I won't lie but being on Genshin Twt is really tiring.
Mostly because you have lurkers on every popular hoyoverse boycott account dating the "boycott has fail" or posting pictured about how "Hoyoverse made billions of dollars off of ZZZ"
@HilichurlDaily and @HYVBoycott are always the go to people to have enormous blocklist of racist fans
But if those idiots have a brain then they should know Genshin is losing profits
https://www.reddit.com/r/WutheringWaves/s/IXI2eg3e3S
This is the monthly revenue from every popular gacha game. While ZZZ has made about a billion dollars Genshin has LOST NEARLY HALF of its profits since June.
Same thing with HSR they went from almost 1 billion in June to less a 1/3 when July came.
Now before anyone comes here and say "well because everyone is so focus on ZZZ that of course no one is going to play Genshin and HSR" I would like to remind everyone Genshin main problem is that Hoyoverse is not creating anything NEW Game Modes other than events to grind primogems. Many Player have expressed their lack of new gameplay, having better End game content or trying to have more ways to be F2P because with every new region you are less likely to find primogems.
It's also doesn't help Hoyoverse choose to have 3D animation in mutiple server games. That alone is expensive to maintain along with budgets and paying workers.
This is similar to what happen to Rooster Teeth while RWBY was popular the company made poor finicial decisions had to make cuts in order to maintain the show. However in the end of the day it was not considered profitable and could not keep up with the animation cost.
(Some lighter note I'm not surprise to see Love and Deepspace 2nd highest because everyone wanted Sylus 5 star card lol)
Genshin twt is a fucking nightmare I’ve been there since like 2021 and it’s always been awful. The saving grace is the scrumptious fanart that people make with their headcanons of characters, I have so much appreciation for them. Fuck those lurkers though, they’re so annoying.
YAYYYY GENSHIN LOSING PROFITS LETS GOOO
I’ve had issues with genshin for a while about their lack of any actual fulfilling content, and decent gameplay other than “go grind primos” cause that’s what the entire game feels like :P girl I’m saving fully f2p for Dottore atp, cause I gotta save A YEAR in advance to at least guarantee a single copy of a character and their weapon. So genshin has issues with that, and has forever- and it doesn’t change even with the shitty summer event plus just a single new character this patch too that the majority of the community doesn’t like.
I hope genshin’s sales stay that low and go lower gen natlan drops, istg if this shit turns out like sumeru I will explode- don’t be weak, don’t spend any money on hyv games, I get zzz because it dropped and people probably spent loads of money right off the bat, so I understand- but DO NOT SPEND ANY MORE. NO MORE. INCLUDING IN HONKAI STAR RAIL. FEIXIAO, YUNLI, MOZE, JIAOQIU, LINGSHA, AND ANY CHARACTERS AFTER THEM ARE NOT WORTH IT!! Keep their sales down, in ALL THEIR GAMES

First Impression of Reverse: 1999 from a Long Time Gacha Games Player
Tumblr media
Hello! Today I'll tell you my first impression about a new gacha game that just release it's global version not too long ago, "Reverse:1999". I preregistered this game and mind you, I actually had zero intention to add more gacha games into my sleeves especially the turn-based ones, but the art... The ART man!! It caught my attention soo let's dig in!
Before we start I'd like the readers (you) to know that I've been playing gacha games daily for a considered long time, since 2017 and still going on today. Although not a lot of them so here are some that I've played for over 3 months (pretty much understand the overall system):
Fate/Grand Order, Arknights, Genshin Impact, Honkai/Star Rail
Bold are my main daily games. And then here are some that I've tried, well at least I know their UI & prologue lol:
SAO MD (discontinued), Food Fantasy, Granblue Fantasy, Punishing/Gray Raven, Tower of Fantasy
I might bring up some titles to compare and most likely from between the "over 3 months" ones. Then, let's start!
What's the big deal of "gacha game" and why I play them?
I like to draw and gacha games have one of the best community for art clout. No this is serious, and one of my top reason of why I'm playing this borderline gambling type of game.
Gacha games are living from their banner rotation. The second ones are new characters and story reveal that updated regularly... Don't you think these are real good timings for posting?? They also got those art gods that somehow helped the promotion and attract the peasants (me included) to get to know the story and make fanarts too. I'm not kidding. This is why I've been here since I started digital art. Lol.
But every actions need consequences. Gacha games are very high maintenance to stay relevant, from the player's side. You missing one update, you'll feel like an old man. This is the most FOMO (fear of missing out) type of game. The main sacrifice is TIME. So many things need to tend in one game, and if you play multiple it means you have to spare some hours in a day. If you can't, get ready to lose something. Why I don't say money? Because I'm pretty much f2p, I never really spent my money for gacha. But time, time bro. Time also money! This is also why I write this post.
The Premise of Reverse: 1999
The early story kind of reminds me to Persona 3 where there are some special times (Dark Hours in P3) where an ordinary human can't survive and there are some special creatures than survived.
In R:1999 the special time is called "storm" which will turn back time further from your original time. For example, MC is from 1999 but she's sent to 1920s thanks to the storm. So they made a foundation or something to get back to the original time. Well in a sense this is kinda similar to FGO (Fate/Grand Order)'s Chaldea, maybe that's why I'm so driven to try this game lol. The name of those "special creatures" are arcanists.
Actually I don't really understand everything yet, but at least that's the glimpse I got. Also they tried to fix the history or something whenever they're getting sent back so, basically a fancier FGO right?? I have no problem though.
Setting
The game's mainly set in the west in 20th century. I think this is the main perks of the game, because the entire design and aesthetic revolves around this so it can differ greatly from most gacha games that either have fantasy RPG setting or urban post/apocalyptic ones. Personally I really like this.
The Main Character
The MC is such a breath of fresh air!! It's a woman, and people called her "Vertin". So no, not your typical self-insert anime degenerate persona like most gacha games. Here is a very beautiful EP of her:
youtube
The Characters
The characters are pretty unique imo, you can play as inanimate object (visually) like apple and satellites. The arcanists are the playable (and summonable) characters. So expect to see various 20th century-themed designs.
Also the designs are dope!! They're unlike most gacha games' characters designs where they wore something weird that will awaken your darkest corner of brain but here they're just dressed NORMALLY LIKE A NORMAL FANCY PERSON I'm so glad. Normal doesn't mean boring, this is a compliment. Even the "fanserviced" ones are still pretty tasteful than just put random windows everywhere.
Summoning
This game has a carry-over pity on 70th roll, soft pity started like in the 60th. They use the same gacha currency on both permanent and limited banners. There's 50/50 like in Mihoyo games. You need 180 clear drops (?) to turn them into one rabbit statue (?) for a summon. I think this one is very similar with Arknights. Personally in my opinion this is very generous and reasonable, but I'm a FGO player so yeah my "generous" standard may differ greatly with a lot of people lol.
Oh you also can get guaranteed *6 from beginner's summoning banner.
(Early) Gameplay & Progression
The gameplay is like FGO with extra steps. Or FGO with fewer steps... Anyway, it's a card game. Each character has cards you can choose per turn. Once the "stars" are filled you can unleash the ultimate. Honestly? A little boring lol, but things may change once I get out early-game phase. People said this is very similar to 7 Deadly Sins game but I never get close to the IP so idk.
You can set which enemy to hit per card unlike FGO where it's done per turn. Personally I think this is neat. Although among the games I've tried I think Honkai/Star Rail still superior for turn-based system since they can control the speed and whatsoever. However this kind of "fixed" system also nice since you don't need to farm artifacts/relics to be playable.
Tumblr media
The early stages are so easy. Well, most games have very easy early stages though, unless a certain popular furry tower defense game (*cough* Arknights *cough*).
For character progression pretty much just level up, no need for artifacts/relics like Mihoyo games so it's fast and easy.
You can set a "replay" for autofarming once you get 2 stars achievement on the node. You can also choose the "amount" of drop rate for just one battle. This is very neat!
Tumblr media
Dailies, Weeklies, etc
R:1999 has similar progression with Arknights and Mihoyo games with this one. The daily and weekly tasks literally like Arknight's.
Tumblr media
Tbh their dailies are quite a hassle lol, you need at least spend 5-15 minutes to clear all.
And their "battlepass", looks like Genshin's battlepass or HSR's Nameless Honor
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gotta admit between ALL the games I've played, nothing beats the simple daily of LOGIN in FGO (in exchange with disastrous gacha and tremendous farming🙏).
UI & Visual
Maybe I should've put this a little earlier lol.
The UI is AMAZING!! One of the best. Really (once again) reminds me of Arknights, since I like their UI too, and even better I think especially their retro aesthetic.
The visual is GORGEOUS. The game is presented in common gacha game storytelling method: visual novel, however they tried to incorporate like L2D animation in the STORY'S VISUAL.
The characters have different art styles, I think done by different artists like most gacha games (the only one who didn't do this are Mihoyo games, please explain). And the sprites are full body non-chibi 2d animations! This one's like FGO, although still like 10% chibified so in terms of sprite style, FGO still has the crown.
Music & other sounds
Music is BANGER!
I rate it 4.5/5. Maybe the 2nd music of gacha games that I like after Genshin. It doesn't sound like basic visual novel ost (looking at you FGO and HSR) in most part, tho since this is basically *still* visual novel, so in some part still sounds pretty stale after you heard it so many times.
