So I calculated the exact screen time of all the love square ships in season 1
Yeah, it's exactly what it says. With 99% accuracy I went through all the episodes of season 1, calculated the exact screen time of ever love square ship in every episode, added them all up and made charts to compare them.
But first of all, where did I get the idea to do this? Well, I was looking through Tumblr and I so a post by someone called purrincess-chat answering an ask about Adrienette in Season 5 and in her reply she mentioned how Ladynoir and Adrien have around the same screen time in seasons 1-4 with Ladynoir having slightly more and that is simply reversed in season 5 with some Maricat and Ladrien sprinkled here and there. So that made me wonder: how much really is the distribution of screen time between the love square ships? So I did this, starting with season 1. But before we get into the results...
Some Ground Rules
What does and doesn't count as screen time for a particular ship? Here are the rules I laid out:
Both characters of the ship must be present in the scene for it to count. That's means no scenes of Marinette fawning over ads and pictures of Adrien or Adrien swooning over the fact that the love letter he found in "Dark Cupid" might be from Ladybug.
At least one of characters of the ship must be reacting to the presence of the other character for it to count or at least doing something together. We can't have Maribug and Adricat both just doing their own separate thing acting like background characters and call that shipping content.
If one or both of the characters believe that there are speaking with the alter ego of the other character, then it counts as screen time for that ship. Meaning when Ladybug goes to check on Adrien in "Volpina" and Cat Noir pretends to be his civilian self taking a shower, it counts as Ladrien screen time, not Ladynoir.
Now that that's dealt with let's get into the distribution.
Screen Time Distribution
To the surprise of absolutely no one, Ladynoir dominated season 1, having 76% of the total love square screen time. Makes sense, right? There's an akuma every episode so there's Ladynoir ever episode and since this is season 1, it's more focused on the strict formula rather than some actual development between the other ships.
Coming in a definitely-not-close second is Adrienette with 18.5% of the total love square screen time. No surprises here. Adrienette along with Ladynoir are the main 2 ships while Maricat and Ladrien are simply the side ships. Plus, it's not often for just one of them to be transformed.
Speaking of which, Maricat and Ladrien come in 3rd and 4th with 3% and 2.5% of the total love square screen time respectively and pretty close to each other, Maricat having a slight edge over Ladrien.
Tumblr media
Now let's see the trend across the episodes.
Screen Time Trend
For the most part, Ladynoir is on a completely different level than the other ships, only temporarily being dethroned for one episode- that episode being "Gamer"- by Adrienette which was the episode they both practiced for the Ultimate Mecha Strike Tournament and we got some Adrienette bonding with Marinette giving Adrien her lucky charm bracelet. Other than that, it's been on top the whole time, with there even being episodes with solely Ladynoir screen time and having an average of 4 min 22 sec of screen time per episode, with most screen time being in "Animan" (8 min 28 sec) and least being in "Pixelator" (1 min 3 sec) a.k.a the episode where Adrien was stuck in the titular villain's prison dimension for most of the episode. It mellowed down a little towards the end of the season due to there being more plot relevant stuff in those episodes than akuma battle but picked itself right back up for the finale.
Adrienette stayed fairly low in screen time and having screen time in most episodes having a huge spike in the episodes "Kung Food" to "Animan", even temporarily dethroning Ladynoir like I mentioned before with 6 min 28 sec of screen time.
Finally, Maricat and Ladrien had a few small to moderate spikes here and there with some even being two episodes in a row and Ladrien having most of it's screen time towards the end of season 1.
Tumblr media
Conclusion
Yeah, so that's it. I'm going to be doing these after I complete every season so keep a look out.

I prepared this ask in the Notes app only for Tumblr to not let me copy and paste the text so here’s a screenshot bc I’m not typing all that again lol
Tumblr media
there’s this funny trend i see in trafficblr art, in that, when there’s a lineup of every past winner, most players will be surrounded by symbols that were relevant to their POV, and perhaps drawn with the last emotion they’d felt just before death (or maybe just whatever emotion the artist most associates with the character). The winners might be doing something, or in a pose that reflects how they won—there are a million ways to make a life series winners’ piece. What’s funny about it is that no one ever seems to know what to do with Scott. He’s most often just standing there looking mildly disgruntled. And for the symbols he’s most depicted with, it’s typically poppies, which are only relevant to the first season; last life scott does not place any importance on poppies, poppies dont ever come up beyond a brief interaction in episode 1, and jimmy as a whole is less relevant to scott’s pov in last life than he is in every other season.
not that this is an issue with the art; the pieces are beautifully done, it’s just representative of how little fandom discussion there is about scott’s win thematically. Most discussion I see are about the watchers and how they hate scott for defying him or whatever, but watcher lore is not discussion of the series itself as much as it is a fan creation that is retroactively applied to create meaning.
Scott’s Last Life win, to me, was achieved through accomplishing what Third Life Scott could not.
Scott spent 3L waiting for his day one ally to die. He kept Jimmy at a distance, often fully gearing himself up first before backtracking to help Jimmy along. There’s a funny disparity in episode 5, where Jimmy spends the entire episode trying to get good enchants on his iron armor, while Scott sets up a villager and gets good enchants for the full diamond set that he’d already had in storage, in about half the time Jimmy took trying to accomplish his own goal, iirc. This disparity is also something scott acknowledges with the “I’ll always be more powerful than you” line, but it’s been a while since ive written a post like this so i unfortunately do not have the episode number memorized on that one anymore. But Scott goes on to explain that he’ll always have better armor and weapons, which is why Jimmy could never kill him. This is all to say that Jimmy and Scott do not stand on equal grounds in their alliance, and, more importantly, Scott does not depend on Jimmy. The progress Scott makes in Third Life is entirely his own, with Jimmy as more of an afterthought than a teammate.
