And finally, the last film piece, which is basically 2 years in waiting to see in all it’s glory, if you’ve been following my posts. And also, the only X piece. You can absolutely see the difference the new backlit scanner makes, compared to my prior attempt with just a standard scan.

Not as much to say on this one, although I do enjoy how Winters incorporated almost all of the Maverick bosses into the scene. Where art thou, Volt Catfish?! Sure, there’s not much to Tunnel Rhino in pink up top, but those spikey drills are obvious. X3 had so many water-type Mavericks, so the background featuring the giant dam from Toxic Seahorse’s stage is fitting and looks real cool.

That might be all for the film pieces I can scan in super high quality, but that doesn’t mean I’m done using this scanner. Have yet to do anything else with it yet, but hopefully I can provide better quality with other production art and book scans for future posts this year.

Em Mega Man “X”, Ride Armors(ライドアーマー) são armaduras especiais gigantes de combate que Reploids como "X", Zero, Vile e Axl podem manipular. Originalmente destinadas a engenharia civil e transporte, foram usadas em combate devido à sua forte resistência e poder. À medida que a série prosseguia, as Ride Armors de combate foram criadas, cada uma com diferentes forças e aplicações. Mega Man X2 apresentou um novo tipo de Ride Armor, a Ride Armor Type EG-2 custom “Rabbit”(ライドアーマータイプEG-2カスタム ｢ラビット｣), intitulada na versão americana como “Mobile Attack Armor”. Segundo a descrição da armadura, ela é uma Ride Armor civil utilizada para perfuração de rochas. Devido ao seu maior poder destrutivo e vôo de curto alcance, foi utilizada para combate pelos Mavericks liderados por Sigma, sendo usada pelos inimigos Rideloid-G. A Rabbit Ride Armor pode ser encontrada no estágio de Wheel Gator, no estágio de Crystal Snail e no terceiro estágio dos X-Hunters. Armada com punhos pontiagudos, pode destruir certos blocos que “X” não pode. Segurando o botão de disparo, a Ride Armor Rabbit pode girar seus espinhos e carregar um ataque poderoso. Os espinhos giram enquanto o botão de disparo estiver pressionado e causará dano contínuo aos inimigos que entrarem em contato com eles. Além disso, a Ride Armor é capaz de correr e mudar de direção enquanto "carrega". Quando o botão de disparo é liberado, a armadura corre para a frente com um ataque de soco giratório. Também pode pairar por um curto período de tempo se o botão de salto for pressionado enquanto estiver no ar. Por esse motivo, seu salto rápido é capaz de percorrer distâncias extremamente longas. Essa armadura também aparece em Mega Man Xtreme 1 e Mega Man Xtreme 2 do Game Boy Color... 

Em Mega Man X3, o sistema de Ride Armors é dividido em quatro categorias diferentes. Essas armaduras podem ser ativadas através de plataformas específicas com o símbolo “X” ou χ(’chi”, letra grega para a palavra Chimera( χιμάρα)). Duas Ride Armors são exclusivas dos mavericks, isto é, os vilões, como por exemplo, REX-2000, e Goliath, utilizada por Vile MK-II...

