Exam is all done and it was a success :D

I was the only person there in the end and it was quite chill. She did ask me so much stuff, the exam lasted a good 40 minutes, but it felt more like a discussion or a chat than a proper exam. Like it wasn't question-answer-question and so on, we were discussing these historical things and talking about them and it felt nice. I celebrated by getting a piece of focaccia and was lucky enough to find the bus waiting at the stop when I got there so I didn't even have to wait in the cold!!

I whole heartedly believe Topher can be a good person and it's the over compensation for being a clone of Christopher Colombus that makes him bad.

He was probably normal before his clone father was cancelled. He is literally in high school now and was likely still in middle school when he became chronically online and trying to learn everything about racism and sexism and privilege etc. Even the poc characters think he's annoying for his leftist talk because it's over compensation.

His room is also completely empty except for the activism posters. He likely ditched every interest he had just to commit to activism and being online which is seriously the worst thing you can do for yourself (I did this a few years ago and literally just became so depressed and resentful and ironically detatached from bigger real life issues in favor of minor online discourse).

not much from me tonight because i’m doing some writing but:

you walking over to Foul Legacy and flopping onto his chest, exhausted after several hours of work, only wanting to lay down and cuddle with your favorite Abyss moth monster. he yelps in surprise when you collapse on top of him and squish your cheek against his lavender fluff, letting out a tired sigh of relief, and his claws hover over your body before tentatively lowering to hold your back, lightly dragging them up and down your spine.

with a sleepy mumble you simply snuggle closer, burrowing your face into his soft fur, and Childe can’t help but let out a low, loving croon as you try to get as close to him as possible. your eyes begin to drift shut as you feel your tense muscles relax and unwind, one of your hands searching until you’re able to curl your fingers around Childe’s talons, the others gently petting the top of your head. some soft lullaby drifts through the air, tones growling but sweet, and you bring his claws towards you for a drowsy kiss before you finally drift into sleep.