This is what landed Scott his all time lowest placement. After Jimmy dies first, Scott loses sight of his priorities and dedicates his remaining time alive to avenging Jimmy, rather than focusing on his own longevity (like he’d go on to do in future seasons). And, in that way, Scott’s attitude towards Jimmy (disposable, going to die, unreliable) was an indirect contributor to Scott’s low placement.
In contrast: Scott could not have won Last Life without Pearl. Scott has to rely on Pearl from day 1, having only two lives to start with himself. Pearl gives Scott two lives total. Pearl and Scott are almost always together. They made it to the final four by each other’s side. And that forced day 1 reliance on pearl breaks down the role scott typically assumes (*he’s* supposed to be the person people rely on, he’s supposed to be the one bringing everything to the table) which curbs his tendency to see himself as above others, which then allows for the most genuine happiness i have ever seen him have in an alliance.
The comparison between the way Scott talks to Pearl and the way Scott talks to Jimmy is like night and day. Scott doesn’t compliment or otherwise say anything supportive towards Jimmy (save for the “I believe in you! MCC has trained you for this moment!” during Jimmy’s dare to flare attempt) until after Jimmy has already died. With Pearl, however, Scott is much more open about his care towards her, saying that she’s his best friend and that he loves her as early as episode 2. There’s more examples but between last life and third life, Scott’s attitude towards his primary ally is completely different, and i think it’s symptomatic of Scott allowing himself to love and be vulnerable rather than keeping himself at a distance. And i think that it’s so special that scott won the season where he was so close with his day one alliance, directly because of his day one alliance.
because, to me, one of scott’s defining characteristics is his self reliance. He will have allies, yes, but he often assumes a supportive role and acts as a supplier. He doesnt like taking things from other people. Last Life is different because Scott relies on Pearl, too. It’s also not a coincidence that last life is the only season where scott is normal about jimmy but that’s a different post
tldr yes scott won last life with the power of love but not in the way people say he did (ignoring the boogeyman curse was strategy ☝️)
I SHOULD NOTE, though, that the boogeyman curse was still a fail. Although purposeful, Scott receives the penalty and apologizes to his team. He says he just couldn’t bring himself to do it. I do think that his words here aren’t fully honest— he’d admitted earlier that this choice was fully for strategy. But I also think his apologetic attitude here is genuine. Scott is a perfectionist, he needs to succeed; failing, though purposeful, still hurts. He feels the need to apologize. It means so much to me that his win in last life directly follows the choice to fail on purpose. I’m insane though idk
third life scott embodies scotts flaws while last life scott is him overcoming them 👍 is what im trying to say 👍 last life scott is everything that third life scott could not bring himself to be, in allowing himself to love and depend on other people and overall just be a person.

Welcome twt immigrants or just newcomers o///
Every week a new wave of twt refugees arrive and so I decided to put together a tumblr 101 to keep ur experience the most stress free and safe as possible
So here it goes:
You can delete comments or plain out disable comments from your posts! So much control.
You can also edit your posts. It even was a meme back on the olden days where a post would go viral and then the op (original poster) would change the post to something silly and the reblogers would look like wierdos or dumdums lol
You can disable your asks or make a rule so people can't ask as anonymous
Report spams!! You can even get rewarded for it. But, even so, report it, they get immediately taken down temporarily
The report system work and the tumblr team is very responsible when investigating an account/post. It's not nuance and easy to make. No one will judge you for it, in fact, it's common culture to do so. It's how we battle pornbots, spams, hate blogs etc.
You have full control of your blog! What people can see, what it can show, block hashtags and the whole shbang.
The algorithm works! Only the things that YOU search for and like will be recommended to you. And if something u no longer has interest in shows up? Just click that u don't want anymore and immediately everything u don't want goes away.
There are many famous blogs that are fun to follow, specifically as newcomer, to really get u on the tumblr experience such as: heritageposts, thebootydiaries, hotboyproblems, showerthoughtsofficial, fartgallery, haikubotofficial and many others. These are just the ones I followed when first arrived back in 2016;
Yes, there are celebrities among us but they're just... here. Vibing, chilling. The most famous ones being Neil Gaiman and Taylor Swift. Here they are just people;
You might have noticed a lot of blogs with blue verification badges. Some with 20 of them. Some are rainbow! That's because Tumblr made a parody of the verification mark from twt and it was fcking hilarius. We loved it so much that it's a thing now. U too can feel very important if u want!
It's worth going the trending tags. Sometimes they are broken, but it's mostly memes or important world news stuff that are actually relevant and helpful. It's safe and you'll have a fun time lurking on other people's fandoms. That's actually how I got into some of my fandoms to begin with;
Crabs.
And there we have it! I might have forgotten something, but I not too worried as I know that people might add it later on. 😉
Welcome welcome!! You'll be safe here. No matter who you are you find a community for you here
It's a hellsite, but it's our hellsite
Remembered something:
It's important to have a profile picture and header image. An reblog a few things before following anyone. Or you will be reported because people will think you're a spam bot kkkkkkkkk so do nurture your blog a little bit before venturing into the unknown.

So there's a Twitter post making the rounds making the claim that nobody has ever shown anyone an old TikTok video and that the website is an entire platform of "disposable content."
It is not lost on this toy that the account holder is probably engagement-baiting, and does not earnestly believe this argument or, at the very least, is embellishing their beliefs to make them more inflammatory so they can farm bigger numbies and get that paycheck from Elon. However, it doesn't really matter if said post is genuine or not because a lot of people agree with the point wholeheartedly.
