satan, and belphie contribute to your meme ideas stash the most
levi is the only one who actually makes them regularly though
if you send any about asmo, he posts them to his devilgram
diavolo finds all of them funny and shows them to the little d's like a proud dad
mammon tries to make a market out of them and fails
beel really enjoys the ones you make about him and belphie
if you weren't mc, you'd be dead lol

*ੈ✩‧₊˚ IN EVERY UNIVERSE .
— when traveling across multiple universes, miles learns the two of you are together in every single one .
e1610! miles morales x black! fem! reader .
miles pants as he’s in a universe that looks eerily similar to his own, but he knows it’s not his due to the sound of his own voice ringing from his bedroom. miles soundly walks through the house — going unnoticed due to his invisibility — and peeks through his bedroom door to see you and miles sitting on his bed, you placing stickers on his face.
“just stay still!” you giggled, placing a heart sticker on his tip of his nose. “what are we doing this for again?” miles asked, trying to sound as nonchalant as he could but not being able to hide the amusement in his voice. “gotta take pictures of you for our scrap book, plus i can’t let these stickers go to waste.” you tell him, snapping a picture on your phone and smiling when looking at the results. “see! isn’t it cute?” you questioned your miles, a love struck look in his brown eyes.
-
the next universe was by far his favorite. miles walked around looking at the pictures that hung on the walls or were placed carefully on a table or shelf, it was pictures of you and him — about 10 years older — with two little kids, one boy one girl. miles was taken out of his train of thought when he heard the giggles of a little girl. he waited to make sure no one else was in the way and he poked his head in through the crack in the door, watching you put the little girl’s afro into two puffs held together with pink ribbons.
“is daddy gonna like my hair?” the girl asks you, looking up at you with curious eyes. “well i dunno. let’s go find out, yeah?” miles instinctively moved out of the way and watched you and the little girl walk into the room where older miles was, watching your daughter jump on the bed and ask — “do you like my hair?” just for him to respond with picking her up and telling her how much he loves it.
-
the last universe miles was able to travel to was interesting. in this universe, it was just you and him inside an assumed shared apartment. miles tip-toes down the hall to hear you laughing at something he said.
“miles, just put the mask on!” you tell him, a goofy grin on your face. “i’m trying! the wand is too small.” miles complains, struggling to get the mask on his face. “here, lemme do it.” you say, taking the wand from his hand and applying it yourself, watching miles look down at you with love. “there.” you say, proud of your work. “now, let me do your nails!” you grin, watching miles’ eyes go wide.
“like paint them?” miles asks, following you with his eyes while you walk around the bathroom and gather the clippers and clear nail polish. “kinda. it’s a clear coat and it helps with breakage and stuff.” you tell him, coaxing him to sit on the toilet seat. “it won’t show?” miles asks, sadness in his voice. “well why are you sad about it?” you furrow your eyebrows in confusion. “i just wanna show everyone what good of a nail artist my girlfriend is.” miles says, a dopey grin on your face. “we can do blue afterwards, i promise.” you say to him, smiling right back.
-
and this universe, miles was finally home. he knocks on your door, being let in by your mom.
“what brings you over here, miles?” your mom grinned, leaning against the door. “is it okay if i stay over? mom and dad are working late and i don’t wanna be alone.” miles says, twiddling his thumbs. “of course! rio and jeff know you’re here, right?” your mom asked, letting miles in. “of course. thank you.” miles says, practically racing up the stairs and into your room.
“miles!” you exclaimed, seeing him walk into your room. “hey, y/n!” he exclaimed back, catching you with a grin when you threw yourself into a hug. “where’ve you been?” you asked, checking his face to make sure he was okay. “had to stay over at school, just some project stuff.” miles shrugged. “oh, and i brought some face masks and a new notebook!” miles says, holding up the bag excitedly. “what’s the notebook for?” you ask, flipping thought the pages.
“i thought we could take up scrapbooking.” miles grins.
-
a/n this was based off of an idea i saw on my feed and i can’t find it 😞

the pull of you
cw: 1.7k wc, female reader, NSFW, highly suggestive, hinata is your closest friend natsu's younger brother, on a night out you end up learning he grew up to become ever the charismatic flirt who's always kinda had a thing for you :)
The first time you see Hinata Shoyo again, you’re both older but he’s much different.
It’s not that you haven’t thought about him ever after high school. His bright, juvenile presence came to mind whenever you’d text or meet up with your best friend, the memory of the afternoons spent in the room adjacent to his still so dear to your heart. Natsu, ever so proud of her little brother, never missed a chance to update you on his life either. The adventure in Rio and beach volleyball, all the efforts put in understanding an entirely new, different version of the sport he’s always loved. How he accepted a part-time job as a delivery guy, tried his best to learn a difficult foreign language, all while trying to juggle homesickness, inexperience, a distant roommate and a shift in his reality that almost made him drop everything and book a flight back to Japan.
But then Shoyo adapted, just like you and Natsu guessed he would. Because it’s what Shoyo did. And now he shines bright for Tokyo, Japan, the entire world to see.
When your best friend demanded you’d be ready as she was going to bring a surprise, you never would’ve guessed her little brother was going to be it. Last time you saw him, he was a 5’4 teenage boy jumping around with nothing but volleyball on the brain. While apparently his height hasn’t exponentially grown, everything else sure as hell did.
The rounded table is far too little for three people to be sitting around it and while this was supposed to be a regular friday night out with Natsu (drinks on her), it’s turning out to be something completely different.
Hinata is sitting close enough for his knees to be touching yours and at every subtle bump you can’t help but think of how hard and thick the legs wrapped in those dark jeans seemed right before he sat down. Everything else you don’t really have to imagine, it’s pretty much laid out for your eyes to see: his shoulders look scandalously strong in a plain t-shirt, chest oh so wide, swollen biceps and muscles all over that keep bulging and swelling at each subtle movement. And then there’s his smile, a charming grin or one barely outlined crescent, filled with beaming confidence and dangerously flirty.
Because he is flirting.
Eyes shamelessly fixed on you as the conversation between you two just flows. And Natsu doesn’t seem to be the least bit worried about her annoying little brother (who used to also kinda be your annoying little brother) being so interested in asking you questions and ignoring whatever gossip she has about her perfect boyfriend.
“I’m just sayin’” Natsu sways in her seat a little, cheeks pink and a few tangerine strands escaping her bun only to stick to her forehead “the secret to a healthy relationship is communication. And great sex”
“Natsu” you gracefully push a glass of water toward her but it gets brutally ignored as she takes another sip of her drink “may I remind you that your little brother is literally sitting here? He can hear you”
“We talk about everything” he shrugs “I always know every disgusting detail in sickening accuracy”
Your friend giggles. “True. And I do too. You see” she winks at you “he’s not so little anymore, is he? How’s your girlfriend, Sho? The one we could hear”
“Jesus, I’m not drunk enough for this conversation” you bring the beer to your lips and take a generous swig, condensation cool against the pads of your fingers.
“We broke up” for some reason, he’s looking at you as he replies and relaxes back into his chair.
“Aw, what a shame” Natsu’s cheerful tone doesn’t quite match her pout “that makes two of you”
“Thanks a lot” you grimace. So much for the confidentiality of the secret shared a few days back, one not even your own mother is yet aware of. It's your fault for letting her drink, really: the years spent with her in college clearly haven’t been a fruitful lesson.
“Nothing to be ashamed of” she clicks her tongue in disapproval “he was an idiot. Who the fuck refuses to…”
“Don’t”
“… pleasure their girlfriend?”
“Oof” Hinata tries to drown the chuckle into his own bottle “that’s why you broke up with him? Fair game”
“Since apparently we’re sharing everything” you sigh, exasperated “he broke up with me”
“Asshole” Natsu shakes her head in disbelief “you were together for so long, too. High school sweethearts. Remember him, Sho?”
“Ah, yeah” he cocks his head a little “Sasaki, was it? Wouldn’t have guessed it went on, that guy never seemed to be a great match for you”
“Man, you used to hate him” Natsu mischievously hides her chuckle behind her hand when she turns to look at you to whisper “Shoyo had such a devastating crush on you!”
