This is outrageous. Kennedy is a Qanon, anti-vaxxer, and deranged kook. He is not a scientist, a medical researcher, or a doctor. In fact he has no expertise at all regarding drugs, vaccines, or nutrition. He was a pretend attorney hired because of his family connections.
The common man thinks all rich people are smart and everyone with a degree is automatically an Einstein level genius. Studies have shown that the public has been conditioned to follow the lead of any tall man in a suit, or woman in business attire.
Just because someone dresses like a business person and knows a little more about issues than Joe Sixpack doesn’t make them a f—king expert. It’s easy for the ordinary person to believe in conspiracy theories when they don’t know how anything works.
The Dunning-Kruger effect doesn’t literally mean too stupid to know you’re stupid. Rather it is a cognitive bias in which people with limited competence in a given field overestimate their abilities. Neil deGrasse Tyson on his podcast Star Talk describes this as a hobbyist thinking they are on par with highly educated scientific researchers.
We have the entire MAGA movement thinking they understand everything because they read a blurb on the internet from random strangers with no credentials. Worse yet most of this “I did my own research” crowd are unwittingly being strung along by professional propagandists.
The Joe Sixpack crowd thinks Trump and Musk are highly educated and have a grasp of everything under the sun. In fact they each possess a bachelor’s degree in economics and nothing more. You couldn’t teach elementary school or be a librarian without a master’s degree. They are totally outclassed by the majority of politicians, statesmen, world leaders, financiers, scientists, medical professionals, and virtually everyone they come into contact with. They each have only two things going for them. One, they were born rich and two, they promote themselves endlessly to the masses as stable geniuses when in fact they are drug addled fools. Again the lower class thinks they are rich so they must be smart.
RFK Jr thinks because his law firm handled some environmental cases, mostly unsuccessfully, he is an expert on medicine and science. In point of fact he is merely the hobbyist Neil deGrasse Tyson has described. The hobbyist who doesn’t understand the big picture or the finer points of how anything works.
Public, and private education, hasn’t failed us. In red states which are now the majority, Republican politicians and oligarchs who own for profit charter schools have deliberately dumbed down education in their states. It is not the fault of the teachers who are mostly well educated and good intentioned fighting an uphill battle against the willful ignorance of Republicans who want an electorate of sheep that simply obey without question. Pile on top of that the radicalization of the red states masses by right-wing propaganda outlets and you have a recipe for disaster. For profit charter schools are underfunded, have lower paid staff (unqualified) and are not held to the strict standardized testing criteria public schools face.

As someone who loves a good vaccine....I hate y'all. As someone who likes my prescriptions....I hate y'all. As someone who likes fluoride in their water...I REALLY HATE Y'ALL. I really do. Stg
Where the hell you at? come down now!
Tumblr media
I don’t care about hurting anyone’s feelings anymore.
You are a dumb fuck if you voted for that rapist, racist felon.
You are a dumb fuck if you thought both candidates would be bad and sat your ass at home.
Don't you fucking dare complain when your kid's teeth start separating from their gums.
Don't fucking complain when polio and measles are running rampant.
Don't fucking complain when cancer research is halted along with research for other deadly diseases.
Don't fucking complain when you can't find the prescription drugs to treat your serious conditions because the brain worm guy who is not a doctor will be deciding what medications you should be taking.
Don't complain when RFK Jr. has children drinking raw milk.
This is what the fuck you wanted. A kook in charge of America’s health. #DemsUnited

Eric Hananoki at MMFA:
Charlene Bollinger is a fringe commentator whose account endorsed threads praising Adolf Hitler and pushing claims about a “Jew World Order.” She recently said that she’s “part of” and “working with” former President Donald Trump’s transition team to help close friend Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
During a November 1 interview on One America News’ Real America with Dan Ball, Bollinger said: “The transition team right now is being put together behind the scenes. I am working with a number of people to put together something beautiful so that Bobby Kennedy can roll out his vision and we get to be a part of this.”  Ball replied: “That's awesome. I didn't know that. So you're going to help with the transition and getting people in place to help Bobby clean up these agencies.” Bollinger also said she's “working with the [Trump] transition team” in a November 1 video.  She stated: “We have been supporting Donald Trump since he came down that escalator. We've been friends for Bobby even longer, and we've been working with both of these amazing men. And here we are now working with the transition team to be able to get what we do out in a bigger way, the solutions that we have been able to give millions.” Bollinger added: “If you want Bobby Kennedy to help you, you’ve got to vote for Donald Trump because we're working with that team and we're going to bring the real solutions in a bigger way. We're so excited.”
[...]
The Bollingers repeatedly endorsed antisemitism, including a thread about a “Jew World Order”
The Bollingers post on social media through a shared account (“TTAVOfficial”). On that account, the Bollingers have repeatedly promoted antisemitism.  On August 4, the Bollingers encouraged their followers to “read” an “entire thread” by the pro-Hitler account “Truth Troll” pushing a sprawling antisemitic conspiracy theory (the “Khazarian Mafia”) that claims that many modern-day Jewish people are frauds who have hidden behind Jewish identity to oppress the world.  The thread promoted by the Bollingers further claimed that there is a “J E W WORLD ORDER in place” and specifically criticized officials for being Jewish.
Fringe anti-vaxxer extremist and conspiracist kook Charlene Bollinger, a close friend of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has endorsed antisemitic content. Bollinger is said to be working with the Trump transition team to support the MAHA mission with RFK Jr.