Now, this toy could sit here and point out a ton of TikTok videos/accounts that are really very good/have had a pretty good amount of cultural staying power/have become large memes, such as the square hole, "that doesn't taste like a gusher," the Da Vinki twins, three gallons three seconds, the tour of Ohio video, the Grimace shake, etc. It could go on. But that wouldn't matter, because anyone making this claim will simply tell you that "oh, well, those are fun videos and all, but nobody will remember them in <amount of time>. You're only proving my point."
Many will go on to tell you that TikTok is nothing like the good ol' days of Vine, that nothing from TikTok will ever compare to the heights of humor and cultural relevance of classic Vines like, uh... The yeet video, for starters. Y'know, that did lead to the creation of a word that persists in common slang years later. Aside from that, though, there's, like... Fre sha voca do? Road work ahead? Welcome to Chili's? Any of those ring a bell? They might, but they also may very easily not. There was the Damn, Daniel vine. Remember Damn, Daniel? Seriously, aside from "yeet," how many vines do you actually hear referenced or otherwise mentioned in the modern day?
Now, one might try to use this as evidence supporting the claim that TikTok is a garbage platform that only produces worthless slop. After all, if the platform commonly cited as being superior didn't actually have that much cultural staying power, then surely that means it's actually secretly worthless and TikTok is doomed to also be worthless, right?
Well, no, not remotely. The fact of the matter is that the vast majority of culture is pretty short-lived, especially online culture. I mean, how could it not be? Think about how much stuff gets posted every hour, how quickly it can blow up, how quickly trends start and then proceed to become insufferable. Think about how there's not really much of a unified cultural zeitgeist anymore because of how the internet lets communities for niche interests flourish.
Yeah, the vast majority of Vines have lost all relevance, seven years out from the platform shutting down. Sure, nearly every single TikTok will share the same fate. But that's how all of this goes. You could say the same thing about anything posted on Twitter, or Tumblr, or Youtube, or bsky. An iconic Vines compilation feels the exact same, to this toy, as a classic TikToks or classic flipnotes compilation. Going a bit further, you could say the same for most things put onto platforms like DeviantArt, or Newgrounds, or Steam, or itch.io, or AO3.
Like, yeah, sure, memes get quickly cast aside once they have stopped being novel and culturally relevant, but does the same not happen to art all the time? To that end, are memes, in themselves, not capable of being art? What does it say about us, about how we engage with media, that so much of what any given person consumes is given no thought, that there is genuinely no difference in the average person's mind between works of art that had a ton of effort put into them and what they would describe as "slop?" Sure, they'll tell you that there's a difference, that one is much better and preferable and more noble than the other, but it's all just background noise to them. They'll drop a like and scroll past it in either case, never thinking about it ever again. If the random meme that gives you a chuckle during your busy day is fake culture for stupid idiots because you won't be thinking about it in a year's time, what does that make the beautifully-rendered painting of a landscape that you looked at for about a second and a half before dropping a like on and abandoning all thought of forever? Surely, if the former is slop because you have treated it as slop, then the latter must also be, yes? But you'll never admit that because then you'll feel bad.
The issue with online culture is not that the culture is bad (at least, not inherently), nor it that the people posting it are (inherently) bad. Rather, the problem is that everyone is being psychologically manipulated into endless, mindless scrolling forever while we also happen to be living in a culture that constantly devalues art and only sees culture as being worthwhile if it's making some suit somewhere a morbillion dollars per week.
But instead of having this conversation, we have a bunch of shockingly young people within this toy's exact age range talking about "new thing bad because new. New kid upbringing bad. Me miss old thing from me upbringing" like they're stereotypes of 80-year-olds. And that gives this toy one very simple question:
What the fuck is happening?
No, seriously, why do we have people who were literally in high school a single-digit number of years ago whinging about how kids these days are too cringe and pining for the good ol' days? Where is this coming from? This toy knows that on some level, the internet can be said to rapidly age people, but this is ridiculous. Furthermore, why is specifically TikTok causing this divide? This toy could understand to an extent if the website started in 2020, but it started in 2016. It could also understand to an extent if TikTok were actually primarily used by children, but it's kind of always been used primarily by the exact age demographic that this toy sees complain about the website the most.
Is this toy simply too young? Have there always been 20-somethings acting like crotchety geezers when new things enter common culture, and this is simply the first time it's become aware of this phenomenon? If not, what actually makes TikTok any different from any other platform that's ever existed?
This toy doesn't really have any conclusive statement to give here. It's just frustrated watching so many people its age give way to reactionary boomer-isms and getting heavily invested in generation politics (by which this toy really means petty shit-flinging) real early, all the while brushing against the task of interrogating how they engage with the world around them while doing and saying whatever they can to avoid that uncomfortable little conversation.
Truly, we will never be free.

is blogging still a thing?
Tumblr media
short answer? kinda. and you wont believe that tiktok does play a role in it.
its not a 'no' because i cant go disgracing tumblr when i've been using it for almost 11 years.
okay. before we get right into it, a brief introduction to what the hell is blogging.
so, blogging. sounds ancient, doesn't it. well, it did started when we barely knew anything about the world. according to many other websites, has been defined as something that has been posted, where writers (or anyone else for the matter) can share their opinions on certain subject, mediums such as writing, photography or things that could be self-publishing online on a website, like tumblr. most people don't know that posting on your twitter, whatsapp statuses and instagram stories are considered microblogging.
see, the thing is, people think that blogging is dead when platforms like tiktok and instagram are thriving. but actually, said platforms are the reason why blogging is still relevant.
