"Oh! He's--he's not mine," Reggie stammers, flushing furiously as Julie's gaze flickers between his face and that of the little black-haired, green-eyed baby in his arms. "I mean, he is, but he's my nephew, and--sorry to just bring him, this isn't how I wanted you to meet him but--"
“Reggie, he's adorable,” Julie coos, as she tickles the baby under his chin, unable to contain her own giggles when he grabs at her finger. “What’s his name?”
“Oh, umm,” Reggie clears his throat, and adjusts his hold, making it easier for the baby in his arms to play with her. “This little guy is Frederick, but we’ve been calling him Freddie.”
“Hi Freddie, are you joining Reggie and I for our study date?” Julie asks, smirking at the way Reggie’s smile turns a little more sheepish.

Dancing with the Stars Season 33 Week 5: I'm Annoyed
Hey y'all. We're back. And I'm a little annoyed about the show last week. I'll start my regular reviews next week. But for now, I'm gonna do some ramblings and spill my thoughts. So here we go.
The Elimination
I was completely fine with Brooks being eliminated. It was the only thing that made sense at this point and I couldn't stomach another moment of Gleb giving her trash choreography and half assing teaching her while going full steam ahead with the showmance for the THIRD SEASON. I couldn't even really tell you what dance they because there was no technique. It could've been a salsa, a cha-cha or a samba. Idk. Brooks could've been much better with any other pro because the potential was there. But here we are. Unfortunately.
Derek and Hayley's Dance
It was really beautiful and it was so nice to see Hayley out there dancing like that again. That's so scary what they went through. I can't imagine Derek's actual feelings in the moment. The brain is no joke.
The Scores/Judging
Mark was a mostly great addition. He was sometimes on some bs though (along with the other judges). So I'm wondering what is going on. Chandler, Joey and Danny should've been tied for the lead with 34 points each. Phaedra should've gotten the same score as Dwight. Jenn should've been given a 30/31 because Sasha sh*t the bed once again.
Thoughts on Individual Couples
So I have a few other lingering thoughts. The first is this weird standard that they are holding Chandler to. The reason I hate contemporary on this show is because it's not valued if it doesn't make you spit up, shake sob, dribble, snot and fart once you're done. That dance was perfectly fine. It was almost perfect minus a lift where Chandler's dress got in Brandon's face and a slight out of sync moment in the side by side choreo. Chandler dances with conviction. She hits her marks, she doesn't just step. She full out dances. None of them feel the same in terms of the feeling. Yeah, this contemporary was lighter, but we weren't dealing with a heavy topic. Her mother is still very much alive and well. She was thanking her. Trying to make it all extra sad would ring as inauthentic and I'm glad that Brandon spoke to that in their interviews. You could tell that they both were confused and that Chandler was shaken by the strange critique.
This Phaedra and Val partnership is not working. Sorry. Homie checked out this season and is not giving Frack (for all you RHOA fans out there) dances that show her in the best light. Is Phaedra the best dancer? No. But she could be so much better if her pro tried. That rumba was the best example of that. Mama pulled a Reggie and that's the one dance I thought she would kill. I'm so disappointed and I wish she had gotten someone else. So far Brandon has done the best with his RHOA star, followed by Tony (surprisingly). Val is sucking this season. I'm just gonna flat out say it.
Sasha had one good week of choreo and went back to bs. That foxtrot was atrocious. I need him in a class or something because the way his choreography skills have regressed in 6 years is WILD.
Joey and Danny, while both good, are being given very kind scores. Joey was skip stepping during that whole dance and Danny needs to loosen up just a bit more (his foxtrot is still my favorite dance of his). The judges are rightfully calling out Stephen for his areas of growth. The same needs to be done for those other two.
I enjoyed Ilona's dance a lot and I think she would benefit with talking to Laila Ali. I feel like that would help her really settle into the dance world in her own unique way. She's almost there, there are just a few more things she's gotta tend to.
Dwight was fine. I want him to dance from his whole body and not just picking a couple different places to focus on.
That's it. Sorry this is late again. Life and I was annoyed with the show last week. But Disney week starts in 5 minutes for the Eastern and Central time zones. So I'll talk to you all very soon.

DWTS S33 EP 3 Commentary
I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who read my word vomit.
That was a long intro. I enjoyed it though. Why is Steven in a wig 💀
I did not know Rosie Perez was a dancer. Slay.
