Chapter 23

Well, sorry y'all. I have been overseas for a bit and then I came home with something I caught from American Airlines. Don't eat plane food. Anyway. We got some new DA4 news and with all the buzz about the gameplay footage to be seen on Tuesday, it reminded me to post!

Solas and Moon'Hwa make haste to escape the Deep Roads, or well, as best they can. Solas is not in the most...stable state. Moon'Hwa struggles to just keep him conscious. The topic of their daughter does bubble up, and if Solas and Moon'Hwa are good at anything, its arguing and debating. Moon'Hwa grapples with who she is as a mother. When they return to the sanctum, our Inquisitor is handed over to fur-lined cloaked men and Solas sends her off with a warning. “They will subdue you if you require it.”

However, it seems that these feral men know her...and her deceased mother. And they are void-bent on revenge.

CW (please read) under the line---This is a Dark Solas fic. In fact, I wrote most characters in this fic as villains, even Moon'Hwa. There are no heroes here.
