Photoshoot of the Week: April 27th-May 3rd 2020 - Ducati Monster 796 & Mrs Black Soul
Tumblr media
Stopped since last March 13th, with the exception of the Research and Development Department activities, Ducati has finally got the engines back this week. A "gradual return to normal" which at the moment involves only a part of the workers destined for the production lines. First the workshop workers were back, then the engine assembly workers and, from 28th April, also the motorcycle assembly ones. For all other employees (such as designers, project managers and designers) the use of smartworking will remain mandatory, with access to the plant allowed only to those who have no physical way to carry out the activities remotely. In compliance with the safety protocols issued by the Italian Government, internal production has been completely reorganized, for example from an 8 hour shift to two 7 hour shifts to allow the minimum number of people to be inside the plant at the same time and, therefore, reduce possible contacts. Furthermore Ducati, thanks to an agreement between the unions and the employers, have established even stricter rules, such as the use of masks, regardless of the distance between workers. In total safety, the reopening of the production lines will allow Ducati to get back on track immediately: Ducati's aim is obviously to lower the negative effect of the production halt, unfortunately at the worst time of the year, given that Ducati has a large order portfolio and costumers are waiting for their bikes. Anyway, even if Ducati wouldn't have been able to manage this chrisis, awesome German bikergirl and "metalhead and Bike addict" Mrs Black Soul was already prepared to get back on tracks with her stylish, iconic and a little retro looking 2011 Ducati Monster 796, which she got last year. It won't be straight from the factory, nor full of up to date tech and besides storage and wind protection are minimal but that model is still a work of art in performance and efficiency (not including the manageability). Getting an used motorcycle is right now a really good choice, especially when industries are slowly starting out but we do need to speed up riding and moving around the city quickly, safely, without problems or parking or social distance. Believe me, Mrs Black Soul definitely knows what she is doing. As her Instagram account declares: "Working in the motorcycle industry, it‘s not just a hobby!" *** *** *** Ten years ago, in April 2010, Ducati unveiled its newest naked bike, the Monster 796, producing a factory-claimed 87 hp (65 kW). Before the 2011 Ducati Monster 796 was unveiled, the rift within the Monster lineup was considerable: the entry-level 696 served as a great advanced beginner bike, while the 1100 offered a considerably more ballsy option. Ducati's lineup sticked to a lightweight, performance-oriented theme, and the new Monster 796 adhered to the level of form and function we've come to expect from the Italian manufacturer. A steel trellis frame helps the naked middleweight achieve a dry weight of 368 pounds, and the air-cooled 803cc L-twin engine produces 87 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 58 lb-ft of torque at 6,250 rpm, a gain of 7 hp and 7.4 lb-ft over the 696 model. Like the Monster 696, the 796 featured non-adjustable Showa 43mm inverted forks up front, while the rear monoshock by Sachs was preload and rebound adjustable. The Monster 796 incorporated a wet, hydraulically actuated clutch with an APTC slipper unit (a la Hypermotard 796), and unlike the littlest Monster, the 796's swingarm was a slick, single-sided design. As with the Monster 1100, the 796 received aluminum tapered handlebars and Pirelli Diablo Rosso tires; the wheels and tires were identical to the big bore Monster's, apart from their black finish with short section pinstriping. Dual-disc, 4-piston Brembos were found up front, with a 2-piston disc at the rear. The Monster 796's ergonomic triangle was been revised for greater comfort: the handlebar was .79 inches taller, the saddle had been re-shaped for greater comfort (and sits .39 inches lower than the 1100's), and 4-point adjustable hand levers had also been incorporated. Thanks to the re-contoured seat and slightly revised ergonomics, the Ducati Monster 796 naked middleweight feeled noticeably more comfortable than its predecessors. The single-sided swingarm's design moved the seat .2 inches higher than the Monster 696's (to an altitude of 31.5 inches), and that repositioning might deter those of shorter stature. But the added clearance benefited the bike's handling, especially when it came to canyon carving. Though it was still got a sporty, arms forward posture, the comfier seat resulted in a less intimate relationship to the tank, reducing sensations of between-the-legs claustrophobia. The Monster 796's gruntier engine and single-sided swingarm were notably more lust-inspiring than what the 696 had to offer, and with a price difference of only $1,000, those two distinctions cannibalized sales from the smaller-engined stablemate. That said, the 796 still now hones in on the qualities many riding enthusiasts are looking for in a naked middleweight: a quick, nimble, reasonably comfortable, and appropriately priced ride with loads of personality. The 796 was replaced by the Monster 821 in mid 2014, equipped with the 821 cc Testastretta from the hyper line, and incorporating the same electronics suite as the monster 1200 #bikergirl #Monster821 #ducatiobsession #ducatilife #motorcycle #ducatista #ducatinsta #superbikes #ducativ4 #ducatimonster821 #ducatiSuperSport #ridefast #bikeracing #motosports #motolife #fastbikes #RidinGirlsBlog #racing #motorbike #bikersofinstagram #bikerfamily #biketouring #riderich #girlsonbikes #hjc #sportbike #sexybiker #bikerchick #bikerlady #desmo #speed #roadracing #ridingsexy #superbike #motard #ducaticorse #motorrad #ducati #motogp #moto #helmetporn #ducatimonster #ducatiracing #stuttgart #monster696 #monster796 #v4

Photoshoot of the Week: March 23rd-29th 2020 - Biljana & Audi A3
Tumblr media
The Geneva International Motor Show is among the automotive sector’s glitziest, with a high proportion of luxury and sports models, prestige brands and wild concept cars on display, and this year - despite a lower-than-usual roster of brands - looked to be following suit. Anyway the 2020 edition, which was to start on 2 March, was cancelled as a force majeure after the Swiss government banned public gatherings of more than 1,000 people in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. The virus reached Switzerland in the last week of February and neighbouring Italy reported hundreds of cases. The viral outbreak that began in China has spread to 52 countries and territories, with Italian cases centered on northern provinces that border Switzerland. Geneva, home to the World Health Organization, which is fighting the epidemic, is a 3-hour drive from Turin, where Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV has an operational base. Audi AG understandably said they supported the organizers' decision, but after the cancellation of the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, the German company had quickly to figure out how to arrange the 2020 Audi A3 Sportback worldwide debut. In the end Audi decided to livestream Audi A3's reveal on March 3rd, which was set to be the