“Natsu!” he groans and this time you’re not the only flustered one at the table, as crimson blossoms on his cheeks you finally get a glimpse of the Hinata you remembered. You offer a lenient smile.
“I knew”
His eyes are on you in a second, lips parted and brows knit in surprise “what? Really?”
“Yes, Shoyo” it feels good to utter his name somehow, it weighs comforting and familiar on your tongue “you weren’t exactly great at hiding whatever was on your mind back then”
“Still bad at that” there’s something in the way he says it, in the way he holds you level in his serious stare that makes you all too aware of his knees still warmly pressing to yours. God, he’s attractive. And the worst part is that he clearly knows.
“I need to go to the bathroom” Natsu interrupts the brief staring contest between you two “please keep an eye on my drink” she rises from her seat, a little unstable. You reach out to support her by the elbow.
“Let’s go together, I can-”
“I need you to keep that safe” she indicates her half empty glass “he’s already thinking of stealing my drink, I can feel it” Natsu narrows her eyes at her brother and he raises his hands in defense, amused. You sigh as you watch her stumble toward the back of the pub, where the bathroom is.
“I never understand if I need more alcohol or less, whenever I go out with her” Hinata’s good natured comment makes you chuckle.
“You could’ve spared yourself the agony, tonight. I’m used to it by now” you absentmindedly drum your fingers on the side of the empty bottle you’re still holding.
“I’m glad I came” he takes a sip from his own beer “I haven’t seen you in so long. You haven’t changed”
You scrunch your nose at that. “Really? I was a teenager the last time you saw me”
“Yeah” Shoyo agrees with a little smile as he quietly takes your features in, gaze lingering on your lips as he replies “you’re still just as beautiful. Always wasting your time on people who should be thanking their lucky star you’ve as little as glanced in their direction”
There’s no reasonable way to explain the shudder that runs down your spine, the tense sensation tugging at your stomach when you lean closer to him over the table.
“And you grew up to be such a charmer” the smile you toss at him is incredulous and maybe a little teasing. As if he was waiting for that, Hinata bites and leans closer in turn.
“What is it that he didn’t want to do?”
You scoff but it’s playful, evokes a smile. “C’mon, you can tell me. It’s just me”
“He never went down on me” your tone is almost challenging, as if you’re daring him to laugh or take the piss.
However, Shoyo remains serious, with only genuine surprise evident in his hazel irises.
“But” he tries to make sense of the absurdity you just shared “he’s the only boyfriend you ever had”
“Correct”
“Does that mean no one has ever…”
“It means exactly that” you shrug, attempting to play off embarrassment as indifference “he thought it was gross. I never asked again”
In the end, Shoyo does laugh but the sound is unexpected, incredulous more than it is mocking. “Natsu was right. What an absolute loser” he smiles, confident in a way that is ridiculously attractive “some would kill for that opportunity”
You snort out a laugh in an attempt to mask how fast your heart is really beating “I think that’s a little extreme, I don’t know a single man who would kill to-”
“I would” Shoyo tilts his head as he studies your flustered features, imagination already running wild as he asks himself if you’d look the same while straddling his face.
“You don’t mean that”
“Oh, I mean that. I think you know exactly how much I mean that. I’m terrible at hiding what’s on my mind, after all” he gently unclasps your hand from around the beer bottle, places it on the table and turns the palm upwards, thumb tracing lazy figures on your wrist “I’ll tell you, if you want to know”
He’s not hesitating, only granting you a way out of the conversation. But do you want a way out? No one’s ever looked at you like that, with fierce determination burning behind warm, genuine affection. You know Hinata, he’s never been a liar and you doubt he’s grown to be one.
“I want to know” you find yourself murmuring, entranced by a stare that holds you hostage in the best way. He smiles, rough thumb applying the slightest pressure to your skin as it moves in circles.
“I’d first have you on my knees and against the wall. I’d want to see you, find out what makes your legs give out the quickest. I’m afraid that’s all the patience you’d get from me” his other hand sneaks beneath the table and closes around your knee, wide and warm “I’d turn you around, eat you out from behind until you can’t stand anymore, until I’d have to carry you to my bed and have you sit on my face to take what you need from me. I could go all night, have you cream on my tongue, on my face, over and over again. I’d make up for all the years you spent with that jerk, in one single night” and then maybe you’d never want to leave, he mentally adds. “I know you’d want that too” he says instead, mischievous glint in his eyes. Your mouth feels so dry.
“What makes you think that?” surprisingly, you manage to string five words together. Hinata smiles and he looks as beautiful as ever underneath the golden, dim lights of the pub.
“I can feel how hard you’re clenching your legs right now”

Agatha All Along deep dive: episode 2 part 3
(Wandavision entries: [1][2][3])
(AAA entries: ep1 [1][2][3][4] ep2 [1][2][3][4] ep3 [1][2][3] ep4 [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][+1] ep5 [1][2][3][4][5] ep6 [1][2][3] ep7 [1][2][3][4][5][6] ep8 [1][2][3][4][5][6][7])
agatha going UGH!!!!! when she sees jen's name. are you a toddler?? are you four????
"bougie probiotique" lmao
AGATHA
she's here she's queer she's gonna put an egg up her vajeer
sasheer zamata the glorious gay goddess that you are
"jen the potions guy" sounds amazing. I'd use that on my business cards
aaand once again I'm billy
I love that these two have clearly known and hated each other for centuries - sometimes you just see an enemy and immediately go, oh it's you motherfucker. and I think that's beautiful. (dear lord that store is so pink)
and once again: hilarious dialogue, heavy and dark undertones. jen has very, very legitimate reasons to hate and mistrust agatha, even more than she realizes. she will never open up to agatha like the others, and that's both fair and sexy of her. tbh she was too kind all things considered, that bitch deserved her ass kicked from here to the afterlife
case in point, agatha knows jen well enough to manipulate her into joining them. and jen knows agatha well enough to say what will hurt her. she picked the worst thing she could come up with
billy and the audience don't notice that agatha has just been stabbed in the heart
partners in crime, once again! agatha is so proud of her boy's lil manipulative side. and yep, billy is not as naive as he tries to appear. he's still a bit clueless, but he tries.
love how they're so deliberate in depicting the witches as a legit community with its own culture and history.
watch this scene again. now think about the rage and soul and desperation jen pours into winning her powers back from agatha. look at the way these two are being both so casual and so callous about jen's deep, bleeding trauma. not so funny a scene anymore, is it?
agatha shoving a fistful of paper in her mouth so she doesn't have to say rio's name also goes to the top five funniest list. she'll never beat the toddler allegations
and now she's gobbling a corn dog! see what I have to deal with here?? how can I keep it classy?
what's really iconic is bringing your gay son to hot topic
alice always looks a little hunched down, as if she had, idk, a giant disgusting harpy sitting on her shoulders. the more I think about it the sadder it gets
oooh, those are dorothy pigtails. i get it now.
you know, I said yesterday that agatha successfully cons jen and alice, but that's not true. she couldn't have swayed jen without billy's help, and she had alice completely wrong. she thought alice was looking for her mom, but Lorna didn't die on the Road and alice always knew it was a con - she's actually the world's biggest Road expert after agatha herself. seems like Agatha is pretty desperate and out of her depth without her mind reading powers. (wait, do we think billy is the one doing the mind reading, is that why he got to jen so easily?)
seeing her being so cruel with people's deep seated traumas is really upsetting me. especially considering how she guards her own trauma. feeling guilty afterwards is no justification, she knows exactly what she's doing.
these two need their own show. oh wait, they already have it.
but agatha saying "we don't need her" and then pushing people around in the mall - she is upset about what she just did to alice. and she's almost relieved she said no, that she gets to spare her. sweet, sad alice, so spiky on the outside, soft as a marshmallow on the inside. she did not deserve any of this. her death is entirely on agatha.
sighing and looking wistfully out of the window, she's in pain but determined to go on
meanwhile detective agnes is working hard to figure billy out, you can practically see the gears turning inside her head. I think at this point she already kind of knew, tbh. "I have a theory, but I need more."
aw
see you next for the ending of episode 2. and this time I'm giving a shoutout to @one-step-at-a-time25, who was having a lot of fun in the tags!
go to episode 2 part 4

Character Analysis: Rio Vidal
(because Aubrey Plaza currently has a chokehold on my psyche)
It hasn't been confirmed on the show, but we all know that Rio is Death, correct? They're not even being subtle about it, so I'm gonna take it from that angle.
