okay first let’s talk about human marshall lee.

what do we know about him from eps 1-8 Adventure Time: Fiona & Cake?

mother only accepts him if he fits into a certain mold

plays guitar (popular sirius hc)

“bad boy” who secretly grew up rich

obviously, most of what we know about younger sirius is based off of headcanons but marshall seems like such a sirius variant.

now onto to gary prince-

sweaters, jackets and scarves dressed very cozily

very dedicated to his work (like remus with academic validation)

ambitious

over-thinker to the max

often lost in his own little world

fantasy as escapism

creates in depth stories and lore (writer remus is a widely accepted hc)

introverted but still stands up for his beliefs

he is so AU remus

now moving onto their dynamic together- so many scenes between them could easily be applicable to wolfstar.

there were so many scenes that just made me feel like i was reading a wolfstar fanfic. the way marshall listens to gary and tries to help him achieve his dreams, even though he doesn’t have many concrete ambitions of his own, and the way gary protects and comforts marshall lee screams wolfstar. additionally, the archetypes marshall and gary fall into are very similar to the archetypes that sirius and remus fall into, which consequently creates a similar relationship dynamic.

tldr: marshall lee and gary prince are a wolfstar variant because they’re literally AUs of each other.

I rewatched Stranger Things recently and sorry but Robin is not a Remus Lupin variant. She is goofy, speaks a lot, is naturally funny, makes friends easily, more of an extrovert. For me she is more of a Marlene McKinnon variant. Remus is more of a Will or a Max.

sirius black: recklessness. in regards to himself, sirius is careless, driven by his intrinsic desire to be free, to live the way he wants to. he chases temporary pleasures and says things that, if well thought-out out, he might not have said, words poisoned with cruelty - after all, is he not a fragment of his family, of his own nemesis?

james potter: naivety. a blind trust in those he loves, the idea that they love him and care for him as much as he does for him. he would have regarded it as the height of dishonor to mistrust his friends, to not let them prove what they can be, to show him who they are. he listens and follows if they ask to lead; is it the right choice?

remus lupin: fear. paralysing him, his own mind is his worst enemy. he pushes people away, fearing that those he loves will not love him as he is, not when he is who is. fearing that he will not be enough, that he’s so easily discardable, that he’s nothing but the thing he has sworn to hide, to rid himself of, although impossible; is he terrifying?

peter pettigrew: jealousy. the need to prove that he’s more than what the eye sees, the thirst to be more than just a sidekick, more than just “a friend”, “a son”; the desire to be someone, a name in the books, not just someone written in the corner. a voice heard, a person seen. the need to be; would he ever make a name of himself?

my school has a wolfstar variant couple in the senior grade and thank GOD for that because the queer representation at our school is really lacking but they are SO CUTE

the remus variant is semi tall and brunette and i’ve never ever seen him talk to really anyone

and the sirius variant is on the school spirit committee and is semi short with longish black hair and i’ve never seen him in anything other than shorts regardless of the weather

I have this Doors live record that I really love and one of the tracks is Close to you performed by Ray Manzarek instead of Jim Morrison. Jim introduces this event in his charming drawl, saying "I don't know if you realize but you're in for a special treat tonight! This only happens during a full moon night. The last time it happened grown men were weeping, police officers were turning their badge in," etc etc and it's absolutely hilarious and I adore it.

Anyway all this to say in a band AU Sirius would 100% be Jim Morrison and Remus would be his Ray.

idk who needs to hear this but the main couple in Green Apple Paradise is jegulus coded while the side couple is wolfstar coded

it was the appearance of the side couple that started the like of thought. Then I was like "Sirius would do this..." "Remus would act like this" and I concluded, they are wolfstar. Then I realized it also applied to the main couple. They are Jegulus.

I can't draw the similarities without spoiling the plot so just... go read pls, it's fluffy, comedy, no angst. Mostly. Happy ending. Completed. Side chapters are out!
