after a talk with my brother i've decided that storm's eyes will no longer be blue. so many mutants spend time fitting into xavier's 'perfect mold' of what humans should be like, talk like, look like, achieve, etc. & i think i want storm to denounce that in every way that she can, subconsciously.. of course i want to keep her visage origin the same. born with her beautiful frost white 4B-4C hair, deep complexion, & baby blue eyes (obviously marks of her ancestors) but... when she came into use her power, she developed the white... almost filmy, iris. it only showing up / changing when she decides to change / use the elements. even in her youth, she's always in touch with the earth, always been fine-tuned to her surroundings, so much so that it felt more comfortable allowing her eyes to film over. to show her power on the surface than to supress it. & only continued to because it made others uncomfortable & wasn't considered 'right' in the eyes of those who loathed what / who she was.

so in this headcannon change, as she grew older & grew more defiant with authority & confident in her relationship with her self-worth (& with the earth).. she stopped hiding what she was born to be. wearing it proudly with every single gaze. like she encourages so many of her mutant siblings to do, regardless of politic & societal notions. you should be proud to be who you are. you should show it. i think that's so beautiful.

Hello everyone, I'm the owner of a supernatural being rp/erp server on Discord named "Ciudad de Los Muertos." We've been around about a month now and have a friendly core group, but we would like to expand. The species available are humans, vampires, werewolves/ shifters, witches, demons, and a cult... each with their own lore, each overseen individually by a leader (admin). We use OC characters with real-life face claims. We offer OOC chat as well as IC chat for characters to interact when not in a scene. Welcome to Sanguine, an upcoming dark urban fantasy RPG set in the eerie town of Hollow Creek, where three species coexist in uneasy tension:

🧑‍🤝‍🧛‍♂️ Humans: The resilient, often blissfully ignorant majority of the town, steeped in folklore and rituals to keep the supernatural at bay. Many suspect there’s more to the town than meets the eye—but fear keeps their mouths closed and doors locked.

🧛 Vampires: Immortal predators who walk among humans, blending into the town’s nightlife and feeding off human blood to sustain their supernatural power. Sunlight weakens them, but the darkness grants them strength. The oldest vampires hold onto their traditions, while the younger ones revel in hedonistic pleasures, sometimes skirting the unspoken rules.

🧛‍♀️ Dhampirs: The rare and conflicted offspring of vampires and humans. They age slowly and can go months without blood, but abstaining too long makes them more human, robbing them of their supernatural gifts. Stuck between two worlds, dhampirs face prejudice from vampires and suspicion from humans, making them natural loners with a complex role in Hollow Creek’s supernatural ecosystem.

But beyond these three species, a more sinister presence haunts the town…

👁️ The Other: A shadowy, ancient entity that lurks in Blackthorn Woods, watching, waiting, and hunting those who stray too far into its domain. Sometimes it takes the form of a malnourished, pale humanoid with impossibly long limbs, other times, a faceless shadow that creeps ever closer. The Other cares not for species, only for prey.

I love the idea of Gaz and Soap being the poster children for the SAS

Task Force 141 is a secret, but not so secret that the brass waste the opportunity to plaster Gaz (the current record-holder for highest test scores) and Soap (the youngest candidate to pass selection) across every piece of recruitment material they can

Price tries to put his foot down on most of it, but he can’t stop all of it; happy brass means more leniency when the 141 edges a little too close to war crimes territory

So at least one weekend every year, Gaz and Soap get geared up and run through every training course Credenhill has to offer about forty-seven times each with three or four cameras pointed at them at all times. It’s exhausting and infuriating, especially when the directors aren’t happy with the footage (because, surprise of all fucking surprises, real military training doesn’t look anything like it does in the movies) but they both try to enjoy the chance to show off

And it’s a spectacle. Almost everyone on base comes to watch the two most decorated sergeants in the SAS get put through their paces. Price and Ghost watch with varying levels of concealed price. Rookies line the edge of the courses, their eyes glued to the pride and joy of the SAS, who inspired most of them to join up in the first place

