Nayeon squinted at her computer screen, reading the words in front of her again carefully to make sure she hadn’t misunderstood. 

“The AI allegations? Why the fuck is she talking about that?” Nayeon leaned back in her office chair for a moment in disbelief, the online article she’d been reading still displayed on her desktop monitor. “That fucking journalist, doing exactly as I asked her not to…” The Alpha let out a frustrated huff, resting her chin in her hand for a moment while she thought. “And only someone with exceptionally shitty media training would even think of saying– ” she sat up straight suddenly, cutting off her own thoughts. “Oh…” She reached for the corded phone on her desk and quickly punched a few numbers in. She hit the speaker button, then sat back and waited. 

The phone rang. And rang. Nayeon sighed, fidgeting with the hair tie pulling back her long, light brown hair. “I know you’re in the office, Myoui,” she said under her breath. Finally, the other end picked up. 

“Ah, Nayeon…”

“Mina! I thought you might be in today,” Nayeon said, mustering up a fake, cheerful tone. “The article is out,” she said pointedly, drumming her fingers on her desk slowly. “Have you seen it?”

The woman on the other end cleared her throat uncomfortably. “Yes,” she said, her voice dropping in volume. 

“You know, I liked it,” Nayeon said, nodding her head as if Mina could see her on the other end of the line. “Until I saw the headline. And the first paragraph. And the way the entire article got derailed by the one thing I made that reporter swear up and down they wouldn’t bring up. Tell me there’s no way you’d comment on our competitor’s deep legal shit when your gaming company is doing bigger, better things, right? You wouldn’t comment, not when you’ve been working for the past four years to get this game– this particular game that you first started dreaming of creating in high school– out the door, right?” Nayeon paused for just a moment in case Mina wanted to get a word in, but the other end of her line was dead silent. 

Nayeone exhaled  sharply. “Instead of building hype for the game, now all anyone’s going to notice is the fact that you’re quoted in here saying…” The Alpha swiveled back over to her computer screen. “And this is your direct quote, Myoui: ‘Only someone as naive as PixelPulse’s CEO [Jeon Wonwoo] would have been stupid enough to believe he’d never get caught cutting corners by only using AI instead of real humans to test gameplay analytics and user interface’,” Nayeon read. “‘AI doesn’t test play with epileptic people in mind and now they’re the ones paying the price. I don’t know what’s more embarrassing, the fact that it happened in the first place, or that he hasn’t resigned yet,’” she let out a quick sigh after she finished the last line of the quote. “Mina,” Nayeon said exasperatedly, “You wouldn’t believe the numbers those quotes of yours are doing online right now. Can you please tell me what happened when you spoke with the reporter?”

Nayeon could hear Mina’s rapidly growing panic on the other line, as if she was just hearing for the first time what had been printed. “I- we were just chatting casually at the start of the interview... I didn’t think she would remember–” 

A beeping sound cut off the end of Mina’s sentence. 

“Shit,” Nayeon said, holding her head in her hand and rubbing her forehead. “I have the SVP of Strategic Comms on the other line. Don’t leave for the day until we connect again,” Nayeon said, then hung up her call with Mina. She took a deep breath, steeling herself for a moment, then hit accept on the call waiting.

 An hour later, one of the worst press team calls of Nayeon’s career was over. She had survived, but barely. When it ended, she kept her office door shut and closed her window blinds slowly. She slowly paced around the rectangular room and stress-cried for a few minutes, allowing herself to sit in her overwhelm and frustration. When she’d had enough, she sat down in her office chair and pulled out her phone, swiping through her apps for a moment. She tapped on one of her favorites: an app connected to the doggy cam she had set up so she could check in on her beloved furry source of joy, Kookeu.

She smiled as the tiny pomeranian’s image came up on her phone screen. The dogwalker always left him with a food puzzle after his afternoon walk, and as expected, Kookeu was up and walking around in the kitchen, using his nose and paws to roll a round, purple food toy that dispensed individual bits of kibble when they fell through the holes at just the right angle. He got one out, and Nayeon turned up the volume to hear the tiny crunching noises Kookeu made as he ate it. 

She sighed softly, satisfied that at least someone’s day was going well, and closed the app. Then Nayeon got up. It was time to speak with her new full-time press project: Wide-Eyed Variant Gaming Founder and Director of Engineering, Myoui Mina. 

