3, 4, 8, 12, 22 for Rhiann!

3: weapon of choice? any particular reason they chose their weapon?

Melee weapon? sickles and daggers. Practical, multi-purpose, easily hidden and carried around. Really though, they like using blur shape to give themselves claws and other features. It's fun!

4: how crafty/resourceful are they?

quite, I like to think. A large part of their training involved being able to make magical tools out of anything and everything they could scrounge up, as well as paying attention to the world around you and how to make use out of very little. They like making things that are useful, like cordage from plant fibres and whittling bowls and cutlery when they have the time. You also have to get crafty and resourceful when you take care of goats all day, and want to keep the goat crimes to a minimum.

12: how long have they been around? do you know their birthday? is their birthday the day you made them or another day? what do they think of celebrating birthdays?

Rhiann is in their early twenties! I think I have it down somewhere as being around 22-23, but Rhiann doesn't really keep track. Firbolgs and elves age weirdly, and I couldn't really be bothered doing a huge amount of maths figuring out timelines and dates for backstory stuff, so they just aged like a human would until they hit their twenties. Rhiann celebrates a general "we made it through another winter!!" every spring, and doesn't really know what a birthday is. Why a specific day? how is anyone supposed to remember it every year?

22: do they sleep well at night?

Ha, not really. They sleep much much worse around full moons and recently their Troubles have meant poor sleep, but in the past they slept quite well when worn out from a day's activities.

rhiann - 6, 8, 34, and, for the angst, 35

6: how do they wear their hair? do they care a lot how their hair looks?

Rhiann usually wears his hear in a braid down his back, under a handkerchief! keeps it out of the way. Rhiann isn't particularly fussed about his hair, but likes having it long to feel the wind through it. It's customary for most adults in the villages to keep their hair short in adulthood, so Rhiann stands out a bit with their long hair.

8: do they have a nickname? who gave it to them? if it’s not derived from their real name, what’s the story behind it?

I've never actually really thought about it. I imagine they got called cornyn a lot as a baby, or aderyn bach (little bird) by others in their family. Rhiann is, in fact, their only name! No last name :)

34: how would your character describe themselves? it doesn’t have to line up with how they really are

"I'm a witch, of course. I tend to the flocks and to the people, I fly with the birds and move with the rivers. I work with the land. Just because I've been travelling with these cradle people doesn't mean I'm with the cradle, you know? I owe thanks to the earth and its people, not to some mountain fortress."

35: do they ever return home?

Well they haven't yet ;-) But I very much look forward to if we ever get there in-game. Rhiann has thought about it. Thought about it a lot. But never gotten particularly close to moving back permanently. A lot of the people they would return for are either locked away, or can never return there for multiple reasons. Like the fact that a decent number of their family have recently died, because of a certain wizard. I'm not saying it wasn't justified given that they were attacking the city and the party but like, they were still family :(

I think Rhiann knows that even if they were to go back, there is no returning to how things used to be. Not with what they know now, and who would be left to greet them. Rhiann left their childhood behind, even if that childhood has long, hooked claws.