first day of the Geneva Motor Show: basically the date of the A3’s reveal hasn’t changed, only the venue has. Now, though, it’s arguable even better because the world gets to see it live, rather than having to wait for members of the media to show it off. Nonetheless buying a car might not be your major concern right now. However, we will eventually get back to normal life and work, so you should take into account the new generation of Audi A3. The fanciest of the lot, the revamped A3 will continue to command a premium over its siblings, partly because of its badge, but primarily due to the extra sophistication it brings compared to its counterparts. Ater all the A3 was the forerunner of the hatchback genre: this car remains a stylish icon that is going to be hard to match even in the future. Just look, for example, at the sexy and amazing photos made by the terrific cargirl and socialite of Bosnian Serb origin and naturalized Swiss citizen Biljana Lazic with her beloved A3: what can you say? A perfect girl with the perfect car. You know, Swiss governemnt can shut down a motorshow, maybe the quarantine will be widened to all Swiss cities, but it will take much more than that to split Biljana from her obsession! *** *** *** The 2020 Audi A3 ranks in the middle of our luxury small car rankings. It has a well-equipped cabin and a range of powerful engine options, but most of its classmates offer more trunk space and much better predicted reliability ratings. The Audi A3 has been one of the most popular small executive hatchbacks for a long time, but this generation’s time in the limelight is fading as more advanced rivals bring more technology and desirability to the segment. Nonetheless the A3 is still a good all-rounder despite the increasingly aggressive competitors: strong, efficient engines, stable, confidence-inspiring handling and the ever-appealing option of quattro four-wheel drive mean there’s a lot to like about Audi’s Volkswagen-Golf-related hatchback. The Audi A3 is a handsome premium hatchback that shares its engineering platform, powertrains and technology with the Volkswagen Golf and VW group stablemates the SEAT Leon and Skoda Octavia. They’re all built on a shared MBQ platform, but the Audi A3’s price premium means it’s generally the most expensive of the bunch. Because the Audi A3 has been engineered to use lightweight parts, particularly up front, it has a lithe lightness on the road that the old A3 never had. Seriously – the handling is light-footed and playful in a way no mainstream Audi has yet managed. It grips hard, hardly understeers, even generates a semblance of feedback through the steering. Audi also offers three levels of suspension stiffness plus a trick magnetic ride option that’s well worth spending the extra on. The 1.4 TFSI and 1.8 TFSI petrol engines are effective, and more recent additions are the 1.2 TFSI and 1.4 TFSI ‘cylinder on demand’ motors, which bring a bit of diesel economy to the cleaner, quieter world of petrol cars. Most will still go for a 2.0 TDI, though there’s loads of choice if the post-Dieselgate world has put you off. The Audi A3 is a very smart looking car on the outside, with a bold grille and handsome profile, as well as the sharply angled headlights. You get a similar look on the other A3 models on sale – the A3 saloon, open-top A3 Cabriolet and rapid S3 and RS3. The Audi A3 is practical and easy to live with, too. Front passengers get plenty of seat adjustment and a good view of the road ahead and behind. Adults sat in the rear will also be comfortable with enough head, leg and shoulder room. Boot space is on a par with a VW Golf and a Ford Focus. All versions of the Audi A3 share one thing: an absolutely gorgeous interior, with top-level, class-defining fit and finish. The old A3 was, despite its age, at the top of its game in this area: the new one simply extends this leadership further, while bringing new features to the table too. These include on-board internet, fingertip recognition sat nav entry and Audi drive select. As for practicality, the hatchback ones are more flexible but the saloon has a huge boot. In the end the Audi A3 founded the premium hatchback genre, and it remains the best one. While a Mercedes A-Class prioritises comfort and a BMW 1 Series focuses on sharp handling, the A3 strikes a great compromise between the two. It doesn’t cost much more than a VW Golf to buy, either, making it a better value proposition than you might imagine. And with loads of petrol engines to choose from - not least the quite barmy 400bhp RS3 - you’ve plenty of options if you want to avoid diesel. This generation of A3, while updated, has been around since 2012, yet it’s still a mightily strong contender. #AClass #AudiA3 #A3#cargirl #fastcars #cargirls #carporn #RidinGirlsBlog #drivergirl #femaleriders #sexycar #AudiRS #RS #Audi #luxurycars #carchick #suvlady #suv #speed #roadracing #ridingsexy #carracing #truckgirl #sportcar #Audination #richgirls #Audilove #Audigirl #AudiRS6 #AudiRS3 #RS6 #BAE #RS #RS5 #AudiTT #AudiRS4 #quattro #RS3 #coupe #sportcar #Audir8 #Audigirls #rs7 #Audigirls #instacar #Audimotors #audiworld

Photoshoot of the Week: May 11th-17th 2020 - Finja & Honda CBR600RR
Tumblr media
The scoop is on the cover of the March issue of the Japanese monthly Young Machine: according to their sources, Honda will launch the new version of the super sporty CBR 600RR-R at the end of the year. The arrival of the new 600 four-cylinder has been talked about since 2017, that is, as soon as Honda put the CBR600RR off the list. That bike was on the crest of the wave - it must be said - for years, strong consolidated image and performance (power of 120 horses), effective cycling, good sporting results and its engine to equip Moto2 from race. But it was Euro 3 approved, therefore no longer salable, and Honda decided that it was not worth the effort to redesign that model given the strong contraction of the hyper-sports 600 market. He preferred the quieter CBR650F, with a more affordable price and suitable for emerging markets. However, its production still continued, for the benefit of some markets; this is the case in the United States where the 2020 version of the CBR600RR, an almost unchanged technique compared to the model available from us until 2016, is on sale at a price of $ 12,799 in the only matt black color. After the arrival of the new Fireblade 1000 Honda this year, however, it would have a good reason to renew the CBR600 as well, being able to take advantage of its commercial towing and participation in the Superbike world championship. However, Honda did not want to update the CBR600RR to Euro 4 because the costs were excessive for a model that suffered a sharp drop in demand. Now the problem is called Euro 5, and it is even more pressing than Euro4, which translates into even greater costs than those analyzed four years ago. Besides, the Covid-19 emergency has literally stopped Honda's production almost all over the world, creating serious economic losses. So, in front of a possible "cut" in order to optimize resources, the project of a new super sports car 600 could be the first to be cut off. Beyond that, we shall see. Meanwhile just relax and enjoy the marvellous photoshoot made by German bikergirl and tremendous gear-socialite Finja with her old Honda CBR600RR. Damn, she's so good riding that beast: her photos are definitely a good enough reason to bring back this model for me! Photoshoot of the Week: December 30th 2019 - January 5th 2020 - Suzuki GSX-R750 & Miray