I have high hopes for you Phaedra!! Good choreo. Dress fabulous. Good opening. Footwork definitely not perfect. Good effort and energy. Val looks great as usual. He's suchh as hammm. Julianne's commentary kills me. Good scores.
That's a horrible color on Ilona.
Ilona is so well spoken. Fire song for her. Oh no did her feet lift at the end?! Carrie Ann is that allowed?? (iykyk) Anyways looked pretty good. She did good in frame. I feel like some of her transitions look strange. Like in all her dances. Not major at all though lol. Yay i think she did good, especially based on judges comments. LMAO VAL
This is making me want to go get flare pants.
ONCE AGAIN Derek was so wrong with that 4. Dude im sorry but it is not that serious. (dude is Derek).
Awww his wife helping. Sweet. Britt gorgeous as usual. SWEET. Loved that ending. I thought that was much better too. Carrie Ann is so right!
With that hair Stephen looks like someone but I can't place it. DANIEL MENTION!!!! STOP THATS SWEEETTT (even the other bit LOL) GEEEZZZ derek CHILL. I also love his attitude.
He's literally so cute. I just want to pinch his cheeks. Also that was so good. Rosie gets it. I am always amazed when he does flips as if hes not a gymnast. Bruno and his syncopation. Mood tho. Carrie Ann says it so well. I agree with the all! I LOVE YOU STEPHEN. he got it he just needs to control it
AH I SCREAMED WHEN GLEB POPPED HER TOP
I'm glad shes very interested in learning if that makes sense. that doesnt sound right but i hope yall get it. such good luck witht heir chemistry yall just say ittttttt
Ok. What she did looked good. Storyline goes crazy. I feel like there should've been more content though.....EW DEREK AHAHA. okay so I am not the only one who felt it was just not enough. but thats Glebs fault. Once again, Carrie Ann said it all. Rosie also said it good. BUTTT i lowkey think its Glebs fault. IDK if hes just lost in the sauce but he needs to focus a bit more bc she does have potential!
their faces 💀
He said i know how to do a backflip. and then says the last one i did was in high school. That was so good. Im sure not perfect but SUPER GOOD. Joey is surprising me and I honestly think that he deserves more attention. He got very good musicality and stage presence. OKAY ROSIE. Jenna is also a fab choreography. I think Joey is going to top all of them. 8s across the board. OH GOSH. WOWWOWOWOW they deserved those 9s.
Dwight is very charismatic. I thought that was good enough! I cant take his seriously with that wig and that song is traumatizing for me. oh nooooo. i was wrong 💀 oop- they both knew it though. they knew it could be better. boogie woogie woogie LOL Derek why are you doing this. you are not Len. calm yourself.
Im getting sleepy so these are going to get shorter.
I loved that. I missed Whitney and im so glad she's back. Yes he is getting better each week. He's gonna come up at some point fast and shock yall.
I do love emma and Reggie. they needed each other. I do love Reggie. hes so sweet and cute and he makes me want to cry happy tears. Derek say you have to judge one more time, i dare you. yeah carrie ann is me fr. Hoping for the best woth Reggie cause i love him. At least another week.
I love Jen. She's cute and reminds me of one of my best friends. THAT WAS STUNNING. OBSESSED. Okay so they should take down the infomercial sections of the show to let the judges fricking talk. We'll deserved scores.
YASSS CHANDLER
THAT SWING MOVE WAS COOL. they move so in sync. this sounds weird and creepy but i can't say it any other way but chandler has such nice legs. she did dance her pants off. YAY BRANDON GETS HIS PRAISE FINALLY. obsessed with them both
YES BRUNO SAID IT ANOTHER ZENDAYA YES DIHEISJOAOA ZENDAYA MENTION
YESSSS FUCK YEAH. LOVE THEM OMG
omg Dwight is at the bottom omg.
okay sorry yall it got crazy at the end. I'm also sleepy so it's gremlin hour too hehe. oh no double elimination. anyways SEE YOU ALL TOMORROW MUAH

hello hazel:)
how was your day today?
i read chapter 4 of your fic yesterday and damn..
when i read the “pray that regulus will appear” line i yelped i LOVE when remus and reggie are besties and them lowkey bonding over hating sirius? omg!!
its so sad like them growing apart (in a way) and remus feeling like he has been replaced by someone “better”..
and remus slipping into his accent when hes angry and reggie noticing!!