Okay, so Rio is ageless. She prefers to take the form of Aubrey Plaza because Aubrey is a hot motherfucker. Agreed? Okay.
I have no idea when she would have come into existence, only because I have no idea the nature of Death in this universe. Is she one of many deaths? She must be, because people die all over and she has enough free time to build this hate/love relationship with Agatha, whom she finds the second the Darkhold stops hiding her.
I think she may specifically be Death for witches. She ferries magical humans to the other side, and has done since magic was first invented.
She was never a child, never a newborn. She was fully grown and cognizant from her inception, born knowing what her job was for her entire life. She existed in ancient times, seen by many mortals as different gods/goddesses. She took the shapes they'd already imagined her to have. She was Anubis, Hades, Shinigami, Osiris, Hecate, Charon...whom were all different entities, but she took their forms to bring comfort to the recently departed.
I feel like Rio had a lot of empathy for the first thousand or so years of doing this job. She listened to life stories as she ferried magical beings to their next journeys. She learned about society, about expectations, about why one might choose not to stay on the mortal coil, or why one might be taken from it by force.
She comforted the ones reticent to leave their physical bodies. She held the hands of too many young witches, taken too soon because of the fear that surrounded them. That's who she had the most empathy for: young, misunderstood witches.
Her empathy fades as humanity progresses. Witches are still persecuted, but many of them get on her nerves. They think so highly of themselves. They think they Death owes them something, that they deserve a second chance at life.
Nobody gets a second chance at life.
And while it's her job, she starts to kind of resent it. The spirits that won't leave piss her off. They disturb the living as often as they can and Rio gets blamed for it. This is why she hates ghosts.
But there's nothing she can do.
And then she meets Agatha. Agatha who is young and powerful and so scared when they first meet. Agatha, who has just caused the deaths of her entire coven. Agatha, who didn't mean to cause so much destruction; she just needs to be properly taught.
So Rio teaches her. I think they would have this kind of relationship where Rio fosters Agatha's talents, where she takes Agatha to places where she can be as destructive with her magic as she wants and nobody will judge or demonize her. And every time Agatha masters a spell or gives Rio that super proud smile, Rio falls a little more in love with her.
She revitalizes Rio's love for her job. And it's not like it's Agatha's fault that other witches keep attacking her. And it's not like she can truly control that siphoning thing every time it happens. It just is what it is.
Agatha feels bad the first time it happens, too. But then she takes on Rio's logic of "well, they shouldn't have done that then," and all is well.
Agatha is alive and safe and Rio gets more bodies to ferry, more work. She actually really loves her work, especially because it means she gets to spend more time with Agatha, who just can't stop getting attacked for some reason...
There are rules to her job, of course.
First and most important rule: Death cannot kill. It is a conflict of interest. It wouldn't be very fair to give herself more bodies to ferry. Soon enough, there would be none left. In theory, at least. It's like insider trading, in a way.
Another one: Death cannot bring back life to one who has died. That is also not fair, and it's actually not even something she can do. She isn't Life; she's Death.
And: Death must ferry souls as soon as possible to the other life. Souls that linger too long become ghosts and it gets harder for them to cross over. It's considered a failure on her part when a Spirit becomes a Ghost.
She regrets ferrying Nicholas. That was her son, too. I will entertain no other theories. She loved that kid. She was just as much his mother as Agatha was. She knew how much it would hurt Agatha, but she also knew that she couldn't allow Nicky to become a ghost. It would be a torturous existence for them both. And if Agatha had her way and reanimated his body, forcing his soul to remain there, it would be so much worse.
It is her biggest regret and the only scar she has.
She doesn't have to lick wounds to heal them. That's just something she does for Agatha. Agatha either doesn't know this or doesn't fight it. I cannot even decide which one is funnier.
Rio is more than her job, though.
She is also a bottom.
Only for Agatha.
Moving on.
When Agatha uses the Darkhold to disappear, whatever beacon spell they'd had on each other since practically the beginning of their courtship is interrupted. She cannot find Agatha. She cannot even see Agatha, not even if she was two inches from her own face. Agatha makes it so they never run into each other, no matter whom she kills.
And then Wanda gets the Darkhold and it's like a fire alarm blaring in Rio's ear. She goes immediately to Agatha's side.
Yes, immediately. You know that was not a three-season delusion that Wanda put her under. "Agnes" had many, many different TV shows running through the spellbound mind. She just wasn't broken out of it until Teen got there.
Herb was so nonchalant about her little "true crime bug" that there had to have been several different medical series, soap operas, firefighter shows, other cop shows, comedies, home improvement shows, reality shows (The Real Housewives of West View?), and a mockumentary or two that came before it.
And Rio was a guest star in all of them, willing Agatha to just wake up. But Agatha didn't recognize her. She just knew that she hated her, in every single mind show. She just hated Rio Vidal.
And Rio was just in a hell of her own making, trying desperately to break Agatha out but not knowing how.
She loves this woman so much. All the threats to kill her and telling others where to find her? Foreplay. I can totally see them trolling each other as they ran around New England, pointing fingers at one another, calling out "Witch!" and snickering as the torches are lit.
Their sex breaks down houses. They have done it in a grave. Rio attempts to murder Agatha at least twice a day at their peak; it's called flirting, Jennifer.
Agatha, obviously knowing that Rio can't actually kill her (and she cannot kill Rio for obvious reasons), feels safest when she's around. Because Rio defends her. She knows the things that Agatha has done and she loves her (not in spite of them, but sort of because of them. Girl's a freak.) anyway.
And Rio hates her mother-in-law, Evanora, with a passion. She definitely has a list of people she hates from all the souls she's had to ferry. A lot of white Puritan men are on that list for their role in the Salem Witch trials. But Evanora is #1 on that list. It's on sight for that bitch.
And I think that makes Agatha soft for Rio. Because nobody has ever defended her against her mother, for her whole childhood. Nobody except Rio.
Which is why Agatha is definitely the one who proposed.
It was a mundane kind of day. Her powers had just killed another coven. Before they attacked, however, one of the witches called Agatha a "Witch-Killer" and said that her mother had always been right about her. She'd heard of how evil Agatha was as a child and this just proved it.
Rio's hands had glowed green and as she took the woman by the throat, slamming her against a tree, screaming at her, telling her about how the true evil was the woman who hated her own child so much as to plan a whole execution after abusing her for her entire childhood. How Agatha was a survivor and so much more powerful than her mother could ever hope to be. And that witches like her had to wake up to it and--then the witch blasted Agatha and it was all over.
Rio huffed as she dropped the empty husk of a body, glaring at the spirit as it floated above it.
"That was your own fault," she said. "If you had just listened to me, none of this would have happened."
The witch just glared and Rio rolled her eyes, collecting the souls of the other witches who had attacked Agatha along with this dumb with.
"I'll be right back," she promised Agatha, who was still thrumming with magic.
"Marry me!" Agatha said as Rio disappeared.
She was halfway through with the job when the words registered in her mind. She got them across in record time, returning to find Agatha on her knees, waiting for her, a purple ring of something she'd made from magic. She was smiling up at Rio, tears in her eyes.
"What did you say?" Rio asked, her heart pounding.
"Marry me," Agatha repeated, her voice tight. "Rio Vidal, will you marry me?"
"Yes!" Rio dropped to her knees and tackled Agatha to the ground, raining kisses down on her while Agatha laughed.
And then they got married and lived happily for a century or two, until they had a son. I have no idea how Nicholas came to be. I have no idea why he is a Scratch rather than a Harkness or a Vidal. But I know he had two mommies who loved him more than anything. Rio probably never thought that she could be a wife to anybody, let alone a full mother, but she loved that boy. And she loves Agatha.
Rio has a big heart and she's a bit intense, but we love that for her.

For Old Times Sake (Loki x Witch!Reader)
Summary: Loki finds himself in need of help, and there’s only one person who can aid him with his quest. But his past actions have left him in a dubious position… Can he convince you to aid him? For old times sake…
Rating: SFW/All ages, mentions/threats of violence, possibly a little suggestive?