Tumblr media
how come tiktok is the reason why blogging is still a thing?
well, when you blog, its basically just you posting about your day, what you eat, what activities did you do and so forth. it can be whatever you want it to be. there are various reasons as to why people are on tiktok. we were there because of covid.
sorry, shouldve put a trigger warning for that.
while most of us signed up to tiktok when ms rona ruined things for us to join trends, share knowledge etc, others would share their similar interests. i remember being on anitiktok, and lord, when i look at the old videos, they were sooo cringey. but hey, at least we've made the most out of it during the lockdown.
other than that, the most notable side of tiktok would be... drum roll please!
booktok.
Tumblr media
so, what's the correlation here? how did tumblr and tiktok became the reason why blogging is still alive and breathing? what does booktok has to do with blogging?
booktok. for starters, is when users are to talk (sometimes they recommend) about books, rant about them, shit talk about how awful the story is (even goes as far as side eyeing the authors [*cough* im looking at you, colleen hoover]).
booktok is meant for people who are into reading. i mean, isn't it obvious?
so, yup. okay, not everyone knows that people go to tumblr to read self-published works of fictions. yes, reading a fanfic on someone's tumblr account on this website is still considered looking at someone's blog (and appreciating them like i do, i've been a loyal fan and reader of several authors on this site). people publish their works here is still considered as blogging because blogging can be anything.
tumblr started and has always been a site where people are able to blog whatever they want, in whatever form (text, gifs, arts, etc). as a result, users as able to look (and appreciate by interacting with the posts by liking, commenting and reblogging) at one's works because it also acts as an archive.
blogging can go from posting lifehacks, tips and advices for people to use as aids as well as to guide them so that they can relate, making them form an online presence.
so when i tell you that the reason why people are still blogging (and interacting with the blogs) because of tiktok, i meant it.
okay, so i mightve made a mistake. to clarify, booktok isnt the only reason why people are into blogging. anime fans, tv series fans like supernatural, movie fans, comic fans, animated fans like atsv fans (specifically miguel fans [aka me]) are the reason why people go to tumblr to blog.
Tumblr media
(i love brooding older men sm yall hes so sexy)
people from all walks of life, specifically if their background is them being a fan of some type of media, is bound to use tumblr to either write a blog (in forms of fanfics/drabbles/oneshot etc) or to interact with them.
and that, ladies, gents and enbies, is the reason as to why blogging is still a fighting tooth and nail to stay alive. its the reason why people still use tumblr to blog. its the reason why tumblr is the place fans go to, to blog and do whatever they want on this app/site. sure, they go to wattpad or ao3 (hell, maybe even fanfiction.net if that site is still alive), but tumblr is one of the platforms (arguable the easiest one to navigate) to use for blogging and such.
and that concludes my opinion. blogging is still fighting for their life, even in the age of tiktok and whatever theyre doing over there (pretty much its vlogging, you know a video type of blogging)
(my right wrist hurt as we speak and i kinda went beyond the word limit so forgiefe mac or whatever it is they say in old/archaic english to be pardoned)
Tumblr media
oh! if they ever would shut down tumblr, i would simply off myself cus what the hell am i gonna do? ಥ_ಥ
reblogs are appreciated!

Van Life and Vehicle Freedom: Why Geosecure Matters More Than You Think
Tumblr media
The open road has long represented freedom. For a growing number of Australians embracing the van life lifestyle, that freedom comes in the form of a converted van, a flexible work schedule, and a minimalist mindset. But beneath the picturesque coastal stops and forested hideaways lies an often overlooked truth — security and visibility are essential to sustaining life on the road. That’s where Geosecure enters the picture.
Living the Dream, One Van at a Time
Van life is more than just a social media trend. It’s a conscious decision to step away from high rents, rigid work hours, and urban noise. Many are turning vans into mobile homes, outfitting them with solar panels, storage solutions, and creature comforts to make long-term travel sustainable. Tumblr has become a haven for this lifestyle — a scroll through the #vanlife tag reveals everything from cozy interiors to hand-drawn route maps.
This nomadic way of living appeals to the adventurous, but it’s not without risks. When your entire life is contained within a van, losing it to theft or not knowing where it is can derail more than just a holiday.
What Most Don’t Realize About Life on the Road
Those new to van life often prepare for weather changes, flat tires, and dodgy Wi-Fi. What’s less discussed is the risk of theft, unauthorized access, or simply losing track of your vehicle in unfamiliar territory. Whether you’re parked at a free camp in rural Victoria or overnighting in a quiet Queensland suburb, security is never guaranteed.
Unlike traditional homes, vans are portable — and that’s a double-edged sword. The flexibility to move comes with the possibility that someone else might move it for you. In this context, having reliable GPS tracking becomes a smart addition, not an intrusive one.
Why GPS Tracking Supports Freedom, Not Restriction
There’s a common misconception that GPS tracking is about control. In reality, it’s about protection, convenience, and peace of mind. With technology like Geosecure, travelers may enjoy greater autonomy because they know their base — their van — is accounted for.
Geosecure offers advanced vehicle tracking solutions designed to improve fleet visibility and safety. While originally developed for commercial fleets, these systems are just as effective for individuals. A solo traveler can set up geofencing to receive alerts if the van is moved without permission. Couples or friends can track each other’s location when taking separate drives or excursions. And if something goes wrong — whether it's theft, a mechanical failure, or even forgetting where you parked in a new town — you’re not left guessing.
