I think I might do art of my own for Akeshupid as well. Though IDK what to call this kind of ship (Akechi x Cupid x Joker x Futaba)! My baby is onmisexual like me (thought it was bisexual all these years, but someone at work explained to me what the difference between them was and turns out I'm omnisexual.) I'm thinking of commissioning a few more artists for my baby Cupid!

Day 27: Voiceless

An unfortunate incident leaves Alucard injured and captured by a mysterious faction who wish to use him for experimentation. Will Integra and the Hellsing organization be able to find him in time?

The fuzziness was an odd sensation. One Alucard was not familiar with. He didn’t know what had happened, why he felt this way.

He tried to move but found he couldn’t. His arms appeared to be stretched out to the sides, and he was held at the wrists in some mockery of the stigmata by something that vaguely burned

“The subject appears to be waking, Father Benedict.”

“Ah, wonderful. I have been looking forward to this moment for a long time. Finally seeing what makes Hellsing’s ultimate weapon tick.”

There were no formal introductions given. But Alucard parsed together enough information on his own. He seemed to be in some Vatican funded laboratory in the bowels of what he assumed were a church’s catacomb. Whatever this operation was, it was led by a man named Father Benedict; a stern, aging priest with a sharp, hypocritical eye for sinners.

The thing that bothered Alucard most was that he had little recollection of how he had ended up here. He vaguely remembered a mission, checking out a building. And after that everything fades away. The memory issues might have something to do with whatever they were pumping into him via the needle inserted into his neck. Some holy concoction of their own making, most likely.

“Just what do you think you’re going to do to Hellsing’s ultimate weapon?” Alucard asked, smirking.

The priest was nonplussed. “Furthering research into killing vampires.”

“Oh? Is that so? So you plan to torture me until you find out what you want to know? I don’t think my Master will take very kindly to you toying with her weapon.”

“Your master is the one who handed you over willingly,” the priest said with an attempt at being smug.

Alucard actually laughed, the sharp sound echoing around the stone walls.

“Really? Is that a fact, priest? The very thought of my Master Integra working with the Papists—heh, maybe you should try again. Are you not aware that lying in a sin?”

Father Benedict glowered. “It does not matter. You are not one of God’s creatures and you will die like every other vile beast of the field.”

“I could say the same for you,” Alucard said darkly. “How I will await the day that my Master comes to fetch me back and puts you in your place—a hole in unholy ground.”

The priest was obviously furious, though trying his best to hide it. He snapped at his assistant. “I’m done listening to it speak. Let’s muzzle the beast.”

Alucard laughed until they forced the muzzle over his mouth and nose. It had an inner plate made of blessed silver that was forced into his mouth, pressing against his tongue, burning. It did not break him yet though. He refused to be broken. He had had so much worse done to him than this and survived. He sneered behind the muzzle, piercing the priest with his eyes.

The man would inevitably meet the devil someday, but in the meantime, he would have to face Alucard.

They started with stakes. Consecrated silver, holy things, or so the priest claimed—blessed by a Cardinal or something. They stung, yes, but it was hardly consequential to Alucard. He’d had worse. It didn’t matter how many they drove into his body, through his cold heart. It would not kill a vampire as powerful as he was.

The holy water was next, poured into the healing holes riddling Alucard’s body once they finally pulled the stakes out. It burned, eating at his flesh before it could fully regenerate. Alucard growled behind the muzzle. This was admittedly more painful than the stakes. The smell of his acid-burned flesh wafted up, sickening.

“The sinful nature of the beast is apparent by how much it is affected,” the priest said with a cruel satisfaction.

Perhaps try pouring it over yourself and see how much better you react, Alucard would have snipped if he hadn’t been muzzled. Or does your piety truly hold up?

The burning continued, and Alucard began to worry just a bit. He had already been here for a while, and now the pain was starting to eat into his bones little by little.

Integra, he called inwardly. You had best collect your weapon before there is little left of him.

The holy water torture continued, with more creativity. As his wounds healed sluggishly, the priest put some into a syringe and pumped it directly into Alucard’s veins.

That was agony that he hadn’t quite expected. As he was reeling from that, his muzzle was partly removed, only for the holy water to be poured into his mouth via a funnel they shoved down his throat.

He finally screamed, his throat tearing, blood pouring from his mouth as his insides burned. He writhed against the restraints in an attempt to escape the agony.

“This method seems quite effective,” the priest noted for his assistant. “Unfortunately, it’s not the best battlefield method, but still…enlightening.”

Alucard spat a wad of bloody bile at the priest before his muzzle was shoved back over his face. He could no longer scream, only gurgle.

