“Don’t worry, Li. I’ve got this.” My voice is light and airy as I turn to face the brunette girl staring at me with hatred across the mat. “No weapons. No signets,” Devera says. “Match ends when one of you is —” “Dead?” I smile innocently. “Remi!” Devera barks and I widen my eyes at my favourite teacher. “Slightly maimed then.” I correct sweetly and Devera sighs, shaking her head.

“Well anytime you get the urge to assassinate her,” my sister begins comfortingly, “just remember they would never have been married for long.” Her lips curve up. “A gryphon flier with an attitude problem? Sgaeyl would have incinerated her within a week.”
Well...she's not wrong.
I'm shamelessly stealing this from twitter, but writers !! Quick, reblog with the last line or two that you wrote, no cheating.

So anyway, speaking of Dreamlight Valley, last night i had a dream about it except it was Dreamworks instead of Disney and here's what I remember about that fucking monstrosity:
Shrek is the first villager you unlock naturally, and every time you hang out with him, that shitty midi version of All Star plays in the background
Donkey is there too and he offers to make you waffles (he never does)
Fiona was also there. That is all I remember about Fiona
Puss in Boots and Kitty Softpaws were villagers but their house was almost always inaccessible, mostly because i presume there were in there having crazy cat sex at all times
Will Smith Fish from Shark Tale moved in but immediately died because he just appeared in the plaza and had no water so he flopped around until he died thank god
The two dudes from El Dorado were there and were roommates and I thought that was pretty gay but where the fuck was Chel
Every Hour on the Hour King Julian from Madagascar showed up in the plaza and hosted a Mandatory Dance Party
Barry B Benson from Bee Movie was there but every time you spoke to him he would quote the Bee Movie Script in its entirety before getting to any actual quest dialogue
Instead of Remy's restaurant, Po from Kung Fu Panda hosted a dojo where he teaches you to beat the fuck out of any villagers you don't like
Hiccup and Astrid were there and were roommates (Good for them, they're canonically married after all) and so was Toothless but he was Concerningly Off Model I was scared
Megamind was there. That is all I remember about Megamind.
The Penguins of Madagascar weren't technically villagers but they kept showing up all over the valley to spy on me
Boss Baby showed up at one point and I kicked his ass thanks to the kung fu Po taught me
The game ended when Moses from Prince of Egypt showed up and called upon God to smite the village and my game cartrige caught fire irl
#now i want this version of dreamlight valley#dreamworks life sim when#it'd be so funny#jen rambles#disney dreamlight valley#dreamworks#shrek#kung fu panda#how to train your dragon#madagascar#and various other dreamworks franchises lol

Some Uncanny thoughts
Some thoughts about this issue but more like about this run so far.
One thing I am sorry to say about this issue is that its clearly shows that Marquez needs a break. Art is good in Rogue scenes but battle scenes feel like half done. Mangakas usually corrects things for volume release so I wonder is this is possible for american comics
1. So first thing first. Simone did tell on twitter that the most controversial page from this issue is going to be two women talking in office and she didnt lie. I have fall out of comics for some time so I dont remember exact timeline but if Rogue used to live in NYC for some time maybe she just didnt want to sound like country bumpkin. Thats usually main reasons people try get rid of accents. Maybe she wanted to do something more public. At the end scene mixes with reality but it makes me question if Harvey powers actually messed up whole scene and its not really how it was. The quote used in the scene if from 9th sonnet of Shakespeare.
2. Jubilee comment how Jitter and Deathdream had each other backs and it was implied before. Could be something behind that closeness. Like they are yin\yang variation.
3. Sarah singled out Calico pretty fast. I think its too early to let go of idea that girl somehow related to Sarah or Xavier,
4. Zero surprise about Sarah. Something was clearly off with her story. She might be a mutant but her story feel more mystical than sci-fyish. People pointed about Llorona but it reminded me of slavs version of mermaids - rusalka-s, In versions I read they were either girls who drowned themselves or dead unbaptised babies. Sarah kinda fits both since she said she was pagan. If she didnt lie that is.
5. Remy Lebeau gathers death flags faster than mushrooms grows after the rain. But its all so right in your face that to me it looks like misdirection.
6. People say Harvey having healing powers is way too convenient and they are right. But its feel like a reason for this is pretty clear. Simone didnt want Rogue to take Logan healing factor. After battle too. Because something going to happen when she probably do it eventually. There are two things I can think of and I suspect both are true
a)If she absorbs Logan his thoughts would flow right in her mind and she going to have some kind of discovery. If you wonder what kind of... well let me get you a few hints or what I think it is. In 3 issue during kitchen talk there was what I suspect very feeble reference to very conflicting arc in x-men history. Also unlikely old Louisiana manor has sound isolation.
7. Also b) I really suspects Logan has R-lds. And by the time he met with Rogue and Remy in first issue he practically went blind. His eyes still havent regenerated at the start of issue and even though it happened somewhere during the fight at the end he stll wears blindfold. Like theres no difference. Might be the reason for moonbeam nickname. Thats literally how he sees Rogue now. Simone did write though that he called another X-lady like that in the past and I wonder who it was.
So if Rogue absorbs him now would she also get R-lds? I dont remember her and Remy being resurrected during Krakoa but I might be wrong.

hey i’m sorry for bothering you with this question but i can’t remember where i read this scene… it’s one where remy is in jean-luc’s study after he k*lled belladonna’s brother; jean-luc is very mad breaking the news to remy he’s being exiled. then remy asks what he would do if he couldn’t find a way to survive — something like that — and jean-luc replies something along the lines of “then my son… you steal from faith”. i thought it was from HOC trilogy but i can’t find it! maybe it’s in coda? (i’ll definitely reread everything when i have the time)
Okay, I had to check this one too! It's in chapter 20 of Arrow of Time, The Reconciliation. It's on p. 347 of the print version. And the quote is 'you steal from fate'. Which is... I know I got that from somewhere, but I can't remember where. Was it from Gambit (1999)? Or from X-Treme X-Men? For the life of me, I can't remember now. Anyway, I think Remy says to Rogue, 'Let's steal another one from fate', and I took the line from there, but it all escapes me now. 🤔
And can I just say how wonderful it is that you connected with all Remy's childhood moments, the ones with his father. I'm so happy they resonated with you. I have ... thoughts and feelings about father/child relationships. They always touch me in some way. Glad you felt the same way too, through my words. 🫶🏼

“Rem,” Liam hauls me close, heedless of the blood coating my leathers. “Talk to me.” My lip quivers. “Liam.” The way his name leaves my mouth is more desperate than I’d like.