Tumblr media
Can you believe we are in a new decade? I couldn’t have imagined the year 2020 when I was a young boy. Do you remember all the movies that took place in the future and how futuristic 2020 was depicted? What about the flying cars and interstellar travels on exotic planets? We haven't gone near it so far: in a few days I'll have to take my motorbike to the repair shop, again! Anyway I don't mind at all: I believe that each and every day should be our main focus. When we do things from a place of feeling the way we want to feel, it all flows together with so much more ease. For me, my #1 goal this year was to continue the practice of strengthening my inner world – to feel joy and gratitude daily. To fully and completely feel it so deeply that happiness just oozed out of me in my relationships, in my work and in my blog, especially in these weekly posts for all of you. I’ve been working on my 2020 goals and I’m going to continue with last years intentions, which is adding goodness into my life, not setting resolutions on things I think I need to give up. But, as I decided a long time ago, there is always time for ridin' my motorbike, whether in my neighborhood or around the whole world, and that's what makes my life interesting, thus, worth living. I'm not personally interested in flying ships yet, and like the King sang I feel that 'there's so much world to see'. I think that many of you totally agree with me on this, and surely Turkish-German bikergirl and misterious socialite Miray endorses those words: you know, she never shows her face on Instagram but I bet there's a big fat shining smile ridin' around her Suzuki GSX-R750 behind that black HJC helmet! Why don't you show it to us? That smile will make all of us just walk on the moon! *** More than thirty years ago Suzuki GSX-R750's introduction revolutionized the sportbikes segment. Ever since then, the GSX-R750 has remained true to its original concept and championship-winning heritage. On the road or on the track, the GSX-R750 delivers a breathtaking combination of outstanding engine performance, crisp handling, compact size, and light weight. Its secret is an unequaled pairing of 750cc performance with the lightweight, compact chassis of a 600cc Supersport, complemented by technologically advanced suspension front and rear. The GSX-R750’s look was born and raised on the racetrack, and for its whole lifetime that styling has two new, dual-color paint schemes. Riders can choose the Glass Sparkle Black/Pearl Glacier White scheme that includes red bodywork graphics and striping on the black cast aluminum wheels. Also available is a scheme that blends a shiny and flat finish via Metallic Matter Black/Glass Sparkle Black bodywork that also includes red graphics and accents on black wheels. The GSX-R750’s fuel injected, 750cc, four-cylinder engine powers a balanced sportbike experience. This engine pulls strong off the bottom like a larger-displacement powerplant while it builds revs like a smaller mill – it’s the best of both worlds. The Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) lets the rider adjust the engine’s power delivery to suit the riding conditions. The twin-spar aluminum frame effectively connects the steering head with the swingarm pivot portion of the chassis in a way that balances light weight and strength. The engine is suspended below the frame to keep mass low and the wheelbase short to promote nimble handling. Compact 750cc, four-cylinder engine with a race-proven over-square bore/stroke ratio managed to produce a remarkably strong high rpm power delivery. The energy-efficient engine employs forged pistons, shot-peened connecting rods, chrome-nitride-coated upper compression and oil control rings, and pentagonal ventilation holes to reduce frictional and mechanical losses. Lightweight titanium alloy valves are controlled by single-coil valve springs to reduce valve-train mass, reducing mechanical losses at high rpm. Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel injection uses eight fine-spray eight-hole injectors for improved fuel atomization, which contributes to more complete combustion. An Engine Control Module (ECM) provides state-of-the-art engine management and has enhanced settings to suit the intake and exhaust systems, resulting in better fuel economy and linear throttle response. Advanced, MotoGP-developed transistorized ignition control programming helps maintain more precise spark timing across the range of engine speed and temperature. Four-into-one stainless steel exhaust system with a titanium muffler is fitted with a Suzuki Exhaust Tuning (SET) valve that maximizes torque and improves throttle response, especially in the low- to mid-rpm range. Lightweight and compact twin-spar aluminum alloy frame is constructed of five cast sections to produce a balance of light weight and strength. The frame is mated with a cast aluminum swingarm and multi-piece rear sub-frame that’s ready for racetrack use. Race-developed, lightweight Showa Big Piston front Fork (BPF) delivers superb feedback and consistent performance. Single Showa rear shock features externally adjustable rebound and compression damping, along with adjustable ride height. Electronically controlled steering damper provides lighter steering at slower speeds and more damping force at racetrack and highway speeds. Front brakes with fully floating 310mm discs are grasped by radial-mount, four-piston Brembo Monobloc calipers. Three-spoke cast aluminum alloy wheels are shod with lightweight, high-grip front and rear tires for sharp handling. Three-way adjustable foot pegs, adjustable shift lever, and short fuel tank help compose a comfortable riding position that permits the rider movement required for performance riding. Compact, lightweight instrument cluster with a built-in lap timer/stopwatch and programmable engine rpm indicators to alert the rider to certain shift points. The GSX-R750 survived in several incarnations from its launch in 1985 all the way to 2016 before it was finally dropped from the Suzuki range. During its lifetime, the GSX-R750 had to see off competition from impressive rivals such as the Yamaha FZ750 and YZF-R7, Kawasaki ZXR750 and ZX-7R, the Ducati 749 and then a new generation of larger-capacity superbikes such as the FireBlade and Yamaha R1. The GSX-R was much lighter (thanks to its aluminium beam frame, a first for a mass-produced bike) than the FZ750 and its better looks and more futuristic design gave it the edge in the battle of the showrooms. The battle for middleweight supremacy waged on into the 90s and it took a serious overhaul for the Suzuki to respond to the Kawasaki ZXR750 and later ZX-7R models, but the GSX-R kept moving with the times and remains a brilliant choice of machine whether you’re a trackday addict or a road rider. #bikergirl #fastbikes #RidinGirlsBlog #racing #suzukigsxr750 #gsxr750 #gsxr #gixxerkidz #Suzuki #gsxr1000 #hjchelmets #biker #bikelife #bikersofinstagram #bikerfamily #bikergirl #motorrad #girlsonbikes #HJC #sportbike #sexybiker #Suzuki #GSX #gsxR #motard #moto #suzukigirl #bikerchick #bikerlady #motorbike #speed #roadracing #ridingsexy #girlswhoride #riderich #girlsonbikes #gsxr #suzukigsxr #motogp #moto #helmetporn