A/N: Inspired by Agatha x Rio/Agatha All Along, lovers to enemies leaning trope, ‘complicated history’. Mainly angst, but also romantic in a ‘I hate you but I really love you’ kinda way. AU, set after ‘Thor The Dark World’ and references back to pre-Thor. Gender neutral reader.
Divider by @whimsicalrogers
Loki took a breath, his azure eyes fixed on the sign above the quaint book store on the side of a quiet street in the city. It had been a few weeks since the God of Mischief had faked his death on Svartalfheim in front of his brother and his… mortal. Even though he had aided Thor in trying to stop the Dark Elves, getting them to the enemy realm in the first place, he couldn’t trust that as soon as he returned back to Asgard he wouldn’t just get thrown straight back into his cell by Odin. The All-Father had been quick enough to throw him in a cell and leave him to rot over a year ago, and Loki had no doubt he would be willing to do so again. Especially with his mother now being…
It was a desperate attempt once again for some control, for some agency over his own life. But also, he was the God of Mischief, I mean… What did they expect? Besides, he was rather proud of the performance he had put on for his brother. But since then, he had been lying low, keeping out of Heimdall’s all-seeing eyes with a simple spell. But it was a temporary solution. Technically, all spells were but there was only so long that the one he had cast could go unnoticed by Asgard’s gatekeeper before he could see through it, begin to sense him. It needed to be stronger… And more permanent. And unfortunately for Loki, that meant seeking help… From a witch who was rather knowledgeable on such magic.
You. It would’ve always been you. A green witch. One that he had… history with. Another person he had once betrayed. ‘It was long ago, surely they can’t still be holding such a grudge?’
With a sigh, Loki glanced briefly left and right before walking towards the door to the store, smoothing his sleek, black suit jacket with one hand. He knew it was a risk, coming to see you… To ask you for help. It also bristled at his pride, of course… But the alternative of being discovered by Asgard, or even one worse - Thanos - was rather… unfavourable to the God.
Pushing the painted dark blue wooden door open, the bell above it chimed, that specific smell that book stores held reaching his nose in a way that was oddly comforting. He took a breath, stepping inside as the door closed behind him, his steps slow and cautious. It was quiet, save for the sound of movement further into the store. He felt a mix of trepidation and thrill at the fact he would see you again after so many years. The last time he saw you was before… well, everything.
The bell above the door of the store dinged as you put another book from your cart onto the shelf, unable to see the door from where you were behind the bookcase. You heard the bell at the counter ring out, signifying that someone needed help. You sighed, putting the book you had in your hand back onto the cart before you began to move out from behind the bookcase. ‘It better not be Mrs Jones, here to complain once again that she didn’t like the book she had willingly picked and paid for, only to want to return it after owning it for months.’ Mrs Jones had quickly become your mortal enemy.
However, as you rounded the corner, you spotted an all too familiar figure stood at the counter, his back to you. You froze for a moment, eyes widening. ‘It can’t be him. Right?’ That raven hair… You took a quiet breath, feeling your heart quicken in your chest. However, as the person turned their head slightly to the right, clearly sensing someone behind him, you caught sight of their profile.
‘It is him.’
It wasn’t long before the shock morphed into irritation— No, anger. ‘The nerve!’ You instantly creased your brows, lips pursing as you stalked towards the counter, making your footsteps loud enough for Loki to hear your approach. As he slowly turned to look at you, you narrowed your eyes, coming to a stop before him.
“What the hell are you doing here?” You asked lowly, your fingers twitching at your sides as you allowed a flicker of emerald magic to appear at your fingertips. “You have some nerve.” There was no mistaking the venom in your voice, the years of being sat with his betrayal, the consequences… It all began bubbling closer towards the surface.
Loki’s expression shifted into one of charm and nonchalance, his signature smirk tugging at his lips at the sight of you - your clear anger. Your sharp glare reminded him of just how fierce you could be, and if he was a mere mortal, he would possibly consider leaving. But he was Loki, the God of Mischief. And he wasn’t one to back down from a confrontation, not when he was a rather good diplomat and possessed a silver tongue. Besides, a part of him relished in seeing you so riled up, even if your scorn was aimed at him.
“It’s good to see you too.” Loki mused smoothly, an undercurrent is his familiar mischief in his voice. “It’s been… Quite a while, hasn’t it?” He tilted his head faintly as he regarded you. His posture remained relaxed, yet his mind remained sharp, ready for anything you may throw his way - or ready for any punch you may attempt to throw at him.
You clenched your jaw slightly at his nonchalance, finding it particularly insulting after what he had done. How dare he just waltz in here, acting as if he didn’t utterly stab me in the back all those years ago.
“As for why I’m here, well truth be told, I find myself in need of…” Loki paused, raising his chin faintly, as if the word he was about to say was difficult. “Assistance…” He uttered the word quietly, a hint of reluctance in his tone. A moment of silence fell between them before you let out a humourless, breathy laugh.
“You must have a death wish.” You murmured, a hint of warning in your voice. At the flick of your wrist, you summoned a small, black handled dagger, your free hand moving to his chest as you shoved him back against the counter, the dagger raising to under his chin - not quite touching, but close enough in a threat and a warning. Loki remained calm, a flicker of amusement going through his eyes at your boldness. You took a sharp breath at the sight.
“And why on earth would I want to help you?” You raised a brow, tilting your head faintly, keeping him trapped between you and the counter. “You who betrayed me…” Your grip tightened on the handle of your dagger, a small snarl curling at your lips. “I should kill you.”
Loki couldn’t help but let out a small, rumbling chuckle, his lips widening into an almost cat-like grin. “Be my guest.” He shrugged lightly, unfazed by the threat of the blade under his chin. “But it appears there is a line. And technically… I’m already dead.” Your brows twitched at that, unaware of the lengths Loki had gone to escape his imprisonment, his consequences. Slowly, he raised his hand, his slender fingers wrapping around your wrist. It was gentle, his cool touch against your skin. Although, he made no move to lower your hand.
“You see… I thought perhaps you would find some… satisfaction in having me beg for your help.” His voice dropped to a near whisper, holding a hint of intimacy that felt nostalgic to the complex past you once shared.
“I don’t hear much begging.” You spoke as low as he, holding his gaze unwaveringly, your body still close to his as you kept him caged. Loki’s lips twitched ever so slightly into a smirk, lifting his head higher as he looked at you through his lashes, baring his throat in an almost vulnerable yet powerful manner. Perhaps even a challenge. Your name fell from his lips, almost softly.
“I implore you to listen to my plight… and consider my request.” He murmured, eyes flickering to your lips briefly, not going unnoticed by you, his fingers around your wrist sliding upwards ever so slowly to rest over your hand, holding the hilt of the dagger with you.
“Please.”
Your lips pursed, the simple word hanging in the air between you. You hated the way your skin tingled at his touch, the coolness of his fingers against your warm skin. It stirred memories you had long forgotten, that your anger had readily converted for so long, twisting into falsehoods and misremembering.
“You must be desperate to risk seeking me out.” You finally spoke, eyes flickering over his face, searching for any signs of deception. Loki couldn’t help but let out a breath, one of wry amusement.
“You have no idea.”
“I think that’s everything.”
Loki clasped his hands behind his back, having just filled you in on everything that had occurred since you last saw him, albeit it vaguely. He’d told you about how he had acquired the throne of Asgard, before finding himself in a ‘partnership of sorts’ with Thanos for his attempt to rule Earth - which you had, of course, already been aware of. It wasn’t like you could miss it. His face was plastered all over the news, New York was being evacuated as a giant alien army destroyed it. He’d also explained his current predicament, the fact he had been thrown into a cell on Asgard by Odin before Thor came to him for help to fight the Dark Elves… in which then he chose to fake his death, to allow his people, his family to think him dead and gone.
You shook your head faintly in disbelief, leaning against the counter with your arms folded, dagger sat on its shiny surface. Truthfully, you had heard him out because you were curious. Curious about what had happened to him in those years, especially after witnessing the events of New York. But you could feel there was more.