The next session, they used the holy water on his eyes.

Alucard had thought the blinding would be the worst thing they did to him. He knew he would heal eventually, especially with a little blood, but at the moment it was disorienting as he relied on his dulled senses to try and figure out what the priest was about to do to him next.

His muzzle was removed once again. He didn’t get the chance to spit more vitriol at the priest though before something else was shoved into his mouth, cranked until it forced his jaw open.

He had indeed thought burning his eyes out would have been the worst thing, but then he felt something closing around one of his fangs.

He growled in protest, trying to pull away, but his fang was wrenched out of his mouth with a sharp tug. Alucard screamed in desperation as the others were removed as well.

His mouth was full of blood by the time they were finished, and he slumped in the restraints.

“Now the great weapon is just a dog with no fangs,” the priest said with cruel satisfaction.

Blood dripped down Alucard’s chin. He had no reply. He had nothing. He felt himself drifting, and this time he didn’t bother to stop it.

He was woken by the sound of gunfire.

He still could not see, but he could sense a familiar presence.

Integra…

“Alucard!”

Hands briefly pressed to his cheeks before ripping off the muzzle. “My God, Alucard,” Integra breathed before shouting, “Help me get him down from here, dammit!”

She ripped out the needle that was still administering the drug to him.

More figures approached hurriedly. The chains holding Alucard were released and he slumped forward with a soft moan, caught by several hands before he was lowered to the floor.

“Go fetch a stretcher,” Integra said firmly.

“Can walk….” Alucard slurred.

“Hush,” Integra whispered, her hand on his face again, thumb just brushing the burns around his eyes. “They’ll burn for what they did to you. All of them will.”

Her fire bolstered him a bit, offering a little strength. “My Master,” he sighed wearily.

“Easy, Alucard, allow me to give you some blood.”

He felt her shift and heard a knife opening before the scent of Integra’s blood hit his nostrils.

He leaned forward eagerly and Integra cradled the back of his head, holding him upright as she pressed her bleeding arm to his mouth.

“Drink as much as you need,” she told him, running a hand through his matted hair. “You will heal, correct?”

Alucard hummed. “Yes…with time.”

“Then until then, rest easy,” Integra said softly as he lapped at her arm. “It’s my turn to watch over you.”

I personally think whether it was Count or Countess, the meaning does not change. How does changing the gender of a title change the validity. Integra holds "Sir" title (which I think, is a translator thing, she used "卿" not "サー", I don't know Japanese, this was brought up in this post, if someone have something to talk about it please inform me) and she still holds all the authority and validity that comes with the title.

Not to mention, Pip used "Mon cher" with Seras (In the English dub). I do not speak French, but according to Quora, and another friend of mine mentioned to me, "Mon cher" is to address a male acquaintance, while to addressing a female acquaintance, "Ma chère". But it does not change the context of it. Pip does love Seras, not just as a comrade but as a romantic partner. Can't two counts love each other anymore what are we homophobic???

And I want to add a detail because i didnt see much people mentioning this. Firstly, I could not for the life of me find any record not a transcript nor video footage of the interview. But I had been looking through a discussion on Wikipedia (yes it is not a reliable source but what else do we have)

This page had discussions about a statement the author had made about the relationship of Alucard and Integra.

There are two points that I collected from this that would be relevant to the topic.

First point, I will assume it was made by someone who did not ship or like Alucard x Integra, so it is guaranteed that this isnt a biased statement:

Ok, This is Demon Rin here (I was mentioned below) what was said at the Panel was, and I am NOT going with "My" Translation on this, this is also what the Official Translator Said. the Fan Asked what kind of relationship they had, and he said "Master and Servant", that was it, he said no more. the Translator translated it as such. Then, the room went silent. Nobody Said ANYTHING, and then he added as a joke "But I guess Twisted relationships like that can be allowed" to get a laugh out of the audience, and Again, that is EXACTLY what the translator said. NOTHING was aid about love, it was "But I guess Twisted relationships like that can be allowed". It was simply reworded by AxI fans who WANTED it to be love, so they just kinda heard it how they wanted to.

This statement had been argued against by another user, right under it, but before going to it, let's talk about what Hirano had said according to the first user's words. "But I guess Twisted relationships like that can be allowed". We have to look at things in a context, we cannot just nitpick that it is "relationship" not "love" so it isnt romantic aligned? Especially when the ENTIRE sentence was THAT.

Let's remove the "Twisted relationships/love" thing

"I guess it can be allowed".