This chapter was supposed to be angry but now it’s sad too so sorry about that except for the fact that I’m not

X-Men: The Animated Series - Season 1 (1992-1993)
Ok, so I just finished watching Season 1 of the X-Men and honestly, it holds up well. Like, really well. Disturbingly well. The show is really good at portraying the struggles of oppressed groups and the bullshit bigots throw at them. This is very prevalent in the Sentinel storyline, which is the main story arc of the season.
Honestly, I enjoyed it. Like, yeah, there were a few moments that I wasn’t vibing with, as a whole I can confidently say it was good. I am very excited to jump into Season 2.
As usual my live reactions (? I guess. I mean, I write these as I’m watching. What do you call a text version of a reaction?) are below the cut. Gimme like a couple weeks to watch Season 2.
Episode 1 - “Night of the Sentinels - Part 1”
Ok, so as our introduction to the world of the X-Men, I thought that was alright. Honestly thought we’d spend more time with Jubilee to flesh out the world a bit more, but eh, I’m too bothered. Certainly got more outta this 20 minute episode than any of 60s Spider-Man 20 minute episodes, this actually had decent action and a plot. But of course it comes with a level of 90s edge, which isn’t my particular vibe but I don’t hate it. I’d honestly say my biggest gripe with this episode is it was quantity over quality, it introduced pretty much the entire main team, but didn’t really do a lot in terms of characterisation. Not to say that it didn’t do any, every character is very much in character this episode, it just felt a little shallow. I expect this to be remedied by the end of the season.
Characters introduced:
Jubilee / Jubilation Lee
My sheer lack of X-Men is about to come through. I have next to no idea who this is. I’d vaguely heard of her before, but as far as I’m aware she isn’t in the Fox films, so I’m just not familiar. Which is fine, because it allows me to get to know her as the show continues, which is what a show is supposed to do with its characters. Anyway, I think her powers are weirdly vague and not really explained, but you kinda get the jist of them after a bit.
Sentinels
I was not expecting Sentinels right off the bat, but they do create an immediate threatening and domineering presence. So I checked the Marvel wiki and apparently these specific Sentinels are the Mk IV variants, I think that’s what they are in Earth-616, as it seems like they’re something new in this continuity.
Rogue / Anna Marie
So I’m vaguely aware of the Ms. Marvel situation in this show, which leads me to wonder if she has flight and super strength in the comics? Cause she doesn’t in the films, at least I don’t think she does. It’s been awhile since I’ve watched them.
Storm / Ororo Munroe
As Shakespearian as ever, Storm is here. She honestly raises the question for me, are there actual people that talk like her? Like, seriously her dialogue would fit in a Dickens novel.
Gambit / Remy LeBeau
“wooimbouttamakeanameformyselfere”
Cyclops / Scott Summers
I have nothing to say about Cyclops. He’s just kinda here. He’s a bit boring. I hope he does something later.
Beast / Henry "Hank" McCoy
Another case of “do people actually talk like this?” Like who the fuck quotes books and shit mid conversation? “Teri, you quote vines on a daily basis.” Touché
Morph
So going into this, the only shapeshifter mutant I knew about was Mystique, so finding out about Morph was a surprise. I actually did a bit of digging around them. Found a few things: Originally they were supposed to be another guy, but the show runners didn’t wanna kill off like the only Native American from the comics, so he got swapped out for another guy, called Changeling, but they couldn’t use that name because Beast Boy was using that name at the time, and the show runners didn’t wanna catch heat from DC, so settled on an original character, Morph. Also, it should be noted that apparently in X-Men ‘97 Morph is revealed to be non-binary, which is great and if anyone has a problem with this fact I invite you to go fuck yourself.
Professor Charles Xavier
I don’t really have much to say about Xavier other than he has some weird eyebrows, and I don’t much care for his hover chair. Like, what’s wrong with having a normal wheelchair Charlie? You think you’re better than everyone? Prick. For sake of clarity, this is a joke. I actually have no strong opinions on the chair. That’s a lie, I think it’s an ugly colour.
Jean Grey
She sure does appear in this episode. That is all I can say about Jean Grey. I know fuck-all about this woman.
Wolverine / James "Logan" Howlett
Logan is as aggressive as I expected him to be. So this is fine.
Henry Gyrich
Another guy that I know next to nothing about. I honestly thought he was Trask, and I am apparently wrong, so there you go. He seems like a slimy git.
Episode 2 - “Night of the Sentinels - Part 2”
Oh no, I can’t believe Morph died, who could’ve ever seen this coming.
I didn’t mention in the last episode that the mutants are pretty much a stand-in for every oppressed group in modern society. I never used to fully understand it, until watching this and being part of the LGBT+. It hits very close to home. The idea that your own government hates you, wants you dead for something you have literally no control over. It’s not fun. Seriously, try being trans in the UK, it’s bullshit. Granted I know there are much worse places, but I’m just talking from personal experience. And also, being trans doesn’t give me random powerful abilities, it would be great if it did. Point being, mutants are very on the nose about what they represent in the lens of the real world, you could try to argue this level of social science has no place in a children's show, but I would argue that this is the perfect place to teach children that sometimes are different, and that’s ok.
At bare minimum this kinda plot leads to some truly hateable villains, which would be funny if it weren’t realistic.
Onto the actual contents of the episode, it’s pretty good. Characterisation is pretty much on point, dialogue is aggressively 90s, and the non-mutant characters are mostly despicable.
Characters Introduced:
Bolivar Trask
That ain’t Peter Dinklage, what kinda bullshit you pulling here?!
Episode 3 - “Enter Magneto”
If George Orwell’s “Animal Farm” were a picture book, I still don’t think the guards watching Beast would understand it.
Anyway, hi Erik, nice to see you, glad you could drop in.
Something I noticed is certain scenes with flashing imagery seem extremely slowed down. I presume this was a decision by Disney for the Disney+ version, as modern rules regarding epilepsy are a lot stricter than they were in the 90s.
Not gonna, the anti-mutant protest outside the courtroom and the cunts in the courtroom are so frustratingly realistic. Like, seriously, what the fuck do they think they’re gonna achieve? That if they say “no more mutants” hard enough Hank will lose all his fur? Of course they don’t think that. This show in 3 episodes has done a very, very good job at showing how bigotry works. I know it gets more extreme as the show goes on, but as far as I’m aware, at no point does it become unrealistic. This show came out in ‘92, everything on display is still relevant in 2024. That should horrify you. Or piss you off depending on who you are as a person.
