Hickory and JD met a few good years before the events of the World Tour when Dory was traveling to find Lonesome Flats, got heatstroke and passed out in the desert. Wakes up to Hickory shadowed in the flickering light of a campfire beneath a canopy of the brightest stars he'd seen since the Neverglades, but it wouldn't be until QUITE a few months later until they really started developing crushes against each other. (Cowboy under the stars, you'd think he'd fall right then and there, right? 🌟)

Why was Hickory already in Lonesome Flats, you might ask? Where was Dickory?

In a glue trap, I say in response. Hickory came from Yodelsberg (is there a canonical name for this?) for international study and to learn about new music. He fell in love with country because yodeling and country music are actually quite gorgeous together. She Taught Me to Yodel, anyone?

Delta Dawn obviously didn't take to Dory showing up and around the town, but after some convincing by Hickory and lots of proving himself (plus a vulture attack that resulted in John Dory saving the very young niece of Delta Dawn- Clampers-) he 'earned' a place there and began to work around town.

It was weird for him.

He'd never quite settled down, until then.

(Now, the specific timeline, yearly I mean is a little muddled because I'm still crafting this, but I'll put them out about three years, now.)

John Dory was still living in Lonesome Flats, and he'd started a relationship with Hickory. They loved each other, as my cohort in crime @protagonist-art (CHECK OUT THEIR ART I LOVE THEM SM MUAH) has Hickory tell John when we get write them, "More than the moon loves the ocean." As surely as the tide pulls in and out, so the lovers return to each other.

So Via, what does Hickory think about BroZone?

After returning to the devastated Troll Tree, John Dory lost a piece of his heart in the damaged pod they used to live in. It was the first time he went grey, and the memories of his brothers started shifting from what was, to what would never be again. They were ecstatic until the night John Dory woke up absolutely ill and with a pit in his stomach.

They lost the egg, and it was the second time John Dory went grey in his life.

A week after this had happened, John Dory left a bundled lock of his hair at Hickory's nightstand and did what he knows how to do all too well. He ran.

Hickory never went too far out of Lonesome Flats in the hopes that John Dory would come back. He couldn't imagine what would happen if his love came back and didn't find him there.

The events of World Tour come about, Hickory meets Branch, and travels for the first time since John Dory left.

John Dory continued to travel, until the events of Band Together.

But don't worry, dear readers, for as surely as the tides come in, so will the lovers meet again. 🌟

1984, is the first time Neil Gaiman released a book. 

In 1985, he got married and started his career as a comic book writer and in 1986, he assaulted Julia Hobsbawm.

This took place in Chalk Farm, London, where he forcibly kissed her and shoved her down on the sofa at her own studio flat before she escaped. According to The Crown Prosecution Service, “sexual assault is where one person intentionally touches another person sexually without their consent. The touching can be done with any part of the body or with an object.” In her own words, she described it as “an aggressive, unwanted pass” and that she still remembers it even now. 

Through 1987 and 2002 he progressed his career and published the famous book Coraline. A new year happens and he is in his early-forties and is thriving off of the success of his several money-making works, at a book signing event in Sarasota, Florida. There he hits it off with a young 18 year old (K) and they start dating. Two years later, in 2005, with two more awards under his belt, he forcibly penetrated that young twenty year old who told him not to because of a painful infection.

After another two years, he and his first wife divorced.

It's 2012, five years later and one year into a new marriage and at another book signing, Neil, age 52, immediately assaulted Claire (pseudonym) with a non-consensual kiss. Throughout keeping contact Neil had escalated this with video and phone calls that had a heavy sexual connotation where he appeared to either be naked or tried to instigate something. All of this accumulated into sexually assaulting her on a tour bus. Neil’s contact with her lasted until 2014 where he had promptly accused her in a text message that she had used him for sex.

Within the same year, Neil had enough money to buy a property, and met Caroline Wallner, 55, and her at-the time current husband. With a deal to do odd jobs for Neil and his wife to live there until she could own a five-acre plot, it wasn’t long before things turned sour. A divorce in 2017 sent everything spiraling, with her former husband fired, she in a once financially stable position, was now completely dependent on Neil Gaiman who used that to his advantage. Using her lack of financial stability to get himself sexual favors, he coerced her into a sexual-only, notably uninformed BDSM-entering territory while she was emotionally vulnerable, not accepting denials. This lasted until the summer of 2021, and in December of that year she and him went to court, what awaited her was $275k of compensation and a non-disclosure agreement (nda).