Built-In Benefits for Vanlifers and Nomads
What makes Geosecure’s technology especially relevant to the van life community is its real-world practicality. Beyond theft prevention, GPS tracking can help with:
Trip Logging: Record where you’ve been and when — useful for journaling, blogging, or just planning future routes.
Remote Diagnostics: Monitor battery voltage or engine data before a breakdown happens.
Vehicle Recovery: If your van is stolen or towed, location data can assist police in real-time.
Fuel Efficiency Monitoring: Learn how driving habits affect consumption, and adjust accordingly.
These features don’t limit your lifestyle — they support it. When you’re hundreds of kilometers from the nearest mechanic, being proactive matters.
Curious about other gear that pairs well with this lifestyle? Many vanlifers explore tech and tools through Tumblr’s technology section, sharing their experiences with solar kits, rooftop Wi-Fi, and more.
Real Stories from the Road
Take the example of a Brisbane-based freelancer who travelled solo across WA. She installed a Geosecure tracker after a scare in Broome where her parked van was bumped and shifted while she was inside a nearby cafe. While nothing was stolen, the incident prompted her to prioritize safety. A month later, she used the app to confirm her van was still parked where she left it — a minor moment that saved her hours of anxiety.
In another case, a Sydney couple who rented out their converted van occasionally used the tracker to ensure it wasn’t taken off-route. The system helped them remotely check fuel levels, location, and idle time, creating peace of mind without disturbing the renters.
Stories like these aren’t rare. The mobile lifestyle makes freedom possible — but smart tech helps maintain that freedom when plans change, accidents happen, or unfamiliar territory brings uncertainty.
Planning Beyond the Adventure
Safety shouldn’t be a reactive measure — especially when your van is your home. Many people don’t consider GPS tracking until after an incident, but by then, the damage (emotional or financial) is already done. Being prepared means equipping yourself with the tools that allow you to focus on the experience, not the risks.
Preparedness also comes in handy when lending or sharing your vehicle. Whether it’s mates borrowing your rig for the weekend or listing it on a rental platform, GPS tracking ensures visibility without micromanagement.
The Bottom Line: Freedom and Awareness Go Hand in Hand
Geosecure isn’t about locking you into one place — it’s about helping you stay aware of where your journey takes you, and where your vehicle ends up. For those embracing the van life lifestyle, the ability to track, monitor, and respond is less about limitation and more about extending your freedom without blind spots.
You don’t need to be part of a commercial fleet to benefit from advanced vehicle tracking. Whether you’re driving solo through the Outback, camping in the Dandenongs, or zigzagging between coasts, knowing your van is secure gives you the confidence to keep moving forward.

A Comprehensive Guide on CORAG: How AI is Revolutionizing Content Generation
Welcome to the world of CORAG—Content-Oriented Retrieval-Augmented Generation! Whether you're into creating artsy blog posts, crafting fanfiction, or producing witty social media content, CORAG is about to become your new best friend. If you’ve ever wished for a magical content-creating assistant that’s not just pulling random words out of thin air but is actually using real-time data to serve up fresh, relevant ideas—look no further. CORAG is here to make your content-creating dreams a reality!
But wait…what exactly is CORAG? And how does it work? Don’t worry, we’ll break it all down in the quirkiest, most Tumblr-friendly way possible. Let’s dive in!
What is CORAG?
In the simplest terms, CORAG stands for Content-Oriented Retrieval-Augmented Generation. It’s like a super-smart AI that not only generates content but does so by pulling relevant information from existing databases, articles, and web sources in real-time. Unlike traditional AI that just ‘makes things up’ based on training data, CORAG goes one step further—it fetches and retrieves the most up-to-date info to create something truly unique, personalized, and relevant to your topic.
Think of it like creating the ultimate playlist. Instead of sticking to just one album (or one dataset), CORAG pulls the best tracks (information) from a wide range of artists (sources) and crafts a playlist (content) that perfectly matches your mood (topic). Pretty cool, right?
How CORAG Works (With a Fun Playlist Analogy, Of Course!)
Let’s dig into how CORAG actually works, using our favorite analogy—making the perfect playlist. Imagine you’re throwing a party. You could just toss on one album, but that wouldn’t really fit the vibe for the whole event. Instead, you pull tracks from different artists, genres, and even decades, blending them together into a seamless soundtrack that keeps everyone on their feet.
That’s basically what CORAG does for content!
Retrieval: CORAG starts by scanning real-time data sources (think articles, blogs, databases, and more). It grabs all the juicy info that’s fresh and relevant.
Augmentation: The AI then takes that retrieved data and augments it, adding a creative twist. It's like taking a song from the ’90s and remixing it with a modern beat—keeping the nostalgia, but adding something new to fit today’s mood.
Generation: Finally, CORAG generates your content—whether it’s a blog post, social media update, or fanfiction masterpiece—with information that’s up-to-date, accurate, and creatively spun together.
The best part? You don’t have to do the heavy lifting! CORAG does all the hunting, remixing, and producing, so you can focus on your creative vision.
Why CORAG Matters
Okay, so now you know how CORAG works, but why should you care? In today’s fast-paced digital world, content is king—but keeping up with the constant demand for fresh, engaging content can feel like a never-ending battle. Whether you’re trying to grow your Tumblr following, boost engagement on your fan blog, or nail that viral meme for your followers, staying relevant is tough.
That’s where CORAG steps in.
Real-time relevance: CORAG doesn’t just pull from outdated info; it pulls the freshest, most relevant content in real time. Your blog posts will be on-trend and timely, which is essential in a fast-moving digital space.
Content diversity: Instead of recycling the same ideas over and over, CORAG keeps things fresh by blending content from multiple sources. Think mashup albums, but for your blog!