Onto something lighter, can we appreciate Wolverine’s sheer disdain for Sabretooth. It’s great.
Also since when could Xavier transfer information from Cerebro to X-Men on the field? Specifically, how did Storm insta-learn how to shut off nukes? Deus-ex my arsehole.
Character Introductions:
Magneto / Erik Magnus Lehnsherr
Here we finally have Magneto. Genuinely as I’ve got older, I’ve understood his entire deal so much more, and like, yeah, he’s a villain, he’s a prick that can and will kill anyone in his path, but he’s not completely wrong. Again, I do not think he’s in the right, but he is also someone that has been scared by the worst of humanity. His anger is justified, and ultimate goal of mutant freedom is good, but the way he plans to achieve that goal is fucked. I think it’s a really good detail that Erik sounds and looks genuinely hurt when the X-Men go against him, cause he actually believes he is doing the right thing. So, round of applause for a complex villain. Hooray!
Sabretooth / Graydon Creed, Sr.
Diego is my least favourite of the Ice Age herd, I think he’s a bit of a dickhead… Wrong sabretooth, Teri. Graydon Creed is definitely a guy with a very hateable face. All I really know about him is that he’s a cunt that’s involved in Wolverine’s backstory. I’m sure this will be explored further as the series progresses.
Episode 4 - “Deadly Reunions”
HIM! WHERE IS HE!? WHERE IS WADE?!
So this episode establishes Storm’s claustrophobia and Rogue’s power absorption. Cool.
“...you wish me to wage war on six billion humans?” Oh. 3 decades. All it took was 3 decades to add another two billion to the human population. This has nothing to do with the episode really, it’s just that fact only just sank in with me. I’ve got nothing to add, just bloody hell, these are some scary numbers.
Jesus Christ Xavier, the fuck man? Weaponizing war trauma to beat Magneto? I mean, I get why he did it, but like, nah I ain’t about that.
“Right, and I’m the queen of England.” Honestly, Jubilee would be a much better queen of England than our useless king.
So, how the fuck did Sabretooth actually manage to wound Wolverine? Like, surely his healing factor would just fix him up real quick?
Character Introductions:
Senator Robert Kelly
Finally in the flesh, the king bigot. Motherfucker pretty much says he wants to set up concentration camps for mutants. As if the metaphors couldn’t be anymore on the nose.
Episode 5 - “Captive Hearts”
I do quite like how Storm’s claustrophobia is a recurring problem, it actually adds at least a bit of depth to her character.
Not gonna lie, I’m fond of the Wolverine pining for Jean bullshit.
Is this episodes plot just Callisto getting pissy that Scott won’t fuck her?
Also can we just talk about how creepy Wolverine gets when chasing Callisto, like I’m not here for that. It’s not good.
Anyway Storm and Callisto having a lightsaber duel was pretty cool.
Character Introductions:
The Morlocks
Ok, so yes I’m grouping a lot of characters together here, but honestly I know so little about them I don’t have anything interesting to say. Before watching this I had never even heard of them, with the sole expectation of Leech, because I’m pretty sure he appears in one of the Fox films. Anyway, according to Marvel Wiki, here's all the named Morlocks: Leech, Sunder, Erg, Plague, Masque, Tar Baby, Annalee, Callisto, Tommy, Ape, Scaleface, & Glow Worm.
Episode 6 - “Cold Vengeance”
Oh no, Wolverine threw a tantrum and left, who could have ever seen coming.
Genuine question, how much of Canada is an ice cap?
Is Sabretooth wearing a skintight suit, or is he butt naked?
Can we just talk about the fact that both Storm and Jubilee wear appropriate casual attire, but Gambit’s still in his combat attire.
How did Sabretooth manage to catch and tie up the entire village? Like, surely someone could have escaped? Or more likely, wouldn’t he have just killed them all? Like, he’s a murderous psychopath, I’m surprised he could even be bothered to set bombs.
Ooo, looky the Sentinels are back.
Episode 7 - “Slave Island”
One of the antagonists of this episode is some cunt who calls himself “The Leader”, he’s not the actual Leader (Samuel Sterns), so I ain’t including him in the character introductions.
Why is Gambit weirdly out of character this episode? Like, he's much more of a prick than usual here.
Why is Cable here? How is Cable here? What time travel shenanigans were required for him to be here?
Character Introductions:
Cable / Nathan Summers
But seriously, why is Cable here? Not that I don’t appreciate him being here, I just kinda want an explanation. Especially since the episode seems to indicate that he’s not from the future, but I’m fully aware later seasons will contradict that. Maybe I’m missing something and this’ll be explained later.
Mastermold
That’s a big arse Sentinel.
Cameron Hodge
So, technically this guy first appears in Episode 3 as Beast’s lawyer, but he had no impact on the story and he was being pro-mutant, which is out of character.
Blob / Frederick Dukes | Sunfire / Shiro Yoshida | Feral / Maria Callasantos
These guys have speaking roles in the episode, but I honestly have nothing to say about them.
Cameo Appearances from Mystique, Pyro, Rictor, Avalanche, Thunderbird, Northstar, Aurora, Caliban, & Domino.
Episode 8 - “The Unstoppable Juggernaut”
Not gonna lie, I like how the Fox films actually show there being students at the X-Mansion, cos honestly without them, the place looks abandoned.
I really feel bad for Colossus, guys just doing a job and gets attacked by a group of bigots and then Wolverine & Jubilee. Like, seriously, when he says “What is it with these Americans? They are very strange people.” I’m inclined to agree with the guy (this is ignoring the fact that Logan is Canadian). Then he gets arrested for a robbery he doesn’t commit. Bloody hell, this man can’t catch a break. Thankfully his company in prison was Beast. The man may talk like an academic but at least he’s friendly.
What does Juggernaut need money for? Can’t he just take literally anything he wants? He’s the Juggernaut, who the fuck is stop him?
Anyway, I think he is fucking hilarious. Legitimately the funniest character the show has introduced.
I’m sure Juggernaut vs. Colossus is a fight I’m never gonna see again
Ok, what we’ve learnt is that if Rogue absorbs Juggernaut’s powers, she breaks. Interesting.
And at the end he just walks away, because of course he does. Not like they can beat him any other way.
