I wanted to thank you, I may not articulate this correctly but I feel it is important to thank you.
Mainly I wanna thank you for Uncle Tello, it's very hard to find adult representation for autism and he is just so visibly autistic! It's fantastic! He has low empathy and he is an emotional core for the story (at least I feel he is) and the relationship he has with Casey Jr. and his family is amazing, they understand each other and it's just so refreshing and layered.
Tello gets to be so open (at least I think he is not masking), the character you made makes me want to be more open about being visibly autistic, makes my heart warm. Just... thank you so much for that.
(Also, I spoke to my 63-year-old mother about your comic for an hour and now she wants me to read her every update, you have a great way to tell stories!)
Ah thank you:3 Autistic characters have always been interesting to me, but people often make them...how should I put it? Excessive? Like...when you look at a character and realize that the author tried to cram in every glaring sign of autism that they could think of.
What I like about Rise Donatello is the fact that he is just ..allowed? in being autistic. No one emphasizes it, no one talks about how OH nO he's sOO diFferent. He just lives his way and his family lives with him and I try to portray that in my comic as well:)

looking back on the s2 promo material is soo insane how nonsensical it was. they really talked about the importance of representation(tm) every chance they got while simultaneously undermining themselves both in the show and the promotion. i remember there was like a video about bollywood movies but it was charithra paired with nicola for some reason??? instead of simone the actual indian female lead they made such a big deal about or even shelley conn. genuinely need to study the marketing team's brains! also note how all talk about representation went out the window for s3, even outside of race
the way they did a bridgerton magazine shoot for every main couple but for season 2 they did it for the SIDE CHARACTERS instead? the way they did a pat mcgrath collection, a makeup brand literally KNOWN for how it’s pigmented products where on dark skin but for season 2 gave the campaign to the white blonde instead?? the way they had a soaps collection, didn’t do a lily soap and made it about whistledown instead ???? even production! like whole storyline for an irrelevant featherington cousin while kate /THE MAIN CHARACTERS/ entire backstory that was CRUCIAL to the plot got erased??! NOT even letting them be the only ones on the official poster? as would make SENSE for a romance??? LIKE WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON HEREEEE 😭

I understand everyone trying to make it about buddie but I kinda hate it. I mean yeah I love buddie but it's such a big character development for buck. rediscovering his sexuality in his adulthood. going on a first date with a boy is soo special to me. and genuine bi/pan representation is so rare. i just hope abc doesn't fuck it up. yeah okay the jealous eddie jokes a funny but his sexuality has nothing to do with eddie. even though he most certainly has a crush on him and that is why i love how they showed buck discovering his sexuality because if they just gave us buddie their sexualities would have been overshadowed by buddie and i think it's so important to let them discover their sexualities apart from each other.