Efficiency: Let’s be real—content creation can be exhausting. With CORAG, you get a head start by letting the AI handle the research and drafting, so you can focus on what you do best: creating.
Creative Uses of CORAG (Tumblr-Style!)
Wondering how to use CORAG on Tumblr? Here are some fun, quirky ideas that might spark your imagination:
Fanfiction Fuel: Are you writing an epic crossover fanfic? CORAG can help you pull in obscure details from the fandoms you love, generating plot twists that even hardcore fans might not have seen coming. It’s like having your own AI sidekick for writing those emotional character arcs!
Blog Content Magic: Stuck on what to write about next? Let CORAG retrieve and remix trending topics into a blog post that’s guaranteed to grab your followers’ attention. From deep dives into niche interests to lighthearted posts about pop culture, CORAG can add that extra flair.
Mashup Madness: Want to mix and match nostalgic themes with modern vibes? CORAG is perfect for blending old-school Tumblr aesthetics (hello, 2012) with today’s trends. Vintage inspiration meets modern AI. Could this be the next big thing on your blog?
Potential Challenges with CORAG
Of course, every AI tool has its quirks. CORAG is no exception. Here are some things to keep in mind:
Repetitive Content: Like a playlist with too many similar tracks, sometimes CORAG can lean into repetitive themes if it’s not given enough variety to pull from. The key is to give it diverse prompts so it stays creative!
Ethical Considerations: CORAG pulls from real-time data, which could sometimes include copyrighted material. It’s important to make sure that the sources you’re using for content creation are free to remix and share (so no shady copyright issues come back to haunt you).
The Future of CORAG
What does the future hold for CORAG? Well, for content creators on Tumblr and beyond, the possibilities are endless. As AI becomes more integrated into our daily lives, we can expect CORAG to become an even more powerful tool for content generation.
Imagine a world where your Tumblr drafts can be instantly fleshed out with research, or your blog posts can be continuously updated with real-time information, all with the click of a button. The future of CORAG could mean smarter content suggestions, automated collaboration with other creators, and even more personalized content experiences for your followers.
It’s an exciting time to be a creator!
FAQs (Because We Know You Have Questions!)
What is CORAG? CORAG stands for Content-Oriented Retrieval-Augmented Generation. It’s an AI model that helps create content by retrieving and blending real-time data from various sources.
How is CORAG different from other AI models? While traditional AI models rely on pre-existing data, CORAG actively retrieves new information to keep content fresh and relevant.
Can CORAG be used for personal blogs? Absolutely! CORAG is perfect for personal blogs, fanfics, and even artistic content mashups on Tumblr.
How can I get started with CORAG? There are many AI platforms and tools that offer CORAG-like functionality. Start by researching some options and playing around with them to see what fits your creative style!
Are there any risks with using CORAG for content creation? Just be mindful of copyright issues when pulling content from external sources, and always aim for diversity in your prompts to avoid repetitive content.

⚠️PSA For New Users from TikTok:
Here are some helpful things I have heard or done as a way to navigate this app:
Reblog things. Likes are ok but the Double tap does Nothing for reaching ppl here. For content to reach more people - Reblog it.
This app is text and photo based. Videos do ok here but mostly this is for Unhinged writers, artists and bloggers as far as I can tell. Not for you? Try something else.
Say whatever you want in the tags. There is no God. No Devil. No rhyme or reason. Sure tag things that might be relevant to your post or leave an Unhinged take on something there. Honestly no real rules for tags.
NSFW and 18+ content is risky. Goes without saying for most social media, but "spicy" art kinda went through a Purge here. However fanfic is welcome! (See point 2)
Staff is not that serious. There's a semi running joke about them. Honestly just don't be a raging asshole and you'll be fine.
THERE IS NO ALGORITHM. Follow people whose content you like to keep seeing it. Works kinda like TikTok sorta ig. Instead of an FYP it is called your Dash or Dashboard. You see the content to reblog or follow. Do this by engaging with the app and seacjing for tags you like. On that note...
Don't like something? BLOCK IT. There is no reason to hate on something you don't like or that isn't for you. Again, no algorithm so if you cone across tags you don't jive with, block it.
There is no reason to censor yourself. The lingo and language used over on other apps doesn't translate here well. Plus, as above, it makes it harder for ppl to block things. A good example would be "unalive" and "sewer slide" just add in the actual words in tags or if you'd like have huge/attention grabbing (colored, folded, etc) text near the top of your posts so ppl can get what they want and leave what they don't.
Side blogs are awesome. Don't feel like cluttering up all your content on 1 blog? Make another! Keep art on one and knitting on another! Or whatever you like! People have side blogs all over the place!
Be open. Things have changed for you all just joining us, but some of us have been here a LONG time. (Ex: Started this blog in 2014 I think) Some of us are even now just coming back after not using this site in YEARS. There will be jokes you don't get, lingo and stories you may not understand. But give it enough time and I think you may end up liking this funny little dumpster fire of a site that's been around on this corner of the app store and internet for a while.
If you don't know something, ask a Vet! More than likely some of us have been here a while. Ask boxes and Dms will be open for us to response in due time. Or ask a friend! Again, this place is an old home to quite a number of us. You might be surprised how much some will remember about our little hellscape.
Have some fun! This is the Wild West of social media apps. There's a few rules, but in truth we're beat to hell and back but we're still here and probably will continue to be for a while.
We don't want to be "relevant" or "trending". I can't guarantee you can get paid or even viral here, but you find your little niche and enjoy the content as you like, just don't be mad if you can't go viral or start something new here. It's a place of being ourselves and helping each other discover new fandoms, ideas, etc without worrying about what content we churn out.