The farther Nayeon got away from the “hands-off” side of the company’s building and closer to the side Mina frequented, she noticed a severe spike in the number of monitors people had on their desks. It was well after 5:00 now, but she was relieved to see the lights still on in Mina’s large corner office. Relieved– but weirdly nervous. She didn’t like needing to track people down or give feedback people didn’t want to hear. And Mina’s elusive, quiet temperament made it somehow harder. 

She knocked lightly on the open office door. “Mina,” she said, letting herself in. “Thank you for sticking around. I’m sorry for being so…high strung earlier.”

Mina looked up from her four screen display nervously despite also brimming with annoyance. She couldn’t believe this day: to be the founder of her own company and yet now, in this moment, she felt more like a student that had been asked to stay after class. 

To her credit, the Japanese woman was brilliant, and she and Nayeon both knew it. Mina had received her bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s in software engineering from some of the best programs internationally; she was a gamer from the moment she developed consciousness, really. She made the papers when she launched her company, Wide-Eyed Variants, fresh out of undergrad from her childhood home, and made headlines again when she was still able to be the director of its engineering department while going back to school full-time for her master’s. 

She’d been profiled a few times by both gaming and arts and culture outlets, had hit a number of 30 under 30 lists, and even had a few op-eds ghostwritten for her in household name outlets like Forbes and The New York Times. The games Wide-Eyed Variant produced were so popular today that they hardly needed any advertising. Even other game series with heavy cult followings like The Legend of Zelda and Animal Crossing always fell short of the consumer-related numbers Wide-Eyed Variant could pull. And from the outside, she made her journey and career look totally effortless. It was no wonder she was considered a person of interest and expert in the gaming field, and that journalists constantly wanted to talk to her. But that’s why Nayeon was here. Mina’s only downfall was the media and being in the spotlight. The Japanese Alpha often got nervous while being interviewed. There was something so scary about consenting to being “on the record” to her, and even though she wasn’t a huge talker, any sign of the little red recording button tended to make her a little too chatty. 

Mina did her best to push her anxious thoughts away and braced herself for what Nayeon would have to say about it all.

“Relax, we’re fixing this,” Nayeon said, as if reading Mina’s mind. She closed Mina’s office door behind her and took a seat in one of the tan leather chairs reserved for guests across from Mina’s desk. “Crisis comms is doing damage control online and legal is working overtime in case PixelPulse comes for us with a defamation or libel case. But you should know…” Nayeon leaned in a little, her face becoming serious. “General Counsel Park Jihyo told me to tell you she’s actually going to need to speak with you like, immediately. She’s on her way down right now, she said this just couldn’t be done over the phone.”

Mina nearly jumped out of her chair. “WHAT??” 

Nayeon’s face broke into a grin and she crossed her arms. “So worth it,” she said to herself. Then, looking up at Mina, she said, “Ah, I’m sorry, that was a bad joke. I promise Counsel Park isn’t storming down here right now.” 

Mina let out a shaky breath, crumpling a bit in her seat. “What the hell, Nayeon! Don’t do that.”

Nayeon chuckled. “I won’t do it again,” she said, her smile slowly fading. “You’re safe from her wrath of legalese, but you’re not safe from me. Strategic Comms wants you to go through media training.” 

Mina couldn’t help but make a face. Hadn’t she done enough of that? ��But… I already did…” 

Nayeon nodded. “Yes, you did. But that was before I joined this company. And I’m sure the training you had with whoever back then was fine. They just want you to…” Nayeon uncrossed her arms and waved her hand. “You know, refresh a few skills, maybe learn a new one or two. Plus, this will give me a chance to make sure the rest of my comms and digital teams have the most accurate sense of your voice going forward.” 

“Oh please,” Mina said, unable to hide her annoyance anymore. “Everyone is overreacting, I’m not that bad, really! This instance was– this—” 

Nayeon let out a laugh. “You’ve lost your privileges to say you’re ‘not that bad.’ At least not until we get you a better quote in another outlet,” she said. “Look, just a few media training sessions with me, and then Strategic Comms will get off my back, and I’ll get off yours. Okay?” 

Mina fought the urge to roll her eyes. “Why does it feel like I don’t actually have a choice in this?” 