What do you think about people saying that us Bylers are not supporting Robin as a character and they only see her as a gay mentor for Mike & Will? That we only see Rovickie as gay mentors for them. Some people are saying that because we pay alot of attention to Byler that it overshadowed Robin of her coming out as lesbian, personally i disagree with this, obviously everybody has their own opinions but I we can also voice our own. With Robin, I obviously see her as her own character yk? I don't see her as just a gay mentor for the kids, Robin is her own person, Rovickie is their own ship, I know it may look like I probably just see her as just a gay mentor but it's really not like that, she is an absolutely amazing character, she is for sure as hell a good example for people who are in the closet? I feel the same with Rovickie. Rovickie is their own ship, but I really don't see anything wrong with wanting them to guide Mike & Will, it's a necessity imo because their soo young and they don't know how to deal with all of this (especially in the 80s) they need help and guidance. But yeah I went on a whole rant haha, BTW I'm sorry if I don't explain well lol
i actually just saw the thing you're talking about and screenshotted it to post here!! i honestly think its so dumb. and i dont just say that because im a byler fan and feel attacked
if you're a byler fan and run a byler account, no shit you're going to mostly post about byler. if you don't run a robin blog/account you probably don't mention her as much as whatever your account is dedicated to. i do talk about other ST topics and general theories but its mostly byler. because thats just what i like to talk about. so yes a lot of the time when i mention other characters its in relation to byler, not always though. that doesn't mean i dont like the characters or only view them as support beams for byler.
as a lesbian i love robin and think she's wonderful representation. i heard it was maya hawke's idea which i think means robin was originally going to be straight and just didn't see steve that way so it was going to be about him accepting the fact that a girl doesn't like him just because. but i'm so happy maya suggested that because its eons better than the original. robin is a great character and i think her coming out scene is so perfect and well written. her fear is so relatable, that feeling when you realize your guy friend likes you but you really do love him and don't want to lose him? its scary. and maya portrayed that beautifully. seeing her be accepted by steve was so emotional and also really important.
but i don't say all of that every day because i'm not a robin blog. i've posted about her/rovickie a few times without relation to byler, but yes i frequently mention parallels and mike and will interacting with robin and vickie in s5. because i am absolutely PUMPED FOR THAT. will is my favorite character and i think it would be really touching to see him interact with another queer person and feel like he can finally open up and feel safe while doing it. i don't know why some people think we're evil for wanting that. like its such a real thing for queer youth, making your first gay friend, perhaps someone a bit older and more realized/confident, and being SO happy that you can speak freely and be yourself. i want that for will who at this point in the story feels like a mistake, and of course mike makes him feel better about that as he said, but he cant speak freely around him. he could do that with robin. he probably feels like the only gay person in hawkins, so imagine how happy he would be to find out there's MORE!! THEY EXIST!! YOU'RE NOT ALONE!!!!
if you don't want to see queer characters connect especially in the 80s i honestly don't know what to say. you've got some serious pettiness problems if you don't want that
and i also hate the trend of diehard ST fans acting like the characters are real people. they're made up. you can't hurt their feelings. getting offended on behalf of a character is some real chronically online behavior.
there is no quota on how many times you have to post about a certain character. its your account and they're not real people so you can do WHATEVER YOU WANT. for every post you make relating robin to will or rovickie to byler, you don't have to make another post talking about how great robin is to make up for it. that's stupid. i seriously dont know what they expect when they go on a BYLER ACCOUNT.
i used to get attacked on twt for only mentioning el in relation to byler, which first of all wasn't true, but even if it was WHO CARES??? i was a byler account literally WHAT DID THEY EXPECT??? it hurts no one. people just hate byler fans (which honestly i lowkey understand cause some of us are terribly annoying) and look for any reason to sound justified when they express that hate.
you dont have to equally divide your love and attention to all the characters. you don't. at all.

thank you!! im happy youre happy. i think its important that for modern aus theres still that backseat knowledge of nonas mortality/necromancer sickness in general, so that combined with her having a service dog (because she deserves it) resulted in a brainstorm of potential heart/blood flow issues she might have. in the end we were discussing pots vs vt and decided vt seemed more fitting since i like the idea of nona w a pacemaker

i wanted to give just a few more of my heartstopper opinions lol
1.) the teachers are great characters and not at all pointless like some people try to make them out to be. heartstopper is targeted to an adult audience just as much as teens and it is soo so important to see adults having moments of discovery the same way the kids did bc its never too late to have good experiences in relationships and even if u missed out on that in high school or college, theres no deadline. i think seeing that message is very powerful.
alice was correct in switching aled for issac bc as much as i miss aled and i think having demi representation would be awesome, issac embodies aled in a good way, provides aroace rep and leaves open an opportunity for a radio silence adaptation!
charlie would definitely propose first. alice has said that n & c both plan on it and buy rings but they dont know who would actually do it. i dont think nick would propose first bc as seen in the past nick always waits untill he is entirely sure charlie is ready for something, such as the kiss, or saying "i love you". but i do agree that they would both plan on proposing to each other 🫶.
last thought is that although it is really cool that so far all the actors physically looked so much like the characters, that is not the most important part of the casting process. i know some people are upset the actor for micheal doesnt nessecarily match the comic description, but i feel like in the clip we got he embodies the character so well that it doesnt even matter.