What does that sound like? If a relationship is purely professional and platonic? Like the relationship between Integra and Seras? Would it ever be put into questions whether it was "allowed" or not? And if we think it is "forbidden" because it was an alliance between a vampire and a hunter, it is clearly not? Integra and Seras's relationship of mutual respect and trust and allyship of the two were never questioned of its validity. The Queen herself did not express opposition against Hellsing's allyship with vampires, and the Knights aren't visibly against it neither. The idea that vampires and hunters cannot be allies is an opinion, not a fact, especially in the setting of Hellsing. So, if not the allyship? Then what? What is the forbidden aspect of their relationship ??? That was never brought to question between them and any other characters??? GUESS

Even if you removed the (presumably) undefined factor that is the exact word Hirano had used to refer to ("relationship" or "love"), the insinuation is STILL THERE. But that is in the context of this discussion as I have not seen the interview myself so this is all based on assumption from the information pieces that I've collected. I could be entirely wrong. I honestly don't know which informations in this discussion is real. Everyone seems to have their own point, as well as I does, but take my opinions with a grain of salt. I am even more unreliable than the users in the discussion as I have not been there nor have i seen the interview.

The second point, which in my opinion isnt as strong as the first point, because one, I haven't heard of this information from anywhere except this discussion, and while I have not seen anyone debunking it yet, I have to repeat again that I DID NOT see the interview, all of what im mentioning here are collected from the discussion alone, which couldve been different from the interview. And two, I said it is not as strong because the user who brought this up seems to be in support of Alucard x Integra. I do not think your shipping preference will always affect your perception, but a pro-Alutegra information from a hater is definitely 100% valid, while a pro-Alutegra info from a shipper MIGHT not hold the same percentage of validity. Again, I am not implying that anyone is lying, but just keep the mindset that a statement might be affected by the speaker's bias, intentionally or not:

Funny enough because that girl who asked was in the BOH forums briefly and told a different story that Hirano had assured her in the signing after that there could be "something going on" between them.

If anyone had more informations on that information, confirmation or debunking it please please share I appreciate it very much and thank you in advance and thank you everyone for coming to my ted yap.

It has been brought to my attention that Enrico Maxwell gave away Alucard's true identity to all of London when it was burning just as Alucard unleased his Level 0. Into. A set. Of microphones. The same set he delivered his death speech in.

Which means every surviver in London after the attack know they were saved by Vlad the Impaler! There's no way Alucard could stay under lock and key if he haven't accidentally absorbed Schrodinger! Cat boy just gave him a pass to lay low for thirty years as London rebuilt itself!

(Pt 1 how the hell did he get into this establishment?)

Her sidearm was nearby, a trusty pistol she could aford the carry license. If this boy was any trouble, She would see to it he would be dead.

“Excuse me, Miss, do you happen to know if a woman with the named Hellsing was here?” The cowboy asked politely

"indeed I do" Integra kept her face hidden by her glasses and long hair"

"Can you please, if you have the ability send a message to her that I wish to speak with her in person"

"Why you're in luck dear sir, I do have the ability to contact sir Integra"

Julius's face brightened with a smile "Excellent-"

" But before I do. But Might I inquire as to why you wish to speak with her, you know so that I know that your intentions are pure of heart. "She spoke in a tone of mystery and Riddle. Mostly to help scare away the American.

"I assure you my intentions are quite Pure, " the cowboy said and had he not been wearing such a strange outfit, Integra would have kicked him out on the spot securitywood side with her easily

"Oh is that the case , then please regale me as to what your intentions are with the Lady of Iron? "

Julius didn't want to reveal that he knew of the supernatural ongoings, and so he had no choice but to regale her that he was a son of a friend to lady Hellsing family (not a lie but multiple generations removed)

Integra didn't believe him. His tails were too fictitious in her eyes.

Clearly this could still be a trap for a woman like her. But she was always one for a challenge. If she was truly in any danger, well it wasn't often to her pet vampire got a taste of American meat.

The 23-year-old Integra well not that verse with actual human men of her age range (Julius is literally only four years younger) she knew well the troops she had that masculinity and "manhood" size was a touchy subject

Really all she wanted to do was make it so that he would back off and she wouldn't have to use her British open carry license.

darling had a concealed carry license but rather kepted it on the down low.

It took what about like hours for them to make the first move, Integra held her strongest poker face, Julius matched her every move, each ofthem staring it to each other's eyes, mutually bluffing. The tension was so thick you could cut it like butter.

however to the outside world it was at least 10 minutes before Integra dropped the act grabbing Julius' shirt by the collar, she brought out her golden housing labeled revolver and aimed it directly at his head from the base of his jaw.

Integra smirked

" Well it seem you win"

Nobody else could see the pistol,except for Julius, who was smiling. He won this round.

