Покупала себе новую косметику в конце июня, правда почти всё практически израсходовала 😆 как обычно ничего не задерживается.

Скрабы сахарные, очень хороший и экономные. Набор масок тоже попался отличный, а вот сыворотка для лица была посредственная 🤷🏻

Пенку для лица и бальзам пока не пробовала, но уже скоро. Посмотрите какой милейший бальзам (я его заказала на Тему).

Hi! This blog is like the saving grace of the past year, thank you so much! I was wondering if you had any thoughts on Revuele Expert+ Shine Control Smoothing Serum or similar products promising mattfying effects. Is it nulifyed if I go in with a creamy moisturiser and SPF after? I have pretty oily, somewhat sensitive skin. Thank you 💕

i hadn’t heard of this brand or product, but looking into it, it seems that its function hinges on niacinamide, fruit AHAs, and a trademarked ingredient complex (evermatt) that they claim “significantly reduces pore size, removes oily sheen, regulates sebum production and prepares skin before applying make-up”. now, i have issues with two of those claims, because cosmetic claims are regulated in the EU, and they may not overstate a product’s action nor insinuate effects that would make it a drug rather than a cosmetic:

reducing pore size is not a thing, pores have a fixed size. if you clean up the gunk clogging them, it helps them appear less visible, but regardless, this is a claim that preys on a common misconception.

regulating sebum production is interfering with the physiological functioning of the skin, thus making it a very borderline claim, more suited to a drug than a cosmetic, even if such an effect was indeed verified when testing the extract.

however, i think by itself the product may indeed work in the sense you’d expect of something geared towards sebum control, though i can’t guarantee it, given that i’ve never tried it. still, if you layer dewy products over it, you will see dewiness regardless, even if you’re still getting the other long-term skin benefits of niacinamide, AHAs and such. don’t expect a bulletproof mattifying effect.

if you want a long-term mattifying effect, you should look into either japanese SPF with alcohol (if you can tolerate that), like the ones by bioré, since they tend to dry down quite matte, and/or sebum control primers (innisfree has one), and/or powders (if you find one with SPF, it can double as a good way to touch up sun protection throughout the day). keeping your skin in good health also helps prevent the root issue: use lightweight hydrating products liberally, and opt for products including ingredients like AHAs, BHAs, and niacinamide.

also, if you have sensitivities to common allergens like limonene, linalool and hexyl cinnamal, this product contains those, though that won’t be an issue for everyone. just pointing that out since you mentioned a certain degree of sensitivity; you’ll know better than me whether such ingredients have posed an issue for your skin in the past.

Hoy os quiero hablar de mí nueva rutina de belleza, llevo usandolos un mes, y ya no puedo vivir sin ellos, son de la marca #revuele y yo siempre los compro en #primor el precio es una pasada de #economico para la #calidad de los productos. . La #mascarillaexfoliante es de arcilla rosa, doble punto a su favor 😜, deja piel muy limpia y suave, el #oxidodezinc nos ayuda a mantener la piel sin grasa, limpia los poros, el acné y los puntos negros, #mentol deja esa sensación de frescura en la piel y limpieza más #vitaminae deja la piel hidratada y sin irritación, y mi piel es #sensible #atopica . El #tonicofacial huele de maravilla, su textura es densa pero deja la piel perfecta, suave y sin nada de brillos, los poros van dejando de estar abiertos, es una pasada. . Y mi favorita, empezé usándola como #prebasemaquillaje y ahora la uso a diario, como crema hidratante. Deja mi piel suave, hidratada, ayuda a combatir el acné, los poros, arrugas y lo mejor iguala el tono de la piel incluso aclarándolo, en mi caso con pequeñas manchas por la exposición al sol. .