1. I completely agree, the teachers are an incredible addition to the story. And I think it's very comforting for young adults/adults when watching knowing they don't have to be teenagers to experience wholesome gay romance. It's a great message to send :)
2. I think it's good they switched aled for Isaac in the tv adaption. Like do NOT get me wrong i ADORE aled. But his story goes far beyond heartstopper and it gave great room for aroace representation since sadly there isn't much representation for it. Also I would love a radio silence tv adaption AHHH.
3. I saw this post a little while back from someone on tumblr saying that they think nick and Charlie would try propose on the same day but one of them would go first and the other would be like "I WAS JUST ABOUT TO PROPOSE TO YOU?!" and I thought it was so cute. But I like this too and it would make more sense for Charlie to propose first. GOD I hope we someday hear about who proposes to who because that would be so cute! Or have a mini comic called "the proposal" or something
4. OHH I COULD RAMBLE ON FOR HOURS ON END ABOUT THIS! I watched the new clip and I instantly thought "hell yeah, THATS Michael holden". He embodies him and hit his mannerisms on the nail. I hope to see him quite a bit this season.

Soo today I decided to look further into whathever happened to the I Giacobini screenplay - buckle in, I did my best to include as much info as I could find!!
"I Giacobini" (the jacobins) is an Italian screenplay from 1962 based on Federico Zardi's homonymous drama and it is, as of today, a lost media.
The cause for the disappearance of the screenplay from the RAI (Italian national public broadcasting company) archives is either reconduced to the lack of care for the preservation of medias at the time or to the theory which believes the cause to be due to political circumstances.
According to Wikipedia (eh):
...while Italy was in the hands of the Democrazia Cristiana, RAI for the first time broadcast to the public a screenplay «practically entirely aligned with the left and in which Robespierre doesn't come off as a bloody monster but rather like a Che Guevara of reason»
The Democrazia Cristiana or DC (Christian Democracy) was a centrist christian democratic political party in Italy.
The screenplay became largely appreciated by the public, as well as receiving praises from Palmiro Togliatti, exponent of the PCI (Italian communist party) - which happens to be one of the DC 's political opponents at the time.

Palmiro Togliatti on "Rinascita" wrote that television was bringing a change, since «for the first time it brought a representation of the French revolution inside Italian households»
I went ahead and looked through the archives of Rinascita but found this.
Here I found Togliatti's comment on the screenplay - the below image is a section of it:
The screenplay I Giacobini can be considered an important event of national culture. [...] What matters is that for some weeks a few billions of Italians, have seen and have had in front of their minds a revolution, have been brought to think about about it and to discuss it, seeing it as a political, social and human conflict.
It's then necessary to understand the political contexts of the time both within and outside of Italy:

...In 1962, under the threat of the cold war, a few months before the Cuban Missile Crisis, a screenplay remarked positively by the leader of a communist party in a NATO country could've raised any kind of reaction.
Thus, the mystery surrounding the disappearance of the screenplay is believed to be caused by some archivist involved with the democristian party.
While this is widely believed to be the reasoning behind it there's not much clear evidence and it's likely impossible to investigate since so much time has passed.
About the screenplay: it was broadcast in 6 episodes, of 90 minutes each, between 11th March - 15th April of 1962 (with a rerun in 1963 after which the tapes disappeared).
It originally featured La Marseillaise, La Carmagnole and Ça ira as well as 4 songs produced for the theater play by Gino Negri.
Audio Recording
In 2012 a man came forward with a (illegally) recorded copy of the audio from the screenplay and sent it over to the Rai archives. The studio managed to recover and digitalize the audios of the six episodes - sadly the video recording is still missing.
Funnily enough, the archive page on which the audios were supposedly made public is gone as of today - but I have found YouTube uploads here: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]
Also here's a doc that wast broadcast on Italian television on the 11th March of 2012, in honor of the 50 years since the first run of the screenplay - (it's in Italian, if anyone's interested I'll gladly sub it/provide a translation)
In short - bless that viewer for pirating the audio in 1962 and lots of hate to whoever lost the tapes..

