The breeze felt nice on Berry's skin. It was a soothing balm against the nervous heat living under her cheeks. With a soft exhale, Berry sat back. Minhyun was on his way to meet up with her. It was their second date since getting back together, but not the second time they'd seen each other.

Their extended vacation had allowed for plenty of time to remember exactly what had drawn them together in the first place.

Maybe too much time. Berry pressed a hand to her middle. There was no way she could be showing yet, she knew that logically, but she was acutely aware of the fact that their was life inside of her right now. What would Minhyun think? Did he even want kids? The topic had never come up before their break up, but it was going to now. The sound of a motorcycle made Berry's head turn. Minhyun was approaching, which meant she had to face this subject head on with him.

Berry decides to be nice and give Sungmin the kiss he's seeking. She enjoys kissing him; his lips are always soft and supple, thanks to the care he takes of himself. "Baby," she teases. "Alright, alright." Carefully, Berry settles herself in Sungmin's lap and lays her hands on his shoulders. "I'm all yours now. How do you want me?"

for perhaps both their sake, sungmin chooses not to mention that the reason dimitri listens to her is because he clearly wants to fuck her. he knows it will only cause an argument, even though he's right -- he's a man, he can read all the signs in dimitri's behaviour. still, it's a weird approach, treating her like shit to try and get in her pants. maybe he's hoping if he knocks her confidence enough she'll consider him the only option? ❝ now you're just being mean, ❞ he says with a pout, though he tries to steal another kiss before she pulls away. ❝ now that you're done with him, can we actually hang out? ❞

Once they warm up to it, they would tho. Put it in the weirdest places, make it like a kind of treasure hunt game for Frisk to find.

Frisk wouldn't. Even if they wish to, they wouldn't force Chara in a situation they're not sure they're okay with. (Unless they get their express approval. Then the halls will be decked with mistletoe in no time)

Being greeted with Minhyun's smile alone made Berry's long and dreary morning that much better. She let out a sigh as she lifted her arms, welcoming him into hers, and fell into him. His hug was everything she needed.

"So ready," Berry answered. She let Minhyun take her bag, making sure her jacket was adjusted accordingly before taking the extra helmet. "I don't know yet, but I definitely want something hot and savory. I think I've held back enough today."

From an outsider's perspective, Berry and Minhyun might seem like opposites, but they shared a hidden passion few knew about. Both found comfort and joy in music. Berry, in Minhyun's eyes, was an exceptional dancer, her movements fluid and captivating. Meanwhile, Minhyun found his own rhythm in singing, often filling the car with melodies as they traveled and that's what he did while driving to pick her up.

As Minhyun arrived, his attention initially elsewhere, it wasn't until he stepped out of the car that he spotted Berry, his face lighting up with a bright smile at the sight of her. "Hi, love. Hectic morning?" he asked, enveloping her in a warm embrace and placing a tender kiss top her head. "Ready to go?" he continued, releasing her to take her hand and fetch her bag. "Have you decided what you'd like to eat?"

Although, i would put two on the bottom and one standing on top between them for a more structurally sound position. And also it is kinder to the bottom link.

so easily marc it is NOT even funny.... as babynflames has said if he got trapped in a situation where he needed to lop off a limb and it wouldnt effect his riding he'd get that done instantly np. he is insane he loves winning he EASILY compartmentalizes his other competitors as obstacles that he will shove aside in REAL LIFE let alone fictional hunger games world. hes taking it i fear. but he WILL come out the other side deeply scared both mentally and physically... maybe he DOES have to lop off his arm and they give him a prosthetic but sometimes it aches at night and he shivers...

its the all-victor QUARTER QUELL where shit gets saucy in my opinion! vale as a fellow mentor... a well-liked victor that marc idolized as a kid who's been paraded around like a pony ever since... known for how fun (read: not fun comma scarring) his games were (vale was like 17 fuck ass bob big neon yellow tribute uniform internally screaming desperately playing to the cameras to survive. maybe won by doing equal parts looney tunes style pranks and his absolute ruthless efficiency with a blade.)

so him and marc see each other once a year for a few weeks around the games (similar to motogp they DO have to continually revisit the places they were most traumatized every year huh) and start a lil smth... gravitate towards each other when theyre both trapped in the capitol... wake up in each others beds most mornings and share looks across tables when the capitol socialites start soliloquizing... but they know cant do any more than that bc theyre in different districts (also: trauma.) so they keep it as casual as they can, even if marc's breath catches in his chest sometimes when vale looks at him, and when vale wakes up at home its with an arm reaching over the place in his bed he knows marc should be... and the capitol maybe doesnt know theyre fucking but IS certainly selling the friendship between two of its most popular victors to the cameras HARD... it is known that they tend to chat. it has been noted that they giggle. the panopticon has noticed the marc-being-a-weirdo-in-press-conferences stare.

anyways so the quell hits and marc gets reaped along with vale (who has been quietly supporting rebellious activity for years... gathering strength and numbers.... talking to the other aliens... using his icon status to sway the districts... ) and vale KNOWS the capitol will use marc against him. knows that they know he cares about him. knows that theyre doing this to get rid of them both—keep him in line. (actually in this scenario maybe marc pulled a katniss berry move to keep both him and alex alive. accidental revolutionary icon lol) and keeping marc close will only make the capitol try even harder to kill him which he cant STAND. and all marc knows is that suddenly vale pulls away hard, cold and abrupt. starts talking madddd shit about him in all of his interviews and press... and marc thinks vale is doing it to hype himself up to kill him in the arena and it KILLS him... he thought he was in tragic star crossed love... but he also keeps trying to convince himself he can bring himself to do the same when the time comes, even if it feels like a hole in his chest.... he has to get back to alex. so its awfullllllll until they get in the arena and (INSERT CATCHING FIRE PLOT WHERE THEY BUST TF OUTTA THERE...) and when marc wakes up, blinking and pale and groggy and without his prosthetic, vale is holding his hand by his bedside. and in a low, hoarse voice he starts to explain....

