Moon tonight 19/11/24 and Bumble bee on chives at Sewerby Gardens, Yorkshire in June, autumn leaves at Lakeside on Friday and the compelling and splendid sight of a group of Lapwings meandering through the air and fern at Testwood Lakes on Saturday.

On a day off today we did something completely different and were lucky enough to get tickets to see a TV game show being filmed in Kent, it was a very enjoyable, feel good and fascinating day. It was great to see yarrow, mayweed, ivy and some viburnum near where it was filmed and get stunning views of Red Kite and Jay on the journey.

29th May 2024-Water dropwort at the Weirs in Winchester, view at Lakeside Country Park, poppy in Winchester and the centre piece of glorious displays of colourful roses I enjoyed in Winchester today at Abbey Gardens.

Mallards wandering around the green in front of Winchester Cathedral, Woodpigeon, Jackdaw, House Sparrow, Goldfinches, Song Thrush heard, my first bindweed, broad-leaved willowherb and yarrow of the year, fox-and-cubs, red valerian and buttercups were other highlights today.