Thoughts from reading Yona of the Dawn Ch. 10
Ch.10 in summary: in a manifestation of her internal change, an enraged Yona takes a stand to try and save Hak from Tae-Jun and co but ultimately causes her and Hak's symbolic death when they fall from a cliff, leaving Tae-Jun and Soo-Won to grapple with the results of their actions as they grieve.
"She's like...a raging firestorm. I can't look away. Did her highness...ever look like this before? At the palace she seemed so young...and weak. Just an ordinary girl. But now, even though she's lost everything..."
Really Yona's "Wind Tribe moment"!! "Even though she's lost everything," she is taking a stance. Acting in spite of suffering. Not letting it stop her.
Repeating my end of chapter 9 thoughts with saying Yona's hidden power has been unlocked inside her. But she seemed like "just an ordinary girl," and well, she's not but she is. And also maybe there is power in being an ordinary girl! But for Yona specifically, she is ordinary in that she doesn't seem to have any special talents or abilities, at least not yet. She's not "good" at anything. But she is learning her own power and strength.
Summing Yona moving forward as "passionate, not passive"
"He's going to die" – look how big that text is! She cares so much about him.
We also get the very important and clear parallel to King Il's death. Yona did get there too late to prevent it, but upon seeing her dead father, she froze. Here, she dives into action.
No more just sitting and hiding and taking it. Yona embodies "stay afraid but do it anyway" What can she do? It doesn't matter. She has to do something.
The eyes here are really something. In Yona's expression you can see her terror and emotion and almost feel her shifting back into how she felt in the moment of her father's death. Tae-Jun's eyes are very expressive too.
It's also interesting how casual (and even excited) Tae-Jun and co are about killing Hak.
Grabbed by the HAIR! And then BAM! She chops it off. HAIR SYMBOLISM, BABY. It is a physical representation of her internal change.
This contrasts the opening scene, where Yona is focused on her hair and her appearance. Now that seems frivolous and doesn't matter. It's not even in her thoughts at this moment. That's another part of her transformation– figuring out her priorities/what really matters.
And she's never used a sword, but that doesn't stop her! She'll do whatever she can in this desperate moment. She just keeps going, such a difference from her prior numb, frozen shock.
Hak is kind of the ultimate motivator for Yona here. She has become progressively more active, but with Hak, acting on someone else's behalf becomes more personal.
Also...Yona the beautiful badass (and again, look at her eyes! The depth there)
"I won't let them kill him! I refuse!" – Yona's stubborn determination, like when she stood her ground against Hak ("I've made up my mind") when leaving the Wind Tribe but in a more perilous, escalated situation.
And the parallel to her father's death was clear before now, but here we get it explicitly spelled out. Yona won't let more people she loves die.
"I said...get away from Hak!"
I keep pointing to the eyes but there's such EMOTIONALITY in them. And Yona is an emotional character, so I love seeing that come across in her face.
We've got kind of the "looks like a mess but has never looked more beautiful" energy
Oh look, a close-up on her eye XD (yes please)
"But...is this really...Princess Yona?" – the transformed Yona, her self-discovery and change is evident to others too. She's almost unrecognizable in her appearance + actions.
"Hak! It's my turn to save you." – awww. There is so much weight to these words. How much Hak means to her, her feelings of guilt and incapability... This whole encounter has been a test of "new Yona" and it must really feel like it for her in this moment. It's a bit like if she fails to save him, then that's it for her.
The energy here is very "I rather than die (with you) than live without you" + "if we go down, we go down together"
"You idiot...run away! You can't do this! Hurry up and get away–" – I like this little combination of teasing Hak + serious Hak. Obviously he's not teasing her in this moment, but he affectionately calls her an "idiot." I feel like you get that a lot in dynamics like Hak and Yona, one calling the other an "idiot" when they prioritize the other instead of what's in their own best interest.
"No! Never! If you die...I'll never forgive you!!" – this is the second time Yona has said this, the first being in chapter 3 after Hak and her flee from the palace. Here, we get a significant pause/reaction from Hak, almost like he didn't believe her before or didn't take it seriously considering the circumstances. But Yona is showing him how serious she was and is. He's seeing her choose him + staying by his side over her own survival.
Just...woah, wow, yes. Beautifully depicted.
And all that's left behind is...HER HAIR.
We see that Tae-Jun actually does care about Yona and that there's more to him than appears. He can be short-sighted and irrational + take things too far (compare his "flirting" in the flashback of chapter 3 with Hak's flirting– I don't love all of Hak's flirting but he is self-aware of when he's doing or saying something somewhat repulsive/off-putting whereas Tae-Jun is not).
Tae-Jun is a mess and a menace, but as the second son, he's also probably trying to prove himself, and thinking Yona has died clearly leaves him feeling horrified and dead inside.
Like Tae-Jun, Soo-Won is shocked and affected by Yona's "death." And OOOOH giving Soo-Won the hair he so loved HA
"Princess Yona...has left this world" – and HELLO I scream not just about the HAIR SYMBOLISM but Yona's SYMBOLIC DEATH (and REBIRTH!) that is happening. She's crossed a threshold.
More of Tae-Jun's reaction: he's feeling guilty + ashamed and can't live with himself. He's tortured by his actions and wants (begs!) to be punished.
"Punish me! Please!" – the desperation. Tae-Jun's outward display works as an expression of what Soo-Won is feeling on the inside and holding in.
Soo-Won thinking of Hak and Yona and their shared past brings me back to Hak and Yona facing the Soo-Won revealed by his betrayal: "Would you authorize this awfulness, Soo-Won?" + "Are you satisfied, Soo-Won?" Soo-Won is facing the results of his choices. And he did choose this, but he didn't want this result specifically. He didn't want his friends to die, but he must accept the responsibility for what happened.
YOON! (I love Yoon) What an introduction lol "What a pain. A pair of corpses" (also also more symbolic death and HakYona are tangled together in it, both having tried to protect the other)
But hello to whatever he was singing prior to finding Hak and Yona. "Long, long ago...the great red sun was devoured. And when the world went dark..." is he also describing what's happening/what is about to happen with Yona and co?