Photoshoot of the Week: February 3rd-9th 2020 - Steffi & Honda CBR600RR PC40
Tumblr media
Motorbikes provide many of the individual freedoms associated with cars, but with lower environmental costs. Motorcycles are indeed more fuel-efficient than cars and emitted less of the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide, but they emitted far more smog-forming hydrocarbons and oxides of nitrogen, as well as the toxic air pollutant carbon monoxide. Anyway motorcycle manufacturing requires thousands fewer pounds of raw materials than automobiles. They require less fossil fuel, so they require less energy to pull that fossil fuel out of the ground. They use fewer chemicals and oils than cars. Motorcycles put less wear and tear on roadways, take up less parking room, and also reduce the amount of space needed to transport a single passenger. In addition to being intrinsically green, you also have two other ways to increase the environmental friendliness of your motorcycle riding. First of all staying on top of motorcycle maintenance keeps your bike running well and your environmental impact as low as possible. Fluid changes, equipment checks, and motorcycle exhaust maintenance all play a part in how green your motorcycle is running. In addition, to increase fuel efficiency, I recommend watching how smooth you are when you’re riding. Accelerating slowly increases your MPG and cuts down on the amount of work your engine needs to do. You also save maintenance on other wear and tear items, such as your brakes and tires. After all riding is not just good for the environment, but also for yourself: this is why proud German bikergirl and famous socialite Steffi always takes her classic Honda CBR600RR PC40 sportbike for a ride in the heart of her homeland amazing forests: from mature woods to shady streams and beautiful open heathland, Germany surely offers some fantastic riding opportunities which every biker should seize. Just at one condition: being in touch with nature means that you have to ride a motorcycle safely and responsibly. However, it is important to be aware that excessive noise from motorcycles can have significant impacts on wildlife and other inhabitants. Besides please obey speed limits, avoid traveling in large groups and excessive acceleration or revving of the engine. As Steffy shows to her thousands of followers every day, being respectfully is the only way to experience German's natural and cultural heritage riding your bike. In any case, you don't want to mess around with Germans, do you? *** Country roads The Honda CBR600RR is a 599 cc (36.6 cu in) sport bike made by Honda since 2003, part of the CBR series. The CBR600RR was marketed as Honda's top-of-the-line middleweight sport bike, succeeding the 2002 Supersport World Champion 2001–2006 CBR600F4i, which was then repositioned as the tamer, more street-oriented sport bike behind the technically more advanced and uncompromising race-replica CBR600RR. The model that has earned eight World Supersport titles (nine if you count its CBR600F predecessor) touts a strong engine and front suspension featuring Honda’s 41mm Big Piston Fork for exceptional handling and supple action. The legendary Honda CBR600RR returns for 2020. Ever since the CBR600RR rolled onto the scene back in 2003, it has become the standard for 600cc supersports motorcycles. Featuring top of the range technology, MotoGP inspired aerodynamics, and the perfect blend of performance and handling, the CBR600RR is a true racing replica to dominate the streets on. Powered by a tried and tested 599cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine that produces 113 horsepower and 48.7 lb-ft of peak torque, the CBR600RR offers exceptional performance in a package that’s light and nimble on the roads. The secret to the CBR600RR’s success isn’t the engine performance; it’s down to the handling. Built on top of a lightweight twin-spar aluminum chassis, the CBR600RR features top-notch Showa Big Piston forks and a Unit Pro-Link single-shock, combined with Honda’s incredible HESD (Honda Electric Steering Damper) technology that offers optimum damping force, courtesy of the ECU. An advanced suite of electronic rider aids works to enable fast lap times, while aerodynamic technologies from the RC213V MotoGP race bike are used to both increase downforce and improve braking stability. For the first time, the “Fireblade” name is being used in the U.S. market. It’s no wonder that the CBR600RR platform has chalked up plenty of victories in the World Supersport Championships over the years. It offers ample firepower wrapped in a compact and nimble package. Today’s CBR600RR takes engineering and styling cues directly from the MotoGP winning RC213V, making it more fearsome than ever before! #bikergirl #fastbikes #RidinGirlsBlog #racing #HondaCBR1000RR #honda #Shoei #vintage #motorbike #bikelife #bikersofinstagram #bikerfamily #bikergirl #HondaCBR600RR #caferacergram #caferacerporn #girlsonbikes #ridemore #sportbike #sexybiker #HondaCBR #CBR1000 #CBR600 #CBR600RR #hondagirls #hondacbr #hondagirl #bikerchick #bikerlady #motorbike #speed #roadracing #ridingsexy #girlswhoride #riderich #girlsonbikes #cbr1000rr #caferacer #motogp #moto #helmetporn #classicbike #streetcaferacers #cbr #motorlady #motorrad #motard #PC40

The landscapes of Germany are at once charming, bewitching, and staggeringly pretty: alpine peaks, mysterious forests, evergreens looming above the floor, long paths through the conifer-strewn woods. Unfortunately in recent years catastrophic combination of heat, drought, storms, forest fires, beetle plagues and a fungi blight have so far this year destroyed swathes of German forest equivalent to more than 200,000 football fields. Germany should therefore reconsider its strategic and financial efforts to create forests resilient to future climate change. Not by chance Agriculture Minister Julia Klöckner told public broadcaster SWR ahead of the National Forest Summit, which was held in Spetember 2019: "Every missing tree is a missing comrade-in-arms against climate change," Klöckner said. "Whatever we don't reforest today, our grandchildren will, of course, miss". Germany has finally begun decisive action to turn around the long run of bad years that the country’s forests have suffered. Fixing on exactly what the restored forests will look like—and how they will fare under stress—looks set nonetheless to be a work in progress for many years to come. Read the full article

Girl of the Week: October 14th-20th 2019 - Denise & Audi RS3
Tumblr media