The voice over is dope! They used various accents, so it's pretty interesting!
Housing/Dorm
The name of housing/dorm in R:1999 is "Wilderness", something like islands. This is once again reminds me to Arknight's "Base" but outdoor.
Tumblr media
End game
Honestly I haven't found the endgame content for this one, if you're looking for challenges maybe games like Arknights and HSR still better choice.
Conclusion
Based on every gacha games I've played, I can say progression, UI, and summoning from Reverse:1999 is similar to Arknights, but turn-based and A LOT easier at the start. If you've played Arknights before I think understanding the system will like walk in the park.
For the story it's somewhat like FGO, of course not the same, but still both are "correcting the history and go back to our time" kind of story.
The game doesn't ask much, so I think if you're a gacha game player and barely have any time for more games, this one's still enjoyable with very minimal investment. Suitable as your 2nd, 3rd, or even 5th gacha games. Especially when you're just want to vibe with the art and setting like me.
If you're new in gacha game, there's no problem with trying out this, but I think the game is made with thought that the target market are people that familiar with gacha games. Still, enjoy your time!
Tl;dr if you still want to play your main games daily while join the Reverse:1999 bandwagon, it's totally possible without sacrificing much of your time.

Definitely understandable i easily lose the energy to talk with people when i have to interact with family. So you're good. Ah yes the dont worry about it approach my favorite. Especially when what you do in regards to you is your business. Well between last message & now i forgot so thats a good indicator of how thats goin. Beaches over here are hit & miss but the closer ones to me arent as popular thankfully. Hm. What is a2 knowledge & how is it getting worse? I adore colder climates heat is not kind to me at all. Tents are. Well. Some are decently priced depending on how big of one you get. Oh i definitely recommend going with friends its a lot of fun. Ive been slacking a bit on the game but so far clara is workin for me. Probably wont have enough for kafka. Oooh good luck to you with all your pulls. Story spoilers aren't a major thing for me because the how is always still fun. Definitely understand some just dont want em at all. Every time i try minecraft im like. Never sure what i want to do. So kudos to you for stickin with the game & having fun. Smaller cities are nice love having close stuff without being in like. A big city. Ah dang i hope you find that dye again in the future. Makeup is hard it should be easier for those who wanna wear it. Ive been so busy i missed. So many events whoops. Problem of bein stuck level gaining to continue story. Motivation is hard to come by. I busy myself reading or looking up new science discoveries when i dont wanna leave my room.
thankies ahdhfjfj!!! and, once again, apologies for the late reply. my grandma fortunately left a while ago but i was feeling Cranky and didnt wanna sound Annoyed With Existing ahdjfh. still kinda dying inside since i return to school in 2 weeks but fuck it we ball we stay silly etc. COMING BACK. yeah like "nobodys gonna know-" "theyre gonna know." "how would they know". and understandable sjdkfgjk consider this your reminder then. and ahh fair i live pretty far away from the sea so i dont really know good Spots i guess. BUT i do like lake beaches since theyre way more quiet most of the time. and basically im not exactly sure in how many countries it applies, im thinking most of europe? but essentially language knowledge here is divided by levels, a1 -> a2 -> b1 -> b2 -> c1 -> c2 with c2 being the highest. and well i guess theres also a0 but thats just when you start. a2 is just speaking Basic English, so like enough to survive if you go to an english speaking country but not much more. for reference, by tests ive done, my level is like between b2 and c1 so very decent but i dont know most of the "fancier" and more specific words. and with it "getting worse" i mean that [at least from what our teacher told us] the textbooks are getting easier and easier so people are leaving school not actually knowing almost anything. yeah SAME its been so hot here recently so ive been Suffering. and yeah i know but me and my mother dont really know if its a good idea to buy one since we dont really go camping anyway. but maybe when im an adult im gonna get more into it, esp if i have ppl to do it with. and ah thats nice to hear!!! i DID manage to get kafka and her lightcone so ive been having fun with her recently. actually overpowered. tho i heard shes quite f2p friendly. and oh understandable!! i unfortunately used to be on tiktok where they spoil EVERYTHING and its impossible to avoid so ever since then ive been extra careful. tho i kinda feel that way ab fontaine rn [cos i ended up actually being kinda interested] since i cant download it rn but still am excited 4 the story despite knowing little unconnected bits. and fair, minecraft def isnt for everyone but its very good for chilling out at least to me. rn im procrastinating on beating the ender dragon so im just maxxing out my gear rn. and yeah but im still gonna see whether or not i wanna live a long way from my family. oh well i still have time. also thanks!!! i have not been successful yet but i bought another dye so im gonna keep you updated on that. and ahhhh understandable, ive been Grinding so i didnt have that problem sjfkg i should build my sampo but. ah. i hate grinding artifacts. pretty excited for the 1.3 simulated universe update tho!!! esp since im really curious about the aeons so seeing more of the propagation is sth im looking forward to. but good luck!!! and VERY real i like doing wikipedia deep dives esp about marine animals. im a fishpilled oceancel but i unfortunately suffer from Not Remembering Anything Ive Read Ever.

*Tried to reblog elaborating on my thoughts but it didn't show up- Fucking Tumblr 😒*
And see that's my perspective. They say not to compare the two games because the story and characters aren't similar but at the same time they're comparable; You're a descendant of someone super important, you're interacting with 7 Lords of Hell, you're potentially "dating" these Lords of Hell and people like you because of your ancestor- The similarities are there but I think people need to focus more on the fact of WHB shaking things up for Obey Me more than they'd like to say.
Like I said I could be wrong but I'm someone who was in the Obey Me circles, heard of WHB in its early days and left because Obey Me was complacent and downright irritating. I do believe WHB capitalized on Obey Me's stagnation when they released and the gamble paid off- People left Obey Me to play WHB. But now they bit off more than they could chew, got ambitious, and are floundering because of it because now they gotta meet a lot more expectations or try to "keep up" with Obey Me's more organized structure.
And I feel like Obey Me took notice of this because that's why they're releasing slightly spicier content and bombarding everyone with ads. It's to wrangle people back and remind them of Obey Me instead of going to What in Hell is Bad. But now WHB's in a bit of a bind; They gotta either get back to what they were doing originally and hope for the best people stay or keep updating and throwing shit out in order to compete and in hopes people still are invested/interested. Which ironically will chase off players if they choose the latter.
Either way it's gonna be a rough time and frankly I hope they don't go down Obey Me's route. That route is a road abandoned by f2p players and how you end up staggering like Nightbringer is.
(Wasn't sure if I should post this but I had a lot of thoughts and I wanted to see what other people think of this)
Tumblr media
I'm late as fuck to the whole PB legal thing but being one of the early blogs that wrote whb content AND also (kinda) being part of the obey me fandom, if prettybusy ends up being greedy and too stingy towards f2players in the future, I suggest to just abandon the source material altogether.
Fandoms can and have done it before.
Take Obey Me for example. I was one of players that's been with it ever since release, much like whb, and was very loyal to the game. However, I'm also a strictly f2p player because of financial reasons. But as the company moved more and more towards exclusive paid content, as well as lower rates to obtain event cards, I eventually dropped the game and only consumed fan content, which is something I also saw a lot of other f2players do. One of the reasons I liked Obey Me so much was because most of the content can be obtainable without paying, albeit that it required a little more effort.
That's how these games should be. Payment should be a shortcut, not the only way to obtain content. There's a line between logging in daily and doing an extra 15 minute grind for event tokens, and having nearly impossible odds stacked against you in a random gacha eating away at your event tokens and the event cards isn't even within your reach.
Yes, a lot of fans still play and enjoy playing Obey Me, hence being profit for Shall We Date. But there's also a way to enjoy the character without interacting with the game at all.
I was already cautious of PB when they paywalled the angel SSRs, especially with the extreme price they had. But with this official statement, I'd get my fic download folders ready.

You asked for it :> So may I request the rest of BSD playing Genshin? 😘🥰
Darling, since I can't write that many characters in one go, I thought I should give you something special. I present... 💫 women 💫
Women of BSD as Genshin Impact players
tw: you're in bsd fandom, you know all the tw there are by now
Kyouka Izumi- Assasin in the streets, babysitter in the... Genshin Impact
Kyouka is that cute, stubborn kid that overfixates on things. Atsushi is things. Look, we all know Kyo-chan is mad intelligent and talented and it shows in her game play. Right off the bat she got the sense of the gameplay of every type of character and decided what works best for her. She knows what type of team she's going for and knows how to manage her materials wisely.
When she plays alone, Kyouka works towards bettering her characters and pushing through the storyline. Her favourite way to play the game is with Atsushi, whether alone or in co-op with others. Playing with Jinko is a huge win-win situation for her - she helps him beat up whatever he needs to take down and complete puzzles, he gives her praises and gratitude. And materials, but seldom does she take them.
Her main job, though, is to protect Atsushi and his world from the otherworldly evil known as the suicidal maniac, Dazai Osamu. She's fairly successful.
Main Team: MC, Klee, Keqing, Rosaria
Sub Team: MC, Qiqi, Fischl, Hu Tao
Mains MC, both for her flexibility with elements and because she likes being the little sister to Atsushi's male MC.