So let me say that any story with a high potential of gay angst is an instant favorite i. My book ( i might just be projecting a tad too much..)
That's why Jules really intrigues me, a small part of me kinda wish there's a happy ending to be found in their route (pls let them be secretly alive, or at least real enough in mc's mind)
So since you seemed to list homophobia in the trigger warning, i wander how much is it gonna play in the story? I know its a heavy topic and shoild be handled with caution but i feel like there has yet to be any IFs that brings it to focus you know, most just kinda glazes over it, which us honestly underdtandable. So, it makes me think that for F!Jules her dating Dylan might also be a way to avoid her queerness? Like its a comphet situation and it just bring the angst in. Though i guess this won't work for M!Jules since he dated Dylan, but i guess ut can bring gay angst for MC as in "Oh, so he DOES like guys, just not me specifically :(" kinda way???

Sadly that is never happening ahaha. Part of mc's character arc is learning to let go of Jules, understanding their grief and moving on.

The mc won't be facing judgement from other people in the present timeline for being who they are but when the mc's backstory is revealed, it will heavily influence the mc's inner monologue depending on the way mc chooses to react to the homophobia/transphobia they are subjected to by their mother. I will soon be adding internalised homophobia/transphobia to the trigger warning as well. I am currently thinking of way these scenes can be avoided by people but I am not sure if that will be possible because they are somewhat important in shaping the mc. These struggles are what give the mc more character depth. So, we'll have to see.

It is a sensitive topic. Which is exactly why I want it discussed in my IF. I don't like writing my characters as gay, lesbian etc. etc. just for the "inclusivity and representation." (Not talking about IFs but media in general.)

