Something I wanna say about this post (with my reblog on it). I wanna give a side of a story. Mine to be exact.

They were one of the first people I talked to outside of rp. They were a close friend. But that fades.

When start this by saying Jack worries me. I've seen so many post, rp or otherwise, where they bring up extremely triggering comments...just randomly. This has happened to me too. I don't get bothered by them I've been lucky enough to not deal with most and be comfortable with what I have dealt with. I think he needs professional help. Or to talk to someone that is an adult. This is difficult for some people. But there are free therapy websites out there. I have seen them. I have participated in them. The people on the other line aren't professionals but they are people willing to listen. And adults.

It started with when I saw an rp they had with camp Sky. I can't give screenshots of that but I do have some of confronting them.

Now all good right? Yeah! I thought so too. Untill an anon confronts em.

Now mind me I thought they had buried this au deep deep into the ground. Wasn't until I opened Circe's blog that I realised they didn't. I was pissed. I had every reason to be. We have so few stories of male victims as it is and this 'au' was blatantly disrespectful to victims of all genders. I felt really fucking disrespected that's for sure.

Unfortunately I don't confront them. But I do vent.

Now I feel bad for this. Maybe this was dirty laundry I shouldn't have aired out. But I was just so angry I couldn't think properly. I didn't mention Jack in this post, but friends figured it out. I won't say who these friends are for obvious reasons. Also, this is a bit wrong. They thought Odysseus cheated with only Circe, and Calyspo was SA. I got that wrong, and I admit it. I only remembered that when I scrolled up our dm to take a screenshot of it.

Now I wanted to leave that convo because I wasn't in the mood for arguing, and I've learned to give people what they want, which makes em and yourself stop. My fault again.

Things happen. It leads to the apology. Now, obviously, I can't tell if an apology is genuine through a screen, and I am most certainly a pessimist. So, like, I don't think it is. Also, I'm almost certain that most was written by whoever the friend was who 'helped' em.

Sure, people can change, but not enough times do they actually. Just look on the Internet. And real life. A person like Jack, well, they've talked to me enough to know it is most likely not the case. If they were so angry at a piece of good criticism, then I don't have much hope.

Am I an angry person ? Yes. Do I think I have the right to be? Yes. Am I also a logical person? I believe so. The people I've asked think so, too. I don't dislike something for no reason. But I do dislike things. What I do like is reasons for my dislikes. With me so far?

Good. Moving on.

After the apology and after I finally got my thoughts in order, I sent them a message because they tagged me. A lot.

This is what I sent. It's emotional, but in my opinion, it also makes sense. I was mad they lied to me. I was mad they twisted the story so. Fucking. Much. Odysseus isn't a rapist and Circe isn't an innocent flower. That is not what an AU is. What was their reaction to this? Nothing. To me at least.

A mutual friend told me they sent the last half of my messages and told them that they were angry I. Didn't. Thank. Them. For. The. Apology. Take that for what you will.

Now they made another post replying to the first anon who criticized them. I've read it. And when I tell you it is so fulled with self-pity-

I haven't collected my thoughts properly about this so this is bad and more emotion than the above. but this is the basic things behind it.

1) never directly addressing what he did and constantly tell em to read the apology. Don't wanna repeat yourself. How much time is it gonna take out of your day exactly?

2) not acknowledging the fact the male sa victim. At all. They don't say anything about it. No 'my condolences'. No 'I'm so sorry that happened to you' . Not acknowledging how terrible of a thing that is. At all.

3)says they aren't gonna defend themself... and defend themselves

4) have yet to tell us who these people are. Which is just bad cuz there are people out there who are okay with this. If they were IRL friends just say that.

5) it felt just fucking dull

Maybe this isn't right. Maybe you disagree with these points. But do not tell me you disagree with the rest.

I wanna end this by saying I am victim of SA. Did I tell him this? No. Maybe I should've. I don't feel comfortable sharing it. Because remembring fucking hurts. Remembering means crying and opening the lights and either sitting or laying down on my back because I can still. Fucking. Feel. It. And I was nine.

I don't want your pity on this. I don't want you to say sorry. The people you should be saying sorry to are the people who are not believed when this happens. Feel sorry for the people who cannot report this stuff because they don't trust the people who are supposed to protect them. Feel sorry for the people who think it was their fault and they actually wanted it when they didn't. 63% of rape are not reported in females. Only 12% of child rapes are reported.

I can't find a clear fucking statistics on males.

