We talk a lot about the symbolism of this last kiss being in front of the window she always used to look out of in hopes of finding him across the square, basked in sunlight as opposed to their moonlight first kiss, but ain’t no one talking about them matching outfits. Colin’s literally wearing a floral print shirt (? Idk if it’s a shirt but you get the jist). All throughout the show we’ve seen penelope in either yellow, floral print or yellow with floral print/ accents dresses and even in season 3 when she changed up her style we see some floral accessories/ accents on her new outfit’s. Colin was usually just in the iconic bridgerton blue color but in this epilogue, where they’re at their best together, a happy, employed married couple who now have a title because they’re the heir’s parents, they’re literally dressing the same and i think it’s a beautiful symbolism .

Kara emerged from a warm, lazy slumber to see her husband’s inquisitive face, upside-down from where he was standing over her. “Um. Sunbathing?”

“I thought one usually did that outside. And not on the floor? I almost mistook you for the cat.”

Kara wrinkled her nose, slightly offended, as she stretched from her very comfortable position sprawled on their living room floor in a nice warm patch of sunlight. “We have to be at that Legion meeting in an hour and I was tired, so I thought a nap and some sun might help matters, okay?”

“You know we have a couch? It’s about six inches to your right.” Mon-El crouched at her side, the slight grin on his face letting her know he was only teasing.

Still, she huffed. “The couch is too soft. I like the floor better.”

“Well, I hope that doesn’t nullify my offer.” At her raised brow, he sat down crossed-legged and nudged at her shoulder. “Sit up for a second.”

Kara obeyed, settling back with her head comfortably resting in his lap. She sighed happily as he began to run his fingers through her hair.

“Is this too soft for you?” he asked playfully.

“Mmm, no,” she mumbled, already sinking back into that blissful, sunny dreamland. “It’s perfect.”