I saw your tags on that repost and I agree soo much. actually part of the reason I love your writing is because you write nuanced portrayals of the gods. something rick failed to do. Zeus didn’t even get a third of the depth that hades and Poseidon were given (and I don’t even like how the latter characters were written lol) like his best scene imo is the 1-1 conversation with Jason when he tells Jason that bc hes king he can’t show favoritism or praise especially not towards his kids. we get a sliver of what kind of character zeus could have been but that moment lasts for like 2 seconds and is forgotten. Which is a shame because Zeus was the most interesting god out of the big 3, he had a great setup in the first couple of books in the og series but that was tossed in favor oh his brothers. I could get into the Hera’s character but then we’d be here all day 🙃.
1 ) thank you!!! i try very hard to write the gods as something complex and multifaceted, and have thought long and hard about what makes them tick / what makes them human as much as what makes us like them. so thank you, i really appreciate that!
2 ) i wholeheartedly agree. i understand that per/cy jackson is a work of fiction designed for children, and so i acknowledge that the level of complexity and nuance the gods should have is going to be diminished, somewhat, to make it more palatable to children.
but that's actually not where my issues have ever been. i don't mind that certain parts of the gods are simplified - in some cases, i think it actually works! his representation of hestia, for example, is one of my favourites in the series because despite being a relatively simple goddess, he presents her in such an interesting way. she's nuanced and important.
the issue i have is with what he chooses to simplify and how. some of the worst examples you have mentioned: zeus and hera, namely. but i also find a lot of my grievances with ares, dionysus, and aphrodite as well (among others, but those ones always stood out to me). i think the progression of the series makes it ten times worse, because whereas zeus was mildly insufferable in pjo for being grouchy, prideful, and unintelligent, his arc leads him down a path from mediocre king to abusive tyrant in a jump that is just SO jarring.
because i agree!!! zeus' scene with jason in blood of olympus is genuinely one of my favourite moments. it makes zeus feel so much more raw and real and understandable. he has an incredibly difficult job to do, and as much as he loves jason, he can't be the father jason needs. its gut-wrenching, but it made sense.
then literally the next time zeus is mentioned in the series, its as an abuser, which frustrates me to no end. zeus is only given bad traits. anything redeemable about him is ripped away. and riordan reduces what was a mediocre representation (but one i could stomach) to something completely one-sided and hurtful.
the same can be said for hera, who is introduced trying to help the heroes who immediately start shitting on her for something they know SO little about, and then is painted as the villain for the rest of the series - even when she's the only one actively trying to solve the problems in heroes of olympus. i understand her methods are questionable, but she's right. she's petty and vindictive because it suits the plot, which is super unfair to what she could have been.
ares is shown to be quite a doting (if eccentric) father to frank, which would be cool!! if it wasn't juxtaposed by his abuse of clarisse in the series and his general unintelligence. hades has character development that's interesting, but is also juxtaposed by the knowledge that his children were n*zis apparently???
i think riordan actually writes his demigods in a way that's super nuanced and interesting, but falls short with the gods. they're archetypes - which would be fine, if the archetypes they represented were at all accurate. zeus is the father of gods and men, and you mean to tell me he's the one who tells all his family they can't even see their kids? (this is another decision that irks me, mostly because it serves as the basis for the entire plot and makes NO sense to me). i think it would make far more sense for the reason for the distance to be a) an acknowledgement of the dangers of being around their children or b) recognition that interfering in the fates of heroes can seriously upset the balance of everything. but no, we get a paranoid, jaded, unintelligent king making dumb decisions.
i also think the mentality of "_____ gods are good and _____ gods are bad!!!" exists heavily in this series, which is also part of the problem. apollo is a good guy, but dionysus is the bad guy!!! poseidon is a good guy but zeus is a bad guy!!!! it's frustrating.
overall, i still love the series for what it meant to me and i find parts of it that i really enjoy, but i have to just squint through portrayals of the gods in that context because they're poor. riordan could have made some very seriously complex relationships between demigods and their godly parents, but most of them fall flat of their potential - mostly because the gods are never around for silly reasons!
anyway, i've rambled enough, but these are my thoughts. i'd love to chat more on the subject with anyone who is interested! i'm sure i've missed important things i would normally touch on but alas... thinking about zeus in that series is upsetting enough for me lmao