'Aw I'm almost disappointed."

Integra hid a giggle

"Please you wouldn't be able to handle this caliper I hold" she held her voice in a false posh accent

"I'll have you know I handled plenty of High caliber weapons firearms in my field of work"

Integra could see through his bullshit. She was 19 sure, but she was pretty sure the American military wouldn't allow a 19-year-old service men to be on British soil so far away from a base and in the expensive part of the city.

He started to flush heavily, becoming redder than a tomato

"Wait... you're sir Integra Hellsing?, Leader of the Helsing organization

"In the flesh" she confirmed, and had Julius not known that she worked with people who hunt vampires in the night, he may not have spotted that pun

"But I didn't think" Julius was a bit embarrassed

What? didn't expect a 23-year-old woman to be the head of a secret multi-million dollar organization sponsored by the crown itself

"No... I ...Shit" Julius was very embarrassed he had to make this situation better somehow

" hold on give me a second"

The cowboy hands scramble towards one of his pockets, as if he was searching for something very important, then it occurred to her, integra still didn't really know his name.

Fishing out a envelope he proceeded to hand it to her.

Integra notice the peculiar seal that kept the envelope from opening, it was wax with a interesting emblem. Along the corner, there was address to "Sir Integra Hellsing" and her address for the organization / her manner

She almost didn't want to w rip open such a interesting seal

"I must say Mr...." it occurred to her, integra still didn't really know that cowboy's full name

"Oh how rude of me my name is Julius Simon Juste Quincy Belmont, although I normally just shorten it to Julius Belmont. "

Figures she always gets the long-winded names, whatever happened to John or Jack or Lucy or whatever now now now it must be sir pectoral pennwood or shakopaneous Finn. Integra pondered why she received such bullshit luck as she opened up the letter she found an interesting series of documents.

It was application letter! To be in Hellsing organization!? What the fuck? There was letters of rec too

She almost laughed.

"And what made you come all the way to here here to ask," He could have easily went through the online application.

" To be perfectly honest sir I didn't know where to look. All I know is I know what happens at your organization And I'm happy to be of service sir"

He stood up and gave a salute

Oh and what made you so interested in my little organization, as opposed to your coveted American military.

Sir "his eyes were a bit darker" I wish to fight the creatures of the night, it is what my family have done for years, and I need the experience

Julius was a bit stunned, he was expecting at least the great-grandchild of Abraham Van Helsing and the Harkers to at least know about the Belmont clan

Sir My family deals in vampire hunting, just as yours dealt with Dracula himself,

"I wish to join in your organizations crusade to protect your country so that I may have enough experience for my own. " He stated

Integra was still not convinced Julius had to come up with something,

"Well, perhaps I think you might know of my mother's maiden Morris? Seeing as you're at the descendant of Van Helsing?”

"Morris....morris…morris" She said out loud, as if trying to draw in a memory,

"MORRIS , wait as in QUINCY MORRIS? The Texan cowboy?"

the guy who stabbed alucard with a bowie knife, shot him with a revolver and a Winchester rifle as a bat and aided great grandpa Jonathan in hacking his bloody head off with his kuriki blade, and was instrumental in holding Alucard down with a blessed whip so that her other grandfather Abraham Van Helsing could bind the vampire to her family's blood.

Then she remembered a little detail that he mentioned earlier about him being the descendant of a family friend. He may have been talking about Quincy.

Now it all lines up, at least all of his what you thought was lies seem to make more sense with this little detail.

"Why didn't you say that" she breathed a sigh of relief

Integra thought ‘Oh this'll be fun to tease Alucard with.’ especially after That shit Storm he got her into with the PopExcept there was one little detail that she didn't quite get which made her a bit skeptical

"Mr Belmont I must ask there is one little detail that I am missing and have been missing for quite a few years and seeing as you are the only one I have as a connection

Answer me this? How did Quincy Morris have a child"

Just wanted to share a little bit about a few of my unpublished fics :) since I posted my unpublished master list for the year/next year!

Transformers: Now that I have an idea of where I'm going with both fics, Hyper Lane and Drift will set after a truce is formed and everyone is still kind of getting used to the notion, Hyper Lane will focus on MegaOp and Drift is so far Gen. Harry Potter: I've talked about Emerald Waves before or at least mentioned a Harry is a Vampire fic. The general storyline is Harry takes Lucius Malfoy by surprise, biting the man and making a deal to destroy the insane dark lord. Dreary is a Death Eater Remus Lupin Fic, He takes off with Harry basically to raise as his own and he's pissed off at Riddle for killing his friends. Fortress is a Harry figures out the light side might not be the right side and asks the Goblins for help and they kind of just...Adopt him? Hellsing: Blood Auction, Enrico Gets Kidnapped and Alucard makes a choice to help him. Basically, plus there's a dragon and a few other things, Enrico dies (Kinda) and everyone is happy in the end except Integra. Monsoon, Walter finds out that there are things out there worse than death...