Characters Introduced:
Colossus / Piotr Rasputin
Can I just say that I think Colossus is lovely. Like, I think he’s a very good example of what a man should be. Strong, friendly, a little bit dumb. A himbo by true definition. I may be crushing on a fictional character.
Juggernaut / Cain Marko
“Don't you know who I am? I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!”
Episode 9 - “The Cure”
More Cable shenanigans. I’m sure he’s actually from the future this time.
Oh look Logan being a twat and antagonising most of the team, I’m sure that’ll go really well for him.
Damn, Gambit really out here trying to push himself onto Rogue, despite knowing she could kill him just by touch. What a knob.
Everytime Cable asks for Dr. Adler, I’m just reminded of this moment from Dragon Ball Z Abridged.
That is all.
Character Introductions:
Angel / Warren Worthington III
This millionaire in the colour blue is available for pre-order. Call 1800-APOCALYPSE now!
Moira MacTaggert
As far as I’m aware she’s important to the X-Men mythos, but I personally know fuck all about her.
Mystique / Raven Darkhölme
Ah, Mystique, the psychotic bitch with the power to make all trans people jealous. Infuriating.
Pyro / St. John Allerdyce
For some reason, they decided he needed English instead of Australian in this continuity.
Avalanche / Dominikos Petrakis
Ok, so his powers are like, seismic energy right? It just bothers me that a guy named Avalanche doesn’t have ice powers.
Apocalypse / En Sabah Nur
Not gonna lie, I’m kinda surprised to see Apocalypse here. I honestly expected him to be, like, ‘the big bad’ at the end of the series.
Episode 10 - “Come the Apocalypse”
Ok, so lemme get this straight, Warren wants a cure for his mutation because he considers himself a freak, yet the fucker wears a full spandex superhero suit that incorporates his wings. If you hate your wings, why would you own a bright red and white costume? Make yourself more visible? Dumbarse.
“Death, the winged avenger”, 🤓☝️erm ackshually, Apocalypse, Archangel isn’t an Avenger.
And then they all fuck off. Kinda anticlimactic, ngl.
Character Introductions:
Archangel / Warren Worthington III
This millionaire is now available in the colour. To get yours call 1800-HORSEMANofDEATH now! “Didn’t you already include Worthington here?” Yeah, but this time he’s blue… and slightly insane.
Episode 11 - “Days of Future Past - Part 1”
Wow, it really takes no time at all for Bishop to flip teams.
Ok, so what causes Bishop’s amnesia? Was it Nimrod reaching for him? I don't think this is ever explained.
Oh, hi Frank. Good to you see. Going by the wrong name I see.
More questions, why’s Bishop’s time thingamajig not working properly?
I’m sorry, but what the fuck? Bro just drove a bus straight through the X-Mansion XD.
Ok, I like Wolverine’s constant mocking of Bishop. The man deserves it, he’s a bit of a stuck up prick.
… Oh my god. I just made a horrifying realisation.
Silver is just Bishop’s hedgehog-sona.
Gambit finally shows back up and Bishop’s immediate first thought is to shoot the bastard. Don’t worry man, it happens to all of us. I too murder the first frenchman I see when sent on important missions.
Characters Introduced:
Lucas Bishop
“It’s no use!” Bishop is the kinda guy to shoot first, ask questions never.
Forge
He is here. I don’t actually have any idea who he is.
Nimrod
This is a really dumb name for something that’s supposed to be threatening.
Episode 12 - “Days of Future past - Part 2”
Jesus, Jubilee, what’s your beef with tattoos? I mean, they’re not really my vibe, but there’s no reason to call Bishop a freak. (We’re just gonna ignore that the guy shot Gambit and Rogue, that ain't important.)
Genuinely, Logan’s been pretty funny these last few episodes.
So, is Magneto not the leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants in this continuity? Interesting.
Again with the protesting? What the fuck do they hope to achieve? Fuck me, bigots are really fucking dumb.
Loving Blob’s Hawaiian shirt, tho.
Speaking of, how does Blob’s powers work? Like, is he just impervious to damage by sheer fat? If so, that is both really gross, but really cool.
“This kid’s crying. Do something” before shoving the child into Jubilee. Honestly, same, Logan. I too don’t wanna deal with crying children.
Mystique is just the queen of gaslighting and manipulation. Especially with Rogue.
I quite like that the whole assassinate Senator Kelly plot was Apocalypse’s plan, keeps him lurking in the background like the big bad he ought to be.
Characters Introduced:
Blob / Frederick Dukes
Technically, Blob made his first appearance in Episode 7, but this is his first appearance of actual significance.
Episode 13 - “The Final Decision”
Oh look, the bigots have resorted to rioting cause they’ve decided a group of people are responsible for shit only a few have done. 😒Where have I seen that before?
Ok, so a few things. One, how the fuck did Mastermold achieve sentience? Two, why is its plot effectively just to create the cybermen from Doctor Who?
Oh, hello Ghost Rider, fancy seeing you here.
“Stop him gently, Storm.” “As gentle as the falling snow.” She then proceeds to almost kill Gyrich by making him crash into a tree. Good job, Storm.
This is the first thing I thought of when the X-Men were debating on if it’s worth saving Senator Kelly with Gambit reluctant to join.
“You're all fools... Heroic fools.” I literally could not agree more Erik. “The brave are always the first to die.” and that is just fucking cold. Not gonna lie, I fucking love Magneto in this show.
Thinking about it, why do the sentinels even bother discussing what they are doing? Like shouldn’t they all be talking to each other through some kinda network? I feel like that would’ve made them more threatening.
“What is that object? It appears to be the ace of spades.” Like, seriously, how are these guys a serious threat?
“Did you think I would let you die alone, Xavier?” Aw, Erik does care.
“Mutants are human. Therefore, humans must be protected from themselves.” Ok, so Mastermold is based. Still an evil prick, but at least it ain’t a bigot.
Ok, so with Scott and Jean’s proposal scene, why does she jump straight to talking about kids? Like, that’s a whole new fucking conversation ma’am.
Oooo, how very Sinister of an ending.

More HTDIO x H*R quotes
(My second set of Homestar Runner dialogue reassigned to How to Dance in Ohio characters. Because what's the point of having a small following on niche fandom Tumblr if you can't make even-more-niche crossover content?)
Mel: [home alone in full ADHD task paralysis] Aw, we need to figure out how to get some drinks. Like, without having to actually get some drinks.