ILL TRY TO EXPLAIN TO YOU AS MUCH AS YOU NEED TO KNOW AS A BEGINNER LMAO
Okay so uh,, every team is made up of 11 players. 1 goalkeeper—a goalkeeper is like someone who stands at the goal net trying to not let the rival team score,, but you can just call them a goalie in slang!!! Depending on your formation, aka how you organise the rest of the players, you might have different numbers of defenders or strikers or middlefielders. Defenders are people near the goalkeeper trying to not let the opponent get past them and score, just like a goalkeeper, except the goalkeeper can hold the ball with their hands and throw it around (but according to FIFA rules, aka the Federation Internationale de Football Association who basically organise anything football, have like a 6 second rule on how long you can hold thr ball) AND ALSO. there's something called a box.
THE box is basically your limit on how far the goalkeeper can hold the ball to. Like once they get outside that box they need to put it back on the ground and kick it like any other player because you can't just be overpowered and hold it and run scoring a goal to the other side like you're playing basketball. Also YES goalkeepers CAN get out of that box area and play normally but that's like close to impossible just because you can doesn't mean you should...your goal is very vulnerable. Also the box is where we also do penalties which I'll get to in a second
Anyways,, besides defenders there's something called a middle fielder, staying at the middle of your side of the field. Obviously you saw that photo the stadium is split into 2 for 2 teams, each team has their own side and basically going into your rival's side is a counter attack, you're about to go score a goal and stuff. But the person who does the scoring is called a striker, basically your job is to make it through your opponent's defense and SHOOT into the goal. pretty lit tbh. To be a striker you need to be PRETTY fast to get through defense,, and have very good shooting skills (obviously) and probably a lot of training..

now for my favourite part:
Imagine you're a striker or whatever and while trying to score your rival's defense tackles you into the floor. Usually that's fine because hello?? That's their job?? BUT sometimes when it's very dangerous that it caused an injury or actually aggressive you get either 1) a yellow card, like a warning. If you get 2 of these in the same match you're out and suspended for this match. Or 2) a red card. Just a straight exit and thank you. Your tackle was so dangerous I'm afraid you don't need a warning. And in most cases, 3) a penalty.
Just you and the goalkeeper pretty much and you're so close to the net but it's also hard because the goalkeeper can play mind games and just catch it... THERE'S ALSO OTHER STUFF LIKE FREE KICKS AND OFFSIDE RULE THATS COMPLICATED SO YOU MIGHT NEED TO WATCH A VIDEO INSTEAD..but players wise like there's many footballers legends so let's just avoid that because I'm not doing the Messi or Ronaldo debate today. But for goodness sake just watch 1 video and you'll understand it easily.. favourite club and favourite player comes later when you learn game strategies and stuff🙏🙏

cripple culture is starting a blog that talks about rep in media by stating "x character from y is crippled" because at least you can enjoy seeing characters you can relate to in media while feeling isolated and alone/outcasted because you rarely to never see anyone like you in real life.
Yes, for sure. Media representation is SOO important. And only those who are USED to be represented will say it doesn't matter. It does. It very much does.
Movies like Finding Nemo and How To Train Your Dragon hold such a strong place in my heart because of how good those movies handle disability.
Cripple-coding, queer-coding, and neurodivergent-coding characters is HYPER valid, because when certain characters are written certain way canonically, they can fall into stereotypes, and often do.

I take art requests, for free, absolutely no payment needed and I usually and almost always go with my art style when drawing as well, FYI 😎
(It being free might change and instead of requests ill make it into actual commissions....I might start charging once I get a whole thing set up...and if i get a lot of requests I'd love to eaen a little extra for something I enjoy! But also you guys can enjoy art requests for free at the moment being!)
What I will draw for you guys:

•small comic strips (I think that's what it's called??) (like 9 to 10 panels and maybe more if needed)
•characters from shows (in my art style)
What I won't/can't:
•Animals (maybe if they aren't too hard, I will exspecily if your oc or a character has a pet i will try really hard to make it look right)
•realism (don't have much practice with that and prefer representational art more anyway)
•NSFW things (you all should know what kind of things I mean....im not talking about blood and gore btw💀🙏🙏 and don't ever ask because im never gonna draw it :> )
•full backgrounds (it's not my Strongsuit and i promise it will look like a 2 year old made it if i did)
When I do draw things please expect to see, some shading to be wrong sometimes, clothes mabey not folding 100% accurately....and faces looking a little weird sometimes as well as hands. I'm no professional, but I enjoy art and am learning still because we all start somewhere. The things I listed above are definitely some of my struggles and things I'm working on 💪💪💪
But please feel free to give me an art request whenever. It could take afew hours to a afew weeks, depending on how many requests I get and how busy I am.

