the email is asking him if he's seen anything from the dangeresque fandom, and what he thinks of it. he's like "there's a dangeresque fandom??" and immediately looks it up for his ego i mean his ego i mean research

he starts looking at fanart, but checks himself out a weird amount so he goes to the fanfic! there is a ship war between day 1 dangeresque/renaldo shippers and dangeresque/dangeresque too shippers .

he's intrigued by this, looks through some fic. starts reading one out loud. the grammar and spelling are terrible. dangeresque and renaldo get out of character and go back to being strong bad and coach z and the shipping does not stop. strong bad doesn't either bc he wants to know what the author thinks their lives are like. everything is unfathomably wrong

his fun ends when, in the fic, they start (gasp) making out, and he dramatically closes the laptop. after a beat, he wonders how the hell one makes out with the notably mouthless coach z, before noticing typing sounds.

It's a controversial pick for a controversial guy, okay so the song might be kinda twisted but if you've seen Homestar Runner (which I know you have) then you'll understand that compared to everyone else besides Bubs he's definitely the most old in the group and you know how he is around Marzi (not much younger but still)

Well I like to think about the Dangeresque married couple because Renaldo has definitely made Dr R. a much kinder individual then he originally was

This is one of those cases where Kira is going to have a hard time not because the person in question is hyper-competent- even though he is- or the world is so absurd that Kira will seem less like an omnipotent force. No, no.

It's because the Death Note can't account for the existence of Dangeresque, Too.

Here's how it'll go down; Renaldo, who is still one week from retirement, will call Dangeresque on his car phone about some new killer Da Chief wants taken in. Dangeresque, being a corrupt cop/celebrity pharmacist, will want to pursue Kira to sate his ego and also boost his already incredibly prolific fame.

Putting aside the aforementioned Dangeresque, Too, Dangeresque himself is a paradoxical character. Simultaneously a world reknowned hero but also only ever working in shady settings like backalleys and abandoned lots with a shitty office that doesn't befit his status.

Through a series of convoluted connections and extreme stunts that he DEFINITELY DID, Dangeresque will eventually find out the identity of Kira.

At this point, Kira is going to get pulled into the nonsense of the Dangeresque universe. Suddenly his 'genius' is a warped, cartoonish exaggeration of whatever intelligence he has as filtered through the lens of roughly 3 decades of action films, and during this confrontation, it is highly likely that the precariously high location that the dramatic encounter is taking place will explode, or something.

At which point Kira will be defeated in a fight, and Dangeresque will be faced with only one choice: he's going to have to jump.

Once again, he survives a stunt he definitely did, and all's well that ends well....except he never really arrested Kira so now he has to escape his office to get away from Da Chief.

If I had to sum up why Dangeresque could escape Kira, it's the power of stunt doubles. Any time something potentially lethal is supposed to happen to Strong Bad, Strong Sad is poorly cut in wearing a sad excuse for a Strong Bad As Dangeresque costume, and then takes it. He's had his neck broken by an anvil before, he'll be alright.

tl;dr Kira is trapped in a dumb animal cartoon's loving recreation of every action movie cliche ever and will become incredibly susceptible to said cliches. Dangeresque wins.