“Liar.” You finally uttered, raising a brow. You could sense that he was holding back. Loki’s eyes narrowed slightly, he always did hate how you could see through him. “What else?”
Loki took a sharp breath, unclasping his hands as they moved to his sides, one drifting to smooth the front of his suit jacket - an almost nervous habit, a way to try and keep his outward appearance composed to disguise the storm of thoughts within his mind. You sighed, rolling your eyes as you picked up your dagger once more, shrugging. “Well, I suppose I’ll just continue with my original plan to kill you then.” You took a step towards him, the God raising his hand to hold up in a ‘wait’ gesture.
“Okay, alright-“ He breathed out, nodding faintly. You paused, raising a brow expectantly. “That isn’t exactly… everything.” Loki pursed his lips, gaze flickering to the dagger in your hand before meeting your eyes again.
And so, Loki told you of the truths he had kept hidden; how he had discovered he was not Asgardian, but Jotun, taken by Odin as a babe with hopes of one day restoring peace between the two realms. He also told you of his mother’s death, still rather fresh. And you hated how you felt a twinge of sympathy, of pain for him, anger on his behalf. You shouldn’t care. Not after what he did to you. Your anger refused to let you forget that so easily.
“Sounds like it’s been hard.” You raised a brow, nodding faintly, holding his gaze. “Complicated.” A shrug. “Lonely…” The word was spoken quietly, dagger still in hand as you once again took a slow step towards him. Loki’s keen eyes flickered over you, reading the lingering tension in your frame. “I mean, you were lied to… Betrayed by those you thought you could trust… Possibly even felt abandoned?” It clicked into place for Loki, his gaze dropping to the floor for a moment, feeling the faintest tug of guilt in his chest. You noticed. You took another step closer. Your name fell from his lips again, softer this time, but you cut him off.
“Do you even know what happened after you left? To me?” You asked, brows furrowing faintly. You used your dagger to gesture to yourself, the tip pointing at your chest. Loki remained silent. “I don’t know what would be worse… If you did know and chose to stay away, or if you didn’t because you didn’t care enough to find out.” His eyes snapped up to meet yours again, a hint of defensiveness appearing in his sharp features. He wanted to rebuff your words, but he couldn’t. He didn’t know, but it wasn’t because he didn’t care… It was… quite the opposite.
“And judging by your silence…” You let out a brief humourless laugh. “I would say it was the second option, hm?” You shook your head subtly. “Why don’t I tell you then?” In a flash, you were once again stood before him, one hand grasping the fabric of his suit jacket tightly, the other still wrapped around your dagger as you pointed it towards his chest. Loki didn’t react, his expression unreadable. Even as he tried to remain detached, nonchalant, you could see the flicker of apprehension in his eyes. You stood close, close enough that you could see every minute detail on his face, every small micro-expression… Just as he could see yours.
“After you betrayed me, my coven deemed me a traitor, unfit.” You began lowly, voice barely above a whisper. “I was exiled, hexed, left with weakened magic.” Loki blinked, jaw twitching. “All because I helped you.” A tense pause. “And now you come here… to ask for my help once more?” You tilted your head faintly, eyes narrowing dangerously. “No…” You whispered, leaning ever so slightly closer. Loki didn’t flinch, remaining calm despite the regret he could feel spreading through him. “How about we make your faked death a reality?”
You knew you couldn’t do it. But you wanted to make him believe you could.
You pulled back the dagger, as if you were going to strike him, already knowing he would be one step ahead. His form quickly shimmered from your grasp, a faint smirk tugging at your lips before you whirled around, seeing the trickster with his signature green magic summoned at his fingertips a few feet away. “Surely being truly dead would solve all your problems?” You mused sardonically, raising a brow. “This is me helping you.”
Loki let out a heavy sigh, clicking his tongue. “You’re much more drawl than you used to be.” He remarked, flicking his wrist as the dagger in your hand flew out of your grip, landing across the room on the floor with a metallic clink. You let out a low snarl, your own magic flickering to life.
“Oh, I can be far more drawl than that.” You quipped. “How about… I cut out your heart?” You continued, as if you were merely discussing the weather and not ways you would murder the God of Mischief. “If I can locate it.” You sent a blast of emerald magic towards him, the trickster deftly countering it with his own.
“And they say I’m the dramatic one.” Loki mumbled under his breath, sighing once again. “Look, I understand, you’re upset-“ He tried to reason, but you simply laughed.
“Upset?” You repeated in a scoff. “I’m livid!” You exclaimed, sending another blast of magic towards him, the God stepping out of its path as it hit a nearby bookcase, creating a charred mark on the spines and wooden shelf.
“Now you’re just destroying perfectly good books.” Loki quipped, gesturing towards it with one of his hands. You hated that apart of you had missed this, missed his… wry, incessant commentary.
“Then stay still!” You growled, frustrated, drawing as much power as you could muster from what your coven had left you with. Your fingertips flew a brighter green, and just as you were about to send the powerful wave towards him, you saw his eyes flash emerald. Your eyes widened faintly, knowing exactly what he was doing. But it was too late, before you could react, you felt your wrists be suddenly grabbed and pulled to the sides, rendering them useless. You couldn’t see them, but you knew they were there. His shadows.
“Why don’t you take a breath, hm?” Loki let his own magic dissipate from his fingers, taking a small step closer to you.
“Bite me.” You hissed back, making the God raise an amused brow.
“Maybe later.” He smirked, making you roll your eyes. You struggled slightly against his shadows grip, even if you knew it was futile. After a moment of struggling, you let out a sound of frustration, the fight slowly going out of you. Your chest heaved with heavy breaths, your features shifting into something more vulnerable. Loki noticed, his smirk fading. The consequences of his actions were always something he ran from, refused to take accountability for… But this was… different.
It was you.
Loki took a quiet breath, steeling himself for the words he was about to say.
“I’m sorry.”
Your breaths stilled for a second, turning quieter, your eyes flickering up to look at him. His features had shifted into something more sincere, more… reflective. Loki waved his hand, the shadows disappearing as your hands fell back to your sides, freeing you.
“You are right. I didn’t know.” He admitted, referring to your earlier words about him having not cared to find out how his past actions had affected you. “But it wasn’t because I didn’t care.” You almost scoffed, but seeing the way his blue eyes bored into yours… Intense and strangely raw… You refrained. Loki took another tentative step closer. “A part of me… Didn’t bother to look because perhaps I already knew the consequences you would face for my betrayal.” He continued lowly, honestly. “But another part of me… Cared too much to know.” A pause. “‘Never look, never know’ I believe is the sentiment.”
Silence stretched between you, Loki giving you a moment to process his words, his honest explanation. Even if he knew it wasn’t good enough. He didn’t expect you to forgive him, but possibly understand to some degree. He watched you closely, seeing the way your brows relaxed ever so faintly, the tension in your frame ebbing. He took it as a more positive sign, choosing to continue.
“It wasn’t long ago that I believed sentiment was a weakness, and I still do believe it in some measure.” He murmured. “But losing my moth- Frigga-“ He corrected, sighing as his brows creased slightly, pain glinting in his gaze. “It… makes one realise certain things.” He breathed out. “And I realise that… Self preservation, whilst in my nature, is not always the best and can lead to further harm and consequences that cannot be so easily forgotten or forgiven.”
You bit your lower lip gently, chewing at it lightly, your mind racing from his words. You hated how your anger began to fade, how it began to retreat into the recesses of your mind and heart, understanding and even empathy taking its place. You too understood the need for self preservation, the need to lash out, to react… Hurt others before they can hurt you. He had taught you that. Your coven had taught you that…
“I have not come here expecting forgiveness.” Loki took another step closer, more confidently this time, his posture more open and relaxed than before. “And I know I have no right to ask you to help me.” His eyes trailed over your features, searching. “But… I beg of you.” It was barely above a whisper, almost breathy. “Grant me this one request, help me remain out of sight from those who wish to cage me… And afterwards, I will leave you be if that is what you desire.” He offered, even if part of him hoped that it wasn’t. That you wanted him to stick around, to try and reconcile the past. “For old times sake.” He added, the faintest of smiles tugging at his lips, as if he himself was remembering exactly that - the old times. The time before he had completely destroyed any trust between you.