It wouldn’t take long for another woman to experience Neil Gaiman’s repeated offenses as well because in February of 2022, Scarlett (a pseudonym), age 23, a newly hired nanny, was sexually assaulted in the bathtub at his house. Neil, age 61, climbed into the bathtub with her and coerced her into having sexual relations. He too, in his coercion of her, made her financially dependent on him and brought BDSM elements to an inexperienced young woman who could not say no.

Since July 3rd of this year, 2024, five women have come out with sexual assault allegations aimed at Neil Gaiman. They all have several things in common with each other: either being young and naive, a fan of his, or put in a vulnerable spot financially or emotionally. Throughout the years and according to the stories, Neil progressively gets more bold and aggressive in his attempts for sexual gain. There are many more stories out there and whispers on the internet of how predatory Neil Gaiman has been in the industry. However, focusing on the five women who came out to speak and pushing their voice is an important part of the discussion.

You were in the lasted car video, sat next to Nick in your seated position. Where you’d usually sit in the car anyways. Matt spoke “this time we have a guest too!” He looks at you through the rear view mirror. You smiled and waved “it’s me bitch, the basest in town” you playfully flick your hair “Y/n”. Nick clapped “yesss!!”

Chris asked the first question “Y/n, what’s it like being the only girl in the quadruplets?” You smiled “ohh it’s so much fun, I mean my gender don’t gotta do anything with it. But it’s so much fun! Like I don’t know what I’d do without these idiots, really.” Matt smiled “aw that’s cute, y/n/n.”

Nick looks to the camera and speaks “you see what Matt and I gotta deal with on the daily? You think Chris and I are bad for this shit?? Think again, these two are worse!” Matt nodded and agreed with Nick.

You and Chris were through if hits, the. Nick intervened “alright you pair! Chris get back in your fucking seat!” Chris used his two fingers and did the ‘I’m watching you’ gesture. You did the same back to him. “Kiss it, Topher!” He couldn’t hide the smile on his face when he climbed back into the chair.

Matt spoke “right, back to the video!” Matt held Nick’s phone and asked “so if ya��ll do another tour, will Y/n come on the next one.” You side eyed the camera and playfully tucked your hair behind your ear. “Maybe, JUST! Maybe, you pookies can catch me at the next tour…” they all laughed. “My colour would be red!! And my animal is definitely a red panda… definitely!” Nick said “oh yeah, Y/n has a red panda obsession!” You shrugged “not my fault they’re cutie pituties!”

You rested your head on Nick’s shoulder as Chris asked “hey, besides the questions, I got one that doesn’t relate at all…” Nick spoke “speak your mind.” Chris asked “who drank my half empty Pepsi can earlier today?” You proudly raised your hand and shouted “me!” Chris shouted “WHAT?!” You laughed “karmas a bitch, Topher! Your fault for eating my donuts bitch!” Chris was going to lunge back into the back seats again. But Matt pulled his belt and tugged him back into his seat. You grabbed the Pepsi from the console, opening the lid and taking a few sips. You then looked at the logo colour, it was blue. You spoke “whoops, my bad.” Chris turned to look at you “did you just drink, MY drink?!” You defended “I didn’t know!! I just saw the logo and drank it!” Chris laughed “dude!! Yours is literally by Nick how can you get confused??” You shrugged “my bad…” you put the drink back in the console. Then drinking your own Pepsi.

You finally got back on track of the video’s actual content. You held Nick’s phone and asked “what’s it like living with Y/n?” Nick spoke first “the best, honestly, like she’s an all in one, ya know? Friend, sister, partner in crime, legit, everything you can think of, Y/n can do.” You smiled.