my jaw was dropped while reading the chapter the whole damn time
cant wait to read more… patiently waiting here!!<33
so to answer your question, my favorite episodes or scenes from the office:
well for one i love all the scenes in which jim and dwight prank each other
"well its really nice to meet you brian" "oh its actually ryan" "oh ryan" … "bitchh" classic
the whole "today smoking is gonna save lives" scene hes soo petty i love it!!
and honestly? any scene in which dwight radiates chaotic energy
also when he got the concussion that was so damn funny
and episodes hmm probably the beach day one (s3 ep22 i think)
oh and my fav characters are dwight, jim and lowkey stanley he's funny
question for today i suppose:
do you have a fic that's your absolutely favorite one, if yes which one? (no matter the fandom:))
p.s. thank you for indulging my “way too long” asks heh <3
-lilz
The real lovestory in “The office” was the enemies2lovers-slowburn between Jim and Dwight tbh..Anyways, you’ve got great taste!:) AND I’m so happy u like epilogue it makes me smile like a tod (love myself sum rem/reg-friends4evah)
I have the horrible habit of reading a fic, loving it, then forgetting about it/not saving it. So I can’t really tell you what my “favorite fic of all time” is.
However, the last work I read that really stuck to me was a wolfstar fic I devoured a couple of months ago⬇️
“the coffee shop au” by third_crow.
Oh, no wait, actually: I was in the middle of CR before it got removed and you know what, that might have been one of my favorite works. Never got to finish it, but oh well.
Life’s a bitch and then you die 🐴
(leave me fic recs everybody!!)
happy 2 hear from you Lilz
dont be a stranger<3
kisses

5 Movies About Addiction You Need to See
Art is a powerful way to deliver a message. Whether it’s an oil painting, a 1960s soul song, a great novel or a film that pulls at your heartstrings, art has a way of reaching the spirit and conscience in a way that mere words and statistics can never match. Over the years there have been some great films that do a fine job of capturing what it’s like to live with addiction. Both from the perspective of the person with a substance use disorder (SUD) and from the people who love them. There is rarely a dull moment when active addiction is in play and sometimes laughter is the best medicine. At other times, we may need to be reminded of the tragic possibilities and feel the weight of what’s at stake. Movies about addiction can do all of that and then some. Lets explore the 5 Movies About Addiction You Need to See.
Here are 5 movies about addiction that you really must see:
Beautiful Boy (2018)
Beautiful Boy was based on the memoirs of Nicolas Sheff and chronicled his years of battling drug addiction. It depicts the personal nightmare of active addiction and the impact it has on the soul, while also doing a great job of showing how it impacts the people who care about us most.. Steve Carell plays David Sheff, Nicolas’ father, who spends years trying to make sense out of what his son is experiencing as an addict and why and desperately trying to save him. It hits close to home for anyone who has been through addiction, but also for the loved ones who have tried desperately to save them. Timothee Chalamet delivers a brilliant performance in it too.
Rocketman (2019)
Rocketman tells the true story of a man named Reggie Dwight and how, against all odds, he became the internationally, multi-generationally famous rock star, Elton John. It’s a wild ride with some spectacularly choreographed musical scenes and poignant emotional moments. It delivers some powerfully resonant lessons about self-realization and self acceptance. Elton John’s battles with drugs and alcohol are a prominent theme throughout the film, as they were in his real life. It’s an emotional rollercoaster at times, but a truly fascinating story. Even if (somehow) you don’t know Elton John or his music well, he is a fascinating character and this movie about alcoholism, addiction, fame and triumph is well worth 2 hours of your time.
Walk the Line (2005)
Another rock and roll biography in film, Walk the Line opens a window into the life of Johnny Cash. Based on two autobiographies written by the eponymous Man in Black, it covers his early life, his 30+ year relationship with singer June Carter, all the way through the peaks and valleys of his wild career and rockstar life. If there was ever a musician who embodied the torment of alcoholism, it’s Johnny Cash. The man was practically the poster child for hard living. There are few things as uniquely American as a Johnny Cash tune. To this day, his distinctive baritone voice is immediately recognizable. This movie about alcoholism and the rise, fall and rebirth of an American icon will give you food for thought and we think maybe a little inspiration too. If you’re not already a Johnny Cash fan, chances are you will be before the film is over.