Do I Wanna Know - Arctic Monkeys — it’s SOO ANGSTY. The late night rumination of what’s been lost and the temptation to just GO FOR IT despite being sworn enemies and knowing it’s probably not gonna have the best outcome. Yep, tfp megop I think.
Enemy - Imagine Dragons — Arcane was an objectively good series. I also think it’s a good representation of Megatron’s conflict with the upper class and Autobot fanatics because he’s made many enemies since he’s spoken of dismantling a system that had allowed them to perpetuate oppression to their benefit, and he’s determined to keep speaking up about it. Also just my little spin on it, but I think that it also represents his minor victim complex which didn’t take well to Optimus becoming a prime bc 1) he had many feelings for his “bro” and 2) he associated the primacy with the corruption of the High Council, and he felt deeply betrayed by Optimus because he thought Optimus would uphold the values of classism and corruption despite having fought by Megs’ side under his philosophy. He thought someone finally understood his struggle intimately, but then Optimus became a Prime so that OBVIOUSLY meant Megatron meant nothing to Optimus. Megs is so dramatic 🙄🙄
Reflections - The Neighborhood — so much ANGST!!! Each of them wanting the other to come back because they sold their soul for each other and believing the other just doesn’t love them anymore. The angst is scrumptious. Also it’s such a soft song, it’s giving “ruminating about your ex lover/revolutionary bestie at 3 am”
Star Walkin’ - Lil Nas X — Super peppy tune, it makes me wanna start a revolution!! AAAAA!! I think it’s representative of Megatron’s thirst to be recognized and to have power to change Cybertron’s corrupt authority, to champion a revolution fueled by the intoxicating idealism that would make Cybertron equal for everyone. I hc that Orion Pax and Megs when they were young would be brimming with idealism and determination and fall hard into whatever they set their minds to (including each other 🫣🫣). Obv as the war evolves and they find each other on opposite sides of the war, yes they fight each other bc they want to protect the ideals of their respective factions, but also because they’re constants in each others lives. Optimus Prime will always be a driving force in Megs’s life and vice versa. It’s a sort of weird camaraderie they share because they’re important to each other (not in the sense that they can’t live without the other, but like they’ve always been present in the others life).
The Heat - The Score — I almost didn’t put it on here because I feel like it’s very subjective, but it just reminds me of tfp Megatron’s obsession with Optimus, and like he wants him BAD.
Hold Me Down - The Happy Fits — so this might be a little OOC but I think what I hc as the early parts of Megatronus and Orion Pax’s relationship is what this song reminds me of. They’re just so in love but so awkward. It just hits you in the feels.
Centuries - Fallout Boy — do I even need to explain? also just more angst ✌🏽✌🏽
Run for Cover - The Killers — again, a very angsty tune and I love it.
Crossfire - Stephen — there’s a lot in this song. Firstly I see two perspectives in this song that I think fit well with Optimus and Megatron. One perspective is caught in the middle of a necessary war because of trying to fight oppression/corruption as someone who was a victim of that, and the weariness he feels, but also the fact that he has to continue fighting in order to protect himself and others like him from oppression (essentially being “caught in the crossfire”) — that’s Megs. The other one is someone who’s priveliged and mostly protected from oppression that has tangible effects on his life, but he still is conscious of others being oppressed and wanting to know why — that’s Optimus/Orion Pax. And in a way, megs and op find refuge in each other while this whole thing is going on because the lyrics lowkey reek of exhaustion to me, and it seems like both of them are exasperated/emotionally drained from this war. Eventually, as the war goes on, Optimus starts to question if he’s on the right side of the war. If he’s on the Autobot side, hes asking if blindly following orders is the right thing to do, kind of like in IDW’s Autocracy, because the destruction he’s bringing to the enemy doesn’t seem fair, because they’re just fighting for freedom. If he’s on Megs’ side, he’s questioning if Megatron’s brutality and totalitarianism is really the way to bring peace, even if he does love Megs and believes in Megs’ vision of a more equal Cybertron. There’s a lot of internal conflict that’s very characteristic of Optimus’s and Megatron’s rocky relationship and honestly it’s my crack.