O Primeiro modelo é o Chimera(キメラ Kimera)[”N”]. Sendo o modelo básico para os outros três modelos, o modelo Quimera, o neutro, deve ser encontrado primeiro para desbloquear as outras três armaduras. Semelhante aos modelos de Ride Armors de jogos anteriores, ele pode andar, pular, deslizar e socar... A Chimera pode ser encontrada na fase do Blast Hornet e “X” precisa do Tornado Fang(Tunnel Rhino) para chegar até essa armadura. Ao chegar nos armazéns, basta destruir os blocos. Um dos blocos destruídos revela uma passagem para uma parede rachada. Destruindo essa parede, uma nova passagem leva para um buraco abaixo em direção ao local onde se encontra a Chimera presa por um maverick. Destruí-lo é fundamental pra pegar a armadura. O segundo modelo é o Kangaroo(カンガルー)[”K”]. Tem espinhos em seus punhos, para causar maior dano. Pode ser encontrada na fase do Toxic Seahorse e requer o uso da Frog Ride Armor para destruir os ventiladores que normalmente empurram “X” para a direção oposta. Um segundo método, o mais fácil de todos, envolve ”X” utilizando o Frost Shield(Blizzard Buffalo) como plataforma subaquática para alcançar o local aonde a armadura se encontra. O terceiro modelo é o Hawk(ホーク)[”H”]. Designado para voar, tem um propulsor acoplado nas costas e lançadores de mísseis nos braços. A armadura pode ser encontrada na fase de Crush Crawfish. Ao destruir uma certa plataforma com a Triad Thunder(Volt Catfish), abre-se uma entrada para a armadura... O último modelo é o Frog(フロッグ)[”F”] - Uma armadura anfíbia que não quebra debaixo d'água. Como está focado no desempenho aquático, pode ser confuso e complicado tentar movê-lo em solo seco. Mova o cursor para ← e → faça saltos curtos nessa direção, e a corrida resultará em um salto em distância. Ambas as funções funcionam bem debaixo d'água, com a armadura pulando grandes distâncias. Em vez de braços, ele possui hélices parafusadas e lançadores de torpedos de retorno, mas a função de retorno não funciona bem em terra: os torpedos vão apenas em linha reta por aprox. metade da largura da tela e cair em uma curva acentuada. Ao tocar no botão de controle repetidamente (ao iniciar, os pés devem estar no chão e não segurar os botões esquerdo ou direito. Em seguida, continue tocando rapidamente nos botões para continuar. Quando a hélice parar, ela cairá gradativamente. não suba antes de atingir o solo.), ele pode executar um “salto sêxtuplo” enquanto estiver na água, com a ajuda da hélice. Essa armadura pode ser encontrada na fase do Gravity Beetle em um lugar onde “X” precisa deslizar de maneira vertical. 

Mega Man X4 apresenta dois modelos de Ride Armor, desenvolvidas pela Repliforce. Raiden(ライデン) é um battle suit de ataque direto, encontrado nas fases de Magma Dragoon e Slash Beast. Adicionalmente, inimigos são vistos utilizando essas armaduras. Raiden tem uma lâmina eletromagnética embutida nos braços, sendo capaz de realizar uma combinação de dois golpes se o botão de disparo for pressionado duas vezes: um golpe de perfuração e um golpe de energia em cima. Raiden pode realizar um ataque carregado, que produz uma lança de energia que é lançada para a frente. Pode resistir à lava e pode destruir certas paredes rochosas e vagões de trem. Além disso, pela primeira vez na série, o jogador pode levar a Ride Armor para uma batalha de chefe, neste caso Magma Dragoon. Devido ao seu alto desempenho, foi uma Ride Armor dominante que ficou na linha de frente por um longo tempo, aparecendo também em Mega Man X5 e Mega Man X6. O segundo modelo de Ride Armor apresentado em Mega Man X4, Eagle(イーグル), foi designado para voar. Disponível na fase do Storm Owl, e na segunda área da Final Weapon, antes da luta contra General, Eagle pode flutuar no ar por um prazo infinito de tempo, perdendo altitude apenas ao mínimo esbarrão com inimigos ou quando  o botão de pulo é pressionado. Eagle também exibe capacidades ofensivas aprimoradas: tiros não carregados são grandes massas de energia e tiros carregados divididos em três raios que atingem os inimigos. Esta é uma das poucas Ride Armors da série que também pode realizar um air dash. Iris toma a forma de uma Ride Armor púrpura, muito parecida com a Eagle Ride Armor, antes do confronto com Zero, depois que ele destruiu Colonel... 

Em Mega Man X5, Raiden é a única Ride Armor que retorna e pode ser encontrada na fase do Burn Dinorex(Mattrex). Por ser resistente contra lava, pode proteger “X” da morte certa, a menos que ele saia da armadura. Existem também inimigos conhecidos como Eagle “G” que usam um Ride Armor do tipo Eagle modificado com um buster que pode atirar em linha reta ou diagonal e um escudo, além disso, a armadura não pode ser controlada pelo jogador... 