If you're looking for a car that looks sharp, handles well, picks up like no others and has the braking power to stop a tractor trailer, with all the luxuries you'll ever need, Audi RS3 is the car for you. Powers great, handling is outstanding and the interior is both comfortable and nicely styled. It’s everything people are saying the RS is. It's so much fun to drive and looks and sounds awesome, basically the perfect choice for the new motor photoshoot of marvellous German car model and grid girl Denise. I guess God made some girls almost perfect, just like Denise, but there was something missing ... I think she found her missing piece, and it was this stunning silver Audi RS: blonde girls and Audi are a perfect combination, aren't they? Audi RS3, which landed in North America just two years ago despite being available overseas since 2013, is nearing the end of its current generation with an updated version for 2019. With a 400-hp turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder under the hood, this sports sedan has the muscle to back up its menacing appearance. It boasts a redline of 6900 rpm, and the rip of its distinctive exhaust note sounds amazing the whole way there. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission routes torque to all four wheels; in our testing, the RS3 hit 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. The Audi's most direct competitor is the Mercedes-AMG CLA45—a similarly nimble four-door with almost the same footprint—but managed a slightly slower 3.8-second run to 60 mph. The BMW M2, although only offered as a two-door coupe, is also a decent analogue to the RS3, but it needed 4.0 seconds to reach 60 mph in our testing. The RS3 feels razor-sharp, with responsive steering and an agile suspension. Its ride can be rough over pockmarked pavement—especially with the optional sport suspension—but if you're looking to maximize the RS3's fun potential, it tightens things up so you can really throw down. The RS3's interior is borrowed from the lower-powered S3 and the entry-level A3—which isn't a bad thing. It's a well-built cabin with plenty of tech features and more than a few surprises, such as the infotainment screen that rises out of the center of the dash upon startup or the optional digital gauge cluster with integrated Google Maps. Front sport seats are stylish, comfortable, and supportive and adults will easily find enough room in the first row. Back-seat occupants are treated to well-cushioned chairs but passenger space is tight. The RS3’s turbocharged five-cylinder engine will happily blast it from 0-62mph in a searing 4.1 seconds and on to a top speed of (if you pay extra to remove the limiter) 174mph – that’s serious sports car pace in a fairly practical five-door family car. Even more impressive is just how easy the Audi is to drive quickly. It soaks up bumps and potholes extremely well (especially with Audi’s optional adaptive suspension fitted), feels even more agile in tight corners and has seemingly endless grip thanks to its quattro four-wheel-drive system. Sure, it might not be quite as engaging as the no-holds-barred BMW M2 Competition on a racetrack, but the Audi’s still a real hoot to drive and mature enough to live with every day. It isn’t the most frugal five-door car on sale (even with a gentle touch on the accelerator you’ll struggle to better 25mpg) but it’s a doddle to drive, fairly relaxing at motorway speeds and safe – it’s based on the solid A3 Sportback, after all. Sadly, the RS3 still has one inescapable flaw – its price. It’s one of the quickest hot hatches on sale but it’ll set you back more than the M2 Competition, let alone cars like the Volkswagen Golf R and Honda Civic Type R. Still, head over to our deals pages to see how much you can save on one. #cargirl #fastcars #cargirls #carporn #RidinGirlsBlog #drivergirl #femaleriders #sexycar #AudiRS3 #AudiRS5 #Audi #luxurycars #carchick #suvlady #suv #speed #roadracing #ridingsexy #carracing #truckgirl #sportcar #girlswhoride #richgirls #audilove #gridgirl #riderich #Audigirl #subarubrzpremium #brzpremium #AudiTT #RS3 #RS #AudiRS #coupe #sportcar #frankfurt

Photoshoot of the Week: November 18th-24th 2019 - Julia & Yamaha YZF-R6
The city known as Bismarck, capital of the U.S. state of North Dakota and the county seat of Burleigh County, was formed in 1872 as "Edwinton" after Edwin Ferry Johnson, a chief engineer for the Northern Pacific Railway company back when the railroad reached the eastern banks of the Missouri River. The name was changed less than one year later, honoring German chancellor Otto von Bismarck, in an effort to attract German immigrants. The discovery of gold in the nearby Black Hills of South Dakota the following year was a greater impetus for growth and thousands of miners from the America and all over the world came to the area. In view of all this Bismark is a city of immigants, and immigration has always been at the heart of the American experience and a personal matter for many Americans. Unless you are a Native American descendant of the indigenous peoples who were displaced by the settlers who first came to the country, or an African-American descendant of those who were brought here in bondage as slaves, all Americans are immigrants or the descendants of immigrants. Most of American families are defined by why and how their ancestors came and started their lives in this New World, the hardships they endured, and the successes they realised. Besides immigrants and their children have levels of patriotism that are about the same as those of native-born Americans or that exceed them. For example stunning motorbike socialite Julia reclaims openly her Russian origin but she's also a proud American citizen who shows her followers the main attractions and the hidden beautiful sights of her beloved hometown Bismark. Her photoshoots with her great Yamaha YZF-R6 are a perfect combination of these two aspects, the incredible beauty and marvellous crazy driving style of Russian bikergirls and the tipically American powerful, strong, sturdy, vigorous need for speed. After all, the biker community is a world community without no borders: if you ride, all world is yours! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGOzaDPbEyo Since its debut in 1999, the R6 has been the bike of choice for serious 600 class riders and racers. The R6 features a host of great features including ABS brakes with large 320 mm front rotors, 43 mm fully adjustable inverted forks and an R1 inspired body design that is sure to turn heads. The R6 is full of innovation and technology you won’t find on the competitor’s machinery. Turning the key and turning it off, you might think that this is a rather modest car with an engine speed below 7500 rpm. Continue to twist and bury the needle north of 9000 rpm, and you will encounter a powerful, exciting force. The little kitty R6 is quickly gaining momentum and turning into a screaming hell-cat on command, with an impressive howling inlet to match, and an exhaust note to match. Although Yamaha Motor Corp., the United States does not publicly declare horsepower, the current YZF-R6 engine has spent a lot of time on a dynamometer In the R6 chassis, such power is perfect, and I do not speak about it lightly. This is the type of performance when a driver can wrap his head and start commanding, instead of being shy, as someone could be on a 1000-cc superbike, developing about 160+ hp. on the rear wheel. Unlike Superbike, Super sport does not have the same power to park in corners and fool your way through straight sections. With the 600, you will need to work on braking late, at a cornering speed, and use wide, wide lines to maintain momentum. Be sure if you get a quality time of 600 cu. See the super sport, you will return to the best rider. Our test bench was equipped with a GYTR YZF-R6 Yamaha quick-change kit, which will cost you $ 200 to buy. As for the “dollar-for-dollar” upgrade, it is at the top of the list and will help you rush through the gearbox in a hurry. It is also clearly designed to work with the R6 ECU right out of the box. This year, the Yamaha has added three ride modes on the YZF-R6. If you are familiar