diff anon here but i would loveeeee to hear more about Bunny’s lore (if/when you have time of course) and their relationship with Logan hehe…. also kinda off topic but their design is so beautiful props to you 🐇🫶🏽

Hi anon!!! Sorry for such a late response, I would love to yap some more!

Bunny and Logan meet when he first is brought to the mansion alongside Rogue. At that point, Bunny had been fairly integrated into society (in terms of the mansion, Bunny doesn't go out much) and they had been put in charge of showing Logan around the grounds after he woke up. Logan was taken aback by Bunny's appearance at first, but the more time that passed he started developing an embarrassing little crush on his new friend.

Bunny on the other hand was very hesitant around Logan. After years of being held by men in the same plaid and jean clothes, they were understandably nervous around him. It took some time but Bunny eventually came to trust Logan and it was only a matter of time before Logan's feelings were reciprocated!

Logan and Bunny danced around their feelings for months. Field trips with the Outdoor Survival students were often chaperoned by Logan, late nights were spent in diners near the edge of town and morning walks were blanketed in Logans comfortable presence. It was after an encounter with one of the men involved with Bunnys capture that Logan confessed his own history and his feelings for them.

Little fun tangent! One of the first times Bunny and Logan were alone with each other was at a small lake a distance into the surrounding woods. It was then that Bunny found out Logan couldn't swim, and was actually afraid of deep water. Bunny, being a naturally gifted swimmer due to their mutation (snowshow hares love swimming and are actually proficient at it!), spent nealry an hour easing Logan into the shallow murky water until he finally sat on a rock and watched Bunny as they floated on the shimmering surface. That was the first time he had seen their tail, and to say he blushed would be an understatement.

Sleep Token too was in my top 5, which isn't super surprising. This song isn't my favorite, but I love the storytelling with this one. The way he describes this toxic, on both ends, relationship (Or at least how I interpret it).

Which, to me, immediately bring to mind my fav toxic couple Loustat. Listen, I know I said character but this song is them okay. And with these two, depending who's story you're hearing it could be any of the two singing this sooooo... That's on that

Aaron and CM Survey [a ramble]

Good evening all! I hope you are doing well this week. I'm sure ready for it to be the weekend over here.

I'm posting this ramble to see if anyone would be willing to take a short survey to help me build a data set for the freshman English class I teach. Our current paper is a statistical analysis, and well, I need some stats to analyze as a sample set. The survey will be anonymous and it's about Criminal Minds viewers, fanfiction readers, and writers. I don't think it will take you long to answer. If you're down for that I'd be eternally grateful for you! Feel free to spread the link if there are others that you think would like to answer as well. Hi! Just wanted to say I absolutely adore all of your art, and that I’ve been loving the stuff you’ve been posting about your Bunny mutant OC! Their design is so cool and I’d be really interested to learn more about their backstory/mutation! No pressure, obviously, but your recent piece with them is just really cool and made me want to learn more!

i’d love to tell you about Bunny (its a lot im so sorry) :D

Bunny is originally from Alaska, specifically a little town called Yakutat. Their parents began noticing some odd physical deformations as they started hitting puberty, their ears slowly gravitated upwards and their shoe size nearly doubled. As a result of this, Bunnys parents began homeschooling and eventually completely isolating their mutant child. A week before Bunnys 16th birthday, they skipped town and made their way east into Canada.

It was in Canada that they picked up odd jobs, thats where they met the Browns. Bunny was hired by the father as a ranchhand and was given a place to live in the barn. During the four years they spent with the Browns, Bunny endured quite a bit of abuse. As Bunnys mutation matured, the father and son would quite literally hunt Bunny for sport. They were cruel and exploitative of them in short.

In the most recent sketch i did, Bunny is holding an axe over the father. This is a little snapshot of the last night bunny spent with the Browns. They essentially, through pure luck, had been able to drug the father during his...abuse, and she killed him. It was then the adult son found them, and as revenge, drove Bunny north into Yukon territory and hunted Bunny one last time.

Its during this that Scott and Jean spot Bunny's limping bloodied frame against the stark white tundra. They had been on a search mission, one ordered by Xavier.

So, Bunny is rescued and they find that they are a Snowshoe Hare Mutant. Their abilities consist of speed, agility, hearing/smell/sight, super strength (below the waist), and increased luck (only works on those surrounding them). They are given the job of groundskeeper/gardener until they are well-enough to become a teacher. Once able, they teach home ec and outdoor survival! This all happens before the first x-men film also!

Blah blah blah then they meet Logan and they live happily ever after (relatively)

“I can see that.” Reid snarked a touch irritably, reaching around the girl to grab a handful of napkins from the dispenser. He highly doubted dabbing at the ketchup all down the front of his shirt with them was actually going to do anything, but he couldn’t exactly go back to class looking like he just left a condiment crime scene. Caleb and the others would never let him live it down if he did, and he didn’t have time to go home and change without being late.

As it stood, he was barely going to have time to order a replacement burger and eat it. “You’re the new girl, right? Le-somebody.”

maybe (definitely) reading into it but oughhhh having thoughts about spencer saying "close enough" when rossi says the odds of something must be "a billion to one". and then later when morgan is on the phone with hotch when they find katie's body and he says "i don't really know which river this is, hotch." while reid is standing right next to him. and come on. reid definitely knows. but he says nothing. because it doesnt matter. because it didnt matter.