[a flashback of Johanna recounting the moment she first thought that maybe her daughter should be assessed] Caroline (age 5): Oh, man. Those first four hundred bites of dirt were not so good. Maybe the next one will be better.
Tommy: Oh, that is IT, satellite phone. You’ve poked me for the last time. [chucks phone into ocean]
Marideth: Boy, did I pick the wrong hemisphere to aimlessly drift through this year.
[“So Much in Common” extended version] Drew: Marideth…your eyes…they flicker like a Sandalwood Sage Sunset. Your hair flows like fresh cotton linens, hung to dry on the deck. Grandma’s Apple Cinnamon Spice is the scented candle I would use to describe your mouth. And your nose: like an unscented emergency candle for when the power goes out...I don't know, this is wrong, this is weird, going poorly as I feared...
Remy: Oh hey, Dairy Queen. Jessica: I already told you, I don’t wanna be called that anymore. I made a mistake! Remy: Oh. Sorry, Dairy Queen.
Tommy: Can you write my Englilsh paper for me? I don’t even care if it’s good or not, I just don’t want to do it. Drew: Uh, I don’t think you have to worry about it being any good if you write it, Tommy. But I’ll take a crack at it.
[someone asks Mel to steal them an animal from Paws & Claws to save it from the horrors of the pet trade] Mel: I never pass up a chance to stick it to the man. Here ya go!
Michael: Have you been using the Internet irresponsibly? Marideth: Er…no more irresponsibly than usual.

★ QSMPBLR INTRODUCTION POST ★
Hello!! Welcome to this little town of ours!! You can call me Star or Remy and I use they/them pronouns!! (She/he is alright by me when it comes to other languages!) I am Salvadorian and I speak fluent Spanish and pretty good English!
Here on my blog I obviously talk + liveblog about q!Bad due to him being my main pov! These talks usually include things he has said, his grim reaper lore (because I adore it), his fashion if he wasn't wearing that hoodie/cloak of his (only as of recent but.) and more!! Also, I wouldn't say I'm an analyzer (?) but I do like pointing out random stuff and write up important quotes here and there!
Now onto other little things, I also talk about music and I'm planning on posting my list of.......100+ songs for .........q!Bad.........soon......... :D So don't ever hesitate to request some songs <3 I also sometimes draw art ^^ (mostly traditionally but I've been trying digital more recently!!) You may also see some reblogs of Ranboo or c!Bad or other stuff sprinkled in :D
Considering ships, I usually talk about, you guessed it, starhalo!!! (AND THE CROWD GOES WILD 🎉🎉🎉 WOOOOOOO 👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉). Reason? None, I just wanted to be silly and their relationship is really interesting to me <33 I also like throwing some skephalo/happyduo around here so don't be surprised if I start posting about them too :D

TBT memory to the time I was madly in love with this Gambit concept image and wrote a crappy fic based off of it in a real notebook, not on the computer. (It's from Wizard World Magazine's special X-Men issue back in the early 2000s. Probably 2003 or so.) Doubtful I still have the notebook, but it'd be so cringe if I did.
If anyone's not a giant nerd like me, this is one of several different X-Men concepts that WW asked a comic book artist (I can't remember which one.) to portray. Two I know we eventually got were Emma Frost and Gambit.
Funny part is, he looks like a clean-shaven Nick Bateman to me, just with longer hair. For a drawing, that's some killer cheekbones/jawline. I love the roseyness to his face.
Pinterest
Can't remember the exact quote and I'm too lazy to go get the magazine from my comic book collection, but some higher-up said they would've designed him to be a bit taller and more muscular (I think? I would not complain if he were!!) some other stuff. Like, dude, this is Nick Bateman's version of Gambit, easily, sans bike. (Remy is usually 6'1-6'2, Nick is freaking 6'4.) Nick also has tats IRL. I don't like, but just pointing it out.
Picture from:
Gambit screenshots, images and pictures - Comic Vine (gamespot.com)
Maybe if I get some energy/time, I'll scan in my copy so we can all enjoy it as a larger pic. ((commence drooling.)) Edit: I also drew it. Don't know if I still have that drawing or not, but I went through a phase where I put it and other fan art up on my wall, I think? Or maybe I'm mis-remembering. I don't think I was THAT brave as a teenager to just put a shirtless guy on my wall. (That came later in my mid 20s, another dumb, DUMB phase. I was stuuuupid.)

Books and movies of 2024
My new year's resolution for 2024 was to write down every book, movie, short story, TV show, podcast, and video game I experienced and my reactions to them. It is a LONG list, but I want to share at least the books and movies, at least the ones I actually finished. Under the cut:
The Well of Loneliness by Radclyffe Hall (1928) - Heavily recommended. Really good book. There were certain bits that just hit me like a punch in the gut because of how close to home they were. Things like, oh, I've experienced that exact same emotion or thought process or gender angst. Really good book.
A Story of the Days to Come by H. G. Wells (1899) - I love old weird future stories. The factory that completely lacks automation. The only mental health treatment is hypnotism but that's fine because it works perfectly.
Radioactive Dreams (1984) - The soundtrack for this movie is soso good. I keep listening to the songs over and over and watching this movie got me into Sue Saad. The movie itself is also really fun. I keep thinking about the scene in the bunker where the Philip and Marlowe are arguing about whether their dads are dead.
The Death of Grass by John Christopher (1956) - I did not enjoy this book. It's poorly written and the environmental angle is unconvincing.
The Expanse series by James A. Corey (Leviathan Wakes, Caliban's War, Abaddon's Gate, Cibola Burn, Nemesis Games, Babylon's Ashes, Persepolis Rising, Tiamat's Wrath, Leviathan Falls) (2011-2022) - The first book is a little eh, but the rest of the series is so great! Best space opera I've read in a while. I am especially impressed by the way the authors managed to stick the ending, which is HARD when it comes to a series like this. It's a little funny how the book where the Earth is decimated by space rocks manages to feel like a breather episode. I want to watch the TV adaptation this year.
The Accursed Vampire by Madeline McGrane (@tomb-of-madeline) (2021) - Reread. It's a cute/melancholy/funny book! I love vampire stories and this is a nice twist on the usual. The art is so nice!
Shazam: Fury of the Gods (2023) - Kind of a standard superhero movie. I enjoyed it! I don't remember the first movie well enough to say whether it's better or worse, but I enjoyed it! The ending was super lame though.