Yosano Akiko- retired nurse, now a terrorist
Did you really think she'd stay a healer without having the sadistic satisfaction of hurting people in grotesque ways? Nay. She doesn't have a single healer on team. She either has a teammate who's a healer like Haruno, or she wastes abundance of food until she can teleport to a statue of the seven.
Her game play is on crack, basically. She has several energy spurs, sometimes several times a day, where she rages through the game, before losing interest and going shopping. It's very possible with her that days can pass before she feels like playing again. Then she binges the game for hours and repeat.
When i say she acts like on crack i mean it. She has rage in her veins instead of blood. She tanks her characters and goes out looking for fights with worst possible opponents. Hell, she'll under equip her party just to see how many mofos can she take down in weak state. Spoilers, a fair few. She does die quite a bit, and is almost always out of food, but she's just as stubborn as she's crazy. Those two thing correlate probably. Which is why she made Azdaha her bitch. Her party consists either of strong, hot milfs women like herself, or twinks. You won't see someone like Childe disrespecting her vibe.
Main Team: Beido, Venti, Hu Tao, Rozaria
Sub Team: Lisa, Yanfei, Ningguang, Xingqiu
Beido and Lisa main. Bad bitches only.
Naomi Tanizaki- the fangirl player
She basically collects the cutest characters possible.. That's how she chooses her characters, based on cuteness. She went for the hot ones first to pull her brother but she got jealous and changed her tactic. You know she's spending her money on character skins and certain banners. She's insanely lucky tho?? She got Qiqi on the standard banner as her first 5*, pulled Klee on her banner in little over four 10 pulles and got Diona eventually anyway. Baraba and Xiangling were free and she mained Xiangling untill Klee rolled in. She spent some money on Venti and was already in pity when Ganyu came around. She's fully ready to whale for Kokomi though.
Now i know i said she's incredibly lucky, right? Yeahh that luck has to turn against something to keep the balance and well... she's still crying over Chongyun.
She usually co-ops with her brother, it's a daily ritual. Loves co oping with everyone though, mostly Haruno, Atsushi and Kyouka. She made online friends as well. Actually, there is one person she co ops with almost as much as she does with her brother. IchiGawa is her Genshin bestie and they talk about their crushes and infatuations besides the game itself. Her friend is the only secret she keeps from her brother.
Main Team: Klee, Diona, Venti, Barbara
Sub Team: Razor, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Qiqi
A Klee main.
Haruno Kirako- the healer
Literal angel. You need her, i need her, ADA needs her, the president needs her, just... yes. Her whole team consists of support- healers and crowd control characters. She was a f2p at first, but realised she earns her own money and can spend it however she wishes and she chose the monthly cards.
She's a necessity, point blank. She can get intimidated by new foe at first, but when backed up by her friends, she becomes determined and flexible. Pays good attention to her teammates, most importantly, their health bars, and acts accordingly.
The only reason most of them made it as far as they have, being as reckless as they are.
Main Team: Albedo, Barbara, Jean, Venti
Sub Team: Qiqi, Noel, Jean, Xinyan
Mains Albedo and Barbara
Fan fact: She's very fascinated infatuated with Albedo!! He's even her home screen and has posters and key chain of him.
Gin Akutagawa- that cottagecore assassin
You may be wondering what that could even mean. Let me tell you, she brought Animal Crossing to Genshin Impact. Sure she takes care of her characters and they're pretty powerful, but she kicks ass in real life as well. The game is her little getaway, especially since Serenity pot has been introduced. She's been making away her home for her and her brother characters. You can see her chop wood, collect materials, taking pictures with her friends and her brother, sometimes of pretty scenery and cute moments. A very wholesome player.
She's the type to help her friends explore their world and help them find oculi, open chests, shrines, collect flowers, mine... She's very patient, but if she sees her co-op teammates struggle with something, she'll jump in to help do it herself untill told to back off. In which case she will listen and silently give her support, usually with the cheering stickers in the chat.
She's f2p! Sure, she could get the monthly card at least, as Ryunosuke told her, but she really wants to enjoy the game on her own terms and have what she does through her own effort and hard work. It just feels satisfying to her and more personal.
Main Team: Jean, Ayaka, Diluc, Barbara
Sub Team: Doesn't have one! She just changes characters if certain elements are needed.
Jean main!! She admirers the relationship her and Barbara have. While she's the younger of the two, she's taken the mantle of the older sibling, in a way, and is looking after her reckless as heck brother and cares for him like Jean does for Barbara. Jean is also a wonderful person in her eyes and Gin harbours great respect for the blonde.
Higuchi Ichiyo- IchiGawa 🤡
I love Higuchi so much, but my girl is a mess and a half. Help her, please. No, really, she needs help. She's been over compensating for not being dramatic and eye catching in the battlefield, and has now found a new way to prove herself to her Akutagawa-san. Problem is, as soon as she sees a potentially powerful character, she has to get them and boost them to the havens... yeahh, good thing you can't do loans in the game, otherwise she'd have sharks on her ass for having a bill as dramatic and eye catching as Tsunade's from Naruto. Our girl out there turning heads for wrong reasons. She's definitely spent her pay checks on the game "oh no no, i just buy the monthly subscription, ehe" ehe my ass, you bankrupt bitch. Baal is coming and she's looking to sell a kidney. No, it's not her own and no, it doesn't have anything to do with the game. It's a mission, for God's sake.
But hey, the game is a good investment for her! She even made a friend, one that totally understands her how she feels!! They're very alike as well, ready to do anything for the person they love. The two talk about love a lot and have bonded over it. Higuchi is actually a jealous and a protective type of person, so she hides her friend from Gin and Tachihara like snake hides it's legs. If only they knew 🤡. But it's better this way as they both have a certain sense of normalcy and familiarity they were missing in their daily lives. (Higuchi and Naomi meeting scenario when?)
Main Team: Xiao, Fischl, Xingqiu, Diluc
Sub Team: Baal (soon?), Venti, Ganyu, Zhongli
She mains Xiao because he reminds her of Akutagawa-san and yes, she uses characters from her sub team when playing with others.
Fan Fact: when she was asked why her username is IchiGawa, she said she's like a river 🤡 No, it does absolutely not stand for Ichiyo Akutagawa.
Ozaki Kouyo- the husbando and loli collector
Don't get the wrong idea when i said loli collector. She just needs to adopt them and look after them. She also enjoys watching her precious babies kick ass like her Kyouka. But that's a two way sword, because she gets angry when they die. Savage.
And yeahh, the real reason she's playing the game... Mr Zhongli. She switches often between eng and jpn audios because she can't decide which sounds sexier. Also, Mr Diluc? Yes, she would like to be served one sex on the beach please and thank you! Ah, Mr Kaeya, a perfect window of opportunity, yes.
She has a huge spot for the teenager group as well. Razor, Bennett, Fishl, Xiangling, Xingqiu and Chongyun are also her kids. She just finds them very precious (don't we all?).
Main Team: Zhongli, Kaeya, Bennett, Diluc
Sub Team: Diona, Klee, Qiqi, Sayu
A Zhongli and Diluc main.
Bonus:
Elise- the evil lackadaisical player
Mori found out about the game from Higuchi and Tachihara and introduced it to Elise, telling her she should make a team of sweet little girls like herself and have fun going on adventures around Teyvat. In response, Elise made a team that, not only does it not have a single child in it, but is using it to gaslight and bully Rintarou.
"Why aren't you smart and inventive like Albedo?"
"Why aren't you as passionate and persistent as Sucrose?"
"Look how capable, loved and admired Ningguang is. You could never."
"I wish i had someone as strong, caring, handsome and rich like Childe looking after me. He would treat me like a real princess. "
Mori has been crying rivers ever since.
Thing is, Elise isn't even that interest in the story. Actually, she couldn't care less. Some characters are interesting to her and she likes the graphics, but other than that, she's mostly playing the game to torture the greasy doctor (as she should).
Main Team: Albedo, Sucrose, Ningguang, Childe
Sub Team: doesn't have one
Doesn't have a main either, she plays whoever she feels like playing.
I wanted to add Lucy too, but my mind wasn't cooperating ;-; Sorry about that. I do hope you liked this, Eli 💛

dearest you might have use that 'me and sunflower anon being simps' tag more often for now on, now that ive found people who share my tastes my bottled up simp energy is gonna have to pour out 💖 HSHHAHAAHASH tho my savings for said characters r very limited,,, *cries in f2p*
but that brings me to my next point, of how i have amazing wishing luck but also bad at the same time. I also started playing the game around Zhonglis banner!! And my friends were the ones who persuaded me to do one ten wish when i was at like ar 20 or smthn,,,, and guess who got Chongyun, Albedo, and Fischl all at once. BUT AT THE TIME I DIDNT REALLY PAY ATTENTION THAT MUCH TO THEM- I ADDED CHONGYUN AND ALBEDO TO MY TEAM BC BOWS ARENT MY STRENGTH BUT I ONLY REALIZED HOW MESSED UP THE RNG WAS AFTER HAVING THEM FOR TOO LONG. of which afterwards i tried my luck on Xiao because,,, lets say i have a type for pretti anemo people and after pulling till soft pity i got keqing :( i benched her for a week because im petty like that but now shes a very reliable sub dps on my team and i love her with my whole heart SHJSHHJSJH
And Venti, my kin and comfort character came home after forty pulls when i had almost 6k primogems at bay but razor, the character ive been interested in since before i even started or knew his name is the game is the single four star character ive yet to pull. not to mention xingqiu only coming home after like thirty pulls on the ganyu banner but one ten pull on the standard banner
on a different note, I saw your response to 🐌 anon's ask earlier and my love hate relationship with glaze lilies comes from how i refuse to get them because im constantly reminded of Guizhong and thats just 😔✋
honestly i could go on but my ice cream is waiting for me to eat it, but you saying long asks dont mind you is very reassuring, sweetheart :( Signing off again with love, 🌻 anon
“dearest” 💕💖💘💞💝💗💓
i might actually end up asking for your hand in marriage, my love. that made my heart skip a beat AHAGSHA,, pLUS THE FACT THAT YOU MAIN AND KIN VENTI 💍 take it, it’s yours.