Chris replied “she’s the best sister we could all ever ask for, she legit grounds us, so much. Also the best person to talk to, like on the down, she’s your wing woman, for real.” Matt nods “agreed, like you can go to her for anything and she can help you, also she’s great at adjusting to people social interaction, like she’s a ‘go with the flow’ type of person. Like if you’re quiet, she’ll be quiet. If you’re loud, she’ll match your entry to a tee.” You smiled “awww you cuties, thanks! Love ya guys!” They all say in almost synch “love you too!”

hi aaron. this is my farm. it's kind of in a state of disrepair right now because I'm going for perfection and I'm not bothering to fix anything until I have the golden clock

so first we got the house + garden area ft. my genius wife. the weird scarecrow setup is leftover from when I thought the scarecrows only protected the eight tiles surrounding them instead of protecting an eight-tile radius

then we got the greenhouse, food processing shed, orchard, wild tree area, and slime hutch

here's my greenhouse setup (thinking of switching out the peach trees for something else. probably more bananas)

under the garden area we got the creature zone (with creatures)

south of that is the hardwood forest

and east of that is the regular forest, which I use mostly for mushrooms

then finally we got the food processing hut because I forgot to show it earlier

crack open a beer and sit with him somewhere and hes going to let you talk for as long as you need. hes not the best at comfort but he can be a good listener when he wants to be- when it comes to you. drunken heart to hearts arent all that unheard of between the two of you when its just the two of you sitting together

he tries to cheer you up in passing with flirting- he lets you know how much he likes you... even if sometimes the wording makes him come off as lustful. ragging on whatever or whomever has upset you is another common way for him to show his support

when pickles is upset he tends to drown it out with booze, he tries not to spill it to you but he just gets so heated and hung up over things that youre going to find out sooner or later- sometimes he outright comes to you to vent when hes intoxicated enough... him coming to you drunk and vulnerable becomes less of an occurrence with time, overtime he doesnt need to be drunk out of mind to seek you out. he eventually trusts you enough sober to talk

YEARN

yearns a lot and he shows that through touch- the moment he comes back to you after touring hes going to put his hands on you in some way. in a hug- with his hands on your sides or hips... or tugging your face to him for a nice long and overdue kiss... or just tugging you into his side to walk with you. things like that!

of course thats all assuming hes not going to take you along with him during tours, afterall the band has the means to house you! maybe if he can convince charles and the others that youre not going to mess with anything...

Wow, what a show this turned out to be. It started pretty ordinary, but ultimately had three exceptional bouts, one of which is the best match of 2024 so far. The show opened with CHAOS teammates Yano and YOH taking on Taguchi and Young Lion Shooter, Oleg. This was perfectly fine, but only went 3:45, so there really wasn't much to mention. YOH scored the win over Taguchi with a roll up. Next, UE Young Boy Callum Newman got a chance to shine in his tag match with O-Khan against Bishamon. This was a good little sprint, with the spirited Newman looking especially good. It wasn't to be his night, however, as he was put away by the veterans at 7:37 with Shoto.

The NJPW Babyfaces took on House of Torture next. This was your typical HoT match, beginning with a brawl, before the babyfaces got their shine, only to succumb to heelish shenanigans. After Dick Togo distracted the ref, Narita hit Tiger Mask with the Metal Plated Push Up Bar Of Doom, before SHO pinned him with a Shock Arrow in 8:43. Post match saw SHO steal Despe's IWGP Jr. Belt and proclaim himself the new champion, so we've got yet another HoT stolen belt deal, and Desperado seems destined to feud with these dorks for his entire reign. This was followed by pretty much the same LIJ vs. J5G match we've seen all tour now. It was a good outing, but I can't say that I'm interested in any of this, aside from Tsuji and Uemura's Hair Match in Sapporo at the end of the match. The two youngsters carried the action in this one, which culminated in SANADA tapping out BUSHI at 11:05 with Skull End to go strong into his Title Match with Naito on the 24th.

