Always connecting Tiffany and Claire

Every time, Claire is brought into the picture - they connect Tiffany.

Richie and Carmy are foils to each other. As we watch Richie overcome his past and try to find purpose, we're watching Carmy go through the same thing. So, as Tiffany is to Richie, Claire is to Carmy.

Carmy and Richie give the audience the summary of their journeys. Richie is going to find purpose after Mikey's death. While Carmy is going to find enjoyment.

But they have to overcome the past to get to their end goals.

It starts with 2x01 when Carmy is looking at the photos that Richie has spread out. There's Tiffany and Claire in the photos.

in 2x03, When Richie tells his daughter he needs a break from the past. Carmy is, in the next scene, connecting with Claire.

In 2x05 Richie reunites with Claire and instantly asks about Tiffany.

And the very next episode Richie telling Tiffany about Claire and carmy

Of course, there's more in season 3. Richie and Carmy have flashbacks of them. While Carmy avoids Claire, Richie avoids Tiffany.

Until 3x09, Carmy was still stuck calling and ending things with Claire, while Richie was on the steps of officially ending it with Tiffany by accepting the invitation to the wedding.

In season 4, that leaked argument will happen after Tiffany's wedding—because that will be Richie's end of the cycle, and it will be a test for Carmy to end his past with Claire.

Jessie and Sydney, meanwhile, show signs of being part of Richie and Carmy's future.

Jessie shows Richie that she has a purpose in what she does at Ever, and Sydney shows Carmy that their passion can also be enjoyable.

Thomas: But does he love MC as much as Cleo loves cooking?

Jessy: I found that Jake watches MC while she sleeps.

Richie and Carmy mourn Ever in 3x05 Children. Richie and Carmy alao receive words of wisdom from Sydney and Jessie.

The only few episodes that don't mention Claire or Tiffany.

Don't read if you haven't finished Duskwood yet!

But the way he crushes on MC is just so adorable. He is the one who trusts MC (and Jake) the least in the beginning of the game.

But the moment when Jessy didn't show up to their date and Dan was drunk, he went to MC. He could have talked to anyone of the group. But he chose MC. For the simple reason, that they didn't know eachother well and he thought MC won't judge. Someone is more likely to express their true feelings when drunk. Alcohol cannot make you feel or think things, but rather it lowers the person's inhibitions and judgment in social situations, which makes it more difficult for them to determine whether something is socially acceptable.

Dan probably developed a crush on MC ever since. He warns MC and tells them to be careful around Jake. Not because he dislikes Jake. He doesn't dislike anyone. He is laid back and easy going. But he doesn't want MC to get hurt because deep down he really cares for MC.

So much, that he opens up to MC by himself, and when MC even supports him and doesn't judge him for escaping the hospital or his actions when he told her about his dad, he invites MC out on a date to watch a movie. And he didn't even ask directly, because he was shy. He waited for his opportunity to invite MC. Of course he also calls them "Boo" which is a term that is used if someone adores or loves a person.

He really liked Jessy, and called her "babe", but MC gets his sweet, hidden side. Because Dan knows how it feels to be an innocent person and getting dragged into something horrible.

And I think this is very adorable. If Jake wouldn't have been my favorite romance route, it surely would have been Dan.

Darkness: Synonyms are weird because if you invite someone to your cottage in the forest, that just sounds nice and cozy. But if I invite you to my cabin in the woods you’re going to die. Jessy: My favorite is explaining the difference between a butt dial and a booty call. Richy: It’s called connotations. Dan: Try this one on for size, “Forgive me, Father, I have sinned” vs “Sorry, Daddy, I’ve been naughty." MC: Great news! Language is now banned!

In the last episode of Duskwood, when I was fighting with Jake about who would go to the mine.

I don't know why I never realised this the very first time I played duskwood Richy was the only one that knew the others had gone to that cabin. Why didn't I see it then or maybe I guess I didn't really want to because the thought of him being behind it still hurts.