Em Mega Man X6, o único modelo disponível de Ride Armor para “X” e Zero é o Raiden. Encontrada na fase do Metal Shark Player, a armadura previne que “X” e Zero sejam esmagados pelo compactador. A armadura estará disponível para uso novamente caso os jogadores tenham acesso à Zona Nightmare. 

Mega Man X7 apresenta dois modelos de Ride Armor, Gouden e Raiden II. O primeiro modelo é um humanoide(Gouden), equipado com um canhão no braço esquerdo e lançadores de mísseis nas costas; o segundo modelo(Raiden II) é um robô de quatro patas que tem uma furadeira de alto impacto no braço direito. Inimigos que usam Ride Armors são chamados de Proto Riders, e um dos Mavericks, Vanishing Gungaroo, utiliza uma Ride Armor, no formato de um canguru.

Yooooo i saw your tags on that post saying there werent many ship fans in warframe and i was curious what your favorite ships are!! I havent seen anyone else that ships stuff before. Theres almost no warframe fanfiction out there and its kind of hard to find people to talk to about it with that dont just want to talk about builds and stats ^w^

yeah there’s barely any fanfiction or fanart with this topic. to be fair, the warframe story is not really asking for this sort of content and you have to be quite creative and twist the story around to be able to do so, so i’m not surprised, but still it feels a bit lonely at time.i’ve explored some ships and dynamics in my casualframe/humanframe sets and headcanons, there’s more to come, but anyway, i will share some of those i put a bit thought into (take into consideration that everyone interprets the frames differently)!!WARNING FOR DORKY HEADCANONS INCOMING!!

VOLT X BANSHEE-best friends, swaggers, bros-volt flirts around a lot and never scores, banshee crushes on volt-banshee spends most time with their squad (octavia,nyx,nezha,loki)-banshee’s always there for him and to pretend that he’s not a glam loser-eventually volt realizes that he enjoys being with banshee the most and they become a thing

ASH X LOKI-Ash is very distant and introverted, spends most of his time training and meditating-Loki always needs to be everywhere, needs others to like him which in most cases they do, except Ash-Loki gets curious about Ash’s dissapearances and follows him into the dojo where he just stealthily watches him until he’s being pointed out-Ash finds Loki too loud, irresponsible, distracting and annoying and yet he never tells him off-thanks to Ash not liking Loki immediately, he sets it as a personal goal-Ash never seems to be caring for Loki much but when Loki gets himself in a dangerous situation, it’s Ash’s priority to get him out-eventually after Loki proves himself just as worthy, Ash finds pride in having him by his side-Loki cools down a bit and together they give off yakuza powercouple vibes

MESA X TRINITY-amazing synergy on the battlefield and off of it-mesa is very hard on herself-trinity is very patient and loving-both are protecting each other more than themselves-mesa feels like she’s not deserving of trinity but for sure won’t say no to the opportunity-trinity is a pacifist but she’d kill for mesa-mesa loves practicing with ash- both likes pushing their limits- trinity then has some bandaging to do on her-mesa visits vauban from time to time for gun augmentation-trinity is helping/nursing people in her free time

RHINO X NYX-the muscle and the mind-rhino is excal’s right hand man and he spends most time with him-nyx is part of the young’uns squad and spends most time with them or sleeping-they are very casual together-no one knows how they even got together it jsut sort of happened-rhino never lost the pink glasses, even though nyx is a sloppy couch potato gremlin-nyx is the boss-nyx tries to look unimpressed of having the hot kind beefy bf

EXCALIBUR X VALKYR-Excal used to spend the most time with Mag, Volt, Rhino and Frost before-after being chosen as the leader, he took huge amount of responsibility while making Rhino his right hand man-working more with all the frames, he faces the tough task of making all these different characters work together in unity - one of the more problematic ones being Valkyr-Excal takes extra time off to make a personal visit to Valkyr’s quarters to try and let her trust him more-she doesn’t let him at first, but even though he has no experience of dealing with someone so unstable and skittish, he finds a way of making her feel calm and secure-he keeps an extra eye on her in battle and pays her compliments about her skills afterwards-to show her his trust in her, he makes her his right hand woman as well after taking few of her concerns and ideas and decissions more than into consideration -Rhino being the voice of reason and Valkyr trusting her senses and taking risks is a perfect balance between setting Excal on the right path