Perhaps the final ever Okada vs. Tanahashi match followed, twelve years to the day that the Rainmaker Shock happened in this very same building that made Okada a Superstar. This was excellent, emotional stuff that was by no means the best match these two have ever had, but it was a great send-off for what is perhaps the greatest, most consistent feud ever. I've potentially gone a tad high with the rating, but I don't care, I'm sticking with it, as this one had me invested from the minute the entrances happened. The Osaka faithful were super into this, loudly chanting for Okada at the start, going crazy throughout. Tana, who's definitely in "office shape" at the moment, even turned back the clocks and hit the High Fly Body Attack to the floor, which was awesome. After getting the knees up on a HFF attempt, Okada nailed the Tombstone, but Tana turned the Rainmaker into a small package for a great near fall. After some back and forth which the crowd were totally into, Okada hit a beautiful dropkick, a Landslide, and a Rainmaker to put the President away at 16:50 with one final Rainmaker. The pair embraced in the post match, and a teary bowed to the Lion Mark and Okada bid farewell to Osaka. He only has two matches left in his NJPW career in Sapporo, which should be similarly emotional occasions, and hey, who knows, maybe he could even put someone over on his way out (nudge nudge, wink wink).

The IWGP Tag Title bout that followed was something of a dampener, to say the least. This was the opposite of the last match, the crowd were dead for the most part, and it moved at the speed of smell. It was hovering around one star territory, but things picked up once Hikuleo got the hot tag and ran wild, but it was short lived as the ref got bumped, Taiji Ishimori ran in, hit his old pal ELP with a belt, then Hikuleo, which allowed KENTA to steal the win and the titles. Look, I know New Japan likes and rewards loyalty, and Chase Owens was there for them when they needed people badly, but the notion of him holding a major title in NJPW in 2024 is all kinds of bemusing. And to say the new GoD's Tag Title reign was a bit of a disappointment would be an understatement. These guys deserve better, and I honestly don't have the strength to watch another match between these teams after the two we've already seen so far this year.

Thankfully, things turned around in fantastic fashion with an absolutely perfect display of pro-wrestling between ZSJ and Bryan Danielson. This was a rematch of their 5 star classic in AEW last October, and it managed to surpass that match and is the best bout of 2024 so far. Outstanding grappling and counter sequences throughout this, Dragon used an arm wringer to send Sabre's legs into the ropes, which he then proceeded to work over the whole match with intense kicks and leglocks. Zack fought back, working over Danielson's neck. Lots of Romero Specials, Manjigatame's and Cobra Twists, before it broke down into a stiff strike exchange. Danielson hit a big Back Suplex off the top for a near fall, then tried Cattle Mutilation, which Sabre escaped and hit a Zack Driver for a near fall of his own. Dragon hit the stomps, then locked in the crazy arm submission he submitted Okada with, but Zack fought to the ropes. Another strike battle culminated in Danielson hitting the Busaiku Knee out of a backslide, but Sabre turned a second into a European Clutch, they exchanged great cradles, before ZSJ got the pin with a crucifix at 32:46 of fabulous action. The two shook hands afterwards, and now being 1-1, Danielson challenged Zack to a 2 out of 3 falls tiebreaker backstage, which I'm 100% down for. In the ring, ZSJ signalled he wanted a belt, then called out the winner of Naito/SANADA (despite what Chris Charlton might have claimed he said). I'm all for Zack winning the belt to be fair. I've lots to say about Naito being the champion again, which I'll refrain from, but all I will say is that the guy who holds the top belt in this company sure has felt like an after thought since winning.

Then the Dog Pound Cage main event that was also Will Ospreay's New Japan swan song. Look, theres way too much to even attempt to recap, and I went back and forth about going the full 5 stars on this one, as it did feature some stuff I really wasn't keen on. BUT, at the end of the day, these 10 guys put on an absolute spectacle of bloody drama and craziness, and it's definitely not a match I'll forgot any time soon, and a tremendous post match. They had an impossible task in following the previous match, but they had an equally blow-away outing, that was the complete wrestling polar opposite. This was set up like that classic ROH vs. CZW Cage of Death from 2006, in that the cage encircled ringside as opposed to the ring itself, and was fought under War Games rules, with guys coming out every two minutes.