with Yamaha motorcycles, the choice of A, STD and B is not surprising. A-mode is the most aggressive response of the throttle and at home on the track. The STD is smooth and progressive, and what I have been sticking to most of the time. B-mode has a more relaxed throttle response, which can be useful for new riders on a 600 cc saddle. See or in inappropriate riding conditions. You get full power in all modes, but each of them transmits it in its own way. Also attached to the party is a six-speed traction control system, which can be turned off if you choose. To save money for Yamaha, and subsequently for the average consumer, a more simplified TC system was developed. It controls the information received from the wheel speed sensors, and accordingly adjusts the ignition time, fuel injection volume and throttle opening. This means that the R6 does not have the bizarre IMU swagger, which is now in vogue on Superbikes. This would increase the cost of development, and this cost would be transferred to the consumer. Fortunately, Yamaha managed to get its simpler TC system to work quite well. Yamaha YZF-R6 is an undeniably intuitive machine, agilely agreeing that the entrance you just offer and slashes into the corners as quickly as you like. This is an important feature of this machine – it does what you ask for, and not what it wants. Again, these qualities make it a great tool for riders, wading up from cars with less working volume. Go ahead, bury the front when braking, and Yamaha will maintain its stability with dignity. The same can be said when you are at the edge of a tire through long wide turns, such as Riverside Buttville. When you go to the throttle and turn on the power, you will complete your turn well. Buttonwillow, for some, is known as Bumpywillow. This was before it surfaced several years ago, but in some areas, signs of aging begin to show. There is some serious rough asphalt near the top of the Freight Stop and at the exit of Riverside turns. Despite this, the Yamaha R6 did not start walking on the highway. A bit of spring preload and a little more bounce damping did a quick job in these areas, giving us even more confidence in the rest of the track. With the addition of adjustable electronic assistants to the Yamaha YZF-R6, this meant that the dashboard had to be updated to facilitate these new systems. Today, full-color TFT displays are becoming commonplace. As much as I appreciate the dash on the R1, I’m glad that the Yamaha is stuck with a buzzing analog tachometer and an LCD display mounted on the R6. In the ejection of the tachometer needle in red there is something special that has become an essential attribute of the R6. SUmming it up, if you want to quickly dial the 600, the Yamaha YZF-R6 2018 is a great place to start this part of your journey! #bikergirl #yamaha #yzfr6 #r6 #r1 #yzf #yamahayzfr3 #yamahayzf #bikergirls #bikergirlsofinstagram #bikelife #superbike #instamoto #instamotogallery #biker #bikerchicks #yamahagirl #universalbikers #motorcycle #motard #superbikes #ridefast #bikeracing #motosports #motolife #fastbikes #RidinGirlsBlog #racing #motorbike #bikelife #bikersofinstagram #bikerfamily #riderich #girlsonbikes #ridemore #sportbike #sexybiker #bikerchick #bikerlady #motorbike #speed #roadracing #ridingsexy #girlswhoride #riderich #girlsonbikes #motorrad #motogp #moto #helmetporn #yamahar6

Girl of the Week: October 21st-27th 2019 - Lisa Yasmin & BMW M4
Tumblr media
Years ago, BMW’s M class became a standard bearer for fast, engaging street cars that infused a bit of motorsport-derived performance into the mix, finding a balance between the responsiveness that enthusiasts crave from a sports car and the refinement they need in a daily driver. That mission has evolved over time, though, and M models have leaned more into comfort, tech features, and style in recent years: M4 is one of the most compelling sport-luxury cars on the planet. No exaggeration. It has sublime handling, a stellar engine and a civilized disposition. Summing it up, the perfect car for a German girl, and of course brilliant car model and motor-addicted socialite Lisa Yasmin couldn't resist its charms: so take a look at her many faboulous BMW M4 photoshoots in 2018 and 2019. In the same way we can't wait for the new ones that will surely come: afterall M4 has that effect on everyone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddAWkqTb8Xs The BMW M4 is one of the most desirable sports cars for sale in the UK today. It comes as a two-door coupe or the open-topped M4 Convertible, and with a lineage that can trace its roots to the cult classic BMW M3, it's certainly a car with a strong reputation to uphold. When the M4 arrived in 2014, it promised much, but didn't quite deliver. However, subsequent revisions, including the creation of the limited-run M4 GTS and the sharper M4 CS, have seen the M4 finally deliver the performance and handling that it originally promised. The BMW M4 is effectively an M3 Coupe by another name. It's a fast, engaging and hugely desirable sports car, and it even offers a dose of practicality for those who occasionally need to carry luggage or rear-seat passengers. For ma ny purists, the M4's turbocharged engine can't match the last car's naturally aspirated V8 for drama and character. Yet, look past the artificial soundtrack and you'll discover a truly great set-up. It delivers the sort of pace that will have supercar owners looking nervously in their rear-view mirror, yet is far more efficient than the unit it replaces. Power comes from a 425-hp twin-turbo inline-six, with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and rear-wheel drive. The Competition package increases power output to 444 ponies but it adds nearly $5000 to the bottom line. Our M4 Competition test car with the seven-speed automatic zipped from zero to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds, the same time it took its main rival, the Mercedes-AMG C63 S coupe. The ride is firm but the driver is paid back for the abuse with genuine agility on twisty roads. At the track, the M4 can be dropped into the Sport+ mode where it will devour corners and blast down straightaways with the best of them. The M4 shares its interior with the decidedly less racy and far less expensive 4-series two-doors and the 3-series four-door sedan. That means good build quality but a relatively uninspired design that looks particularly dour in all black. Luckily, BMW offers three two-tone interior options—Sonoma Beige, Silverstone, and Sakhir Orangeto spice things up a bit. The rear seat is less spacious than the sedan but can still fit two adults in a pinch; the trunk space is generous for a coupe and fits four carry-on suitcases. The M4's sport seats are supportive and comfortable, and the driving position is perfect for spirited motoring. All M4 models come with BMW's iDrive infotainment system, a Harman/Kardon audio system, and several driver-assistance features including automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection; automatic high-beam headlamps, a head-up display, a 360-degree exterior camera system, and a self-parking feature are also available as part of the optional Executive package. The standard car gets glossy, carbon-fibre detailing inside, with a widescreen 8.8-inch display for the iDrive system. There’s a head-up display on offer, too, with two configurable ‘M’ driving modes, while the seats give excellent support for faster driving thanks to inflatable side bolsters. Our only real criticism is that with some parts carried over from cheaper BMW saloons, the M4 doesn’t feel quite as special as some cars in this class. That said, the Competition Pack versions are given a lift courtesy of even more heavily bolstered front seats and seat belts that get the M Sports stripe woven into the webbing. The rest of the cabin is pure 4 Series, which does means a thoughtfully laid-out dash, high-grade materials and excellent build quality. Plus, the low-slung driving position is perfect. The standard equipment count extends to sat-nav, a DAB radio, climate control and heated seats. As with other 4 Series Convertible variants, the drop-top M4 gets a three piece folding metal hardtop. Yet while the set-up delivers coupe-like refinement and security when raised, it’s slow to operate, adds weight and eats into boot space. #cargirl #fastcars #cargirls #carporn #RidinGirlsBlog #drivergirl #femaleriders #sexycar #BmwM4 #M4 #BMW #luxurycars #carchick #suvlady #suv #speed #roadracing #ridingsexy #carracing #truckgirl #sportcar #bimmerpost #richgirls #BMWlove #bimmergirl #riderich #BMWgirl #BmwM2 #BmwM6 #M6 #BmwM3 #bmwM5 #M5 #bimmerlife #LisaYasmin #M3 #MClass #bmwm4f82 #coupe #sportcar #bimmer #bimmers #bimmernation #bimmergirls

Photoshoot of the Week: October 7th -13th 2019 - Kawasaki Ninja 250R & Nastya
Tumblr media
The Kawasaki Ninja 250R is the ultimate starter motorcycle for a new rider. It’s nimble, light, and gets great gas milage. Although the look of it may be a bit ‘aged’ compared to some of the newer style of 600cc motorcycles, I personally think that the bike holds its own aesthetically… especially the 2007 black color scheme. I think you will be hard pressed to find another 250cc machine that looks as good and handles as well. So when outstanding Russian socialite Nastya decided to become a bikergirl there was little doubt about the decision: just like a true friend, Kawasaki Ninja 250R doesn’t hold us back; instead, he or she propels us forward. And so our very first own bike can do that for us if we let it. There are no words to explain how you feel after fullfilling the dream of owning your bike. To make it simple you feel like a bird that has got a wings to fly. So Kawasaki Ninja 250R will be in Nastya's heart forever, even if she is now riding something way more pwerful (Honda CBR600RR). I think it's the same for everyone: no matter who you later ride, or how you change over time, your first bike will always be the first, for the rest of your life. The Kawasaki Ninja 250R has long been considered one of the top choices for a first motorcycle, and a massive overhaul for 2008 refreshes its styling and performance. Boasting plenty of improvements inside and out, the Ninja 250R seeks to combine sportbike styling with the approachability of a beginner motorcycle. Something that makes this motorcycle really fun is its 14,000 rpm redline; it’s a real screamer when you take it on the highway! The ninja really loves being wound up to 9,000 rpms, and at around 10,000 you can really feel it start to grip the asphalt. Even though this motorcycle is fully faired (meaning it is covered by plastic sides to protect agains the wind), the motorcycle is so light that you will get blown around quite a bit at 65mph, and even more at 80 mph or 90 mph. This isn’t entirely a bad thing, it just takes a little getting used to. This motorcycle is great for the shorter rider. If you are only a few inches over 5 foot then you will think this motorcycle is a godsend compared to other 600cc bikes. Even if you are shorter than that I’m sure that if you shave the seat down a little you would be very comfortable on it. On the other hand I personally know of a few 250 riders that are around 5’9”-6’3” and they have never had any problems with this bike. (Usually these are the tall skinny type of guys so if you are more than 250 lbs I would probably recommend going for the Suzuki GS500 or the Kawasaki Ninja 500, which have a little more horsepower). Finally the best thing about the Ninja 250, in my opinion, is how inexpensive it is to own and maintain. There is a myth that motorcycles are much cheaper to ride than buying a car. This may be true for the initial purchase (with the average 600cc motorcycle being less than $10,000 and your average car being over $15,000) but once you add in tires, maintenance, motorcycle gear, insurance etc., the price of riding a motorcycle quickly climbs to much more than a car. The type of motorcycles that started this myth were most likely bikes just like the Ninja 250. Not only is it cheap to buy (at around $3,000 brand new), but it also gets as much as 60 miles to the gallon! The reliability of the Ninja is simply fantastic and will continue to run tens of thousands of miles with just oil changes and new tires. Even if you do run into some trouble, the Ninja 250 has had few mechanical adjustments since the late 80’s; which means that parts for this motorcycle are EVERYWHERE! So if you want one of the cheapest forms of transportation that can take you on surface streets and freeways, then the Kawasaki Ninja 250R fits the bill! #bikergirl #fastbikes #RidinGirlsBlog #racing #kawasakininja #ninja250R #ninja #kawasakigirl #ninja300 #motorbike #bikelife #bikersofinstagram #bikerfamily #bikergirl #riderich #girlsonbikes #ridemore #sportbike #sexybiker #kawa #shoei #kawasaki #russiangirl #bikerchick #bikerlady #motorbike #speed #roadracing #ridingsexy #girlswhoride #riderich #girlsonbikes #motorrad #kawagirl #motogp #moto #helmetporn

Photoshoot of the Week: September 30th - October 6th 2019 - Ducati Monster 797 & Valeria
Tumblr media
The Ducati Monster is pretty legendary in the motorcycle world. It pretty much created the naked sport category when it was introduced in 1993 and motorcycling has never been the same since. Moreover the Monster 797 is that most rare of modern bike – a turn-key fun machine. It is simple, fun, handles well thanks to its light weight and is pleasingly devoid of modern electrical assists. Just get on and enjoy without the need to read the instruction manual! Why have anything else? Not perfect after all - but ticks all boxes for awesome Italian socialite (but German adoptive B¡kerg¡rl & Tattoo G¡rl 👸) Valeria. Ducat¡ Monster 797 is her toy. I personally believe that everyone has a child in them no matter their age. That child is still drawn to childish desires – eating ice cream straight out of the box, wearing the coolest sneakers, watching cartoons, playing soccer etc. Our inner child is always looking for what he/she loves. But we are adults and our age acts as a shield and gets in the way of feeding our inner child’s desires. We all try to find simple ways to drop that shield and satiate our inner child. But the extent to which we can do it varies based on our means and will. I personally feel feeding your inner child is one of the best things you can do as an adult and everyone should do it. Of course we need to strike the right balance between our adult responsibilities and our childish desires. In my experience the happiest people are those who find this balance. So Ducati Monster is the toy for Valeria's inner child. And that’s why she loves her bike and loves riding! Ducati added to its “Monster” family in 