My Hero Academia: Aizawa wasn't kidding in that first test, he expelled Midoria who goes rogue. I'd say more but I might give away too much lol

Miraculous Ladybug: House Of Mirrors Felix and Marinette go through a traumatic experience together and bond. Felix/Marinette 100%

Star Wars: A Change of Fate is a gift fic and it was requested to be a reader/Obi-Wan fic where the reader is Obi-Wan's padawan and things get a little steamy ;) My untitled Sith Obi-Wan is a Codywan fic where Obi-Wan is fed up with the war and goes 1000% batshit crazy lol Abandoned is a Clone! Centric Fic at this point of my Plotting, and Silver Veil is going to be a collection fic for stuff that happens off-screen for my fics Horizon of Yesterday and Red Shift.

TMNT: This one has been in the works for a stupidly long time and it's basically my story for how my version of Mikey became the super famous Theif Soot and other tales.

MegaMind: Pandora is kind of a mess plot-wise, I just knew I wanted to write a new Megamind fic. In this Roxanne for unknown reasons dumps Mega and he well freaks out a bit honestly and that's all I've got lol

Super Mario Bros: Untitled #1 Booigi. Honestly, it's an excuse to write smut lol I've already written a chunk for this one and it's just Boo pushing our boy around and Luigi liking it lol As for the other untitled Luigi and Peach just having friendship moments and also set in my Devil's Trap universe so it covers how Luigi got invited to Girls Night. Not that it really needed explaining but I enjoyed writing it and wanted to write more lol

Danny Phantom: Tempest also has been waiting around stupidly long and it's a Pompep fic where Vlad shows up on Danny's doorstep injured. It's very Fluffy by my standards.

Most of these have been hanging around for a while so most of them are at least 100 words of the first draft if not an extensive outline, there are a few that are just vague ideas that caught my attention lol

11. Do you write scenes in order, or do you jump around?

A little bit of both! I sometimes try to stay in order so that I don't get ahead of myself or forget what I've written where lest I fuck something up royally - the timeline of my current Hellsing work is still all the way messed up due to this, but I'm just banking on hoping it isn't too glaring till I can fix it. However, if I'm in a writing rut, I'll sometimes jump ahead to a scene later on in the work just to get the juices flowing again. Wanting to write but being unable to sucks, so I reason it's better to get more ideas down onto the page to work on later rather than going "I don't feel like writing the next scene so I'm stuck until I do."

27. What area of writing do you feel strongest in?

Dialogue, 100%. I'm far from a champ at writing it, but coming from a background in theatre it's usually what the entire nucleus of my works are built around. Entire story arcs of mine are often constructed around getting to a particular exchange between characters. A bitch loves her quotables and her back-and-forths - to the point I know it's probably very self-indulgent, but hey, I can do what I want, right? - so more often than not it's what I bank most of my work on. It seems to pay off, as I've received the highest of compliments on characterizations and humanizing existing characters. I cherish compliments like that more than any other.

Oh, yeah, and I like gore. I really like gore. I find lots of writers who write scenes with violence and bloodshed will include warnings for it but then I get to it and it's rather tame. As such, I always endeavor to raise the brutality to the highest degree possible. Nowhere near where I want to be yet, but I'm getting there!

55. Have you noticed any patterns in your fics?  Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?

Oh fuck me man, have I EVER. I get hooked on certain phrases that I use way too often that I have to swat myself on the wrist over. A big one is saying "X was Y and Z in equal measure," and I constantly re-use phrases like "abject terror" and "reckless/relentless abandon" and "commendable enthusiasm." That, and I also love the word "fuck." Especially for Zemira. It's a versatile word, but I do have to reel it back sometimes in order to come up with more creative expletives. Besides this, I seem to have a real penchant for writing stormy weather to signify brewing tension or bad vibes. I adore a good storm personally and always find them emotionally cathartic, so that's likely where it comes from. Besides this, I dunno how often people catch it, but most of my work is riddled with references to, once again, metal album titles and song titles. Even beyond direct references such as Zemira listening to Bolt Thrower or Defeated Sanity in scenes, I've referenced song titles like From the Pinnacle to the Pit by Ghost, Dead in the Dirt (a band), and probably, like, soooo many Cannibal Corpse and Anaal Nathrakh lyrical quotes.