You swallowed the small lump in your throat, clearing it softly. He was a lie-smith, a silver-tongue, manipulative and charming… Yet, his offer, his plea, felt genuine. Perhaps it the most genuine you had ever seen the trickster be. And that complicated history between you both implored you to agree, to grant him his quest for help. You let out a slow breath, straightening, seeking to regain some semblance of your composure.
“If I help you…” You began tentatively, arching a brow. “I need assurances.” Loki couldn’t help but feel a hint of respect and almost admiration at that. It seemed he had taught you well. He gave a brief nod. “I want you to help me get back what I lost.” You stated simply, determination in your gaze. “Not my coven, they can go to hell for all I care-“ You added, raising your chin slightly, Loki’s lips tugging into an amused smirk. “But my power. I want it back. All of it.”
Loki let out a thoughtful hum, taking the last step closer before he was stood directly before you. His presence was as comforting as it was unsettling, quite the contradiction… But it seemed that was something that always followed you both - contradictions.
“I’m sure I can… come up with something.” Loki finally spoke, low, an intimate timbre to his voice. “After all, I am the God of Mischief, am I not?” He mused, a playful tease.
“But-“ You added, tilting your head. “If you betray me again…” You narrowed your eyes, a dramatic pause. “You’ll wish you had accepted your fate from Asgard.” Loki couldn’t help but feel a little thrill, the fierce promise lingering in the air between you. He knew what you were capable of, just as you knew what he was capable of. You were both dangerous to one another. Loki’s lips slowly curled into a feline grin.
“Don’t tempt me so.” He replied smoothly, oozing that mischievous charm you knew all too well. “Are you sure you’re a witch and not a demon?” He teased, making you roll your eyes again, however, you couldn’t prevent the faintest smirk that pulled at the corner of your mouth. “Or maybe you are just… bewitching in your threats…”
“You’re already making me regret my decision.” You muttered with a sigh, shaking your head. You stepped to the side, moving to go around him, trying to put some distance between you, but Loki’s hand shot out, grabbing your wrist - firmly but gently. He halted your movement, shifting on his feet to stand before you once again, this time even closer. His thumb brushed your pulse point, barely noticeable, but you felt it.
Loki’s gaze was intense, his blue eyes searching yours as he could feel the way your pulse had quickened. That small thing was significant to him. It meant that the door wasn’t fully closed, not truly. Truthfully, there wasn’t a day that went by that Loki didn’t miss you. Even if it was buried beneath his aloofness, his self preservation and denial of sentiment… But it seemed there was hope after all.
“And for the record…” Loki murmured. “My heart is located in the exact same place as yours.” His eyes flickered down to your lips, subtle and quick, but you noticed it. “So, you wouldn’t have any trouble in finding it, if you do find yourself inclined to ‘cut it out’.” There was a hint of wry humour underlying his words, but you could read between the lines.
‘I feel the same as you. I do have a heart.’
After a few moments, you cleared your throat, gently tugging your wrist from his hold, the God allowing you to do so. You let out a quiet breath, pursing your lips. “Good.” You breathed out, nodding faintly. “I do hate when I have to dig around for it.” You wryly quipped back in return, Loki letting out a breathy chuckle in response.
“Do you often find yourself cutting out the hearts of those who betrayed you?” He asked in amusement, cocking a playful brow.
“No.” You murmured. “I reserve it only for those who are special.”
For old times sake.

Hello! I'm not a furry either so I'm not sure how I stumbled upon your art, but I'm glad I did because I love everything you do for Machete and Vasco and I admire your art and how much effort you put in fleshing them out. They're gorgeous, and your colouring style is very pretty, too! I'd like to ask some things about them, if you don't mind.
1) Are they specific dog breeds? (I remember you said you're inspired by Borzoi fur for Machete's neck fur!)
2) Are dogs your favourite animal to draw?
3) How did you decide on their names?
The question about the names is because, fun fact: Vasco is an extremely popular football team from Rio de Janeiro, and right now they're competing in Brazil's largest football championship to become the country's champion. So I've been imagining Vasco dragging Machete to a football match and being wildly into it while Machete looks lost in the rambunctious crowd lol but also because I'd like to know if you're applying a nationality to them at all. Their clothes have picked my curiosity!
Thanks for sharing your art with us!
Ah, thank you! I'm glad you like my art and little guys.
1. Both of their breeds are fictional.
Vasco is a scenthound type of dog, if you applied Segugio Italiano's colors to Ariégeois/Porcelaine bodytype you'd get very close to what he's supposed to look like.
Machete is a sighthound and his closest real life counterpart would be Ibizan hound. He's mostly just a little fluffier here and there.
2. Yes, dogs are my favorite thing to draw. Canines in general. Sighthounds in particular.
3. I created Machete almost 16 years ago, I think I was simply reading about weapons and thought the word sounded sharp and had a good rhythm to it. In-universe "Machete" isn't his real name at all, it's something of a mean-spirited epithet/nickname he's acquired from his colleagues (mostly for being efficient at powering through mountains of thankless work, his severe (and increasingly cut-throatish) personality and the fact that he's originally from the part of Italy that was ruled by Spain at the time). His actual name (the one Vasco uses) hasn't been revealed.
I had liked the name Vasco long before I assigned it to this character, to me it sounds friendly and energetic but also noble somehow (but that's just my impression, I don't know any Vascos personally). One of the deciding factors was his color palette, I wanted to aim for shades that would resemble gold. In Finnish, "vaski" is an archaic term for warm colored metals like brass, bronze and copper. It's far fetched in retrospective but when the connection popped in my head I had to go for it.
As for the nationalities, they're both Italian. Vasco is a proud Florentine and Machete is originally Sicilian and now lives in Rome.
I can see how Vasco would be into football, Machete less so.

you had never felt any more intimidated and nervous than you did right now as you sat down with miles' family for dinner. you had partners before and met their parents, it wasn't all so bad; you actually had fond memories of those people and sometimes would reminisce how kind they'd treat you, how they'd welcome you into their families and give you a home away from your home when you'd need it. however, when it came to miles' family... it was so-so.
his uncle aaron, without a doubt, was one of the nicest father figures you had ever encountered in your whole life. he was a sweet man who cared for miles and would, be proxy, care about you, too. he'd tease you and miles when he'd see you two together in the most low-key ways and still make miles lose all his cool and stoic composure around you when his uncle would expose how much he talks about you.
"this kid can't ever go through another day without thinking about you. like seriously, all i did was take him to the convenience store downtown and i see him with all these snacks i've never seen him eat before, snacks he told me he hates with a burning passion. i look at him and ask him why he's got those snacks, and he mutters under his breath... 'these're for them, not for me.' how cute of my nephew, no?" he said with a chuckle as miles glared up at his uncle and pouted at him, with you giggling at the story as everyone but his mother was laughing about that little anecdote.
uncle aaron nudged rio a little, to which she shot him a glare similar to miles' and muttered something under her breath in spanish. uncle aaron sighed as some tension was caught in the air and enveloped the entire dinner table, with no one else uttering another word or sound as you all ate in silence. you felt rio's gaze on you at times while you all ate, and unlike the other mothers you had encountered with your previous partners, she had a gaze that felt a little... judgemental, in a way?
you felt pretty self-conscious as rio looked at you, and you felt yourself jump slightly in your seat when she'd ask you questions about you and her son. she called your name randomly, shattering the silence and causing the hairs on the back of your neck to stand up as you nearly sprang up from your seat in utter surprise. "y-yes rio?" you asked her as she winced, as if she heard a discordant tune when you uttered her first name. without even looking up from her plate, she asked you, "did you know miles got a b in spanish? ay, i'm proud of you, mijo, though... you usually do so much better than that. i'm worried, have you been missing classes recently? and do you know anything about it?" she asked you as she turned her gaze up at you, causing you to freeze up and instinctively shake your head.