Other than that... can't say much else. Feel free to look around for others showing y'all the ropes.
🎉Welcome to Tumblr🎉

Doing a little check-in/reflection now that I worked my way up to the end of August last night with the "10 years of sssn" thing.
First of all, what is this all about? I got into rwby/team sssn in 2017, so I've been around for a long time, but I actually just missed this sub-fandom's heyday, or at least only saw the tail end of it. So I consider myself a "historian" of the fandom, with an academic interest in observing the social phenomena as well as just my normal fan interest in the characters. Tumblr's reblog system has been really helpful for this: each reblog is a new instance of the post, rather than just an embedding of the original post, so if the original post or poster is deleted, I can still access the post. The tagging system also means I can easily find more posts on other people's blogs.
Since I care about this so much, I thought it would be really awesome and fitting to reblog posts on their 10th anniversary. That would've taken a lot of setup, though, so I never got around to it. Until last night, when I stayed up until an awful hour to get all of the 2014 posts ready.
I'm obviously not trying to get every single post there ever was. I'm not even getting every single post I've ever collected. And, I'm not even getting every post that I would have wanted to gather together if I'd had the time to be more thorough. There's also some other complications, like I've been blocked before by artists who I assume wanted me to stop reblogging their ancient art. (and by the way, my collection goes beyond what I have on this blog. I have a side blog where I collect pretty much anything I can get my hands on, even if it's not "good" or I don't "like" it, both for the sake of a complete picture and also because I can still use those old posts as a jumping off point for more deep diving)
I might still reblog some posts later even though they'd be "out of order," just to show that I think it's a good and/or significant post that I still want to celebrate reaching 10 years. For now though, I'm working on getting caught up to today's date with what I was immediately able to scrounge together.
Enough about that! Time for some actual reflection. This has been really fun and interesting to be honest, even though I spend a lot of time cataloguing stuff from this fandom and have a good grasp of trends, limitations from parts of canon not existing yet, etc, I still was surprised seeing it all put together like this. I don't know whether or not it's just because I spend the most time looking for Neptune posts, but it seems as though after he was introduced in July, he was given a lot of exclusive attention because he was new. I didn't expect him to be so much more prominent than Sun at this time. Of course, this is also exclusively to this growing sub-fandom (which, since it's pretty much lacking half of its characters, arguably hasn't reached the point where it can be called "the team sssn fandom" yet). To the wider fandom, Sun was probably still a more relevant character (and by the way, it is still surreal to see 2013/early 2014 content of him that was by himself, where his only other connection to other characters is with other Faunus).
We can also see the early beginnings of the fandom making things up about the characters in order to have something to work with. Before a name was revealed for him, people (or at least one artist) called him "Azure" just from seeing him in the trailer for volume 2. Now at the end of August, Sage and Scarlet are still in that same position, because they only exist as a still image in the opening. But for now (possibly, again this could just be because I focus a little more on him than the others), the attention is still on Neptune. I haven't seen anything mention it, but they would have actually known about Scarlet's name (and from what I know about the community they would have at least regarded it as a theory) because Sun tells Neptune not to go blab Blake's secret to Scarlet. I mentioned that without Sage and Scarlet, this sub-fandom hasn't quite solidified into its final identity, but their shared attention on a minor character is laying the grounds for it.
I don't really have a point to make by saying this, but I feel like it's worth pointing out that by this point most of the fans are still pre-existing RT fans and/or part of the target audience that rwby initially drew in. And since it's tumblr (and a large chunk of it slash), this is also the intersection of that demographic and the tumblr demographic. As rwby becomes more popular with volume 2, we'll see the fandom diversify a little bit, but it's interesting to see this stage. Another side note is that it's interesting to see a tumblr community during tumblr's prime. Not a lot, if any references to the sub-fandom or larger fandom's presence on other social media. There's not really a need to, I guess, because tumblr is still thriving and its culture is so different from other social media. And if I understand it right, twitter hadn't become the dominant fandom presence yet at that point.
I don't have a way to neatly wrap this up because I need to get ready to go to school NOW, but yeah that's all folks see you later!

I wanted to follow up this post I made 4 or 5 days ago by just saying, yes I still agree with my original point because in the first 12 hours of the trend, it was a mess, but I can admit in the 2nd and 3rd day of the trend, I saw creative people flourishing and it was nice to see what happened with goncharov happen with the artistic and creative community on tiktok. I was seeing beautiful artwork, people creating documents to build a master plot, etc, etc. It was really nice to see and made me rejudge my position on the trend. I made this clear in the comments when I was getting people criticising my original post and so I said that actually creativity was coming out of it and it was nice to see.
But then ALL of tiktok knew about it.
This video explains it so well about how creators are being dragged into the trend. There is a difference between a creator actively participating in a trend because it matches their style of videos, editing, writing, etc and FORCING creators into a trend by flooding comment sections with "you look like Greg from Zepotha"
I have seen creators being forced into the trend and then when they didn't know what the actual fuck was going on, everyone gaslit them?
Spencer explains it perfectly as well (through swearing) how this is affecting creators. I like watching the daily scream, and it's also funny to see people's comments. But now I can't interact with the communities I want to on TikTok because every single one is full of Zepotha comments.
I had backlash on my original post of people asking me why it matters, why can't younger people have fun (this question has no relevance to me as I am still young, live, laugh, love - Karen, 40), and also I got told I wasn't fun at parties (woe is me).
I am not trying to invalidate these people's points though, I shouldn't really care about this, it has nothing to do with me, people are having fun, and maybe I was a little harsh.