Ospreay and Finaly started, with Ospreay convincing Finlay to let them fight for 5 minutes. Lots and lots of crazy stuff followed, which included the heels bringing out a ton of plunder, Akira hitting an incredible dive off the cage onto the War Dogs before Connors gave him a big spear through an upright table in the corner, Gabe Kidd potatoing HENARE with table shot, that split him open bad on the top of his head, which the doctors at ringside spent a lot of time trying to patch up. HENARE got a receipt of sorts later when he hit Kidd with a super stiff slap that looked like it knocked Gabe silly. Connors hit a big spear on Ospreay through the ropes, off the apron and through a table at ringside, Jeff Cobb ran wild on everyone with his incredible power moves, TJP emerged from under the ring as the Aswang, running wild and misting all the heels, Maloney broke up a pin attempt by Drilla Killa'ing Ospreay into the pile of bodies, Coughlin took a serious wilful beating with kendo sticks, who then took a big senton through a table off HENARE from the top of the cage. Connors introduced thumbtacks, but ended up bumping into the pins. Gedo came out with a barbed wire wrapped table, but O-Khan put an end to his interference, and it was Finlay who went through the barbed wire table, thanks to an Ospreay powerbomb. Gabe Kidd responded by hitting Ospreay with a piledriver off the apron, through a ladder bridge to the floor. Moloney forked Akira in the head, who juiced heavily, but then overcame his fear of the fork, no-sold it, and stabbed Drilla in the head with the cutlery, drawing his blood of his own, then hanged Connors over the top with a dog collar.

The heels then handcuffed Cobb to the cage, removed the ring canvas and padding, exposing the boards, and what followed was absolutely terrifying, as those boards were flying around and guys were falling through the ring left and right, to the point I thought someone might get seriously hurt. HENARE hit a massive vertical suplex on Kidd to the boards, before he too was handcuffed. Akira then took a horrendous Tombstone on the boards, which left Ospreay alone with the War Dogs. Sacrificing himself to save Akira, he tried a Hidden Blade, but collapsed from exhaustion, resulting in him taking a spear into the boards by Connors, then Finlay wrapped his knee in barbed wire and hit Ospreay with his new Overkill finish to end this insanity and win for his team in 64:05 of crazy, mind-blowing action.

The Overkill finish was quite ironic given the amounts of sheer overkill in this thing, there were times when I thought/was begging it would be over, but they just kept going and doing crazier stuff. Anyone who knows me knows I love a good crazy, unhinged blood and gimmicks match, and this was one of the best there's ever been, overkill or not. In the post match, Ospreay bid farewell to New Japan, and he got the big emotional send off with the confetti and all the UE guys surrounding him. Ospreay asked that the fans not forget him, and backstage he promised he'd be back, but when was still a mystery. Losing Ospreay is a major blow to NJPW (not to mention they're also losing Okada!), but I've no doubt he'll do great things in AEW.

He also worked as an orderly in the hospital wing in Hawkins in 1969, and in S2 he lives in Chicago. This reminds me of a poster in Murray's house that refers to a trail in 1969 related to anti-Vietnam War. The Conspiracy Eight (so an eight ref too, hm) or Conspiracy Seven (here)

Interestingly, we only get a good look at the poster when Hopper is there.

Carroll is a reference to Alice in Wonderland. El is associated with rabbits.

Ray being a veteran connects him to Hopper, and one of the guards in Terry's memory looks a lot like Hop. Not saying that that's Hopper. Just that there are many clues that connect Joyce and Hopper to Terry and her story. And if you follow my blog, you know what I mean.

Marauders Fanfiction

Hey! So I feel so down about The Eras Tour in Vienna so I am going to talk about my fanfiction because these are the two only things which bring me joy

So the fanfiction will focus on Regulus, Barty and Evan during their school years and after, it will tell how they became friends, and I will try to dive into their psychology and friendship, so it will be more of their pov, but I will also explain the story of the Marauders of course, just maybe sometimes more of the Slytherin point of view? I don't know yet ^^

I don't know if it will be canon since I will include a lot of headcanons, obviously Wolfstar, Jegulus, Rosekiller... I will also focuse on characters who are a bit forgotten? Frank and Alice 💛❤️ and the past of the House of Black too 💚🖤 and a lot more!! I will also invent new spells, creatures and maybe even some characters which will be fun, and I will make Hufflepuff the best house because well it is (I think you already guessed my house 😀😂)

I also really want to explore the ideology of the purebloods towards muggleborn, so I will try to do interesting things ^^

The title is The House of the Tortured Heirs (yes indeed ref to Taylor ^^) I don't know if you like it? ^^ anyway I think I will change it, it is just for now ^^ I will try to make the vibe fun even if obviously sometimes it will be sad