S/He by Minnie Bruce Pratt (1995) - I was recommended this as, quote, "the femme version of Stone Butch Blues." That is a completely inaccurate representation of this book BUT it's still very good.
Altered Carbon by Richard K. Morgan (2002) - Every single cyberpunk and/or noir cliche is in this book. The plot is ridiculously convoluted. It's great! Sort of reminded me of a grittier version of Hopscotch.
920London by Remy Boydell (2020) - I actually didn't take any notes on this and I don't remember it well. However, since it's by Remy Boydell I feel confident saying the art is likely really good.
Hidden Empire by Kevin J. Anderson (2002) - Reread. I was SO into this series in middle/high school and it was formative to my love of overconvoluted space opera with dozens of characters and half as many plotlines. There's some really good stuff in there but unfortunately does not hold up as well as I wanted it to :( Mainly the politics.
The Book of the New Sun series by Gene Wolfe (The Shadow of the Torturer, The Claw of the Conciliator, The Sword of the Lictor, The Citadel of the Autarch) (1980-1983) - Godddddd these are so good. I love the worldbuilding, the dialogue, the narrator, the language. It's kind of grimy and unpleasant in ways but you may know that I love when fiction is grimy and unpleasant in ways.
↑ This sentence made me actually snort out loud.
Electric Dreams (1984) - Good movie. The editing is super cool especially in the computer sequences. I think I already posted about this before but Edgar got done so dirty in this. Nothing was his fault #JusticeForEdgar
Steven Universe: The Movie (2019) - Rewatch, obviously. What is there to say?
Dust by Hugh Howey (2013) - I liked it! The ending was kind of pat and I have sooooo many unanswered questions but it was very well written. Super tense. Unsure why it took me so long after the first ones to finish the series.
The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, Edward Fitzgerald translation (1859) - I was actually kind of underwhelmed. This is probably because all the best parts have been quoted and borrowed so many times that there are no surprises left! Very good, just overexposed. Many of the verses I'd heard before were unattributed and I didn't know until now this was the source.
Hijab Butch Blues: A Memoir by Lamya H (2023) - Very evocative writing. Really good memoir.
Seven Days in May (1964) - This drags at points, but it's a solid political thriller. Has some good dry humor, as well as some unintentionally funny moments. The senator from Georgia is the best character in the movie.
Jonathon Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach (1970) - This is another one of those where I wonder why it took me this long to get to. I can't really say anything new about it, except that my copy is an old edition that I got free because it was mangled and covered in coffee stains which really adds to it. Good book, recommended.
The Education of Hyman Kaplan by Leonard Q. Ross (1937) - Reread. Written in a surprisingly modern style, you can sort of forget it was written in the 1930s except for the parts where it is extremely 1930s. The accents are spelled phonetically, but in this case I defend the decision.
The Education of Robert Nifkin by Daniel Pinkwater (1998) - I will not repeat my "Daniel Pinkwater is one of my favorite authors" spiel here. This is a good book. It is not his best book. The end twist is genuinely funny but also kind of sad. Here is the post I made after reading it the first time. I don't mention the Neddiad or the rest of that series in the post because those were written afterwards, but there's a conversation to be had about a relation there as well.
Mrs Searwood's Secret Weapon by Leonard Wibberly (1954) - This book combines a lot of my personal favorite things (ghosts, farce, smalltown drama, old ladies doing ludicrous stunts), and it's very funny. I liked it a lot.
TMWWWBSASATWI: An Illustrated Novella by "beany tuesday" (@beanytuesday) (2021) - Good, weird, bittersadsweet. I'm still thinking about this one.
School of Rock (2003) - Mostly very funny, kinda predictable but what can you do and the music wasn't bad either. Kid actors did a good job.
Lucifer's Hammer by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle (1977) - I still can't decide whether I like this or not. The character work (the ones that aren't complete caricatures) is really good. The actual disaster and the immediate aftermath are the best parts, the ending and the battle are the weakest. I think you could read this book and stop right after the tidal wave and it would be fine.
Lupin the 3rd (2019) - This is a good movie! It's a very different take on the Lupin characters, to the point where I think it may have been a stronger movie if it was just its own thing but if they did that I probably wouldn't have watched it, so. It is very funny and very fun and you don't need about the franchise to enjoy it. Recommended.
The Masquerade series by Seth Dickinson (The Traitor Baru Cormorant, The Monster Baru Cormorant, The Tyrant Baru Cormorant) (2015-2018, unfinished) - These are so good. These are so good! THIS is the lesbian literature I want. I love suffering closeted butches having bad sex and only terrible girlfriend options and mental illness and destroying the world. The worldbuilding is exquisite. The politics are so good. Sort of funny this is the second book I've read recently where a gay character almost dies of meningitis. Is that a thing now.
The Killing of Sister George (1968) - It's kind of funny that this is all you had to get a X rating in 1968, but also kind of sad. This is a homophobic movie, and it's a sad movie. I enjoyed it.
The Question of Palestine by Edward Said (1979) - Obviously, this not an up-to-date book, but it is straightforward and focuses a lot on the history and the reason things happened/are happening. It's informative and well-written.
How To Die on the Planet Earth by beanytuesday (@beanytuesday, again) (2020) - This is another one that's scratched its way into my brain and won't get out. I was never able to predict where the story was going, and I did not like the ending. In a good way though? It was satisfyingly unsatisfying.
Can't We Talk About Something More Pleasant?: A Memoir by Roz Chast (2014) - Reread. I've been rereading this about every six months since [life event] and it still gutpunches me every time. Very good book.
Take Me To Your President by Leonard Wibberly (1957) - This is okay. It's not his best book, but it's not his worst book. The only scenes that really stick out to me as I'm thinking about it are the ones with the Prime Minister near the beginning, which are pretty funny.
The Afterlife Diet by Daniel Pinkwater (1995) - Reread. I liked it much better on reread than the first time I read it. I think it's much more interesting in the context of his other books, because he deals with topics he's dealt with before, but in a VERY different way. The plot is sort of scattered and the supernatural elements come in a little late to be convincing but overall it is a good book.
On Basilisk Station by David Weber (1993) - I tried really hard to enjoy this, but it's a total slog. Honor is a great character and she deserves to be in a better book. I may try one of the later books in the series, to see if they improve or not.
Elvira: Mistress of the Dark (1988) - Not a masterpiece by any means but a really fun movie! The sight gags are pretty good and the special effects are better than expected.