PLEASE YOU GOT 3/4 OF A TEAM IN ONE ROLL??? I ENVY YOUR LUCK. the pettiness of benching keqing <//3 unfortunately that’s how i felt with jean for a bit, i’ve lost the 50/50 to her several times now. jean supremacy though 😔🙏
razor was actually my first four star from an event banner! i was enamored with him from the start as well and he’s stayed with me ever since. YKNOW WHO I DONT FUCKIN HAVE THOUGH? XINGQIU. XINGQIU PLEASE COME HOME I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU FOR YEARS 😖
you’ve just reminded me of guizhong with the glaze lilies,,, zhongli angst. i can’t take it pls.
long asks will never bother me. this is your home, you should feel comfy here! i hope your ice cream’s good, don’t get brainfreeze dear <33

hey i was that fate anime anon! thanks for the response!! now i can finally go back and finish. and don’t worry, i don’t think i planned on playing fgo... from what i saw idk it looked kinda complicated? i don’t think i’d understand it. that and i don’t like gachas all that much bc they’re predatory. the only one i play is fire emblem heroes. i’ve played since it came out and im VERY casual with it i don’t understand builds at all lol i just try to collect pretty anime boys when i can lmao (without spending money of course) genshin looks appealing sometimes but im a bit hesitant to get into it lol the way you were talking about it in earlier asks made me hella confused 😭 but you seem to know a lot so that’s cool!! that zhongli fella is handsome tho that might be enough to convince me djfjdjgdk
honestly, stay casual with gacha. dont ever let it give you Fear of Missing Out.. remember that capping on stamina is okay. and you also dont need to "pay to win" in these types of single player games. it's not a competition and it certainly will add no value to your future. it's just a game and something you do as a hobby, so remind yourself that.
genshin impact is a fun game, but you need to have a mature mindset. dont whale and dont spend more than you can handle. also zhongli is handsome but he is a limited character who is rollable recently (since this is his rerun banner). you can give it a try and see if you can roll him before his banner ends, but dont expect it since the chance is very low. i do have to admit Genshin Impact is not very f2p friendly considering the direction of how they are designing endgame content Spiral Abyss. the recent one cannot be full-star cleared by starter characters and needs some luck and 4 star characters.
so yeaa proceed with caution!!

My current main gacha rotation is as follows: fgo, bandori, priconne, and proseka. Though more heavily priconne bc it’s basically the sole autobattler i play, and proseka bc im just now leveling up and min-maxing. Who knows how it will continue to evolve
Now, to pour some out for our fallen: [longpost i.e. me yelling at a wall about nothing in particular, for my own posterity]
(these are all games i’ve played for a considerable amount of time, or at least enough to know that it’s not for me)
love live sif: super retired from this one, not only is the ui relatively aged but i’m done with this game’s gacha system. Plus im not super passionate about the new generations past sunshine. i really loved and have a lot of fond memories of playing it, and at least i finished u’s story ig
pocket camp: yo i am all but retired here. as nice and sweet of a game it is to look at and keep on my radar, their monetization model and delegating most of the best items to spur you to buy a lot of in-game currency is not to my taste, and it took me like three years of almost consistent play to come to this conclusion. The amount of free currency you earn is not nearly enough to viably pull/buy for things you want. At least it has a low storage requirement and is around if i just want to run around for a bit
feh: i forget when i truly dropped off but i think it was because i got tired of running stages to get my characters to a good level and fell behind in the story. the gameplay loop just didn’t do it for me
dragalia lost: i’d really cite this as The One that i really was excited for, especially bc it was releasing at a time when i was already pretty familiar with gacha. again i didn’t click with the gameplay, the auto battle wasn’t a viable method for me starting out especially with f2p ok units, and i’d be damned if i said that the game would not give me a 5* rare no matter how much i begged. i never did get one naturally before i came back briefly for a 5* guaranteed, and that’s when i knew i’d been cursed lol
granblue fantasy: i really wanted to like this one since the character designs are great and varied, and the collabs are super nice, but i think the gameplay again was just not doing it for me. i dropped off the story but keep it on my phone because why tf not, it’s literally a browser game. i do remember i played gbf while staying in akiba and my internet speeds were lightning fast compared to when i play in america, so that was cool. i still go in to pull during free pulls (if i remember my login info)
genshin: man o man. again the character designs are the best part but this game has the double whammy of not having a super satisfying game loop and having a story that’s all over the place. i mostly got pissed that free gacha currency was sparse and progressing through the game was near impossible if you save currency like i do, unless you whaled for the proper units. i might still return if it releases on switch given how much i’ve begged for it, but honestly i’d be ok if i didn’t. also cmon, the storage requirement was HUGE and every update requires you to have double its requirement or smth... man
dreamy vocal: this one’s a weird one but i’m pretty sure i played enough of it to know that it’s like every weird a*s tencent game you’ve ever seen and it gives me pain, miku or no miku. i’m just eternally grateful we were given proseka by the lovely geniuses at craft egg instead
mario kart tour: man what da hell. how is this actually not as satisfying as console MK. i can’t even form a well-rounded opinion on it, it just strikes me as weird
bsd tales of the lost: no particular reason here. the story was the same as the anime so it kept reminding me that i hadn’t finished the anime i guess lol. the gameplay was engaging enough but i grew tired of it at some point or hit a wall when my progression started really getting held back by my units or just level requirements. rolled some pretty nice units tho
magia record: i feel really awful about the fate of the EN server but similarly the gameplay just felt so weird. like fate but not? and now especially since the EN server died and the main reason i’d want to play is to read the story... this is pretty much a dead end :( i can appreciate from afar i suppose
revue starlight: wrowww also thought this might be The One because i really liked the starlight anime. but i was honestly a little disillusioned once it was established strictly as a battler game than one with some rhythm elements? mayb i wasn’t versed enough in autobattlers at the time but again the gameplay failed to capture my attention, and it seemed to be exploiting the openendedness of the anime’s ending to just retcon the stage girls’ suffering idk lmao help
There’s probably way more games i’ve played and have just relegated to the back of my mind. Regardless
Stuff I briefly touched, and could come back to if i suddenly had a change of heart, but for the most part i’ll pass
pokemon master S*X: pokemon gacha shouldve been a slam dunk for me but the combat system that was not as reminiscent of the base franchise as i’d hoped was enough to turn me off :( tis a shame, i definitely liked the concept of key characters returning as summonable
touken ranbu: ahhhhhhh man again this’ll prbly remain a game that i look upon from afar, even after begging for it for literally years. i played for a few hours and couldn’t get the hang of the gameplay loop even with guides. the browser version will hopefully stick around in case i want to pick it up again
imas: ok this is also starting to age rapidly but it’s cute and a huge franchise. i’m not sure if that’s for better or worse. i’m sure the story isn’t too deep and am definitely not a fan of their manager character (?) being a lawless horny self insert (at least in the fan material lol)/the characters fawning all over them, but the live graphics and costumes were nice.
argonavis: had relatively high hopes for this one but again it ended up getting handled by a different studio than craft egg, and i wasn’t super impressed by the gameplay. no EN version was enough for me to at least hold off for the time being, i’d be more than willing to come back for nayuta
i7: i’ve actually tried the jp version and the gameplay was alright. knowing myself i was only there to adore gaku but the menu ui was both aged and confusing, and the main reason i’d need an english version is for the story, so i ended up dropping :( i’d easily return if an EN version came out
sifas: mannnn why does this take up SO much storage. i’ve again fallen off of caring too much about the new generations of love live, but i really tried to get on board with this game. even understanding that this was more of a unit leveler, i still couldn’t get the hang of it or understand the seemingly complex leveling system. which is a shame because they have some great riko cards :C
nier reincarnation: i wasn’t going to go down with this ship but definitely wanted to give it a try. some of the pain points were the dark ui (true to the aesthetic, not a bad point per se but just enough to turn me off) and its nature as an autobattler, but autobattles were kind of tedious? somehow? and the story and especially the voice acting was good but not enough to sell me. also i just feel bad for en on the rushed release schedule to try to catch up
d4dj: dang it i also wanted to like this one a lot especially as another bushi franchise but, i can’t help it, the character designs are kind of offputting TT_TT what’s more the dj mechanic of the gameplay is kind of fun but somehow more frustrating and a tad gimmicky in the face of missed input. ... also u tellin me these catholic school girls are all dj’s? wh-
Stuff i want to at least try dammit
uma musume: man wtf is this game even about. why does it take up just as much storage as priconne, cygames. why must i suffer. i just wanna know what’s going on with these horse girls or w/e (chara designs are undeniably p nice. world flipper [cmon lets go haruhi collab] will hopefully tide me over?)
pripara/prichan: i also don’t know wtf this game is about but i see it mentioned pretty often with other cutesy idol games. i wanna know
twisted wonderland: euhghuaghga pls give me actually good EN joseimuke. pls. i need it
assault lily: i have hopes that because it’s a bushi franchise we may see it soon. it’s hard to get info on the gameplay but i’d like to give it a brief shot

HPWU: A One Year Retrospective
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite turned one year old last month, and over the past year, it has improved a lot.
