EDIT: Does the GIF play for anyone else?

Work in progress of a scene I’ve been working on the past month and a bit. Ratchet fans might like this one!

I’m entering a competition called Retrogasm, in which you take a character from an old game (PS2 or prior) and remake it to today’s standards, in 3D. I’ve taken Angela Cross from Ratchet and Clank 2. Here she is so far!

Still a bit of work to do on this, I’m modelling the flies that attack you on Planet Tabora.There will be  swarm of them behind her, chasing her. Stay tuned for the final image!

Finished the raw retopo. No optimization yet, though I'll be getting to that shortly. There’s a lot of mesh underneath, especially with her very layered clothing. I’m gonna have to delete a lot of tris. Also, the armor lace is killing me. I’m probably going to redo it once the Retrogasm competition is over, but for now I’ll stick with it.

Ton of progress for the night. The high-to-low poly process went very smoothly. There’s small adjustments to be made everywhere on the mesh. Afterward, most of my time will be in substance painter. I’m not sure if I have time to rig, but I’ll see what I can do within a week. I’m also missing her backpack.. but I’m saving that for very last.

Started the low poly phase. Shouldn't be too hard. It's the UVs that take more time. I’m mostly worried about the hands and feet since they’re a bit more complicated than any other mesh (not including the head). I might save those for last
