Pt . 2 OF UHSH AIDEN ART YEA GIGGLES ( explodes )

*scribble scribble*

Scribbling , scribbling , not really scribbling but at the same time he was . Aiden was back in the living room drawing , drawing and drawing . What was he drawing ? He wasn’t sure really , but it was a person . Looked familiar . He knew the person , but he didn’t like the drawing , he felt it didn’t capture them at all , didn’t fit them , didn’t truly get how . . Wonderful they were . It was weird .

. . An odd sense of Deja Vu floated somewhere in his mind , only thing missing here were his parents stuck on constant business calls and . —

Crayons . Crayons ? Yeah sure , I have a pack in an old drawer somewhere . —

Aiden got up from where he was sitting and walked upstairs to his room , unconsciously ignoring the calls of someone coming from his kitchen . Kitchen ? His dad ? No wait he wasn’t here , he was on a business trip , again . He was kinda hungry . Aiden went back to his door , about to open it back up for a snack when —

What was he doing ? He was in his room for something . Oh right , crayons ! How silly ! Aiden searched a while , eventually finding an old , slightly worn out pack in the bottom drawer near his bed . He picked it up and stared at its broken packaging for a few seconds before getting back up , and making his way to the living room . -

Aiden got back to the table , but another person was waiting for him . Well , more so just staring at the paper he scribbled on with a weird fixated gaze .

“ Taylor ? “

Taylor looked up in response to her name , a slight smile coming across her face when she saw him . “ Aiden ! Did you draw this ? “ “ . . Oh yeah , I was just doodling a little . “

That’s right , his friends were here ! He had to admit to being taken aback a little . He was usually private with any drawing he made . He couldn’t remember why , he just didn’t like showing them , not anymore .

“ Holy sprinkles , you’re good ! “

“ What ? “

“ It’s really pretty ! I didn’t know you drew so well . “ “ — I did it a lot with Ben when we were traveling , small challenges and what not ! “

A compliment . He hasn’t realized how much he liked hearing those words about something he was told was meaningless to do .

Is this of Ashlyn ? “

Ashlyn . Ash . That’s who it was . He didn’t see it before , why didn’t he ? He just did it subconsciously after all , let his hand guide him in what he thought were mindless scribbles but even without trying to use his mind , Ashlyn manages to take space in it . How silly !

” We could totally work together with arts n crafts if you want ! Basically I fold old metal together and create little sculptures to sell ,so it would be fun if you wanted to try and paint them and — “

Taylor talked , and talked . It was nice , she was pretty excited about it all . Aiden felt jealous , but he couldn’t explain why . Jealous on how much freedom she had with it ? Either way it confused but enlightened him all at the same time . Was that a bad thing ? . . She talked about ideas , opportunities , some art fair , all the silly things , and spoke of inviting ben as well . He liked that idea , all of them . He’ll manage to show all his friends this . . “ hidden talent “ of his some day , but right now he’s enjoying this moment . It was simple , and nice , a step at a time . Sometimes that was the best .

Anime Openings!!

Let's Talk Anime Pt.3

Firstly, I want to thank both @jellied0ctopus and @iwritebetterthanispeak for sending me these asks !! these are definitely tough and fun questions to ask as I answer these in numerical order, but answered in separate parts as these will be discussed in depth.

6. Favorite Opening 

I have a couple favorites, not in any particular order. My favorite type of opening either in some way include awesome editing, music, foreshadowing, animation,  reveals some of the characters personalities in some way, and convey the story your about to head into. But, sometimes openings don’t fit all of these personal requirements of mine. But, here are some openings that seemed rather memorable in my opinion.  Feel free to mention more to me.

Favorite Opening:  Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood 

op1 - Again

I adore this opening for the music progression, how perfectly the music fits within the animation, the foreshadowing, and use of showcasing the characters and the struggles on their own personal journeys along with setting the mood.

This one is my favorite opening and best example of an excellent and successful opening.

Because I’m a dork who constantly trying to find people who hold similar sentiment with FMA: BH op1. I eventually came across someone on youtube, who decided to make a 21-minute video analyze of all of the openings. (The video will be posted below with a link and description of the video. The video about the FMA openings was surprisingly in depth.

The video did an excellent job of showcasing how Fullmetal Alchemist opening 4 had no need to go so hard in the animation department in their last opening. That only lasted for about a minute and 10 seconds within the opening, honestly puts some fighting animations to shame in just how fluid, detailed, and dynamic it was. The video will be at the bottom along with the time to start and when it ends.

FullMetal Alchemist Opening 4 

Start at 1:00 - 1:10 for the amazing waterfall animation, that didn’t need to be so fluid in their animation for just a minute and ten seconds.

Special Mention 1

Mawaru Penguindrum op 1

I highly recommend the show for people who really like their magical relaism, metaphors, foreshadowing,  and all of the symbolism. If you're having trouble understanding a lot of the symbolism, real-world references, and themes there’s a lot of analysis of the show as people have all tried to interrupt the show. I remember it being so fun in engaging in trying to solve these questions the show gave the viewers week by week.

Special Mention 2

Terror in Resonance – Official Opening “Trigger” by Yuuki Ozaki

This is an amazing opening with an amazing OST by Yoko Kanno. Who has been known for composing works of Cowboy Bebop fame among many others great anime OSTs. But, the show really does not compare to how great this opening was in setting up the mood, characters, and the type of story your heading into which was, unfortunately, a hot mess of a plot. But I highly recommend their ost. Here’s a link to the ost.

Special mention 3

Boku no Hero Academia openings 

These openers are really great showcasing the character progression of characters along with the showcasing the specific plots that will be showcased. These are just really great openers that have caught me surprised as I didn't expect them to be interesting, at most I thought it simply going to be your standard generic shounen openers. My top three favorites are as follow in the links