SARYN / LIMBO-saryn- single by choice / limbo- single NOT by a choice-strong independent saryn who needs no partner / weak dependent limbo who desperatedly wants a laid-saryn- very desired / limbo- gentleman with no game-she doesn’t mind the attention but she makes it obvious that she’s not interested / he craves the attention and is oblivious to people not being interested-saryn- the hot mom of the team / limbo - the wine uncle of the team

NEKROS X OBERON (X NIDUS)-(lots of nekobe HCs i got from lotusshim554 so go check their stuff out!)-Nekros joined later and Oberon was one of the first frames he met; fell in love immediately-Nekros tries too hard, Oberon plays hard to get/isn’t interested-Oberon uses Nekros as an easy “deal with” his heat without any deeper meaning, although Nekros groes even more attached - thinks they are a thing-Oberon enjoys reading or spending time with other mature calm frames, while Nekros tries to be everywhere where he is, just in case-Oberon is sent on a solo mission where he is met with Nidus who he brings back-Nidus has been isolated for too long and lacks lots of manners and empathy, although is very attractive and dangerous looking; catching Oberon’s attention-Oberon clings to Nidus more than he ever showed interested in Nekros and Nidus uses that against Nekros-Nidus, just like Mirage, starts to subvert harmony within the frames for selfish joy-On a mission with these three only, Oberon is facing a decission to help one of those two-Oberon chooses Nekros-Nekros helps Nidus even after everything-after they are back safe and sound, Nidus is locked and watched over, Oberon is coming to terms that after all he chose Nekros and Nekros is in seventh heaven-they become a thing

EMBER X NEZHA-Nezha often catches Ember not keeping her eyes off him which both scares and flatters him-Ember is a known badass tough punk lady, saying it as it is, picking up on people twice her size, not afraid of fight-Nezha is very much aware of fight, very impressionable, feels confident only amongst his friends-Ember is the first one to approach Nezha, she is very casual and straight-to-the-point about stuff she wants-Ember is very grabby and terrirotial of things that are hers-even after being a thing, Nezha’s not sure if he’s aroused or terrified

VAUBAN X NOVA-”sugar daddy” vauban, “petite doll” nova-vauban spends most of his alone time planning and working on tech-nova is paegant girl, scared, unaware of her own potential-nova doesn’t feel good in the company of the other frames, therefore she quietly spends time with vauban in his workplace-vauban teaching curious nova about his creations-nova visting is part of the routine now and vauban makes little gifts for her in exchange

For gameplay, I have a lot of fav frames xdI’m kinda a Mag main with like 5 mags in inventory ha, my new big fav is Baruuk, but I also love to play with Atlas (fun frame), Rhino (unstoppable), Khora (she’s kinda like mag in gameplay imo, so it’s good) and Revenant (op frame)… It depends how I wanna play at that moment tbh (like, if I wanna hunt, I go as equinox), but mostly these are my current favs. I also love Ivara since the moment I’ve seen her, but she needs a rework or somethin :’I

Let’s just say, for me, Warframe came into my life at just the right time.When something bad happens to ya that takes away your thoughs, makes ya sad and such, the only way to get rid of that mood and go on is to find something new that interest ya. I had a dear friend, who due to her low self-esteems and need for some dick from a jerk, “betrayed” me and I saw no future for a relationship with such a person in my life. So I said farewell and ended communications with her, altho I felt sad for such turn of events, still, it was the right and only thing to do.Videogames were always a source for some healing process for me (so reality wouldn’t get much thoughts from me). Once after closing a game, I got one of those steam advertising boxes and it showed a picture of the time, when Warframe got the update with Mirage and the kubrow companions. I really disliked the looks of the kubrows (that nosehorn.. why), but Mirage’s design got my curiosity. I think I’ve made a lil search before getting the game (not sure about that anymore), but seeing it it’s free, was definitely a sign of “nothing to lose if I try it out”.Inside the game, Mag’s look with that galaxy rotating helmet was pleasing, still diggin’ it. And the fact whenever I logged back to the game, Ordis happily said: “Welcome back, Operator!” was a really good thing to hear, made me smile, it was healing for my sad, old-self back then. And I still don’t know, nor understand why they took that feature out?!?? >:U

