imma get into it

#1:

one of my faves is that Richie is like genuinely good at cooking.

Maggie Tozier put him into the kitchen to put his energy somewhere healthy, so he would help her with dinner like all the time. So he's good at it.

But, Richie doesn't do it often because it was like a family affair, and he's alone so he like doesn't really see the purpose of it. Hence, he eats shitty snacks and takeout.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, Eddie does not know how to cook. Like at all.

I imagine his Mom had complete control of his diet, and then Myra did the very same, so Eddie never really got the chance to try anything for himself.

UNTILLLL

When Eddie (inevitably) comes to live with Richie, Richie starts cooking again. Because it's not just him and they can EAT together!!!

Eddie can't believe his fucking eyes, because Richie's actually cooking! And it's good!!!

Anyway, long story short, Eddie learns how to cook from Richie, and they like make food together for dinner and stuff and it's cute and domestic and maybe they confess over boiling pasta idk-

#2:

Eddie, because he was so sheltered, is really fucking curious.

I've talked a few times in fics about this (once coining it Kaspbrak Curiosity), but the main idea is that Eddie so stifled he's like super eager to experience and understand shit.

So like maybe when they were kids, his mom told him that candy was terrible for you. Well, Eddie would ask for a piece of Richie's chocolate bar because he'd never had one before and he was curious.

And when Eddie forgets, he loses that so he just gets comfortable, stays in his own lane.

When everyone gets reunited, though, it comes back. But it's still like a childhood curiosity, the innocent like wonder of the world.

It's like hinged on the whole 'Eddie is brave' thing. Like Eddie is nervous and paranoid because that's how he was raised to be, but at his core, Eddie is brave and curious, and wants to know the bounds of the world. And so, so eager to learn!!!

I can't think of anymore rn, but those are my two faves.

So like picture Eddie wanting to try new shit and dragging Richie with him. The idea of Eddie picking up random hobbies for a few months just so he can know what it's like.

Richie walking into the living room and Eddie having like 5 succulents on the window seal. Eddie trying every cuisine in the nearby vicinity, and figuring out what he loves and hates. Eddie randomly having an obsession with chess and makes Richie play him all the time because he'dnever really learned how to play. Just really random shit that Eddie never really had the opportunity to explore.

In total, Eddie kinda goes on a midlife crisis and does a bunch of shit that he never got to do (typically dragging Richie along in some way).

Can someone please expain this scene? Like, I know Patrick was like 100000x worse in the book but in IT Chapter One, they hadn't even thought about (at least I think so) Richie being say, so, like, what even is this scene? Plus, (from what I can see) the others didn't look at Richie and lick their lips like that (in the scene)

I can't believe ive been so obsessed with a 3.5 second scene.

(I'm probably just dumb and he's just doing that to make Richie uncomfortable or smth but stilll its weird af)

While it was meant in jest, the dark-haired man couldn't stop his mind from drifting to bittersweet thoughts of 'what if...?'.

Bitter, because it was impossible to think that Eddie would ever find the man tolerable — let alone interesting enough to stick around for. And sweet, because despite it all, anything that had to do with Eddie always manages to pull at his heartstrings and make him stumble over his words.

I can imagine it too, Ren thinks, easily imagining the two of them in a quaint house near the city. Close enough for Eddie to visit his twin whenever he'd like, but far enough away from all the fucked up memories that haunted them both. Besides, Ren never needed anything in that hellscape of a place anyways. He already found his home in Eddie.

But the words that left his mouth were something entirely different.

"It's not a bad idea, the Hot Topic thing." He turns away then, though his pinky doesn't stray far from Ed's. "Maybe it'll stop me from borrowing your jackets all the damn time."

Liar. He liked the smell of Eddie too much.

He's on his phone again, doing everything he can to distract himself from the woman currently occupying the right side of his bed. It was hard to ignore the way Diva's manicured nails idly traced over his snake tattoo, but it was even harder to ignore the fact that he felt a million miles away from her in that moment.

And it was all his fault.

What started as a casual hookup soon turned sour. It was only supposed to be a one-off thing; he'd treat her to dinner, bed her, and then leave the next morning — and Diva knew that too. But somehow... Something changed along the way. He started paying attention to her; seeing her in places where he shouldn't. Lipgloss stains on his pillows. Glitter on his shirts. Marks on his chest. Green press-on nails in his car. Eyebags from staying up all night texting her. A void in his heart that only seemed to fill whenever she was around.

Teo was getting attached to Diva and he knew it. He wasn't one to get feelings involved, yet he could do little to ignore the burning sting of envy whenever he'd listen to Diva talk about someone else.

When she slowly started to turn into someone else.

Green nails that were now purple. A custom Luis Vuitton bag that was switched out for a Hello Kitty ita backpack instead. A blurry lockscreen of his shadow now replaced by a carefully made art piece in her likeness. Her most recent texts going from T💚 to KK💜.

With a sigh, Teo finally acknowledges Diva's presence. He doesn't dare look at her, knowing fully well that she'd be sporting those soft, sparkly eyes that he just can't seem to say 'no' to. And so, he throws his phone somewhere on the bedside table and leans in close enough to press a kiss against her jaw — but not before pulling away with cold eyes and an even colder heart.

"It was never permanent in the first place, was it?"

How do you think the losers club would react to the it musical, if they were to see it? Especially Reddie(if richie hasn't told him his feelings) and Mike.

Oh my god I have so much to say about this.

Ben would have a complete blast with it, taking it for the completely unserious thing that it is. Bev would think the jokes about her personal life were darkly hilarious. Bill would be mildly offended about his stutter (i.e. Richie saying it was desire for a personality) but wouldn’t be able to stop himself from laughing anyway.

Richie would be HORRIFIED and in Boys of Summer would be looking around at the losers saying “that is NOT why I like arcades!” and trying not to kill them all for laughing. He’d cover his hands off and on throughout Bad Romance.

At Just Give Me A Reason, Bev would chorus “Awww” and throw her arms around Ben. Richie however would be staring in horror as he watched himself belt “We’ll come clean” followed by “Eddie I’m totally gay for you!”. His head would whip to Eddie so fast that his glasses almost came off as he yelled “NO! NO I’M NOT”

Eddie would also be as red as a tomato and struggling to make eye contact. I also think Eddie would be so embarrassed by the amount of attention he received in the musical, especially as everyone turned to clap him on the shoulder or the knee when Stronger came on.