Nayeon offered a weak smile. “Because you don’t. But thank you for being so willing.” Nayeon stood up, pushing in her chair as she turned to leave. “I spoke to your scheduler, by the way,” she said, opening the office door. “Plan on getting a few calendar invites from me soon.”

Mine is also a p2 (to Ten & One) and the hurt/comfort is over yn being unable to conceive so there's and theres prett obvious smut so HAHAH

Lies Are Treason is very much hurt/comfort with some angst ig BUT IT HAS SMUT

Stone Cold is really angsty and im only adding it cos there's a smudge of like hurt/comfort there HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH but its imo one of the more tragic tales ive written AHAHHAAHHAHA

All the windows on the Hospital's third floor cracked and exploded into a thousand pieces with a burst of blue light behind them. The rest of the building trembled to the beat of sobs and laments that echoed with anguish, within the hospital. Some of the hallways even stayed without lighting for a couple of seconds. The wails of sadness and desperation reminiscent of a ghost or a haunted mansion.

But there was no demon or monster on the inside.

Just a poor and broken soul with no relief.

A wizard that had misplaced liberty.

A boy that had lost everything.

Some of the personnel had to hold on to a piece of furniture or a wall due to the impact. Dr. Velasquez stepped back as the wave made him retreat.

But Dr. Lake-

She wrapped the wizard between her arms and cradled him against her chest into a hug.

Douxie didn't fight it.

Actually, Douxie did not move at all.

He let the woman move his hands around her neck and even allowed her to run her fingers through his hair. A soft and calming coo came through Barbara's lips in an attempt to calm him.

A few members of the hospital entered “alarmed” into the room; one even had a syringe in their hands with some sedative, just in case. But it was late, Ms. Lake had already taken charge of the situation, comforting the boy in her arms.

Douxie finally responded to the hug, grasping pieces of the doctor’s coat between his fingers. The wizard screamed and groaned until his lungs couldn't continue with more. He left sobs and regrets slip from his lips.

Even on the outside, people were able to hear him.

Claire's heart struggled when the wails reached her ears. Jim felt the tightness on his hands when Claire squeezed him.

It reminded her of "La llorona".

Douxie must have finally woken up.

It was not the first time they had to rebuild Arcadia -and surely, it wouldn't be the last- so as always, the people of the town just ignored the fight among celestial demigods, trolls, or whatever-magic-being had attacked the city this time and focused on the getting back to their "normal" routine.

But, being honest, even when the buildings were raised again and looked barely new, it didn't feel the same. At least, not for the trollhunters team.

It was hard, spending a lot of time on the hospital, getting used to the flat white color of the walls, and the antibiotic-alcohol smell. It was just a lot.

Douxie was transferred from the ER to a rehabilitation center two days after he woke.

The new place was different. To say something.

The walls of the hallways among bedrooms were colored in beautiful pastel tones, each corridor was marked by a different color, there were playrooms, recreation rooms, a cafeteria, the exercise-rehabilitation gym, and even a pool for those that required aqua therapy -Douxie included- but even with the fancy installations and shiny colors, it still felt like some kind of hospital.

The uniforms were the same as the nurses from the hospital, and the way everyone talked to him made Douxie feel like an elder. An actual elder. It was as if the weight of his 920 years was finally having some effect on his body

Hisirdoux did not want to talk, he didn't even take the trouble to respond to the greetings of his personal nurses, that each morning asked him how he was feeling, and what he wanted for breakfast. He just stayed there, frowning with his crossing arms. He also looked away when they tried to convince him to eat something.

He didn't even talk to the team.

It was becoming tedious. They tried to visit him every day, but he didn't even looked at them. The moment they crossed through the door, he rolled his eyes and looked away, he would turn in the bed to face his back to them, but well... he couldn't move. At least, not yet without help.

And that was ever more frustrating.

That day his hope was on the floor, and he had absolutely no patience to hear the team again, so without even moving his hand, or pronouncing a single word, he casted a spell. The pillows on the sofa near his bed brightened in a strong blue, before flying into the faces of the kids that had just entered to the room.

"Dude" Steve screamed while the pillows forced him all the way out.