This review is looking at HPWU as a standalone game, devoid of the context of the book series, any views of its author, the movies and spinoffs, or any other media associated with the Harry Potter franchise.  I have plenty of opinions thereof, but they are not directly relevant to my opinions of the game and how it functions.
The game at its core is not particularly inventive, and at the beginning of its first year, it mostly felt like a reskin of Pokemon Go.  Spawns appear on the screen based on a map that a player traverses in real space, and players must tap on the spawns and then attempt to collect them in order to complete their collections.  But instead of catching Pokemon to fill the Pokedex, players are rescuing “foundables” from “confoundables” to fill their stamp collections.  Unlike Pokemon Go, multiple copies of each foundable must be collected in order to acquire the stamp, and once the entire page of stamps is collected, it can be prestiged in order to start the whole process over again.
Traversing the world, though, can prove to be complicated in anywhere but the most urban of areas.  I live in an urban area, close to my local downtown, and at the game’s inception, I had to walk pretty far in order to complete my daily F2P chores each day.  See, all of the POIs (points of interest) on the map are auto-generated from the data in Niantic’s original game, Ingress, and each POI is randomly assigned to one of three types.  Inns, where players can acquire spell energy, are the most common.  Next are greenhouses, where players can acquire potionmaking ingredients and occasionally, more spell energy.  And the least common of these POIs is fortresses, which allow players to enter timed dungeons either by themselves or with other players to fight baddies and get prizes for their efforts.
The randomness of assigning each of these three types of POI is a real drag for many players.  When the game was first released, I had two greenhouses and one fortress reasonably close to my home.  This was enough to play the game, as greenhouses also occasionally awarded spell energy just like inns, except that the dailies explicitly required me to interact with two inns each day in order to get any premium currency.  And as I mentioned, the assortment of POIs was completely random!  Some players found themselves with nothing but fortresses around, while others had only inns and no fortresses for multiple kilometers.  I considered myself relatively fortunate that I only had to walk 1 km to get to a nearby inn!
But unlike Pokemon Go, while the game encourages exploring, the core mechanics are not well suited to walking.  In Go, a rare spawn can be easily subdued in 1-2 attempts, and curveballs are quick and easy to throw.  In HPWU, the rarer the spawn, the more difficult it is to capture, and the more likely it is to run away.  Foundables are captured by tracing patterns on the screen, and they all have a rather low acquisition rate, which means the rare ones are more likely to flee than to stay put unless the player pours consumable items into their capture.  And even so, a player having to trace the same pattern multiple times just to capture a single spawn means that there is much more time standing in one place and less time walking.  This is not an exercise game.
And this is one of the core flaws that has plagued Wizards Unite since its inception.  It’s a clone of Pokemon Go, but every single mechanic that differs from Pokemon Go brings it further away from Go’s vision of an exercise game.  Wizards Unite is an augmented reality exploration game, but it’s more about exploring a story and a setting than about racking up burned calories.  This is especially apparent in limited-time events that encourage players to spend multiple hours standing still by the same POI, challenging hordes of enemies.
Monthly Community Day events aside, the regular cycle of in-game events was fun and engaging at first, but it quickly grew dull as players finished the main story quest and found the primary content of the game to be the fortnightly events.  This is always a struggle for F2P games, especially games that rely on collections rather than PVP mechanics.  The events weren’t even new content, merely recolored versions of content that already existed in the games, spawning much more frequently than other foundables and with featured spawn rates.  What was fun in the game’s first few months had quickly become tedious, especially when the featured foundables had low catch rates.
Despite this stagnation, the game has changed over time, and many improvements have been made.  The tonic for trace detection, a craftable potion that allows players to summon foundables to wherever they are, was long overdue when it was introduced into the game, allowing players who were less mobile to encounter more foundables when they had time to play.  Inns and greenhouses were rebalanced so that inns in less urban areas dropped more spell energy, and greenhouses’ spell energy became guaranteed, rather than a 50% drop rate, which was an important improvement for areas with a low POI density and an active playerbase.  Adventure Sync was added, which allows the game to track steps.  (Unfortunately, this feature does not function well, as the steps counted toward daily tasks only begin after the player’s daily login bonus, and AdSync requires the game to have access to the player’s GPS while the game is closed, which drains phone battery in the background. Players who already have AdSync enabled for Pokemon Go will not notice much difference.)
The most significant overhaul, of course, came with the onset of coronavirus.  In order to allow players to continue playing from their homes, the daily requirement to interact with inns was removed, and the Knight Bus, which allows players to remotely access fortress challenges and even engage with other players remotely, was implemented.  I have found that the implementation of the Knight Bus almost single-handedly revived my interest in the game when I had grown completely bored of it, as it was a lot more fun to play fortress challenges with friends, which I had barely been able to do before, than to play the game solo.
But these improvements also serve to highlight the flaws in this game that have not been improved since its release.  Trace completion always takes a particular shape, and its right-handed bias is clear the moment one attempts to complete a trace off-handed.  The swirl of Ebublio, in particular, which takes an “e” shape, feels much more natural in the counter-clockwise direction in the right hand than in the left.  Mirroring traces in a left-handed or “mirror” mode would be an easy fix!
SOS assignments have not been updated since day one of the game, and they have said “new assignments coming soon” since I completed them.  In my first few months of playing, that was the real draw of the game for me, finishing the story quest and continuing on to the next page to see what would happen next.  Each event feels like filler, while what would have made the most sense would have been to add four or five new pages of story quests every few months or so.  And they (and all other events) aren’t replayable, so when WB/Niantic/whoever is responsible finally gets around to adding them, we’ll all have forgotten what happened.  I already don’t remember.
Finally, the entire story as a whole, which is told as a haphazard, shoddy, zigzagging extra flavor to the repetitive, bland events, could have been told with just a week or even a day of gameplay in a regular game.  “What is causing this calamity?” the characters ask.  “I don’t know, but let’s patch the problem and investigate the cause later.  Maybe the identity of the next problem that arises will give us a clue.”  The game relies on half a dozen characters who show up just to give the player instructions, and it is somewhat over-reliant on the draw of the property to encourage players to invest themselves in the game.  This is not good for a game that is mostly divorced from the primary story of its franchise.  Assuming I knew nothing about Harry Potter or his universe before playing this game, and even if I do, there are way too many characters, and no documented point of reference for a player to look at for a reminder.  The main characters seem to be Constance Pickering and Hermione Granger, with a splash of Harry Potter and a pinch of Ron Weasley thrown in.  Their commentary doesn’t add much to my engagement because it’s the same mildly curious “I wonder what’s causing this” speculation we’ve had since the beginning.
Good stuff appears to be coming soon.  The strongest aspect of the game is the ability to customize one’s character with an ability tree, which lends more variety to the way players can interact with the fortress challenges.  An upcoming update is set to add this customization to the map screen, which may give this game the new life it so sorely needs.
All in all, judging Wizards Unite by its gameplay and content alone, and divorcing it from the source material, I’d rate it a C+.  The game isn’t sure what it wants to be.  It advertises itself as an exploration game, but punishes walking and rewards standing still.  Adventure Sync once again rewards walking, this time when the game is closed, but the player is again punished, this time by severe battery drain.  The game leans heavily on its story, but the story falls short due to poor updates and over-reliance on events to tease rather than deliver new story elements.
And of course, if we are to judge the game based primarily on its being an entry into the Harry Potter franchise, then we must begin to judge it on the merits and flaws of the franchise as a whole, which is a discussion for another day.  If we don’t measure it against the franchise, there is much in the game that will be confusing to a player unfamiliar with the series.  Who are these people, and why are we rescuing them?  Why are we rescuing this one man some of the time, and attacking him other times?  Four of the six pages of stamps feature characters from the franchise heavily.  Players who aren’t invested in the franchise won’t care too much about them.
To someone who isn’t interested in the Harry Potter franchise, or to someone who was previously interested but has become disillusioned with the author of the series, I recommend you pass on this game.  However, longtime fans who can still derive pleasure from the series, who separate the creator from the creation, or who view this and other derivative works as their own entries, created by teams rather than by the one who started it all, may enjoy this game.

