Yo everyone wake up, @oh-shtars just dropped a new RFTS!AU lore post. I sketched this super quickly after coming home from orientation today (I'm gonna have so many classes this year guys, I'm low-key kinda scared).

Can I take this to say how much I love that the stars make Asha's drawings come to life with the help of their magic? I mean, imagine being able to see something you put so much time, passion and practice into come to life, it's something YOU made and seeing it LIVE has to be one of the most beautiful things possible

Ayyyy TKoRaT Asha is getting some confidence.. I also think she is getting more comfy with the other Ashas too which is good, cause last time it overwhelmed her lol

Also idk what Uva's AU is called, and idk if I got the outfit right either so sorry if I got it wrong :')

I personally thing that FS! Asha probs wouldn't want people to remove her crown but hey what do I know?🤷‍♀️

For RFTS Asha, I think she would make something for Sueño after all he has been through, he deserves a break. Maybe he'll like the flower crown a lot but hey who knows :3

Same goes for Hedus, he needs a flower crown.

TKoRaT Asha loves making flower crowns as a kid and just wanted to share it with the other AUs. Something she did with her parents before they died lmao

Heyyyy darling @oh-shtars I have finished your DTIYS!

You are in luck because I likely would not have finished this if I had not been struck with a drawing fever at 3am today

(It is currently 3:33am… a lovely time to be on Tumblr)

But nevertheless! Here is my take on your Ashueño meet cute!

I actually coloured it! I used the reference colours for Sueño and sort of made the assumption that his hair was glowing. Bonus if you know what the other light source is

I tried to make Sueño as scared as possible, after all this is the third human he’s met, and the first two Mother Gothel’d him bad. He is terrified that she might do something to him. I just love brutally traumatized boys 😇

For Asha, I tried to make her expression more surprised and shocked than afraid. After all, she’s the servant to Magnifico and Amaya, and I’m sure she’s seen magic around. Plus… this weird, glowing young man was kind of cute. There’s no coloured sheet of her Act I outfit but I tried my best based off of the royal couple’s colours

Hope you won’t mind this design. Just drew him based on what I think he looks and as close to your description as I could. Most of Aster is taken reference from medieval princes and Snow White’s prince. Went off of some concept art too. Tell me what you think!

What more could I say? I love this little guy, their design and artstyle for them is adorable. Had a lot of fun drawing this Aster. One of my favs was the hair, elf ears and star eyes.

My old design was looking a lot more plain to me lately and I wanted him to stand out more from the other drawings of him. For now, I’m happy how he turned out. His shirt was inspired by this one below, but in the colour yellow instead of red.

Here is my attempt of drawing Asha and Sueño’s first meeting in my art style, the only difference is that I decided to draw it with colour since using those textures from my animated project would help me establish my own art style, and thankfully it worked cause I had a lot of fun experimenting with the lines so that Asha and Sueño could pop out!

I’m so happy about my outcome, and I’m hoping that all of you can appreciate this as well! 👍😉

I entered @oh-shtars DTIYS challenge and had so much fun! Thank God it had no deadline, because it took me forever to get started! 😂 I'm really enjoying "Reach For the Stars!" and the unique takes with Asha, Suñeo, the Royals and the deep magic system! Also, thanks for reading my "Wish Granted" AU too, it makes me excited that you're enjoying so much!

I've seen some incredible takes, especially from @cocoapowderpictures being my favorite, so I do hope I did them justice, lol. This is also a little bit of something I'm doing while writing out chapter 5, so more extra content will be coming in the meantime.

I am thinking of thinking of doing my own DTIYS challenge with Wish Granted since you inspired me, and I think I have the perfect scene for y'all to do...

Other than @oh-shtars, what would you say is your favorite Wish AU? Or top favorites?

I think everyone knows by now that I'm a huge fan of @oh-shtars's AU. The whole concept behind the story is super interesting and different from most rewrites that I have read. I think I'm just a sucker for the whole "celestial being gets imprisoned" trope (the only other Wish Rewrite that I've seen incorporate this idea was this Youtube video).

Besides the RFTS!AU, I absolutely adore @annymation's KOW!AU. I remember when the first chapter of the rewrite was posted on Tumblr. I followed the production of the story ever since. The story as a whole was just so well written (definitely one of the best fan pieces I have read in a while). Anny, you are such a talented writer! I hope you continue to publish any other projects you work on because your work is wonderful!!

I remember also being super invested in @gracebethartacc's RTS!AU. I always loved the artist's use of color and the way they incorporated little animatics into their AU. I especially loved that plot point where Star gets tricked into giving away his powers to become human. And then 2 seconds later he's like: "Oh man... I messed up". Also really liked the character designs and the interactions between Asha and Star.

Now that I'm kinda back into the fandom, I'm learning about all these new rewrite AUs. Everyone is so talented! Honestly, I think the Wish Rewrite fandom is one of the most wholesome fandoms I've seen in a while.

Anyway, thanks again for the ask! And feel free to send more. I'm in a bit of an art block right now, so I'm open to requests.

EXPLORING THE DYNAMICS OF HAEDUS ​​WITH THE OTHER STARBOYS :D

well as I said before, Haedus before meeting Naos and Nembus was lonely like VERY lonely, and I think with that he would sympathize a lot with Star, they both know in the main way what it's like to be alone, also Star is a lot like Naos, they are a ball full of energy lmao, so Haedus would be familiar with the behavior and it would generate a lot of nostalgia of how he was in his first years of existence.

CIELO FROM @signed-sapphire REWRITE!

I could say that the dynamic with Cielo is very similar to that of rottmnt Donnie and Leo or Polites and Odysseus, not if my idea is right (sorry if it is Bo) but I feel that Cielo would play a lot of pranks on Haedus so that in the end both of them would join to annoy the group of starboys even more

SUEÑO FROM @oh-shtars REWRITE!

At first I guess they both wouldn't be so sociable?…I mean Sueño I think is a bit insecure with new people, and that would remind Haedus quite a bit of Naos so he would give him his time to be close with Sueño, after that these guys would get along quite well, although after hearing Sueño's backstory he would probably have a nice meet with RFTS!Great :)

Plus there's also a little something that makes them get along or at least understand each other better….

Soooooo maybe Haedus has tried or seriously thought about THAT before meeting Naos and Nembus, but back to the topic Sueño and Haedus feel bad about themselves even though their reasons are different, so somehow or another Huedus would try to make Sueño come to his senses so he doesn't go through the same thing he did, maybe he doesn't have the same efficiency as Asha but he would try to help a little bit