"Douxie-" Claire tried to hold on the door, but before she could put a foot back in the room again, the soap and shampoo of the bathroom rushed flying to her forehead. 10 points, straight to the witch’s white hair, or at least that would have been if she hadn't opened a shadow portal just in time to avoid the hit.

"Hey!" Jim turned to him, seconds before the door smacked right on his face. Lake stepped back almost losing balance. They heard a click, and then the entrance was closed. "Are you okay?" Jim looked at Claire.

Aja crossed her arms while Claire nodded to her boyfriend.

"So mean-"

"It’s not the first time" A nurse said from behind them. The black lady pointed at the wall behind them, and they were able to see a few marks of- What was that? "He likes throwing cleaning stuff at the wall- and us. We are actually considering removing his privilege of own personal cleaning products. Maybe we will use liquid soap. But yet, he keeps playing with the bottles Your friend is not very talkative, is he?".

Actually, he was.

The lady made a gesture with the hand to ask Jim to move away. The trollhunter did so, and the woman walked to the door.

"Uh- Miss? I think it’s-" Toby did not finish his warning about the closed door, the lady instead took out a set of keys from her pocket, and introduced it to the latch. She opened the door.

"We have already talked about this, Casperan. You can't keep throwing stuff on the ceiling." Her authoritative tone made the rest uncomfortable. "Maybe you should go". The lady turned to them with a sweet tone and a warm smile "He's kind of moody today- and he does not like visits when he's moody" Another floating soap was thrown to the wall. "Hey! Stop it! Right now!" She glared at the wizard, while the rest followed her advice, and left.

Another bad day.

"So- what made you so angry today, hu?" Sabrina -that was her name- saved the keys while approaching him. "Aw, man. You didn't even touch your breakfast again."

Hisirdoux snorted.

"Maybe you'll finally eat something at the noon" She smiled, but as always, got no answer. "Are you ready to turn around?" Sabrina took a pillow from the closet and left it on the bed.

The lady looked at the cat a few feet from her, and slowly smiled.

"This is not going to be comfortable" She warned -but Archie didn't knew if it was directed to him or Douxie-.

Then, she rotated the wizard to his side, before positioning the pillow behind his back to keep him from rolling back. She then grabbed another pillow and placed it between the boy's legs. Douxie groaned.

"I told you it was not going to be comfortable"

"It never is," he mumbled a little.

"What was that? You finally speak? OMG, I was afraid that you were mute. Thanks the lord," she joked. "Well, Mr. Grumpy man, I'm going to comeback in a few hours to roll you back."

"Whatever."

Archie looked at her from behind Hisirdoux, and mouthed a "Thank you" to her. The familiar knew his human could be hard sometimes, especially since the news. But Archie couldn't do anything but stay by his side, even when he was acting like a child, throwing things at everyone else.

Yeah, it was not correct, and that was not the manners that he had taught Douxie, but Archie refrained from commenting, and that nurse kept being sweet with them even with that attitude because both saw what nobody else did.

When the visiting hours end and the light from the hallways was reduced, during the silent and cold nights, Hisirdoux talks.

Maybe he did not show emotion through the day, but when nobody is watching but Archie, he lets them run until the breaking point. Each night, Douxie cried his soul. He cursed and swore with words, while fat tears rolls from his eyes. He forced the wails to stay inside his chest, but inevitably some sobs came out.

Archie is always awake, always on his side, purring to his chest.

Sabrina -the nurse- one night heard him cry. She didn't say anything, but stayed outside his room for hours, listening to each of the wizard’s words. The way he prayed among tears for help, for someone to save him from the suffering, from the pain. He begged for Archie's forgiveness because he didn't think himself strong enough to continue living, to survive the fear. Each time he closed his eyes he remembered the fall, the feeling of his life leaving his body, and he couldn't hold on for much longer. He wanted to throw the towel, he wanted to die. So he begged Archie to forgive him because he was going to leave him because he was not strong enough.

He was not.

BORROWER ART FREAKS you'll see what I mean

Janis made her way through the walls. There was a feeling of serenity in the air. It was early in the morning and the air felt fresh even from her path in the walls. Damian wasn't up yet and it was a lazy Sunday in the Heron household so Janis planned to grab some basics before everyone got up. 