Useful Advice For Mastering The Video Games
It looks like video games are just about everywhere these days. You can perform them on your phone, boot a console at property or even discover them by way of social media on your laptop. It helps to recognize this region of entertainment so you can take pleasure in the several choices that are out there. Stay away from chemical cleaners when cleaning off your game disks. If a game disc is not enjoying, you may possibly be tempted to use some sort of glass or window cleaner on it. This could effortlessly harm the disc even more. Find a soft, dry fabric and rub the disc clean with it rather. Do not get the term of a slight on regardless of whether or not a game is acceptable for them. If a game is rated M for experienced, there is usually a good reason for it. Do your homework on the hot new game your child is begging for. Make certain it is anything you want them actively playing ahead of you devote funds on it. If you are getting a game for your young children (or an additional kid you know) discuss the buy with them 1st. Never just buy on a whim. My non-F2P red sword infantry, aka the Land Of Units I Don’t Use Except For Ike
Ike: +Atk -Spd. -Spd isn’t a bad bane for him, as he can heal himself pretty easily. Swordbreaker takes care of the issue of fast swords so they become tasty tasty HP snacks for Ike. He’s part of my arena core, and as the only physical wall in that (aside from the possible bonus unit), it’s important he can take a sword to the face if necessary (and what with Zelgius/Ayra, he needs to be able to prevent them from doubling him). He has Hone Atk for Soren, mostly. Arena season means he now gets the DD seal.
Ayra: +Res -Def. Yet Another Red Infantry I Don’t Use. I don’t much like player phase melee, and with -Def, her EP is a bit shaky. I gave her Reposition in an attempt to correct my not using her but it’s not working great. Aside from that, I’m not married to her C-skill but it was easy to acquire with Repo.
Eirika: +Spd -Def. One of the rare red swords I actually promoted, because I like her character. I totally have enough Dew to give her her refine, but I just... don’t... She has TA3, but it didn’t help her enough, so I gave her Budget Fury in an attempt to give her a bit more oomph. It’s debatable how well it worked, as I don’t use her.
M!Corrin: has no fodder potential, so he’s a prime merge candidate! In a fit of hubris bias toward budget merges I gave him the Swordbreaker Tobin would have been able to use. He’s +Atk -Res, which seemed useful-ish. Of course, he rarely sees the light of day, being held back by his weapon. I’m not that far gone that I’d promote someone to give him a better one, though, and I’m definitely not spending Dew on him, so he might stay like for a while.
Soleil: +Atk -Def. I had a spare Brave Sword, and I gave her Desperation and she’s supposed to have the Brash Assault seal. The idea is simple, but I never once managed to do it, because the Brave Sword slows her down so I get scared she’s going to get killed if I make her bait someone, and I still don’t like player phase melee infantry. I haven’t tried using her with her Firesweep set.
Each of these are basically vanity projects, and I didn’t pull specifically for any of them aside from the first Ike, because there are enough F2P infantry swords for my purposes and I never use these. I’m only tempted to pull for infantry red when I like the character, and generally the reminder that no matter how lovely their art I’m not going to use them serves as a deterrent to prevent myself from hunting them. Leif was the notable exception. I’d have used Leif... probably
Also it’s worth keeping in mind that the less a character requires building the less I’m likely to use them a lot, I feel. That’s probably the FEH equivalent of being more invested in units that need babying in normal FE games.

Inthecarpets: Honestly. i played a few gacha, and i played some MMOs aswell. And Like, even regardless of the fact that people have different resources (whether it be time or coin); Genshin Impact (as i presume this is what you are talking of) is specifically abusively designed when it comes to those things. To the point that people who actually grinded and done so a lot finally Burn out cause the game didn't offer much of anything for the time spent.
I was playing Genshin daily and i was having fun but i was also grinding a lot as a F2P. and i was doing it for almost a year. And then the game's anniversary came. And i don't play it anymore bc i just burnt out. Regardless even of the anniversary itself, the game Has Terrible Terrible rates for anything and very low rewarding system for "hard work you could put in" 😔. Sometimes i miss it bc i was having fun but whenever i remind myself how frustrating it was? Im just.
Just one big Nope. Even after an almost year of grinding f2p you don't get finished with farming. Not for artifacts and Definitely not for characters. And the game stays as bugged and flawed as it was
And people just. Don't seem to realise it in some parts. That in fact its not exactly well designed game, even for a Gacha. And they just go for "grind more" or "pay some"
Yeah it’s Genshin of course! I generally think people should always be aware or try to be aware of the places people might be coming from when playing games but yeah in this case particularly. It’s just wild
I totally get how you could burn out I’ve burnt out multiple time and I’m pretty sure I don’t even play “correctly”. I think it’s very cool for you to make that decision to stay out of it cause it isn’t fun in that holistic way (does that sound corny hagsjsh )
Really the idea that any amount of “more time” put into it can get a player better rewards is a little silly cause like. So much of it is random drop based. Like Ofc you’ll hit a point where you have enough to get something good but is it a feasible time investment for most people? Is it even fun?
Like I dunno. In term of actually game play I kind of hate the fighting it doesn’t have the kind of skill based fighting I like in games so one hit kill enemies are fine by me, but I do like the story, and I love exploring spaces in games. What I can’t forget however is the gambling.
Like. I think that’s really the crux like. We all know gatcha pulls are gambling but yeah even the leveling system is. Kind of a lot of gambling style stuff. Sure there’s fights you have to do things you have to get. But after you finish the fight you wait to see what pulls up on the slot machine. I’m not saying people shouldn’t ever play games with randomized drop mechanics (good luck in the non indie space!) or even, god forbid!, that gambling can’t be fun? Like risky fun and much riskier for some than others and full into not fun and a big problem for others still. But. Like it’s something I think to be aware of if your playing a game that kinda forces you to gamble at least a little, and wants you to do it a lot! I dunno.
Unfortunately I’m going to talk a little bit about gaming and gamer culture
Having looked into a couple different forum threads when I found an event quite challenging for both tips and commiserations I have realized that people seem really bad at estimating players who might have a different engagement level and play style then themselves. Both for the people in a higher investment and lower than themselves but yeah always with a trend of less awareness to those with less investment.
Like if we’re talking a free to play game that’s on pc, console and phones the possible player base is just. Gotta be huge right? And I dunno I guess you have to realize there are people who arent thinking on this bigger scale but fundamentally we’re are all playing a game that’s got some pretty exploitative transactions mechanics, even you literally don’t have the money to be tempted with you can still “try your best” for free by sinking as many hours into grinding stuff as you can.
But that said there are even still people who don’t do that. They aren’t paying any money for game specific currency. They’re not buying the season pass. And there not playing every day, or at many hours a week. And that doesn’t mean there’s not “playing right”. But people will really say stuff like, you just can’t expect to do alright in this end game level without xyz requirements without realizing like? We’re talking about a game system here. It’s not some natural law, the game designers make it this way. Is isn’t a game we’re you can get much noticeable better by just playing and improving your own skill, and actually character experience gain with raw game play is negligible. Let’s ignore any season pass stuff and whatever cute euphemism there is for gambling.
To level up characters you have to grind leveling materials, boss fight materials, and collect crafting resources. To level up weapons you have to grind a light raid like system for a specific drop item (changes on certain days of the week!), minerals with can be collected in the over world or gained passively with some regular short check in, and specific enemy type drops. To level up stat increasing items (each character needs 5) is different light raids but with randomization, and then feeding the excess of those items to the ones that have well generated stats. And finally there is 3 skills to level up for each character, with a third item to grind in the light raid system and those enemy type item drops. All this just to make your characters hit better. Are you tired yet cause I’m tired. Did I mention you have to use 4 characters at once?
I hope this doesn’t come off as too much of a gamer rant. What I’m trying to say, with many grains of salt, is much like the real world: all the extra hoops we jump thru are not some natural state of the world. It’s not “oceans are salty, one meal costs more than minimum wage, and you have to grind 4 materials to be good at video games” a lot of people play free to play games cause they’re broke! And it’s nice to play video games. This is a fun video game I think, at least it can be. And there are actually a lot of people who have fun with video games that make them pull out the spread sheets and start crunching numbers. But regardless of that like? Time itself is a resource, and it’s not infinite either. Let’s please be aware of whose playground we’re playing in, and what they might want from us.

Simple Tips And Tricks To Help You Hit New Golf Clash Hack High Scores
From the days of joysticks to today's motion-sensitive gaming apparatus, video Golf Clash Hack are constantly getting more technologically advanced. If you want to stay on top of the latest gadgets, you need to know what you're doing. Read on to find some advice on a variety of video gaming topics.
To find inexpensive games, consider visiting eBay. You can find a number of older titles at considerable prices. If you are patient, you can even score a system at a great price. Make sure; however, to look at a seller's history and reviews before you purchase from them. You want to buy from someone reputable.
If you are getting a game as a gift for a child, always ask for several options before you head to the store. There are many factors to be sure it's appropriate for their age. You have to be certain so that you don't buy something that is inappropriate.
Playing video games is a great way to relax after a tough day at work or at school. Don't let a difficult level on a video game detract from this relaxing activity. Even the most experienced Golf Clash Hacks sometime need a cheat code to help get through an exceptionally hard level. On the Internet, there are some great sites that provide cheat codes and strategy guides for various video games.
Watch the experts. Youtube and other video sites are filled with people showing off their skills in every game imaginable, so take advantage of this resource. Stuck on a particularly challenging level? See exactly what it takes to get past it from someone who has done it before. You might see the very technique or item you need to finally master your game.
Most kids enjoy gaming, even children as young as preschoolers. As a parent, it is important that you choose games that are both stimulating and educational for your preschooler. When your child is playing a game, sit with your child and help guide them through the game. By doing this, the game will have more educational value and not just be a form of entertainment to keep the child busy while you do other things.
Massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs) are immensely popular. It's not hard to see why if you try a few out! Don't concentrate on heavily advertised brand-new titles, though. After a few years, popular MMORPGs often shift to a free-to-play (F2P) model. This allows you to enjoy most or even all of the game's content without paying a cent!
Stay at home and save money by playing video games with your friends. Many people use these Golf Clash Cheats as a form of entertainment. Most games nowadays are available to play online with others. You can also chat with your friends while playing. Cut back on expenses by staying home and playing games.
Don't be shy about downloading games digitally! While this distribution channel experienced a somewhat rocky start, the kinks have been ironed out. Today, downloading your games (legally) is a much faster and more convenient way to get access to them. It's also a great way to hang onto them; with most reputable services, you're allowed to download a game over and over again. This makes it easy to recover from a computer meltdown without fussing with a bunch of DVD-ROMs.
If you are a parent, do not ban video games completely from your child's life. In fact, some video games contain information that is educational for your child. Rather than telling your child, they cannot play video games, encourage them to play educational and fun games by purchasing the games for them.
To stay an active player in your children's lives, you must learn about their games. Test the game before they play, then play with them to see how they do. Be sure to ask questions, and show your interest in his favorite activity. That's the best way to experience it.
If you are having trouble finding older PC games, or even running them on current operating systems, try searching for online stores that offer downloadable titles. Stores such as Steam or GoG offer a wide range of older PC games that have been patched and updated to run on modern Windows and Mac's operating systems. These Golf Clash Hack Gems in these stores are priced at a fraction of their original cost, making them an affordable gaming option.
If you do most of your gaming on a personal computer, you can save a lot of money by staying a little bit behind the cutting edge. It can actually be a blessing to have a computer that's not powerful enough to play the newest, latest games. This allows you to focus on older titles that are usually sold at significant discounts.
Some of the most popular video games available today are role-playing games with truly astonishing depth and complexity. In order to get the most out of these kinds of games, don't hesitate to take notes on what you've done and what you intend to do. This can be especially handy if your opportunities to sit down and play come few and far between. Your notes will remind you of where you're going next.
Be aware of the addictive nature of gaming, whether it's you or someone, you love constantly at the console. Although games can be great fun and even offer something educational, they are by their very nature an addictive activity that can soon over-take anybody's life. Know the signs of addiction and watch out for them!
Are you a parent of children who enjoy playing Golf Clash Gem Hack ? If so, then try setting up a basement or sound-proof room for them to play. Video game playing can get quite hectic and loud, depending on the type of game. If you have moved the system into an out of the way space, the rest of the house will not be affected. Make the area comfortable with a fridge, nearby bathroom, comfortable seating and large TV.
From little kids to adults, Golf Clash Mod Apk are a fun pastime which enriches the lives of many. Now that you have a few tips under your belt, you should be able to move forward with your hobby in a way which is beneficial to yourself. This means winning, and who doesn't want to do more of that?

Majority of my followers know what Wakfu is, but not all know about the game: how many wounds it left in my heart, and everyone else’s. This post isn’t gonna be precisely explaining the wrongs that Wakfu did, I just wanted to mention that, in aftermath, it was a disaster of a game that left its most loyal players hurt, disappointed and immensely sad. I still keep meeting people who love this franchise, but can’t stand the game anymore since it’s.. Changed too much and didn’t stay enjoyable, to say mildly. I’m surrounded by, literally, traumatized veterans who look back at the good old days and shed tears. And I’ve been talking a lot about GW2 recently, not for no reason.
I want you to heal, just like I did. I mean.. I’m still hurt over Wakfu and I’ll stay this way forever, but I found a game where you can feel safe, loved, cared about. Devs in GW2 are humans who talk to us, who put smileys and memes in their posts, who hang out on reddit and ingame. This’s one of the major and striking differences between Wakfu and GW2. I’m still genuinely stunned by my own experience with customer support, I had a few troubles during my 1.5 years in GW2 and the response was not only fast and effective, it was HUMAN AND CUTE. I’m still not over it. Now that I’ve been invited to be a creative partner.. I’m still not over it too. They shower their regular players and content creators in gentle attention and kindness. I cry. During the 5+ years of being the most active and visible artist in Wakfu fandom, literally promoting it with thousands of drawings, I’ve never got a tiniest bit of official recognition. Not even a single placement on official media. When I took part in contests, I never won. Overall it’s been a one-way street. During my first 1.5 years in GW2, I’ve been noticed, picked up by the team, pampered and spoiled to the point of barely believing it’s true. That’s my personal experience, but it should indicate Anet’s general attitude towards the players. They. Do. Care.
I just wanna try and convince more ex-Wakfu players to give GW2 a shot. The two games are different in the visual and core gameplay aspects, yes, transitioning from an isometric 2D turn-based to a 3D, real-time game was somewhat harsh, but boy, how glad I am that I did it.
There’s EVEN MORE TEXT, brace yourselves. :D In GW2, I found everything that I wish was in Wakfu.
GW2 is a true sandbox. You log in, you do whatever the fuck you want. Level your first (second, 12th, 33rd, 68th) char? Grind mobs and dungeons? NO. Run around, look for events, explore, literally everything you do and everywhere you go, gives xp. You can level via crafting! Which, btw, is relevant throughout the entire game, unlike in Wakfu.
You do have dungeons of two kinds, and you CAN farm them if you want, but it’s your deliberate decision. There ARE farms in GW2, but they’re fun, if you’re not trying to get a legendary weapon in a month. I personally like running around with a bunch of random people who are there to FARM events in a specific map, but that happens once every two months.
Said legendary weapons ARE hard to get and yes, they can get you burnt out in no time if you don’t have a concept of a “long term goal”. Leggies are a prestige item, and, just like other prestige items (auras, specific minis, skins, etc), they’re meant to be your ultimate show-off item. People see you and know that you’ve been through.. A lot. BUT. Your hard-earned prestige item is to stay prestige. I assume you know relics in Wakfu? Then you must know what happened to them after a few years.
There’s no devaluing in GW2. Your trophies stay relevant and rare. Your prizes, your exclusive titles, skins, etc stay exclusive. You aren’t losing half of your wealth just because the devs decided to revamp ALL GEAR FOR THE THIRD TIME.
Speaking of the gear, the orange set you get at 80, is endgame gear. GW2 is 5 years old, so that orange gear is. People crafted it on the release and.. It stayed endgame. Yes, there’s also pink gear, which ~5% better than orange and is only needed if you do high lvl fractals or are min-maxing in raids. If you’re casual or just starting, you don’t even have to think about it. But once you craft your set, it stays relevant forever. People’s effort is never shoved up their asses.
There’s no constant carrot-on-a-stick gear upgrades. Level cap is 80 since release and will stay so. The game promotes safety and stability, that’s what attracted me. You take a 2 years break? No problem, you log in and go play. Nothing has lost its value, you don’t feel inferior, you don’t need to catch up to play with your friends.
Which reminded me: there’s a wonderfully done level downscale system. You’re a lvl 80 in a lvl 16 zone? Your stats are auto-adapted so the enemies you fought as a noob are still dangerous, and your reward (xp/gold/materials) is adapted to your true lvl. You go and play anywhere you want, and get fair rewards.
Crafting materials of all levels are also demanded and relevant. Oh yeah, you can run around for hours just gathering wood/ore, familiar to Wakfu players? It’s nice and relaxing until you meet another player. Well, in GW2 all gathering nodes are NOT shared. You see a tree? It’s your tree. That dude who runs up to it won’t steal it from you.
Oh also there’s no kill steal! Which is big, imo. You’re encouraged to play together, to help people kill stuff, to contribute to any event you see around, since everyone gets rewarded equally.
Legendary stability of GW2 servers. Lemme just say: there’s no weekly maintenance. There is. No. Downtime. Even on the big update days, you can download and play pretty safely. If there’s a hotfix, the game KINDLY WARNS YOU that you need to update and you have TWO FLIPPING HOURS to do so. Before you did that, you still can play, finish whatever you were up to.
Everything revolves around player’s happiness and convenience. There are constant quality-of-life updates. Your bags are full of crap? Here, salvage it into materials with two clicks, then deposit into your bank with two clicks (from anywhere in the world), then compact the rest of your shit. Yeah, with two clicks. x’D
There’s wonderful Fashion Wars. The game offers so much customization, and it’s taken so seriously, that it’s one of the endgame aspects. There’s 30000+ achievement points to earn, which are mostly fun and make you go out of your usual way. Dailies? You get 10 points and 2 gold for doing 3 easy tasks that take ~15 minutes.
There’s LORE. There’s fun little interactions all over the world. You just did an event? Stay here and listen, probably npcs will say/do something and start another event, logically following the previous one. The world lives and breathes. You can just walk around and observe. You’ll learn so much. And of course, there’s always a good cause to laugh. Dialogues/reactions are just hilarious sometimes.
Regarding the lore: there’s a so-called personal story which accompanies you up to lvl 80, then there’s “living world”, smaller events and single maps being rolled out every once in a while - so far there’s 2 seasons available, and 1 being “historical”, not playable anymore. In that season, they fucking crushed the main capital city. It changed forever. It was an epic event, which I missed, but watched people’s videos later. Then season 2, then HoT, then season 3, and now we’re waiting for PoF, second expansion. The updates have picked a nice pace and are frequent now.