And then, the weekend passes and it’s suddenly all over. The camera crews disappear, the directors shake their hands and thank them for their service, and the base returns to normal until next year. But if Ghost gets the first copy of the promo video, before even some of the higher level brass do, that’s between him and the director, who really didn’t even take that much convincing

The city street behind them is full of easter eggs. A kiosk on the left behind Laszlo is covered in flyers: fundraiser to cover medical bills for Toby, a recruitment poster for the Mosquito Club, an add for reanimations for $350 cash, a Go Flip Yourself ad, a comptroller campaign poster for Sean covered up by one for Colin covered up by one for Evie, a newspaper article about Morrigan Manor, a Wicked poster, a flyer for the familiar mixer, a missing poster for Jenna, a Found poster for Guillermo's bicycle, a handwritten ad that says "Djinn to good home, call Gyermo" with a photo of the djinn lamp, and several stickers including one that says 'werewolves not swearwolves, a Palestinian flag, and the s5 moon promo shot. Sitting atop the kiosk is a frog with curly brown hair - la Guillerana, and above it on the brick wall is a black poster featuring a hooded figure with round glowing eyes that says "The Night Market: if you know, you know." The roof of the building has a clothesline stretched across it where the Cloak of Duplication is hanging. The next building has glass doors and windows across the first floor with soft ambient lighting coming from within. A foldable chalkboard outside says 'closed for privat pardy'. The name of the restaurant is printed above the door: 'love at first bite'. The second floor is a grid of square windows with the blinds drawn, a single ad for Rapula Realty in an upper window. A single anonymous finger parts the blinds on a lower window to peek out. The third floor has three windows and fairy lights draped across the front. A purple flag that says 'human wellness inquire within' hangs from the first window, and the second has one foggy pane with the word 'help' written on it backwards. Black Peter the goat is on the roof, front hooves planted on the ledge to look out at the running vampires in the street. The following building has a grid of windows and a temporary vinyl sign stretched across it that says 'Urgent Care'. More buildings stretch out behind to the horizon.

On the right, there is a small newspaper vending machine with the headlines 'Flying Man Spotted' and 'Strange meteor lands in New Brighton'. The adjacent building has four stories, the only entrance a set of stairs going straight down. Neon pink lights pour from the doorway and lowermost windows. Above the doorway with an arrow pointing down is a neon sign for Nadja's. Below it, a poster exclaiming 'Baby Colin Live!' One of the middle windows has a sign that says 'Nadja and Laszlo Human Music Group performing Thursday nights'. Hanging from the roof precariously by both hands and looking towards the ground in terror is Patton Oswalt. One of the Baron's mutant children is sitting happily on the ledge nearby. A tree is on the roof and has some kind of net hanging from it. The next building is corporate and mostly windows, the bottommost portion open and flanked by yellow poles, a yellow and black divider blocking the entrance. An awning above it says 'Jesk Parking'. Inside, there is what looks to be a pile of rats. Two bats fly past. A vinyl sign stretched over the building front is an ad showing a man hugging a pillow that says "Get the Guy Pillow! Buy 100 get 1 free! Guys only!" The roof turns suddenly to greco-roman architecture, a row of stone columns lining the edge. Sitting at the very top are the two gargoyles having a riveting conversation. The next building is 3 stories and has a trans flag hanging from one corner and a progress flat from the other. The first floor has an alcove with a door flanked by two windows, one featuring shelves with jars of white liquid, the other a palmistry poster that reads 'free palm reading with every ejaculation'. The store name above reads 'Satchel Serafina' More text on the second floor reads 'Home of Memo's Man Milk, gathered lovingly by hand.' Beyond this building is a small grassy area behind a fence with a dead old tree and some graffiti that says 'Simon the Devious' with a crown. There is a nearby sewer drain under the sidewalk where a hand is reaching out. More buildings stretch out behind to the horizon. /end ID