She slipped outside. You're supposed to borrow with a partner, especially outdoors, and she can already hear Damian giving out to her about it but through the years she had learned the grounds well. From the big stone where she fell and broke her leg to the base of the willow tree where Damian found her. Abandoned by her roommates, kicked out of the only place she could call home.

Janis cringes at the memories of that day. She hit her lowest. She had totally given up. She laid by the roots fully ready to never wake up ever again. Damian could have kept walking, but he didn't. 

Janis brushed through the grass, morning dew soaking her sleeves as she walked. It was refreshing. 

She approached the blueberry bush. The bottom braches held smaller berries that were just as sweet but never got picked by the Herons for their size. Janis wasn't complaining as she grabbed one just bigger than her hand.

Fresh breakfast.

The sun was starting to shine golden streaks into the grass as Janis made her way inside. She spent longer than intended outside. If Damian was up he was probably looking for her. 

The walls were cooler than outside as Janis made her way back onto the familiar wooden beams. Janis's mental map of the house was broken into pieces. The 'apartment', the place where there are nails to walk across instead of flat wood, the vents that have been broken since she moved here, the other vents that got fixed when Cady moved here, etc. There were a lot of sections and Janis had a memory for each that stood out. 

She passed the entrance into Cady's room. The hole in the wall was covered by a poster not properly taped down.

Even though the wall she could hear the hushed whispers of her and Aaron. Gross, she had the boy over. Janis and Damian didn't trust him, despite what Cady says. If she needs to dumb herself down for a boy she doesn't need said boy. 

Janis continues her walk through the walls. The smell of cool wood was always favored over the musty scent of heated wood in the summer. Janis never minded the brisk cool air.

She remembers when Cady caught her and Damian. It was Janis's fault. She was as reckless as always. Oh well, it works out in the end, didn't it?

She slowly climbed into her 'house'. Over the years it had grown nicely decorated. Cady had found mini canvases while at the dollar store and bought Janis like eight (She had cried when Cady handed them to her). They were now scattered around the rooms, painted by finger with paints Cady had also bought for them. Janis and Damian shared a room. Then there was a living room area ish thing. Great descriptions. This was the only entrance/exit point from the 'apartment'. Off that were the bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. Janis made her way into their kitchen. It was basically just a storage area for food and tools. She placed the blueberry down and grabbed a knife aka a tooth off a fork that somehow broke off. Don't ask the logic, Janis doesn't know either. Damian took it and sharpened it and now it's theirs. 

Janis began cutting the blueberry in half. More than enough for both of them.

Noises were starting to come from the main house, signaling others were up. It wouldn't be long before Damian was too. He went borrowing last night, he needed his sleep. 

Janis looked around their supplies. So much of it, they wouldn't have if it wasn't for Cady. Their tools, their unwavering supply of food, their decor. 

Home decor was never a borrower's priority. But Janis and Damian lived so comfortably they could afford it.

If it wasn't for Cady that wouldn't happen.

She did so much for them, and that includes putting up with them.

Well, really just Janis. 

Hey, she'll admit it.

"Gmorning."

Janis looked up to see a still half asleep Damian at the kitchen entrance.

"Dude," She walked over, reaching up to brush a strand of hair out of his eyes. "If you're tired go back to bed."

Damian shook his head. "Can't sleep, I'm just not fully awake yet."

"Okay," Janis said walking back over to the fruit on the counter. "Will fresh blueberries make it better?" She held Damian a half.

"You went outside?!" Damian seemed a lot more awake now.

Janis shrugged. "You had a late night last night. Nothing like fresh fruit to help."

"What if you got hurt?"

"I didn't"

"Janis!" Damian placed the fruit down shaking his head before walking over to his roommate, pulling her into a hug. "Thank you." He whispered with a laugh. "But please don't go outside alone."

Janis wrapped her arms around his torso. "I can't make promises but I'll keep your request in mind."

They stood like that for a while. There was no rush this morning and after a long week, sometimes just a hug was nice. Damian squeezed Janis lightly before letting go, his hand falling to rest by her wrists here he still held on loosely.

"I am dead serious though, Jan. I will kill you myself if you do something stupidly risky again."