sire I think RFK's entire pull was being a conservative that wasn't trump, I have to imagine that the people who would have voted for him either just won't vote or will go democrat because they are also conservative. What are your thoughts?
I would bet the majority of RFK voters who still vote will vote Trump in the general. Many won't vote ofc, maybe even the majority, but if so it will be barely so. And he is the kind of "conspiracy theory" candidate that Trump is already the pick of. I do not think his base is composed of "never Trumpers", as they tend to be moderates, and RFK is a fringe kook type. As such, given how tight the race is, even though it is small numbers, they could move the needle.
But I definitely don't think this is definitive or anything, these are hard to predict - sometimes it is obvious like with Ralph Nader, but RFK is difficult to pin down.

Joe Rogan Ridicules Media for 'Hemorrhaging' Audiences, Drops Brutal Dose of Reality: 'You're Delusional'
Tumblr media
UFC color commentator, comedian, and just generally interesting dude Joe Rogan has proven that he’s not just a podcaster—although his “Joe Rogan Experience” has proven to be one of the most popular podcasts ever to hit the interwebs—but he’s shown that he actually has significant influence in the political realm.
Both Donald Trump and his vice presidential running mate JD Vance sat for three-hour interviews with the maverick just days before the election, while Democrat appointee nominee Kamala Harris wimped out and instead threw hundreds of thousands of dollars to build a set so she could air her views on some trash named “Call Her Daddy.”
Many observers thought this was a key mistake by the Queen of Word Salads and a massive win for Team Trump.
Receipts: This Expensive Podcast Misfire Manages to Sum Up the Costly Problems of the Harris Campaign
JD Vance Lights It Up In Terrific Interview With Joe Rogan, With Hilarious Moments About Kamala
Joe Rogan's Epic Interview of Donald Trump, Including What They Said About Kamala
On Wednesday, Rogan blasted what remains of the legacy media after they were so thoroughly humiliated on November 5:
"I was just reading something about CNN's ratings and MSNBC's ratings post-election - they've crashed," Rogan said on Wednesday’s episode. "All these left-wing kooks on YouTube are hemorrhaging subscribers. Where people go, ‘You guys are out of touch, you're not accurate, you're delusional.’ And people are speaking with their subscriptions and they're speaking with their purchasing of the Washington Post and their purchasing of the New York Times."
As we reported, the New York Times sullied its reputation even further, if that's possible, by running a ridiculous fact-check on RFK Jr. where they tried to say he was wrong but, in the next sentence, basically proved that he was one hundred percent correct. Rogan wasn’t having it:
He then recalled how the New York Times published a baffling fact-check this week of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s claim that a popular breakfast cereal contains several artificial ingredients in the United States that are not used in other countries. "The New York Times just debunked - in the most insane way - debunked RFK Jr's assertion that the ingredients in Froot Loops are different in Canada than they are in the United States. They fact-checked it, while saying he was accurate, so their fact-check - it's so dumb when you see the fact - I tweeted it." He went on to say, "The fact check is so dumb because the fact check says it's not correct, they have the same ingredients… except for these harmful chemicals."
Idiocy: Do You Want More RFK Jr.? Because This Is How You Get More RFK Jr.
Joe Rogan Hilariously Mocks 'The View' After They Launch an Incredibly Silly Attack on Him
Rogan refused to let up, continuing to call out the absurd parody that has become our once-respected media:
"That made my brain hurt just reading it," one of Rogan’s guests said. "That’s the New York f---ing Times," Rogan exclaimed in disbelief. "This is what the New York Times is doing, so, of course, you’re gonna hemorrhage subscribers, of course. You're crazy, you're saying something that's nuts and also… What is your motivation?" "If we're saying that these things have been eliminated in other countries because they've been proven to be dangerous - what is your motivation for saying he was wrong?" he wondered.
Truth be told, I would never have in a million years thought a UFC commentator could become the voice of the top podcast in America—one that regularly receives far more ears and eyeballs than the dullards over at MSNBC—and turn into an influential political voice. But that’s exactly what he has done, mostly by talking truth to his listeners and suffering no fools.
He became a major factor in the 2024 elections because he relentlessly exposed one thing—something we do here at RedState indefatigably—and that is, when it comes to our formerly powerful lamestream media, the emperor wears no clothes.
Nobody likes to be hit up for money. If I get one more email from the schools my kids attended demanding ever more donations, I will scream. (That being said, I actually do give to some of the aforementioned institutions: the ones who didn't go woke when it was fashionable, the ones who didn't support locking our children into their bedrooms during COVID. There weren't that many of them, but for those that stood up, I'm happy to send a check.)
Sometimes, there's a good reason for the requests. At RedState, Big Tech and Big Government have repeatedly tried to censor us—to shut us down—but we refused to be silenced.
One way we survived those Dark Days and continued to thrive is through our VIP program.
We'll continue to bring you real news and the stories that the mainstream media keeps ignoring or burying. Consider upgrading to a VIP account for the news and coverage you won’t find anywhere else. VIP status will open a plethora of stories and podcasts here at RedState. And in my humble opinion, the best part of all is that you get to be part of our smokin' comments section, where you get to say what you really feel. Trust me, it's lit.
A Gold-level account gets you access to all of our sister sites in Townhall Media: PJ Media, Twitchy, Hot Air, Bearing Arms, and Townhall.com, while our new Platinum level gets you all that plus access to a catalog of feature-length films and a credit to the new Townhall store. Use promo code SAVEAMERICA for a 50% discount, enjoy, and be a part of the team. Fight, fight, fight!
Thank you for being here for the fight to take back America.

