So when Rin’s phone lit up that morning, only a few minutes past 7:00 a.m., and Haru’s jaunty ringtone flooded the house, Rin worried there had been an emergency and flew to the socket where the phone was charging. The emergency, as it turned out, was a festival, and Haru’s reason for calling to invite Rin personally.

A date? A festival date with Haru? He dared to hope.