Drugstore Cowboy (1989)
Based on the autobiography by James Fogle, Drugstore Cowboy isn’t about a celebrity, but ordinary, garden variety addicts. This makes it more accessible in some ways than the celebrity stories perhaps. Drugstore Cowboy is the story of a band of heroin addicts in the 80s who rob pharmacies to fuel their spiraling habits. But the heists are more than a means of staying high for them. They are a part of the ritual of getting high, a part of their culture, almost like a religion that only they share and a pact that keeps them all sick and in almost constant danger. It can be hard to watch in parts, but the truth in it is undeniable and that’s probably part of why. A young Matt Dillon gives a staggering performance as Bob Hughes. There’s some dark humor in it as well that people in recovery (or active addiction) are likely to appreciate.
Ray (2004)
Sticking with our music theme, the 2004 film, Ray, is the story of legendary rhythm and blues artist Ray Charles. Lots of people know Ray Charles’ music and he’s one of the most famous blind musicians of the 20th century, if not all time. The pain, struggle and passion of Ray Charles’ life runs throughout the soulful crooning, strings and percussion of every record he ever recorded. What a lot of people don’t know about Ray Charles though is that early in his career he battled heroin addiction which almost destroyed him.
Help for Addiction in Real Life
We hope you enjoyed our look at films about addiction. We think you’ll find more than mere entertainment from them. They can be inspiring and motivating too. If you believe you or someone you care about may have a substance use disorder, Southeast Addiction wants to help. Even if you’re not certain whether or not treatment for addiction is needed, we can answer your questions and help you decide what to do next. Give us a call at(888) 981-8263 to learn more about what Southeast Addiction can do for you and the people you love.

It‘s just a boring conversation sequence in a movie!
The sequence:
'Bernie… I never told you how much I need you.'
'No, no, I love you man. Always have, always will. You write songs that millions of people love. You just have to remember who you are. And be okay with it.'
'He doesn‘t know who he is.'
'Yes I do. I‘m Elton Hercules John.'
'I thought you were Reggie Dwight.'
'I haven‘t been Reggie Dwight in years.'
'When are you going to hug me?'

Feisty Pretty Porcelain
Me enfureció mucho. Read the full article

Dancing with the Stars Season 33: THE PREMIERE!
So because it's the weekend and several days after the show, I'm going to forego talking about each couple individually and give my thoughts on the show as a whole. So I will say that overall, I enjoyed this much more than last season. This season has way more potential to be fun and interesting than last season did. I'll break down why I feel that way. Last year was a tough transition period for the show, so I think things are getting figured out.
The Hosting
While I still don't think that Julianne and Alfonso are the greatest hosts, they have seemed to find something that works for them. Julianne especially seemed to be way more comfortable on Tuesday than she was at any point last season. I think she was having more fun with it and that's really what you need to do as a cohost. She knows that the celebs and pros are all up there, nervous, concerned, frustrated, disappointed and excited. So she just has to feel things out and either keep the energy up, attempt to lighten the mood and/or uplift disappointed contestants. I think she was better at that.
The Judges
This was a major improvement to me. Now that everyone has had a year to adjust their judging style with Len being gone (specifically Derek), I think this week, I saw some judging that finally made sense and was in line with what I was thinking would be given (mostly). Hopefully the judges do this all season. This is judging that I can get behind.
The Partnerships
Never thought I would have to talk about mismatched partners after the all star season, but then season 32 came around. So I'll say this. I am glad that they figured it out this season. Everyone seems to be matched pretty well (that could change). There are no outliers to me right now.
The Pros
I'm glad I didn't talk about the shifts in casting as that has always been fluid up until right before the GMA reveal. While I'm sad that Koko isn't on this season (anyone know why) and not ecstatic about Sasha and Gleb returning, I am happy that Ezra was promoted and that Witney is back. Everyone seems to be in a decent spot, so hopefully everyone will be firing on all cylinders this season *stares at the men*.
The Dances
I'm not going to talk about everyone, but I will say that as a whole, I was thoroughly impressed with the dances. The pros gave the celebs some decent enough choreography and the celebs performed decently well. Almost everyone showed some sort of potential and I see some real great partnerships forming. I'm worried about Eric and Reggie and what they will realistically be able to do. Brooks, while having a ton of potential, was a non-event and I'm thinking she will be the first one to go. As far as my standouts, Chandler was incredible and is the one to beat. Stephen is right there, we just need him to work on some musicality and finesse with his feet. Dwight can MOVE and is one to look out for. Joey might be a spoiler because he seems really fun, grounded, self-aware and has potential too.