miles breathed out a small huff as he tried to think of a reason to give his own mother, who he promised he'd never lie to, as his uncle aaron tried to tell rio that maybe now wasn't the right time to talk about it, but rio told him in spanglish that now was as good a time as any, she had to know if her son was being distracted by... she didn't dare finish that thought. she looked over at you then at miles and raised an eyebrow. "so? is no one gonna tell me anything?" she asked the two of you as you bit the inside of your cheek, feeling pretty intimidated by her right now. "mama, it's nothing, i promise you, i--" "it's nothing?" "oh, no." uncle aaron muttered as he silently excused himself and left the table with his plate in hand, gesturing to you to follow what he did and to seek refuge into the kitchen, away from the mother and son.
you did as he directed and excused yourself, nearly stumbling out of your chair as rio's eyes followed you with a kind of suspicious gleam in those hazel eyes of hers. indistinct conversation and arguments between the mother and son were heard, with the sound of running water, the squeaking and setting down of plates being tuning their voices out as you gratuitously helped uncle aaron wash the dishes. "hey, sorry about them, miles' mom hasn't been in the best mood lately." he muttered to you as you nodded. "i-i understand, aaron. it's really okay..." you murmured back as you both finished, with uncle aaron wishing you a good night as he disappeared into the garage doing who knows what.
as you exited the kitchen, you heard rio's muffled voice from the dining room mention your name, and you walked over in a morbid kind of curiosity to know why she mentioned you when she was scolding miles; though a part of you thought of why, you hoped what you thought of wouldn't be the case. "sé honesto, ¿te estás distrayendo con ellos?" she asked miles with a stern voice as miles looked down at the ground, clearly frustrated, but wasn't about to run his mouth off at his own mother. he shook his head and murmured, "mi amante no tiene la culpa de lo que me ha estado pasando, mama."
rio sighed exasperatedly as she looked at her son in disbelief. "and you mean that? you seriously... look, mijo, no quiero hacerte infeliz, y sé que crees que entiendes lo que es bueno para ti, pero… no puedo permitir que ellos te pongan en peligro. they might... not be a good influence on you." she said with a soft voice as miles looked up at her with an incredulous expression on his face. "mama, you have no idea who they really are." he said as rio kept talking to him, but he stormed off on her. she called for her son repeatedly, but he marched into his room, with her sighing aloud and storming off herself, too.
you felt a heavy weight on your shoulders as your anxieties and worries over what miles' mother thought of you were realized; she doesn't trust you, and she doesn't think you're good for her son. you felt so weak in the knees at that moment, thinking that you would never be able to love miles freely without his mother intervening or trying to convince him you're not right for him, that you're a distraction for him. you didn't want any conflict between the two anymore, so you thought of a way to end their feud peacefully, and the only way that'd work was... one neither of you would particularly like.
you snuck upstairs to miles' room and gently rapped at his door, muttering that you were there, and that you wanted to talk to him. miles opened his door a crack, and when he could confirm it was you, he opened the door wider and gently took your hand in his. "cielo," he greeted you softly with a light squeeze of your hand as he looked at you. "am i ever glad to see you." he said as he led you into his room, with you reciprocating his touch and squeezing his hand back. he gestured for you to sit down on the side of his bed as he sat down, with you following him and sitting down on the plush of his bed.
he brushed a few hairs from your forehead and kept his gaze on you as you looked down at the floor, unsure of how to tell him what you were articulating to yourself in your head; unsure of how he'd take it, if he even will be able to. you sighed a little longer than you planned to, causing miles to pull away from you and have worry drawn on his face as he tried getting a better look at your expression. "cielo, are you okay? did something happen...?" he asked you as you shook your head gently. "nothing, nothing, i..." you began, but you stopped yourself, trying to think of how to tell him all over again as all you could think of at that moment was that: miles' mother doesn't think you're any good for him.
you took a deep breath and faced him with saddened eyes. "i'm sorry, miles, i just... i don't think you should be dating me anymore. it's not because of you, of course not, it's... it's on me." you whispered, with miles feeling like he took a blow to the gut, feeling utterly helpless and confused at what you just told him. he wasn't sure what you meant by 'it was your fault', but he wanted to let you know right now that you weren't at fault, for whatever it was that'd come between you two.
miles appeared a little more hurt and distressed by what you told him, the matter at hand still not sinking in, that you told him you'd break up with him... he couldn't, wouldn't, believe it. "what? amor, what do you mean? 'your fault'? i doubt that..." he began as he tried to reassure you, feeling himself coming undone at the seams and desperate to know why you wanted to part ways with him. was it because he couldn't spend as much time with you as before? because he was too busy with his job as the prowler to be with you? if you only told him, then... then he'd find ways to make it work, not make you feel alone ever again, make up for what he lacked in the past by working hard for you now in the present.
"is it... is it because i'm not able to spend much time with you as before? mi vida, i'm sorry... i'll make up for it, i promise!" he said as you shook your head. "no, miles... it's not your fault. it's mine, even if you don't say it is." you said with a melancholic voice as miles looked at you with feebleness filling his face as he tried to understand how it's your fault for anything. he defended you in front of his mother the best he could, and yet... he'd still lose you in the end, if not the argument.
you couldn't figure out how to tell miles that you didn't wish to break up, you wanted to be with him still, but there was no better way of getting his mom and him to make up if you were still in the picture. you heard his mom say it himself, you didn't seem like a good influence on him, and maybe her behavior towards you was a sign that you really weren't being good to miles, good to his parents, and just... weren't good in general. you sighed, trying to keep the tears from flowing as miles tried to tell you that if you really wanted to break up with him, he'd respect your decision, but... he begs of you to tell him how it's your fault.
you felt your heart throb and your throat flare up as you tried to stifle your cries and sobs. "i'm just, i'm not good for you, okay, miles? i'm sorry... you deserve better." you told him in a quieted voice as you got up and went over to his door, about to leave him and give him an easier time with his family than stay with him and just ruin his relationship with his mom even more.
"espera, mi cielo! hold on a minute, can't we talk about this...?" he called out to you as you opened the door to leave, to keep yourself away from miles to keep him and his mother from getting angry at each other and fighting all over again. however, when you opened the door, you saw a familiar face look back at you, and a familiar voice shrieking in surprise--it was miles' mom, who was eavesdropping on you two. you shrieked at his mom's shrieking, as miles shrieked at your shrieking.
"mama!" miles exclaimed as he saw his mom at the doorway, with her telling the two of you to calm down, and that nobody needs to break up with anybody. "i'm... i'm sorry i eavesdropped, but i came here to... to say sorry, mijo, and... i'm sorry to you, too." she said as she turned to look at you with guilt and shame in her eyes. "you didn't deserve to hear all that... i shouldn't have said that." she muttered as she looked at the two of you. she leaned against the doorway and sighed as she began to speak again, looking around miles' room.
"i didn't mean that you were a bad influence, i just... i default to worrying about what miles could be doing because, you're a teenager, miles--you're both teens and... you both wanna do your own things. it worries me when miles doesn't tell me anything, it makes me feel like i'm failing as a mom when... i'm the only parent you have now." she said in a soft voice as she looked at miles sadly and up at you. she sat down next to miles on the bed and held his hand. "i wish you could just be honest with me." she muttered to him as miles looked at her with sadness in his eyes. "i am being honest with you, mom. you don't even... you don't even know how amazing my partner is, you hardly give them a chance, and that's what hurts me every time." he said as you looked at the two of them.
miles' mom got up from the bed and placed her fingers underneath your chin and lifted your head up to look at her and sighed. "i'm so sorry i judged you too quickly, i just... mom instincts kicked in, and... i got a little carried away and thought i knew what was good for my baby boy, but... i guess i don't know as much anymore. maybe... i'd know him better if i trusted him, if i trusted you." she said with a slight smile on her face as you gave her a slight smile back. "again, i'm so, so sorry for how i was earlier, and... just, in general." she uttered as you nodded. "it's okay, mrs. morales." you told her as she smiled wider and pulled away from you. "y'know what, that just made my evening much better. i think i like you a bit better already. 'mrs.' morales, finally." she said with a slight chuckle as you chuckled back at her little quip, with miles smiling to himself as he finally witnessed you two get along. she let miles keep dating and seeing you, only if he promises to get his grades back up to how they were before.
as his mom left the room, miles told her you two needed to talk, alone. she understood, but reminded him not to lock the door. "lo tengo, mamá, entendido." he said as he closed the door the minute she headed down into the hallway, leaving you both in an awkward silence after you two had 'broken up' a few minutes ago. before miles could say anything, you wrapped him in a big hug, muttering under your breath how happy you were to be with him, that his mom finally accepted you. miles slowly reciprocated your hug, holding you close and kissing the top of your head as he smiled against your hair. he was beyond happy and relieved to know his mom finally saw you as a person he loved, not as a distraction to him or a bad influence, just someone he cared a lot about to devote himself to, someone he wouldn't leave nor let anyone, not even his own mom or uncle, get in the way of him loving ceaselessly.
he gets that his mom just wants what's best for him, but... maybe it was time for him to decide what's best for him on his own, and that'd be to love you with all his heart and stay by your side, never leaving you once because he loves you too much to let you go that easily.