Matt Gertz at MMFA:
Tucker Carlson has devoted much of his post-Fox News career to solidifying his influence over the GOP.  He used his sway with former President Donald Trump to secure the vice presidential slot for his near-duplicate Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, helped to line up anti-vaccine crusader Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s endorsement of Trump, and addressed the Republican National Convention. But Carlson isn’t just advising the Republican presidential nominee and serving as a GOP kingmaker. He is also hard at work shaping the future of the party by bringing the most deranged, racist, and disreputable people in American politics into the Republican tent. Carlson is building power on the fringes. He is turning a coterie of far-right, conspiracy-minded politicians and commentators — many elevated by Trump himself — into a coherent faction that could further displace the current party establishment and reify the blood-and-soil nationalism and reactionary politics of Carlson and Vance.
[...]
Jones is part of Carlson’s network of crackpots, bigots, and kooks
Carlson is at the center of an anti-Fox, anti-establishment faction of the right-wing media and Republican Party.  Carlson’s tour booked some of the more traditional players in the alliance, including GOP politicians like Vance and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), MAGA strategists like Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk and Kevin Roberts, and former Fox personalities like Dan Bongino, Glenn Beck, and Megyn Kelly.  But it also incorporates figures like Jones and Kennedy Jr. who were previously consigned to the fringes of American politics. MAGA keyboard warriors, hardcore bigots, and deranged loons are welcomed on Carlson’s show for cozy interviews that allow them to reach and influence his large online audience. Carlson’s effort to bring extremists into the mainstream right dates back to his time at Fox, when he worked to sanitize fringe figures and launder their views to his audience. But after being forced off the air and hanging out his own shingle, anything even resembling guardrails is off, as a review of his guest list shows.
Former FNC host Tucker Carlson’s far-right tent of influence spans from Alex Jones to J.D. Vance to RFK Jr.

AP, via The Guardian:
Robert F Kennedy Jr, a prominent proponent of debunked public health claims whom Donald Trump has promised to put in charge of health initiatives, said Saturday that the former president would push to remove fluoride from drinking water on his first day in office if elected. Fluoride strengthens teeth and reduces cavities by replacing minerals lost during normal wear-and-tear, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The addition of low levels of fluoride to drinking water has long been considered one of the greatest public health achievements of the last century. Kennedy made the declaration Saturday on Twitter/X alongside a variety of claims about the heath effects of fluoride. “On January 20, the Trump White House will advise all U.S. water systems to remove fluoride from public water,” Kennedy wrote. Trump and his wife, Melania Trump, “want to Make America Healthy Again”, he added, repeating a phrase Trump often uses and links to Kennedy.
Trump told NBC News on Sunday that he had not spoken to Kennedy about fluoride yet, “but it sounds OK to me. You know it’s possible.” The Republican nominee declined to say whether he would seek a cabinet role for Kennedy, a job that would require Senate confirmation, but added: “He’s going to have a big role in the administration.” Asked whether banning certain vaccines would be on the table, Trump said he would talk to Kennedy and others about that. Trump described Kennedy as “a very talented guy and has strong views”. The sudden and unexpected weekend social media post evoked the chaotic policymaking that defined Trump’s White House tenure, when he would issue policy declarations on Twitter at virtually all hours. It also underscored the concerns many experts have about Kennedy, who has long promoted debunked theories about vaccine safety, having influence over US public health.
In 1950, federal officials endorsed water fluoridation to prevent tooth decay, and continued to promote it even after fluoride toothpaste brands hit the market several years later. Though fluoride can come from a number of sources, drinking water is the main source for Americans, researchers say.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a deluded kook who should not be anywhere near power.