Janis chuckled at the empty threat that Damian threw every week. "Just eat your breakfast, stupid."

mcu spiderman rewrite/au i may or may not do

ok so first quick disclaimer! i do not hate the mcu spider man movies in any way!! i actually enjoy them quite a bit and have seen homecoming like 4 times! and i absolutely adore all the actors in the movies, especially tom, zendaya, and jacob 

but the problem w/ the mcu spiderman movies is,,, they’re just not spiderman. at least from a writing/thematic perspective, which sucks bc so much other stuff about them is great! like tom holland is the perfect peter parker, which is why it seems so close to being right, but with the way the script is actually written... it’s just. not spider-man. 

i feel the need to explain all this/my problems w/ the movies b4 i get into the actuall au idea/plot, so please bear with me for a sec

for context, I’ve loved spiderman my whole life. i’d watch the cartoons when i was younger, and then went back and watched them all again when i was a bit older and figured out how to pirate stuff lol. i didn’t really know how to get into the comics, so i just kinda read wikis and got second-hand info from fanfics and the other movies

to me, spiderman, (at least, peter parker spiderman,) was always about like... a kid, who saw the world was broken and fixed it because he could. he had the power to fix stuff, so he did. 

as a kid w/ mental illness and a not so great home life... that was something really really important to me. to see another kid out there, who’s been through some shit, but finally has the power to make stuff better, so he is! and it would make me think, maybe i can change stuff for the better, someday, if i just get my chance

but,,,,, the problem is mcu peter parker isn’t that. 

instead of becoming spiderman bc he knows there’s bad in the world and wants to fix it, suddenly his motivation is impressing tony stark?? and don’t get me wrong i don’t hate tony, but the way they wrote his and peter’s relationship basically trapped peter. he could no longer be his own hero, bc he was tony’s successor. and that's never who peter parker’s spiderman was?? he was never a follower, he was a trendsetter. he didn’t become spiderman for approval, hell he had dozens of newspapers constantly slandering him. 

honestly the following in someone else’s footsteps thing was always a miles morales thing. he had to step up to the plate and fill the shoes of a spiderman who had already existed for years and was beloved by the whole city. obviously thats not all he is and simplifying his character to that is incredibly obtuse, but i bring it up bc tbh alot of stuff w/ mcu peter parker is just straight-up ripped off from miles morales. like how peter now goes to a fancy private school, is no longer poor (which is a huge thing w/ peter parker’s character in like every other incarnation), has a living father figure, and is bffs w/ ned, who is a straight-up rip off of miles’s best friend ganke. (for the record tho i adore ned and jacob i’m def keeping him in my rewrite,,,, also i’m glad he’s in the movie bc having a plus sized poc protagonist thats not constantly mocked is incredible) 

so, i’m complaining about all this stuff lol but ur probably wondering how exactly how i wanna fix it lol,,,, 

first, give peter an arc thats more than just..... i want tony to believe in me. my idea for that is basically a type of thing where he learns to rely on others! bc like... peter isn’t good at working w/ others lol, he’d much rather do it all himself so no one else gets hurt. (like in the andrew garfield movies where he just,,,, webs his gf to a car so she can’t run into danger lmao) 

the plot would start at a similar ish position to homecoming, though tony never recruits peter for civil war. tbh not sure if it even happened but we’ll disscuss that later

peter’s been spiderman for a few months, after a trip to oscorp left him w/ a radioactive spider bite. currently no one knows about it, and he’s doing a pretty ok job of dealing w/ everything on his own. until he takes down a big bad, lets say rhino for now, and gains a ton of publicity. after stooping a hudge disaster he’s suddenly in the limelight, and catches the attention of one norman osborn, aka the green goblin 

now, quick sidenote. green goblin is genreally seen as pretty goofy, but there are comic versions of him that are legit terrifying. if im being honest i didn’t even know about that version until i read aloneintherains fic birds eating other birds so ig thats kinda ish how i’m imagining this version of norman? though alot more composed, like the man who could someday turn into that 

so norman becomes intrested in my boy peter, and starts sending ppl after him. possibly the sinister 6, but uhh maybe not bc tbh i think this “rewrite” needs to be split into 2 “movies”/works and i might wanna save that for the hypothetical pt2 (btw if i write this it won’t b for a while cause i got other stuff going on but ig if ppl are intrested i might write some snippits/make more content for it) 

so basically the main plot is peter dealing w/ all these big bads on his own, doing ok at first but later getting really fucked up, and eventually revealing himself to ned and mj which ends up being the only way he can save the day in the end. by relying on others! yay!! 