Total drama except Harold is outwardly a bitch instead of hiding his distain for others until they personally attack him or are just too damn annoying

Or, more interestingly, he pulls a rachel Berry and sucks up to Chris and/or chef for half the season so that he can get anybody he wants eliminated with some fake tears and a sob story painting them as some violent irredeemable monster (does it work? Meeeeeeh)

Did we watch the same Total Drama? Harold is outwardly a hater.

He's not exactly quiet about his dislike for certain people, and he's very open about his opinions on near-enough everything. Harold literally gets the whole cast thrown out of a jet at one point because he won't shut up and stop being a little bitch - it's an integral part of his character, and an even more crucial aspect of his autistic charm and loserboy swag.

Him pulling a Rachel Berry, however, is a very different interpretation of him. Both as a character in his own right, and the archetypes he plays into.

(I did have to google who Rachel Berry is, as I haven't watched Glee - assuming this is the character you were referring to.)

Because he's supposed to be, in-universe, kind of an unlikable wet noodle. Having him endear himself to Chris, Chef and (assumedly) the audience at large so he can sway the competition in his favour would be A Task, and not an easy one at that.

Because he's (in-universe) not charismatic in the slightest, despite living under the impression that he is. Remember; Harold sees himself as a cool guy with a lot of cool talents - to the point that he quite often comes across as egotistical - whilst everyone around him sees him as a deluded dweeb. He's not quite self-aware enough to play into his dorky charm or tone down the more annoying aspects of his personality to be more generally likable, since he's entirely unaware (or just uncaring) about how he's percieved by others.

Harold is unapologetically himself. Oftentimes to his own detriment.

You'd have to completely scrap that part of his character, or at the very least change it considerably, to have him commit himself to sucking up to Chris and Chef. Because there's no way canon Harold would ever do that; not only would it be "an insult to someone of his multi-talented caliber" (or some other explaination along those lines that's equally as nerdy), but it'd also mean he'd be acknowledging that he needs to use underhanded tactics like flattery to give himself a fighting chance upper hand in the competition. Canon Harold is very self-assured, and likely wouldn't believe he'd need the advantage of favouritism to win.

Plus, even if he did decide to try this line of action, I can't really imagine it playing out much differently than Sierra's brief stint as Chris' favourite competitor; that is to say, it's end with him being seen as more of a nuisance than he is in canon. Harold has a chronic case of foot-in-mouth disease, and his frequent faux pas would do more to enrage Chris than any level of sucking up could possibly hope to fix. Just look at his first interaction with Leshawna. She was forgiving enough to see past his awkwardness. Chris wouldn't be.

Harold's annoyingness and awkwardness and weirdness is so constitutional to his character that I can't personally see him ever having enough social literacy to pull of a scheme like that.

Now, Beth on the other hand-

Berry was quick to claim a seat beside this total stranger. She was in a pinch, and she needed help, and her dance partner was not here yet. She didn't know anyone else going into this audition, but what she did know from past experience was that the other dancers were never friendly enough to help each other out.

"I know that you don't know me," Berry said, reaching for her bag, "But I'm in desperate need right now. This is the thing - I am horrible at putting on false lashes and my partner isn't here yet." She paused, meeting the stranger's eyes. "Partner as in dance partner. We have an audition next door, and he's usually on time, but right now he is failing me and I just need help putting on these falsies and everyone else in that room would rather cut a bitch than help each other out. So, will you help me? I'll pay you if you want, I swear."

She can't help it, it comes out of her before she can control herself. Yongjoo's panic attack is her fault, because she had been staring, but not at his scars. No, she had been staring at the thin, wispy cloud that lives around him. She knows that it means he's had a brush with death. Berry looks down, forces herself to exhale. "I - I know that you've died because I can see the evidence around you. You have this - this cloud around you, just like I do, just like a lot of other people I've seen. It means we've touched death somehow. That's - that's what I was staring at and I'm sorry."

her response doesn't make things any better. whether she had a reason to stare or not, something about it set him on edge, and there's no escaping that. he's still in the midst of his panic attack, though, and so he offers nothing in response. her being here has undone a little of the progress he'd made. has set his heart rate rocketing again and seen sweat beading on his forehead once more. it's fine, he tells himself. let it happen, don't fight it. breathe. it takes another ten minutes for him to be ready to talk, though he feels absolutely exhausted. hopefully whatever berry needs to say is short, so he can come up with his exit strategy and pass out in rowoon's bed. ❝ sorry. people staring at me makes me feel weird sometimes. ❞