But it's just sad to see a trend not become a joke, but become a marketing campaign to dismiss the creativity of other creators by making things about you. You did not when Goncharov was popular on Tumblr, you did not see people who were in on the Goncharov joke going into the Tumblr fandom for the fucking bee movie and being like, "your art style of Barry b Benson looks exactly like Katya" and discrediting that person's creativity.
Edit: I linked the competition Emily jeffri was holding to make a short film and seeing the TikTok community's reaction to it, I don't want to promote it as she has used art to promote their competition and they didn't even credit the original poster designer. Also a lot of people are frustrated at the prize as so much time and effort and money goes into making short films and it is a slap in the face to creators. "Let's all create something" and "I'm the creator of Zepotha" does not make you entitled to content that is made about Zepotha!! Or else Disney would be shitting themselves as they find out they own every Google search result for Mickey Mouse Rule 34.
Sorry if you read all the way through this rant as well as my last one.
Luv all of ya <3
WTAF TikTok
What and why the actual fuck is this zepotha trend?
It's literally just tryna copy Goncharov 1973 (the greatest movie ever made) and y'all are so uncoordinated it's actually kinda funny.
Like the original was posted 10h ago, I saw it when it had like 8000 likes now its at over 198k likes.
But even though there's this much attention around it, y'all can't agree on it.
It's meant to be an 80s horror movie, so why are some of you saying the 90s?
I've seen like references to 10 different characters who nobody has given backstory to because at the end of the day, if you give lore to a character, your comment will be lost in the endless comment section void and will be shown beneath the comments liked by the creator. Meaning the people who make these videos decide what happens.
At least on Tumblr everyone is as chaotic as one another and can agree on stuff.
I literally saw someone say zepotha was a series... The original literally says it's a fucking movie.
Also y'all can't agree on scenes, the clocktower scene of Goncharov was heartbreaking and powerful, but wtf is the ice breaking scene of zepotha? Who is the villain? Why is he using chainsaws and axes?
It could work if you agree on something like idk maybe that John Carpenter could be the director and it's his least well known film and his most underrated.
I know the original has only been up for 10 hours and I'm sorry if you find my rant harsh or mean at all, it's just this has been done on the Internet before, you don't have to resurrect it. Be like r/Place. Maybe come back in 8 years.
(also do y'all think the original was made to gain traction for this person's album like 😭)

i will just never accept the revival of some 2005-2012 fashion trends
i have a viscerally negative reaction to the idea of wearing something that reminds me of the things i wore when i was a cringy kid (like age 10-12) or pre-teen, to early teen
i don't like long-cut tank tops (or any long, skin-tight shirt). that was a HUGE trend in my school around 2007. having a lace hem, skin tight tank top that goes down mid-butt, overlaid with a skin-tight (usually hollister/abercrombie) shirt that goes down a couple inches above the tank top. frequently coupled with either baggy sweat pants or boot cut jeans. VOMIT-INDUCING. i wore that crap almost every day when i was 10. and tank tops being cut to extend pass the torso remained the default silhouette for tank tops up until, like 2014, when crop and boxy cut exploded.
i don't like low rise pants in general. there's no reason for it. neutral waist/mid-rise pants are just fine. there's no reason for your pubic bone to be exposed.
i don't like skinny jeans. they reigned for many, many years, throughout all these trends. for almost a decade, skinny jeans evolved to remain relevant with the passing trends. i am tired of you, please go away. i don't necessarily find them revolting, but i am Tired of them.
i don't like the 2011-2012 hipster era, like... the era of suspenders, galaxy print, and fedoras. BUT. i do like the 2011-2012 tumblr goth movement of the same timeframe. the oversized vintage tees, with leggings and creepers. that will always be kinda dear to me. but the adjacent hipster movement is repulsive in retrospect.

New Blog
For the past two years, I, MSDROPPINIT, have passionately dedicated myself to a mission that goes beyond the conventional. My journey revolves around the preservation of timeless music treasures. While many channels aim for financial gain, my focus remains unwaveringly on the love of music and the essence it carries.
My content, meticulously curated and shared on YouTube and various online platforms, may not appeal to a mainstream audience. Instead, it resonates profoundly with a specific demographic—an older generation often overlooked in the vast landscape of the internet. These individuals, with limited online presence, find a haven in the nostalgic sounds and visuals I present.
My initiation into content creation began with the digitalization of my cherished cassette collection. Over time, this simple act transformed into an art—a heartfelt desire to communicate and influence. I’ve delved into graphic design, creating visuals that complement the audio recordings, aiming to trigger emotional responses and provide unique perspectives on the subject matter.
Self-taught and driven by passion, I’ve not only crafted my unique style but also designed my two websites to showcase my musical content and offer services in website creation and copywriting. My collection spans diverse reggae recordings—from sound system dancehall sessions to Studio 1’s foundation culture, from lovers rock to live dancehall parties and stage shows, capturing the essence of one-hit wonders.
In the rich tapestry of Toronto’s reggae roots, I’ve found my inspiration. The sounds that have woven through generations resonate uniquely in this city. Toronto’s sound systems boast an incredibly distinctive style that cannot be replicated elsewhere.
Today, I offer more than just music. Shorts, status reels, and compilations highlight reggae’s best, while personalized videos aim to immerse viewers in the lost and forgotten songs, stories, events, and messages from the past, all while capturing the relevance of today’s trends.
Join me, MSDROPPINIT, on this sonic and visual journey, where every aspect resonates with authenticity, passion, and a deep love for reggae’s rich legacy. Explore my digital realm msdroppinit debbie dropit