thats it for the main plot, but don’t worry y’all we got other stuff going on too lmao 

so, for one. my boy peter is realizing he has a crush and just,,,, freaking tf out. (i have yet to decide if it’s on ned or mj. or both. sue me) the crush isn’t definitely resolved in p1, but i imagine there’d be some cute thing of him suddenly realizing and freaking out and almost revealing his powers. 

thing 2! tony stark! he is still in here, and still a mentor to peter, but in a pretty drastically different way. one, he doesn't know about peter being spiderman. he doesn't even suspect it lmao. he just gets involved bc of.... some sort of reason bc peter is so smart. do i know why just yet? no. does it matter? probably but i’m writing this pretty late after i had school all day so i’m too tired to care 

bc tony basically gives peter a real internship/mentorship type thing, peter now has access to all this tech!! and all these funds!! fucking lit!! so he changes from his pajama suit to the fancy one, tho he actually built it!! which i feel like him making his suit is a really big really important part of his character. so it doesn't really have all those random things tony added, tho peter might add stuff himself. he gets Karan as a like assistant ai as part of his internship but she never gets put into the suit

for the fist part tony plays a super minor role but like,,,, the first part is about osborn taking an intrest in him, and him confiding in ned and mj. the second part norman is become progressively more dangorus and peter has to fight him and stuff, kinda proving he is strong enough to be spiderman/be trusted to the whole world, beyond just ned and mj. also him actually getting together w/ either one or both of them bc...... bc i want that. 

oh btw idk if tony finds out or not in p2? if he does it’s either at the end or in a scene like the one w/ may bc like. please imagine the shenanigans of peter and ned (who both have high intellegence but low wisdom) in tony’s lab, obviously trying to hide the fact that peter’s spiderman. like he walks in on them and peter looks all frumpy bc he’s been trying to change real fast, and ned’s shirt is messed up bc he just stuffed the mask down the front of it, and mj is just. chilling behing them. so tony just like assumes stuff and is like....aight.... have fun.... 

oh btw the last big change that i didn’t really have anyway to insert natrually into this,,,, so remember how i said ned was kinda a ripoff of ganke? well, the writers claim he’s a “composite character” so i figured, why not give him traits from other famous spiderman side character so he actually is a composite character! 

so like,,,, throughout p1 it’s referenced that ned has a kinda dickish estranged ish dad that he hates and his mom doesn't really like but kinda forces him too... theres some mentions of his dad wanting him to transfer to a private school and being kinda rich, bur he dosen’t want to bc he knows his dad is a total dickead,,,, anyway end of the movie we find out norman osborn is ned’s dad, and ned hates him even fucking more bc it’s like bitch?? u tried to get my (maybe) bf murdered?? tf?? and its lowkey bc he can’t reveal peter’s id, but then in p2 after norman takes matters into his own hands and tries to kill peter on his own ned just fucking yells at him while the man is in jail and is like fuck u lmao 

soooo thats my really messy au idea!! i’m really tired sorry if this is hard to understand or rude! for the record i have nothing against the ppl who adore these movie’s, i just think they could be better!

(3/2) to spread awareness, and most of all to stop. rule of the thumb: unless you are writing someone who has fully recovered and is now happy, do NOT write ED-afflicted characters if you don't have one. please, it hurts so much and i just want to enjoy content without being triggered into a relapse.

im not gonna post the whole 3 part message because you flat out said “maybe not you specifically but the fandom in general” in p2 so im not sure why ur sending it to me specifically, in that case. i don’t write about dennis’s ED for several personal reasons, tbh the only time i can remember doing so is in “heartbeat” when i glossed over it heavily and only mentioned it in passing bc of its connection to his declining mental health. generally, i actively avoid the subject

second of all you dont actually know who has an ED and who doesnt so unless the content is specifically bad theres no reason to police the lives of who’s writing about it..........no one is obligated to write out every shitty thing that’s ever happened to them on their about page, regardless of the fact that people online seem to feel entitled to that info

third of all, in the general sense, i actually agree with you. sunny covers a LOT of triggering material that people are free to explore, especially in a cathartic way, as long as it’s respectful to the subjects and the people who relate to them....as long as people are tagging for it. on that note, i don’t actually see anyone “woobifying” his ED? afaik its portrayed as a painful thing. i also don’t like how often i see it mentioned in fic/art but thats, again, for personal reasons and has nothing to do with the writing itself.