Unfortunately there was one big problem for me. And that was:
The Music Choices
I don't need for us to go back to traditional songs for everything, but I want the music choices to make sense. This wasn't as big of a problem in the past. Idk why it's an issue now. I should not be watching a tango to Hot To Go or A Bar Song. I'm sorry, but the moods of that dance does not go with the feeling of those two songs. Especially as they were. They tried to shift the arrangement of A Bar Song a little bit. And I see some odd song choices for dances this week. Like Ode to Joy for a paso. Seriously?
The final concern:
Anna
So I'm going to keep this short and simple. I have no desire to see her on the show, but we're here. She's decent, but she is not revealing a personality. She's doing nothing to humanize herself and on this show, she has to do that. Ezra is trying, but she's not responding on the show. Now, what I will say is I've heard that she’s being more human in the post show interviews. If she wants to stay, she must bring that to the ballroom. Cuz right now, she's a criminal with a bejeweled ankle monitor on. I feel like she can have a shot, but she's gotta be willing to put forth an effort and not come across as the Ice Queen.
That's it. Tuesday we have our first elimination and it's a double. I'm thinking some combination of Brooks, Anna, Eric and Reggie is eliminated. It all depends on what happens with the scores next week. Let me know you all's thoughts and I will talk to you all soon!

Title: "Happy Birthday Reggie"
INT. DUNDER MIFFLIN SCRANTON - OFFICE - MORNING
The office is bustling with excitement as decorations adorn the workspace. Balloons, streamers, and a "Happy Birthday Reggie" banner hang proudly. Employees, including Jim, Pam, Dwight, Angela, Oscar, and others, are gathered around a cake with candles.
MICHAEL
(to the camera)
Today is a very special day at Dunder Mifflin. It's Reggie's birthday!
The camera pans to show the entire office enthusiastically singing "Happy Birthday."
ALL (singing)
Happy Birthday dear Reggie...
Suddenly, the singing stops, and everyone looks around in confusion.
JIM
(to Pam)
Who's Reggie?
PAM
(scratching her head)
I thought you knew!
DWIGHT
(looking baffled)
Reggie, the guy who's been here since forever!
MICHAEL
(smirking)
Yeah, you guys. Reggie's been here longer than I have. And you know how long that is.
The office staff starts to exchange puzzled glances.
OSCAR
(incredulously)
Wait a minute. How long has Reggie been here, exactly?
ANGELA
(looking perplexed)
And where is he?
INT. DUNDER MIFFLIN SCRANTON - BREAK ROOM - CONTINUOUS
Employees are gathered in the break room, still trying to piece together their memories of Reggie.
KEVIN
(taking a bite of his cake)
Reggie always loved my famous chili.
DWIGHT
(nodding)
Yeah, and he used to sell me beets from his farm.
JIM
(skeptical)
I don't remember any of this.
As they discuss Reggie's supposed history at the office, they realize the details are inconsistent and contradictory. They can't agree on who Reggie is or how long he's been there.
PAM
(confused)
Is this some sort of prank, Michael?
MICHAEL
(defensive)
No! Why would I prank you on Reggie's birthday?
INT. DUNDER MIFFLIN SCRANTON - OFFICE - LATER
The office is divided into two groups, one convinced that Reggie is a long-time employee and the other questioning his existence.
DWIGHT
(pointing at Stanley)
Stanley, tell them about the time Reggie saved you from that rabid raccoon.
STANLEY
(looking befuddled)
I've never even seen a raccoon here.
Jim and Pam exchange knowing glances as they suspect something strange is happening.
INT. DUNDER MIFFLIN SCRANTON - OFFICE - AFTERNOON
Amidst the chaos and confusion, Jim approaches the camera.
JIM
(raising an eyebrow)
I don't know what's going on here, but it's like we've all collectively forgotten who Reggie is, or if he even exists.
Suddenly, Toby walks in, wearing a "Reggie" name tag.
TOBY
(smiling)
Happy Birthday, Reggie!
The camera zooms in on Jim and Pam's skeptical expressions, questioning the nature of reality itself.
JIM
(whispering to Pam)
I think Toby's behind this.
PAM
(nods)
Definitely. Toby's the mastermind.
As the office continues its bizarre celebration for Reggie, someone shouts out, "Somebody stole my spaghett" adding to the surreal atmosphere of the day.
FADE OUT