Ninefox Gambit by Yoon Ha Lee (2016) - Some of the worldbuilding passed me by, but I loved the character work. The author really knows how to build tension and set a scene. Super dense, which is a compliment in this circumstance.
Alan Mendelsohn, the Boy from Mars by Daniel Pinkwater (1983) - Reread. I have read this book so many so many times. It is formative to me. I mentally quote it all the time. I like it a lot.
Lost Continents: The Atlantis Theme in History, Science, and Literature by L. Sprague De Camp (1954) - This is a very informative book, if you want to learn about the historical and literary origins of the Atlantis story and associated conspiracy theories. However, the author uncritically repeats as facts or at least reasonable speculation several related conspiracy theories and pseudoscientific idea. The Atlantis information is good, but take everything else with a lot of skepticism.
Stolen Lupin (2004) - This is a good Lupin movie. It is super funny, lots of physical humor, and balances the time well between the characters. The plot is nothing special but it is a good time.
Graustark: The Story of a Love Behind a Throne by George Barr McCutcheon (1901) - Romance is not my genre, but I enjoyed this. It's a surprisingly funny book.
Return of the Magician (2002) - This movie sucks. Bad movie.
Strange Psychokinetic Strategy (1974) - Rewatch. I love a farce. I love this movie. It's not a good movie, but I enjoy it every time. Sex jokes, slapstick, situation comedy.
Will Destroy the Galaxy for Cash by Yahtzee Croshaw (2020) - I liked this a lot, definitely more than the first book. It has some of the same issues in regards to pacing but is much less of a straightforward parody. There are some genuinely good plot twists and the style has improved a lot.
The Wandering Earth by Liu Cixin (2021) - This is an anthology. My favorite stories were "The China Sun" and "Cannonball." "With Her Eyes" also deserves a mention for being completely terrifying.
Beverly of Graustark (1926) - This is a good, funny, movie. I love old-timey crossdressing stories, I love royal nonsense, I love assassination attempts. I don't buy the romance because Beverly is insane and the guy should be running for his life, but it is hilarious to watch.
Ducks: Two Years in the Oil Sands by Kate Beaton (2022) - I liked this a lot. I've never read any of Beaton's non-comedic work before, and it's very good. I gave this to my mom and she loved it. Talked my ear off about it.
Long Way Down: The Graphic Novel by Jason Reynolds (2020) - I didn't take any notes on this one, but I remember being really impressed by the art. It's very evocative and a very good use of watercolor.
The Crossroads at Midnight by Abby Howard (2021) - Another anthology. None of the stories really scared me, but "Kindred Spirits" will stick for a while. Art is gross in a very cool way.
Sunbelt Blues: The Failure of American Housing by Andrew Ross (2021) - I used to know a guy named Andrew Ross closely enough that I immediately looked him up when I got this book. The author is a different guy though, just happens to have the same name. It's a very good book, well researched, sympathetic, and an engaging writing style.
The High Desert by James Spooner (2022) - Really good memoir.
Policing the City: An Ethno-Graphic by Didier Fassin (2022) - This is a really interesting format for an ethnography, and there is a great forward that goes into detail about some of the choices, which is interesting both by itself but also because I like to hear authors justify their decisions.
Banned Books Club by Kim Hyun Sook (2020) - This book was so hyped up that I think I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't spent years hearing how good it was. That said, it was a good book and I did enjoy it. I did not like the art style, which seemed pretty dissonant with the story, but that could have been on purpose.
Skim by Mariko and Jillian Tamaki (2008) - I didn't take any notes on this one and I don't recall reading it at all. Sorry.
Danse Macabre: An Essential Overview of the Horror Genre by Stephen King (1981) - I disagree with a lot of the things King says in this book, but it's really interesting as an overview and he isn't a half bad nonfiction writer.
What is Extinction? A Natural and Cultural History of Last Animals by Joshua Schuster (2023) - This is dense but it's worth it. The specific selection of topics was frustrating in places, but given the depth each section got in, I understand why a lot of things were just not brought up. Recommended.
Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin (1967) - I don't know why everyone focuses on the devil stuff when the actual horror of the book is her husband. You can tell it was written by same guy who did The Stepford Wives, there are a lot of parallelisms and similar themes.
The Quest of Excalibur by Leonard Wibberley (1959) - This is a really quintessential Wibberley book. I thought it was really funny, and a good comedic take on "King Arthur returns" stories. Could have done better at establishing the fact it takes place in the future; I was wondering when the heck there was a Queen Maud.
The Greymare Romance by Edwin John Ellis (1891) - Does this even count as a book? I'm including it because I liked it a lot. It's cute.
The Mouse That Roared (1959) - Rewatch. Still a really funny movie. The romance plotline was pretty awful - the romance in the book was much better but I can sort of see why they changed it. I don't think it was a good decision, but I can see why they made it. The bit with the "Diplomacy" boardgame gets me every time, I wish it was a real game so I could play it.
Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe (2014) - Reread. I have such intensely mixed feeling about this book and they get weirder every time I read it. On a purely objective level, it is a good book.
Sandy Hook: An American Tragedy and the Battle for Truth by Elizabeth Williamson (2023) - Very well written, respectful account. The variety of sources the author got is impressive.
Through the Woods by Emily Carroll (2014) - More horror short stories! The first one did not do much for me, but all the rest were terrifying. The art style is really good, and I love her use of black fields and negative space.
The Curious Human Knee by Han Yu (2023) - This was alright. The concept was better than the execution but I enjoyed reading it and I think I learned a lot. However, I did spot a couple of inaccuracies so it may be best to take with a grain of salt.
The Gospel of Wellness: Gyms, Gurus, Goop and the Promise of Self Care by Rina Raphael (2022) - This was okay. It was informative. I have issues with the prose and the way the author presents herself, but I am neither the target audience nor one of the people the book is about.
The Dreamer Trilogy series by Maggie Stiefvater (Call Down the Hawk, Mister Impossible) (2019-2021) - Haven't read the third book yet. Very good, exciting, confusing. Declan is my favorite character I think. Have not been taken so hard sideways by the ending of a novel since Horus Rising.
The Wednesday Tales series by Jon Berkeley (The Palace of Laughter, The Tiger's Egg, The Lightning Key) (2006-2009) - Reread. I read the first book around the end of 2023. These are solid middle-grade fantasy novels and they stuck with me long enough to want to reread as an adult. Confusing worldbuilding, interesting ideas and characters. Very clearly written by a man who has never unpacked a stereotype in his life.
