Rufus/Reno Headcanons

Their relationship started during Rufus’s house arrest during one of Reno’s shifts. One thing led to another and they wound up in bed together.

The one time thing became a regular thing during each one of Reno’s shifts.

They agreed that there would be no strings attached and that when the house arrest ended, the arrangement ended.

Neither of them liked the idea of it ever ending, but didn’t admit it.

When President Shinra died and Rufus inherited the empire, he claims he has no time to date or pursue other partners. With Reno knowing what he likes, he suggests they continue. Reno agrees, saying that he works too much to go out.

Rufus clearly shows Reno favoritism. He’s the only employee whose birthday he remembers. He lets him break dress code. Reno can sleep on the job. No one says anything about it.

Rude didn’t believe Reno the first time he bragged about doing the boss. He went as far as laughing in his face. He didn’t believe him until he found a pair of underwear too fancy for Reno in the dryer.

Reno introduces Rufus to several things he was curious about but was never able to do, like jumping on the bed, shooting dice, cheap pizza, reality TV, and gambling at Wall Market.

Dark Nation doesn’t mind that her daddy gives Reno attention. Darkstar gets jealous.

Their shared time together has some affect on their taste in music. Rufus grows to appreciate the thrash metal and punk music that Reno loves. Not surprisingly, some downtempo and EDM makes its way into Reno’s library.

Reno can be very jealous over Rufus. A tabloid can set him off. Rufus, however, is confident in every way possible. He deflects and declines with ease and trusts that Reno does the same.

Having no heirs, Rufus names Reno his sole beneficiary.

After Rufus returns from Kilminster’s cave, Reno fusses over every little thing. He practically panics whenever Rufus so much as sneezes. He volunteers to change his bandages and doesn’t want anyone else to care for him.

Reno always complains that Rufus wears too many clothes

The madmen. I hoped they could make a way we didn’t kill Dark Nation and they did it. My ultimate wish. idk what they wanted with the new name but i ain’t calling that good dog Dark Star as if both Dark Helmet and Lone Star won a raffle. Rufus doesn’t look or sound bad either! I mean, the jacket is ridiculous but i’m sure he paid a lot of money to make it look that perfectly tattered. It’s like a pompom around his legs. Boy is celebrating.

If only the boy could be with real!Reno i could also celebrate and not recoil picturing the fake!Reno’s face, voice and GMod animations.

"Yes," Rufus said, impatient now. "It's her I want." Madame Abeille raised an eyebrow at Nancy, who nodded, and took Rufus' hand without a word. He followed her out of the parlour, up two flights of stairs and along a narrow hallway, trying to ignore the soft sighs and moans he could hear coming from behind not quite closed doors. The entrance to Nancy's room was as highly decorated as the parlour and the corridors were: a reddish gauzy curtain was partially drawn across the entrance, and the wooden door was painted a bronze colour that was supposed to pass as gilding. Inside, however, the room was simple and sparsely furnished: an old four-poster bed with no curtains, a washstand upon which stood a bowl and ewer in a greenish glaze, a small table, a green rug. The only light in the room came from the moonlight filtering through the four panes of the narrow window. A candle in a brass holder stood upon the table, but it was unlit. Rufus took out his matches and bent to light the candle. Then he straightened, and held out a hand to Nancy, who took it without a word. He drew her into the flickering candlelight and said, "You are beautiful." Nancy smiled at him, and murmured, "Thank you, Sir," her voice soft and low. "May I touch your hair?" Nancy laughed briefly. "Yes, Sir – what you will." "I… hardly know. This is the first time…" Nancy froze, her expression changing in an instant. "You're not serious!" she exclaimed, her voice suddenly different – suddenly harsh. Rufus nodded. "Is there a difficulty?" Nancy cocked her head on one side, frowning, one hand on her hip in a most unladylike gesture. "I should damn well think so! You do know what I am, don'tcha?" Rufus suddenly realised – or allowed himself to realise what he'd subconsciously recognised from the start. Shame and fury burned in him. "You're a boy."

Rufus's father is wealthy, powerful, and convinced taking his son to visit a brothel is the sort of birthday gift every young man needs. Rufus wanted nothing to do with the whole affair until a certain "girl" caught his eye. Falling in love with someone of that profession is scandalous enough, but to love another man is unthinkable!

Reno/Rufus NSFW Headcanons

I don't know what compelled me to write these out but here they are in all their sinful glory exactly how my Rufus is with Reno, specifically as written by my spouse, @moxiae

Because Rufus is in control all the time, he prefers a more submissive role.