I had read a fic of yours where Batson was Australian, I don't know if you have other requests like this but if you accept, make one with Batson being Brazilian and he likes football, carnival and who likes to listen and dance to music by the great diva Anitta
Okay, that's cool. I never really knew a lot about Brazil, but I love learning more about it. Bruce is really mister worldwide lol.
Summary: (Y/N) is Brazilian.
Warnings: none
According to Jason, Bruce has become mister Worldwide. Why, I might hear you asking? He, as a playboy, sleeps with a lot of women. One of those women was a Brazilian model and the two had a son together. Bruce took a DNA first because he didn't want to take any type of chances.
It wouldn't be a first time that a woman tried to claim that a kid was his, but wasn't. Turns out, DNA came back telling him that (Y/N) was his son. Thankfully, the woman was very understanding and Bruce sent her money every month and he would visit when he could.
Unfortunately, (Y/N)'s mom passed away when he was a teen and he came to live in the USA with his father and half brothers. It was a little bit weird at first, a new city, a father who is a vigilante, his brothers too, a butler who is their handler so to speak...
Either way, it was weird, but he was happy to be here with his family. That was something that he thought that Americans were lacking sometimes. That feeling of tight nit love and family. His family, including grandmas, grandpas, aunts and much more lived within a walking distance from him.
Okay, that may sound like Americans don't share that same sentiment about family, but (Y/N) didn't really see it. It may that in Brazil that is just amplified by 10 or it could be something else of course. However, his family is tight knit and very loving.
(Y/N) didn't think that he would have that here in America, but hey, he can't really complain can he.
However, there is a single thing he will fight until the day he dies. His fellow Brazilian men and women, his brothers and sisters would agree. Soccer is not football. Football is football, you play with your feet. That's why is so popular.
And that's why Europeans and Latinos went nuts for it. Honestly, (Y/N) watches every game with Brazil's national team, even if Bruce had to pay more for the program. He has the money. He can't let his son suffer, can he?
Also, American Football should be named American Soccer, because the ball is never on the ground. (Y/N) will die by that statement and he will fight everyone he needs to fight with to prove it.
Until his last breath and last drop of blood.
One thing he loves more than anything, alongside the football of course, is the famous Rio de Janeiro carnival. He made Bruce and the rest of the family go every single year with him. Thankfully, he still has his Brazilian passport with him.
And the family has a translator for when they go, because not a lot of people speak English, only in bigger cities and popular tourist sites. It's fun to see (Y/N) speak his native language with so much passion and everyone has decided to learn it to talk to (Y/N).
(Y/N) was proud and nothing but supportive, even though at times they were butchering the language, but it's always the thought that matters. And Portuguese is an easier language to pick up. (Y/N) even had some rewards for them.
Every time they could hold a some what correct conversation when it comes to grammar and vocabulary, they would get a dish from the Brazilian cuisine. It's the famous Feijoada and it's just (Y/N)'s favorite. Everyone loved when (Y/N) made it and it was with his grandma's recipe.
That's what motivated them to learn, because even Damian swore by that dish and he loved it the most. Bruce and the rest loved it, it was different then the rest of the American cuisine. Of course, (Y/N) introduced them to another dishes, but everyone loved the Feijoada.
(Y/N) knew it.
One thing he loves is listening to Anitta. He loves her music and they would often find him dancing while he was cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and other times. It made him happy and Bruce found (Y/N) humming the melody and the lyrics every day.
Everyone soon knew the lyrics to the songs and the melody. And besides, they are all learning Portuguese and it was fun to learn it that way. Dick found her songs great and listened to it during his workouts and Dick loved it.
And one thing that Bruce was proud of was the fact that (Y/N) didn't decided to assimilate. He still has his values and he wasn't afraid to say that he is Brazilian. If he has an interview he is often found correcting people and he is not afraid to say it.
Due to the fact that he is not afraid to say he is from Brazil, people of Brazil have claimed him and whenever he comes, they just shower him with love. He is extremely popular and Bruce knows he shouldn't worry about it, but still.
Bruce worries about his children all of the time, especially when they are in another country, especially on vacation. (Y/N) often told him not to worry and did Bruce listen?
No.
One thing more thing that made Bruce love Brazil more than anything in this world is the fact that they take their hygiene more than some Americans do. (Y/N) said to everyone that during the summer he would take 3 showers per day sometimes.
Damian found that interesting. Brazil is a humid and hot country, considering that it's a tropical country and the heat is often unforgiving.
(Y/N) said that the shower made him slow down and think about relaxing. He often clears his head and feels less stress afterwards. He has explained the shower routine, but still, the family they don't really understand it, but hey, as long (Y/N) is happy.
And one thing that Brazilians love doing that Bruce found nice was the way that they are affectionate. Kisses, hugs and touching. Of course, with consent. (Y/N) understood that not really liked it, but his family loved it.
Damian would often get picked randomly and hugged from behind. Damian would often grumble about it, but he loved it. Bruce loved the hugs and the rest loved the hugs too.
Bruce was just happy that one of them was normal emotionally. (Y/N) was trained in martial arts to protect himself, like everyone, but decided to not be a vigilante. He just couldn't be and Bruce respected it.
(Y/N) was their safety net and nobody would have it any other way.

yeah uhhhh Optimus and Elita's sparklings for my goofy ass AU
(i suck at making names and stories omg, and im still working on their alt modes)
Elariel is older than Trion by two stellar cycles, making her older than Terminus by three. She enjoys writing and mathematical things like her dad does since she spends more time with him than Elita, but would not want to be the same kind of scientist he was. She'd rather be an astronomer, and venture across the stars. Although, her dreams and hobbies do not match her personality. She's really confident, loud but not that annoying kind of loud, and if someone messes with her or any of her friends or family, she's ready to throw hands. So she's the one who pretty much protects the others from any kind of trouble, and handles it REALLY well. But after fights, arguments and beef of such she does get a lecture coming home, and it's happened too many times she's used to it. Elita is proud of her for doing so but Optimus is still concerned and worried.
Trion is pretty much the same, but does more strong arguments than actual combat. He's a nice and selfless mech, helping those in need even if the problems are small or irrelevant to him. Since he's with his mom more, he's more engaged in combat-like things, but he just wants to keep peace in a more physical way. But this has also somehow brought him to a liking for sport, specifically Enerush*. He doesn't really find joy in reading, not because of it being boring, but because he can't read text properly. He finds the way text is normally put too close together, making it seem like the sentences are mixing up into a bar of blur. Elariel sometimes makes fun of him for this but jokingly.
Sometimes when the two get into 'satire' roast battles, Optimus takes it too seriously and starts telling them to not make fun of the other and be nice to each other. Elita on the other hand just finds this intriguing and funny. Anything Trion and Elariel do that seem 'harmful' in a way to Optimus is just something the two just do for funny reasons.
Fun facts yay!!!
Since Elariel, Trion and Terminus are the eldest ones, they're expected to take care of the little ones which they do, but most of the time just leave them to have fun on their own. And they mostly get told off if one of the lil' ones get hurt and they weren't there to help them.
When some other bots meet the three teens, they always think Trion and Terminus are basically Elariel's two body guards, but it's the opposite. Megatron tells Terminus to be like Elariel sometimes.
Haha, nicknames:
Riri, Ella (She hates that one)
Rio, Trai, Ryan (He gets annoyed with it, but actually doesn't mind most of the time)