Josie and the Pussycats (2001) - I don't actually remember watching this.
My Little Pony: The Movie (2017) - Cute story, animation was good, music was underwhelming for a theatrical movie. There were better songs in the show. Watched with friends, which was pretty funny because one person kept saying "Fuck Pinkie Pie, Pinkie Pie is so stupid" and everyone else was like "NO!"
Corner Gas: The Movie (2014) - Really good! Really funny, good continuation for the series. The horse subplot and the casino subplot 100% felt like ideas they had for the show but couldn't do on a TV budget.
The Nice Guys (2016) - Rewatch. I actually love this movie. It's so fucking funny.
Wolfwalkers (2020) - Rewatch. The art in this movie is so textured and lush. It's beautiful.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023) - Perfectly serviceable action movie. All the robot dialogue is so hacky and overdrawn it becomes very funny, especially contrasted to Mirage who is the only one who talks like a normal person.
Billy Budd by Herman Melville (1891) - Very good book. Melville's prose is often an obstacle, but once you get into the rhythm I actually like it. Another one I keep thinking about.
The Three Stooges (2012) - I did not think I would like this movie but I liked this movie. It's really funny. Impeccably cast. My favorite bits were the dynamite one and salmon farming one.
Transformers One (2024) - Good movie. Good animation.
Wicked (2024) - I don't even have to say anything about this. Dancing Through Life was my favorite number, I loved the skating on the books.
Mean Girls (2024) - This was too close to the original to be an effective adaptation for me. The music was also sort of underwhelming, but it wasn't bad.
Lupin III vs Detective Conan (2009) - Good movie. Not spectacular, but solid. I don't know anything about Detective Conan other than the Lupin crossovers, but the story was great and I wasn't confused about who anyone was. Fujiko was awesome in this.
Rockula (2000) - Rewatch. Much better the second time. The music is really good and as mentioned, I love nonstandard vampire stories. They kill a guy and leave him at the club.
I Love Melvin (1953) - Bad movie. I'm fairly certain this was a contract movie that no one involved with cared much about, since it wouldn't take a lot of effort to make it a good movie. I know how exactly I would do it. The script feels like a first draft and it is very short, even with a bunch of random extended dance numbers to pad it out.
The Last Delivery by Evan Dahm (2024) - Good. Hell of a downer ending, but that's why they call it the horror genre. Had to put it down in a few parts because it made my stomach hurt. Good book.
Whatever Happened to Aunt Alice? (1969) - Rewatch. One of my absolute favorite movies! Highly recommended. Psychological horror but not really gory, lots of twists and clues, the acting is phenomenal. Does not pass a reverse Bechdel test, which I find hysterical. The gay tension between the female leads is off the charts. Every time I watch it I notice something new.

Okay, I have now invested nearly two hours in the podcast + 20 minutes getting my thoughts down. I know I’m late and we’ve all moved on, but I’m sending this out there anyhow because damn it.
Some scattered thoughts—
There was plenty of stuff that we’ve heard a hundred times by now but that reminded me why I follow this very pleasant dude. As always, I really like that he’s always trying to be grateful for opportunities and the life he’s lucked into, and I appreciate the humility that he shows when he’s talking about working in service to the team and the scene, and that it’s important to leave vanity at the door. It’s not all about him, he says. Even throwing that kind of idea out there is admirable.
We again hear about how he jumps in to new experiences solely because they peak his interest and he thinks they will challenge him. It’s hard to tell whether Tom’s insistence that he’s in it primarily for the personal growth is genuine, or whether that’s a kind of rationalization of several poorly-received project choices, and I’m not sure Tom himself could answer, but regardless it’s a good attitude. Sorry to the fan contingent that’s obsessed with awards and accolades; they’re going to stay losing as he leans more and more into these personal growth principles, I suspect.
One of the most interesting parts to me: At one point, Tom talks about discovering in an elementary school yearbook that he had said back then that he wanted to be an actor when he grew up. I found that notable because part of his brand/public persona (see paragraph above) is that he’s very ambivalent about his success, and that ambivalence rests atop a narrative that he has always been sort of nonchalant about his acting career, even that he sort of stumbled into it, that he’s never been very ambitious, and that he could give it all up on a dime. He’s been telling a version of this story/creating this brand for nearly ten years now, and when he’s surprised by the yearbook quot. he seems to reveal that he’s bought into his own marketing!
In his defense, I think it must be hard to be asked all the time to narrate your own life—to put it into a coherent story—and keep a hold on all the nuance and contradictions that actually make up a life.
Annoying part: While I agree that it’s in all of our interests to reject the cult of busyness, I find praising Tom Holland for taking a year+ vacation to be a little tiresome. Like okay. In my opinion, it’s when he sounds the most rich and privileged and out of touch with those who aren’t.
The hair decisions continue to be perplexing to me. I’m not sure what he thought the Danny bangs were doing. I know he says he got this great advice from Jake that new looks create distance, but the bangs were seriously so bad that they were distracting. Sometimes you don’t want to be thinking about the actor and what he did to his hair. Maybe that’s what the cinematographer was getting at. And the Caesar cut it also bad; I’m sorry to Caesar Tom lovers. That said, I enjoyed his mischievous “I’m not going to do what they tell me to,” and also the little aside that Zendaya still thought he was handsome during TCR filming. Okay Tom.
I found the Marvel part cringey, but tbf I find Marvel cringy in general. I’m glad it feels to him like a little community that nurtures all of its members, but there are plenty of toxic elements, not least the exploitation of the VFX people, and you have to have your head buried pretty far in the sand to disregard them. (I thought Tom supported the little guy?)
I LOL’d/cried: “Do you guys have The Apprentice in America?” 💀
I wish he wouldn’t be so cryptic about Spiderman, but I guess that’s the studio’s fault. Glad he saw a script he and Zendaya liked, but, let’s be honest, I’m not sure if those two’s imprimaturs bode well or horribly for the actual quality of the script😭
Bero: did anyone else feel uncomfortable when Rich Roll was talking about how he doesn’t usually drink non-alcoholic beer because it reminds him too much of a time when he had a drinking problem? I was like, guy, you don’t have to try this. Don’t do it.
Nice that Tom found a side hustle that’s meaningful to him! It seems to me to be the exact right product for his personal brand. Good for him, and I hope it’s successful.
I would love to read your opinion. I find you very thoughtful and one of the few blogs open to criticizing. I miss reading you.
Aw thank you! Maybe I will listen, in that case <3
