I’m absolutely no fan of the Democratic Party or its nominee, but there are some extremely urgent reasons why you should hold your nose and vote for Kamala Harris:

Have both sides committed atrocities in the name of the US government? Yes. However, one side is far more likely to commit far more.

One side is far more likely to jail its critics for criticizing it.

One side is actively trying to roll back what few protections for trans/LGBTQ rights exist, and make life difficult to impossible for people like me to live full lives with the people they love.

One side is actively trying to enact a nationwide abortion ban (and if you don’t think Trump would sign it if it came across his desk, you’ve got another think coming).

Both sides suck, but they are not the same.

Saying so is propaganda, no matter the source. If we don’t vote, the Republicans win—that is their whole entire strategy.

So please, I am begging you, go vote. I would like to stay married to my wife.

i would die without lumpinou's mods SERIOUSLY!!! i was barely using the pack, i was just using their mods. the lgbt mod for their queerplatonic relationship is honestly adorable they're just besties who chose to spend their lives together. real!!! and i also used their pregnancy overhaul mod for IVF (see: bebé on toilet). and alsoooo their neurodivergent mod is the best i've ever seen, it even has developmental delays for infants and older which is neat. it's always hard for me to get immersed in gameplay when i'm using my story sims, because they tend to just.. not act like my characters would. so being able to assign casper & coco the same struggles he has in the story really helped me get into the game especially because they have actual symptoms and consequences, more than i've seen with trait mods. i would caution you guys that tbh it can be a little triggering if you also have some of these illnesses but overall i was just really impressed and liked seeing this stuff be treated with care instead of just simple traits. and this is not even mentioning their smaller mods which are also great. i'm sure you all already know about these mods but i felt like gushing about them because i hardly ever do gameplay and i'm just blown away by how much they add to the game!!

as for the pack.... um...... i'm so glad i 🏴‍☠️ because this pack's gameplay is trash. the build/buy is nice, CAS is okay, world is okay, but .... not worth $$$ :)

"no we just think that they should need parental consent to make potentially life altering choices" socially transitioning is not only reversable but 100% not nearly as invasive as any other part of transitioning. all this is doing is forcing vulnerable kids back into the closet and forcing them to suppress their identities. fuck, is making gender-affirming healthcare less accessible not enough? now you have to making things worse for trans kids who are already in horrible situations. this genuinely disgusts me.