There’s just so much to do. Just go, dive into the world and drown forever. :3c And meet me on the bottom. x’DD
GW2 feels different from Wakfu, but I found similarities for myself. It’s a sandbox after all, and later endgame has a lot of strategy. GW2 is never tank-and-spank. You just, literally, can’t facetank shit here. You gotta use your skills wisely, time your dodges, play with traits/passives until it all flows together. You’ve got a HUGE BUILD FREEDOM. There’s 9 classes, each having at least 3 defined roles, with more variations. You don’t just go ranger (oh archer it’s like a cra rite??) and do pew pew from max distance. Well, yes, you have a bow and can pew pew.. Or you can be a melee fighter, you can be a full blown healer/support.. As a ranger, yes.
I’ll be wrapping up now, I swear. GW2 is true f2p. Which of course does have a few restrictions (can’t trade or use map-chat), but you can get to 80, gear up and explore to your heart’s content before you decide to pay. I personally played for 5 months, every day, before I bought HoT.
Why’d you buy an expansion? More story, more maps, new class traits, gliding in HoT and mounts in PoF. The expansion and living world content has been constantly improving, visually, mechanically and lore/writing-wise.
Other than that, there’s a gemstore offering cosmetic and convenience items (gems can be bought for cash OR ingame gold). There are infamous rng boxes, but none of those are p2w. GW2 is oriented at the western consumer, which means, yeah, they know that we hate p2w and they’ll never do that to us.
*breathes out* I had to get that off my chest. I wanna talk about GW2 forever, but it’s exhausting to do one-on-one. :P Hopefully someone’s still reading this!
Now lemme remind you that now I have those partner links, if you use this to create a new account and play for free (for an hour or two months? w/e), or this to buy an expansion, I’ll get paid a bit. Not much, but it definitely helps!
And I was gonna write this wall of text regardlessly of the partnership one day, now I just have more incentive. x’DD Plus, we’re gonna have a beta weekend on 11-13 august, where you can preview the second expansion for free! It’s a perfect timing to write this post and try convincing you. You’ll just need a f2p account, and you’ll be given a lvl 80 boost and whatnot for that beta weekend. I’m not sure yet, but I assume you WILL. Just please register using my link above, so that I get paid for the two hours I spent on this post. :D

just say yes to everything, what could go wrong? 8:12am 7/18/19
I had a pretty fucking incredible weekend. (I’ve got some thoughts bouncing in my head and I need a break from work real quick since I’m procrastinating I might as well write)
I entered my second big Magic the Gathering tournament on Saturday. I took this decklist from a pro that I really respect. BW Vampire tribal. I was excited for it too, it half reminds me of my BW Clerics onslaught block days, and half just feels appropriate because I’m a vampire myself now lmao. The tournament went weird though. I started off with a win, lost second round but didn’t really get disheartened. Then tore off two sweet comeback wins and was sitting pretty at 4-1. The format for these big tournaments is Swiss, so with 400 entrants we needed to play 8 rounds and go X-2 or better. But the thing is is this tournament sign in started at 8, I played my first round AT the office after I clocked out, and each round was starting another hour later. So by the time I take a quick loss to RDW in round 6 (to put me at 4-2) I’m fucking DRAGGING. Like falling over can’t even talk to my stream dragging. I had this “great” idea to just take a nap for the 45 minutes until the next round was supposed to start. Didn’t wake up for an hour, missed cutoff for round 7 by what must’ve been 5 or 10 minutes and was told I couldn’t argue the disqualification. So I got knocked out by sleep. Guess I’m not so great a vampire after all lmfao. Or maybe it was the sun, I think it must’ve been like 2pm by that point. Ugh. I was bummed as fuck though, almost just tried to sleep the day away. I AALMOST FUCKING made it, man. just two more wins would’ve put me into some good money I think. Definitely bragging rights of top 8 would’ve been radical. And I felt like I cheated myself out of the chance. It was all my fault lmfao.
But yknow after like a half hour of trying to sleep the sadness away I was like “fuckit I can’t be sad about this forever, I better get out of the house.” The original plan for the weekend was to play magic the whole time, it was Competitive Metagame Challenge weekend, which is the best time to unlock all the cards for me as a F2P player. But I didn’t care anymore lol I just couldn’t stare at the cards. So I hit up my buddy Brandon to see what he was up to, and he said he was going to a birthday party and invited me to come along. I said well hell yeah, if it’s cool. Asked him whose party it was and he said John somethingorother and I was like okay at least I’ll know who to ask for in case people are ready to kick out some fucking rando lmfao.
But I went to this party tentative as fuck about what would happen and the funniest thing happened - not only did I end up knowing a handful of people there, like my favorite bartender at my karaoke night, I also knew the birthday boy! Turns out he was my buddy John (and his gf Sue) that I’d drink with at Ruby whenever I’d go out with Alex! It was amazing. Like I actually know some people in Raleigh and I’m not a fucking stranger wandering around. It felt really nice. Totally got me out of my shell, I started talking to some architect girls (got one of their number, but she’s the one with the boyfriend lmfao rip), jammed out to Pantera and shit with a bunch of people. Got some new music on the playlist, pounded some vodka from a watermelon, started talking about cat tail butt plugs, had a grand ol time hahaha.
But it turns out this party is actually a double party - there’s also a bunch of people in the apartment complex celebrating this going away party for this couple moving to california. Once all the birthday crowd heads out and Brandon had left to go to a concert, one of the girls I’m semi-flirting with says that her and a bunch of the going away party people are gonna bar hop for a while and asked me to come along. So of course you know me, I say hell yeah and start bouncing around bars just drinking and meeting everyone I can and enjoying the fuck out of myself. We hit up like 4 different places, I think this place Dram and this loud dancy place, and then I got distracted sneaking into the VIP area and most of them dipped out to this other dancier place Alchemy. I found one of the remaining dudes who also got left behind and he pointed me in the right direction and I ran down the street dodging people and apologizing saying I had to meet up with some girls lmfao. Danced my ass off in this club, got my yeezys all dirtied (don’t worry they’re fine now) but I wasn’t worried about it I was drunker than I’ve been in weeks. On the way in one of my buddies from playing smash said hey. He was on some molly and was fucking PUMPED to see me out and about lmao. But I was a man on a mission and I actually managed to dance myself all the way through every corner of this club find the girl. Just when I was about to give up I found her and we got to chat for a bit, but I went to grab a drink and only kept seeing her briefly throughout the night. Puked in front of the bar during a smoke break and decided it might be time to leave, but I sent a goodbye message to my smash buddy.
Actually decided that instead I’d call him and he picked up and asked where I was so I decided to say hey for real, and then he started introducing me to all of his work friends, and all of a sudden they’re inviting me to one of their apartment complexes to go swimming and play some video games now that the bar was closing. So I was like FUCK YEAH and we hoof it a couple miles or whatever (it felt like forever) to his complex, and I get to drunkenly swim around for a while and play a game or two of Special before walking home with my buddy. 4:50 am I’ve made it home to cookout and got to stuff my face with a burger and pass out for 12 hours.
So fucking nice. It feels like every decision I’m making is fluidly perfect. It’s been so long since I’ve had a nice meandering adventure of a night like that. Didn’t get any tail, but the friendship’s the more important thing anyway ;)
Then the next day after DND I’m sitting there at 10PM when I get a call from my buddy Carly to drive out 40 minutes to her place in durham and drink with her roommates and one of my old smash friends, and I said fuck yeah I’ll do that too. Really frustrates me that none of my roommates/close buddies here in Raleigh don’t ever want to go on whimsical adventures with me, but I guess it’s just natural that nobody can keep up with me wanting to do random bullshit.
So now I’m trying to plan my shit out for next week. My buddy Chris is having a karaoke going away party at my old haunt. But if I were to go who could/should I even hit up to stay with? I wanna say Ash but if Aaron is going then she might not even be. What if she’s living somewhere else with her new guy? I guess I should try to catch up. But is it worth going out to greensboro now that I’ve got a scene of people I’m really trying to get close to in Raleigh? What if I miss out on an after party this week where I can finally become friends with some of these bar friends? Kind of frustrating that my karaoke night is still Tuesday.
And I guess one of the biggest conflicting factors is also whether I should try to say hi to Andi while I’m going to greensboro, or if that should even be a factor? I haven’t heard from her since I broke things off with her and blew up on the phone, so I’m sure she’s better off not hearing from me. Seems rude though. Not that I’m really interested in patching things up and becoming buddy buddy again, I’ve felt really great not being in love with someone who wasn’t interested in me. And being happy go lucky me has been wonderful, a fresh breath of air, a world of infinite possibilities. Idk... I just care still I guess. It’d be nice to see her. It’d be pretty nifty to see her as a friend and as a hookup and not as a love interest. Maybe that’s selfish or pigheaded but w.e. My life is good right now though, and I’m finally feeling good about myself, so maybe it’s best to let things lie. I really just hope she’s doing well too.
When you can say yes to two things what do you say yes to? Maybe the going away party should be the priority. After all I’m doing emo karaoke here in raleigh on sunday. Even though that’s a totally different crowd of people. Or maybe I should stick to my routine so I don’t fuck up work?
I don’t knowwwww someone make these decisions for me. Someone tell me they want to see me other than Chris sending out a general birthday invitation.
Hrmph. I guess I’ll just have to let ya know how it all plays out.
