Rhode Island's an intriguing state. He's burned down a ship, finds a way to name things in a dirty way (Hot Wiener, The Seamen, Balls), may/may not be run by the mafia, knows a guy (or 12) if you ever need to rackateer or kidnap, lights the rivers of Providence on fire every month... like sometimes I forget that he can be fiery bc of him being a short king, but he's someone I wouldn't mess with

I also feel like he'd be good at flirting. Idk why lmao

Him and New Jersey definitely get along. I'm not sure if they've ever interacted in canon, but I just know these two talk to each other late at night about the latest gossip in the statehouse (and occasionally comfort each other when they can't sleep). Yay :D

My favorite restaurant in Rhode Island never disappoints 😉

Everything I ordered:

Seared SCALLOPS -ginger soba noodles, bok-choy, shiitake mushrooms, crispy shallots, XO sauce.

LOBSTER PIZZA-Naan bread, lobster, mascarpone, arugula, gouda, prosciutto, mozzarella, white truffle.

OYSTER TRIO-two Grilled, two Bourbon, two Rockefeller style oysters.

CLAMS & LINGUINE RI- littlenecks, white wine, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, fresh herbs.

And of course Oysters for an appetizer🦪

For Dessert (because I never say no to dessert 🍮) Chocolate Bread Pudding!

I have reviewed this restaurant a few times and I always give it a star studded review! This 4th of July weekend was no different! I loved everything about all of our dishes.

The oysters are always fresh, the seafood is always prepped or cooked perfectly and the atmosphere is friendly, nice and fun! Everyone is there for a delicious meal and to have a great time with food 😉

If you are ever in RI please do yourself a favor and get reservations at @matunuckoysterbar! Once you eat there once you will be craving more 😉

Based on presentation and taste of all our food at @matunuckoysterbar I would rate this restaurant a 10 out of 10.

The place I grew up. The Paw Sox. The beach (any and all of them). Narragansett Bay. 🎵Sail away on the Block Island Ferry🎵 jingle. 'gAN-sett. cr-AN-stIN. Del's Lemonade. Fried clams (little necks are the best kind). Those NY System Weiners are amazing, gotta get the traditional way with celery salt. A cabinet is a type of milk shake. So is an Awful Awful (awful big, awful good). Newport is overrated but it has the nicest beaches. Oh, Thayer Street! PPAC. I'm sure I could dig up more of my childhood but I'm getting rambly.

Blount Clam Shack and Market, Warren RI.

Whole Belly Clam Roll on a grilled bun with clam fritters and clam chowder.

Shrimp Wrap- fried shrimp with lettuce, fresh salsa, Kick ‘N’Bayou sauce & Cheddar cheese

Another Sunday, Another Clam Shack! ☀️

I love whole belly clams! Maybe it’s the New Englander in me (born and raised in MA) but they are better than clam strips! Don’t knock ‘em til you try ‘em 😉

I love @blountretail 😉 They have delicious, fresh seafood, amazing soups and fresh and frozen foods. It is my favorite Clam Shack on the East Bay 💕

The fried shrimp wrap was delicious. The fried shrimp was fried lightly and you could still taste the shrimp. The sauce was a nice kick too but it wasn’t too spicy, just a nice kick. The wrap was crispy and had a great crunch with the freshness of the salsa. I usually get the lobster roll here, but I really wanted those whole belly clams 🦞

The whole belly clam roll was delicious! Very nicely fried, it was light and you could still taste those clams. I added a little Tatar sauce to the roll and a little lemon for freshness. The clam fritters are delicious with chunks of clams in the fritter. And when you dunk the fritters in the clam chowder that clam taste really pops out!! I really enjoyed this roll and it was a perfect way to end a Summer Weekend ☀️

Based on presentation and taste of the @blountretail whole belly clam roll, fritters and chowder and shrimp wrap I would rate this Clam Shack a 10 out of 10.