Warframe’s designs, looks, and atmosphere and the fact that you were playing as a non-human and faceless character made me like the game more and made me stay. and it’s interesting to see how the game changes actually. it had more positive than negative updates… altho they shouldn’t have changed mag’s pull ability’s sound >:U

AIS and The VR Society Expand VR Categories for Lumiere Awards

Next month the 8th Annual Lumiere Awards take place, honouring creative work in movies, TV and virtual reality (VR). For this years event organisers The Advanced Imaging Society and The VR Society have expanded the VR category lineup, as well as recognising HTC CEO and Chairwoman Cher Wang, and Google Earth VR.

For 2017 the VR categories now include Best VR Experience, Best VR Film Experience, Best VR Animation & CGI, Best Episodic Content (360-degree), Best Live Action (360-degree), Best VR Documentary, Best VR Journalism, Best VR Sports, Best VR Music, Best VR Advertising/Branded Content, and Best VR Gaming.

Wang will be presented with the organization’s Sir Charles Wheatstone Award. “With the HTC VIVE, Cher Wang and her team have created a groundbreaking room-scale VR platform that has enabled the production of a dazzling number of immersive VR experiences which have pushed the boundaries of entertainment. The result has surprised and delighted the industry and consumers,” said Society Awards Chair Buzz Hays.

While Google Earth VR will be honoured with the rarely presented Century Award, reserved for achievements the Society deems a ‘milestone’ in content. “The Google VR Experience empowers every citizen of the world to explore and learn about our world with VR,” said Society President Jim Chabin. “This achievement will enrich countless lives and expand our understanding of our planet in the coming years, and we are thrilled to honor Google’s virtual reality team.”

Also writer, director and producer Jon Favreau, the creator of the Gnomes & Goblins VR experience with Wevr and Reality One, as well as directing Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Chef, Cowboys and Aliens, Elf and Jungle Book, will be presented with the Society’s 2017 Harold Lloyd Award for Filmmaking.

The 2017 Lumiere Awards take place at Warner Bros. Studios, 13th February, 2017, in Hollywood, California. For an update on the winners, check back with VRFocus.

Để tính được tổng trọng lượng xe bạn cần áp dụng công thức sau: Tổng trọng lượng xe = Trọng lượng của xe (không có tải) + Bánh răng (Trọng lượng hàng hóa, đồ vật trong xe). Công thức này có thể áp dụng cho các loại tời kéo vật dụng khác.

Xác định công suất tời cần dùng

Bạn hãy áp dụng công thức: 1,5 x Tổng trọng lượng xe = Công suất tời cần có

Sau khi đã xác định xong công suất tời, hãy nhìn vào bảng sau để tìm ra loại dành cho xe ô tô thích hợp, nhớ rằng LBS là đơn vị Pound cân của Anh, 1 LBS = 0,4535 Kg. Ví dụ tổng trọng lượng xe của bạn có trọng lượng là 4000kg công thức tính sẽ là 4000/0.4535=8820 lbs bạn cần chọn tời có công sất lớn hơn 8820 LBS.

Bước 3: Lựa chọn cáp tời phù hợp

Trước khi mua tời điện kéo xe, bạn cần xác định đúng loại cáp phù hợp với dòng máy tời để công việc nâng kéo đảm bảo an toàn đồng thời giúp máy dùng được bền hơn.

Bước 4: Chọn tời theo độ dốc

Tiếp theo, hãy chọn tời theo độ dốc. Ví dụ đơn giản thế này,  bạn cần xác định trọng tải của xe sau đó quy đổi ra lbs, tiếp theo là lựa chọn độ dốc phù hợp với LBS. Bước 5: Kiểm tra phụ kiện tời điện

Một chiếc tời đáng để bạn chọn còn cần có đủ bộ phụ kiện đi kèm. Hãy kiểm tra xem máy có đủ phụ kiện như công bố của nhà sản xuất không.