2017 with the accessible and relatively rider-friendly “797” version of its popular naked bike. This ride uses the same 803 cc mill that drives the full-size Scramblers, so while it isn’t a net-new engine, it is a proven one. Dual front brakes with ABS, Pirelli tires and fat Kayaba forks are but some of the features includeThe design of the Monster 797, elegant and muscular, perfectly integrates the wide handlebar, tank, trellis frame, engine and double-sided swingarm. An agile and dynamic line that transmits sportiness and instils confidence right from first glance: a compact, sports design that is unmistakeably Monster. The Desmodue twin, with 73 hp and 6,8 kgm of torque, ensures riding enjoyment in maximum safety. The constant, fluid torque curve immediately instils confidence without creating any difficulty. Carefree fun is guaranteed! The Monster 797 is also available for those with a restricted licence, as a version with 35 kW of regulated power.d in what looks to be the closest to an “entry level” ride that the Monster family has managed to date. The Monster 797 chassis is designed to ensure maximum ease of riding. Compact dimensions, a low and narrow seat, a wide handlebar and reduced weight make it agile in city traffic and sporty on out-of-town roads. The Monster 797 boasts a modern and complete range of equipment. The large LCD hi-vis screen of the dashboard provides all the information needed for riding, while LED technology enhances thepositioning light of the front headlight, rear light and licence plate light. Ducati made very clear what the new Monster 797 is about: Monster spirit and Ducati appeal that is now accessible to everyone. Sporty, compact, essential yet incredibly stylish and up to date, the Monster 797 embodies all the allure of the Monster and represents the gateway to the Ducati world. Everything on the Monster 797 recalls the iconic 90s bike while offering cutting-edge modernity: from the Trellis frame to the air-cooled L-twin engine and round headlight. The Monster 797, the most accessible of the Ducati nakeds, has been designed to express that unique Monster essence right down to the last detail. With its compact yet beefy tank, iconic headlight and tapered tail, the Monster 797 is clean and sinewy. The Desmodue air-cooled L-twin engine is cradled in the Trellis frame, showcasing the mechanics in inimitable Monster style. With a punchy maximum power of 75 hp at 8,250 rpm and great delivery throughout the rev range, the Monster 797 puts performance and fun within everyone’s grasp, ensuring an exciting ride experience, every day, on any road. EURO 4 compliant, the Monster 797 L-twin is perfect for those purchasing their first Ducati or simply their first motorcycle, yet still offers fun-packed riding for even the most expert motorcyclist. Moreover, active safety is always ready to kick in thanks to the as-standard Bosch ABS. The ABS on the Monster 797 works in concert with a top-drawer front braking system consisting of two 320 mm Brembo discs gripped by two Brembo M4.32 radial calipers. Whether on city streets or country roads, the Monster 797 is the perfect bike for cool, carefree riding. Right from the very first mile, the low seat and wide handlebars inspire confidence. Contained weight and agile chassis geometry give riders outstanding ‘feel’, perfect control and superb handling whatever their level of experience. The new Monster 797 is also available in Plus version. The Monster 797+ features a distinctive look thanks to its enhanced standard equipment, including flyscreen and passenger seat cover, both varnished the same color as the fuel tank and the front mudguard. The flyscreen improves the aerodynamic protection and thus the rider’s comfort. The Monster 797+ is available in Star White Silk and Ducati Red. The new Ducati Monster 797 finally makes the iconic essence, history and unique appeal of the Monster – and Ducati – accessible to anyone. #bikergirl #monster797 #ducatiobsession #ducatilife #motorcycle #ducatista #ducatinsta #superbikes #staygrenzig #xlmoto #ridefast #bikeracing #motosports #motolife #fastbikes #RidinGirlsBlog #racing #motorbike #bikelife #bikersofinstagram #bikerfamily #bikergirl #riderich #girlsonbikes #ridemore #sportbike #sexybiker #bikerchick #bikerlady #motorbike #speed #roadracing #ridingsexy #girlswhoride #riderich #girlsonbikes #motorrad #ducati #motogp #moto #helmetporn #ducatimonster #ducatiracing

Photoshoot of the Week: July 1st-7th 2019 - Diana Boreyko & Ducati Multistrada
Tumblr media
Amazing Russian pole dancer & model 💙 Diana Boreyko enjoying her journey to Italy in April and May 2019 experiencing one of the most beautiful sight: Venice?! No, Ducati Multistrada!! Here there are all the pics of Diana's photoshoot in Parco San Giuliano in Mestre (not too much far from Venice anyway 😂) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqhwKlLIzTc By the way, she also tried Ducati with a blue Sunday dress (?!) ... she's definetely a crazy girl https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zX6DzZV33bM See Diana's complete Instagram story about her journey in Italy here   First introduced in 2003, the Ducati Multistrada (literally in Italian "many roads") is series of V-twin "street trailie" motorcycles. Essentially a hybrid of a supermoto and a sport-tourer, the Multistrada competes in the market with other dual-sport motorcycles such as the BMW GS; but, like the Yamaha TDM850, the Multistrada is neither intended nor suitable for off-road use. Designed by Pierre Terblanche as an evolution to his previous design, the Cagiva Gran Canyon, the Multistrada has drawn mixed reviews for its unconventional aesthetics. A new addition to the popular Ducati Multistrada for 2019 is the tweaked Multistrada 950. And joining it comes a key addition in the form of the Multistrada 950 S, which also comes with wheel options. ‘S’ should be for ‘serious’ because the newbie is laden with top-spec kit, in fact there are more than 400 setting available via it’s sparkly new 5” TFT display – rider modes, traction control settings, damping, etc. At first glance you’d be correct in missing the upgrades. Aesthetically, not much has changed for 2019, other than some tweaks to the bodywork to bring it into line with the bigger Multistrada 1260 but there hasn’t been an ‘S’ model of the smaller Multistrada before, and the new machine adds much of the equipment from the slightly looney Multistrada 1260. The deep, throbby burble of a Ducati twin is a joy to listen to especially when smashing through the revs and clipping up the gearbox, so much so that the tried and trusted 937cc Testastretta motor has only had some small refinements that make the world of difference. More of that later. Maximum power and torque figures remain the same as the 2017 model at 110bhp (83kW) @ 9000rpm and 71 lb-ft (96 Nm) @ 7750rpm, which makes it more powerful than rivals such as Triumph’s Tiger 800 and Suzuki’s Vstrom 1000, although less tourquey than the Japanese bike. It can’t match the new Kawasaki Versys 1000 for power and is only just shaded by Yamaha’s Tracer 900 GT. For those not opting for a heavier yet more powerful Multistrada 1260, this is the ideal sports-tourer that has some light off-roading capability. It outshines rivals in terms of build quality and finish plus the vast swathes of riding options but then again, you get what you pay for.