tldr; u should be able to enjoy stuff without being triggered but people are allowed to write about trauma/serious issues. obviously people should be tagging for it & not romanticizing abuse/rape/self-harm/etc. in which case- take it up with them. but mentioning things isnt inherently bad and people are allowed to explore difficult subjects

writer’s block aka my worst enemy 😣i think whenever i’ve been really stuck, talking with my friends has always helped me the most. i use our conversations and experiences as inspo ! bouncing off ideas with someone else can also be helpful :) when i was stuck with p&m p2 i remember telling jordan i wanted the oc to choke jk with her tits bc i hated his character hahaha but anyway, it got me out of my writing slump !

but i def feel you ! a lot of the times i abandon drafts bc i hate the writing, the characters, everythinG,,, so sometimes you just have to stick it out until the end ! and edit continuously. for my namjoon witch fic i seriously hated everything until i got to the last 2k. and now, reading it back im super happy w/ how it turned out !

if you’re looking for ideas to help you start out then you can always try using writing prompts ! or open up requests. my next fic is inspired by the bbma’s performance LOL. writing drabbles can also help get those creative juices flowing !! ✨

01 - omg we were JUST talking today… we always hit each other up for drama its p funny sjdfksldj i love hearing them talk just in general. they have a lot of good energy and it makes me happy that they like me enough to like. willingly hit me up i think thats really cute and i love that… also theyre always going to concerts and i think thats really cute i hope they hve a really good time :( they always have my back n i love talking to them !! angel 

02 - my sweetheart!!! they’re really the funniest we used to talk ALL the time before school started :( i miss them a lot but honestly i love when they spam me with notifs :’) jsdfkjsd i remember when we first met n we talked about divergent and the bts visual novel it was HONESTLY really iconic… they’re a year under me but honestly it feels like we’ve known each other for a while !! they have a lot of love in their heart and their love for a certain few ppl (starting w t) is so sweet :( i love how we both procrastinate and stay up until like 2 for everything anyway ily and i miss u! 

03 -  omg.. i feel like they’re my younger sister… i really don’t deserve such a ray of sunshine! whenever i’m down they always send me the sweetest asks and messages and once they even told me abt their day out of nowhere i just thought that was really cute :( they’re ALWAYS cheering me on and it is really really sweet !! they make me rlly happy nsdfkjsd even just seeing their asks that start with “GIRL!!!” yea :’) they’re the brightest star w the cutest personality

04. we talked for like four hours about grapes once and that’s how we became friends… uhh i love them a LOT !!! they are really so kind and supportive and we get along really well?? they have a callout list for me kjdfdsf honestly we have a lot of inside jokes and it’s really cute. they changed my opinion abt taureans (U SHOULD KNOW WHO U ARE BY NOW .. ) and i just love how we can talk about anythin????? also your sleep schedule is SUPER screwed up but its chill bc that means we can talk more ndfkjsdkf i love you angel !! 

05. i will LITERALLY never forget the time i was feeling like absolute SHIT and they took the time to write out like an ESSAY for me and it’s saved and screenshotted and immortalized forever in my heart it really meant a lot for someone to like. take the time out to do that for me and im so grateful…we don’t even post the same content anymore but they always interact w my posts and check up on me and send me asks… i love them a lot lot lot! on my old blog they’d send me the cutest asks too im grateful and lucky to have them in my life :’) 

06. they know who they are !! my one n only!! we talk every single day and somehow they don’t get sick of me which is a feat in of itself. super creative and caring and empathetic and strong and selfless and just? a really good person. they have the biggest heart and the most love to give. they’re also really hard on themselves :( my biggest cheerleader n the love of my life.. if you haven’t figured out who you are yet i’ll send jeno over to talk some sense into you (*tell you he loves you)

07. soooo soft :( everything about them is soft!! they hav a lot of love for a certain bunny boy and they’re always always tagging ppl in things i think it’s so unbelievably kind. they’re always spreading kindness and joy and is such a ray of sunshine!! i really really lov them a lot !