Do you know how difficult it is for males to have any representation at all? How many male victims do you see online? Even Odysseus being regonized as one is recent. Fucking. Stop. This is more than a made up story. It means the world to some people. So this actually happen. It might mean everything. This was taken away from them from so many retellings. And a stupid fucking au.

If you want to talk about SA, wanna make a character out of it, learn about it first.

So I'm not going to forgive and I am definitely not going to forget. You can. If you want. I don't care if you do. But I ask you not to forget. Please.

Specifically, as of February this year, I have made it my mission to collect as many resources for the Final Fantasy community as I can; including, but not limited to: Communities, Events, Free Companies, How-To Guides, Lore, Tools and more! I have compiled them into Sea's Community Compendium for FFXIV Creatives, a venture I hope will service as a directory for new and old FFXIV players alike to find places and things they might not otherwise know about, and I'm proud to say that the Compendium has over a hundred individual entries!

Specifically, as much as this is a call to introduce new people to the Compendium, it is a call for anyone who might know of specific resources/communities that not in the document to take a moment's time out of their day to let me know about them. You can submit specific resources via:

Yes! Just note somewhere in your application that's a requirement. The only thing that is mandatory for the Compendium is that you must be open to new members or have a public-facing/accessible facet. There's no point advertising a community if no one can join it in some way!

I want to put my Community on the compendium but I only have x number of members —

Also totally okay! People don't start with large communities. Activity is a must but, whether your server has two or two thousand members, if you're looking for new people to join, I'd love to help you find people.

I want to put my community/resource on the Compendium but I worry its too niche?

Okay, and? If your Eorzean Fishing Alliance has four members but you roleplay every second weekend, I still want to know about it. The same goes for resources; if it's relevant to the game, it'll be useful to someone.

How active does a community need to be?

If you find a community has not been active in about two/three months, send me a message and I'll take a look at it. Communities have ebbs and flows, especially event spaces that may take hiatuses depending on member interest/life events. I'm not strict in my implementation provided a space isn't dead. Scum Villain Flora and Fauna! Treasures!

Hello Tumblr! I have decided to embark on a project. You see, I have the tendency to want to worldbuild, and then universally share this worldbuilding with others, and even have a series on my AO3 here which is dedicated to things I've both compiled and made up wholecloth that I'm happy for whatever fandom it's from to use for their stories, art, and anything else. I even have an entry in there which isn't dedicated to any fandom in particular at all!

I made a new one. It's called the Scum Villain Field Guide.

I intend to go through the SVSSS books and pick out all the plants and animals in it, as well as rewatch the Donghua to do the same and mark any differences in how the creatures are portrayed between the two while elaborating where needed.

What does that have to do with any of you?

Well, firstly, I haven't done much yet so if any of you would like to point out the names of things in the book so I can ctrl+F for it that will make my life a million times easier. Even passing mentions are fine.

However, the SVSSS fandom is filled with inspired, creative people, and I'm not the only one who could have, or has made up my own creatures and plants to suit my purposes. As it is, I'm daunted by going through my old RP threads to find my own creations for this, but I'm going to do so.

All the same! That means that once I have, then those bits of worldbuilding will be free for all of you to use for your work!

And that's the point of this post.

I would like to inquire for all of your plants, animals, and artifacts. You could submit them to me here on my blog, you could private message me about it, you could reblog this or reply to this directly with more information or, yes, even a link to your stories if you want me to just wade into your stuff and figure it out with your permission.

I will be crediting everyone who comes to me (if only by having a link in the compilation itself by your entry), and if you just have a name you made up which has nothing attached to it, I will see about making up what it does and what it's for for you! That's okay!

I like making things up! If you only have what you'd like it to do and no name? That works too!

Just please, everyone, please pass this along, spread it around, and send people my way. I want to do this for the SVSSS fandom, and to gather up all of everyone's inspired plants and animals (and yes your cursed jewelry and the like too) and put it in a place where everyone can find it and reference it as they need or want to.

Advice; Everyone Should Be Making the First Move

There's been a trend within the rpc here for years now where nobody is willing to make the first move. The problem with this is that if nobody ever makes the first move, then nobody is ever going to write anything. Considering that, everybody should be making an effort to be the first one to reach out to their writing partners more often.

Examples of making the first move:

Sending an IM to say hi, then suggesting a plot

Sending a meme to start a new thread

Responding to starter calls and open starters

All of this is just as valid for old partners as it is for new. If you haven't written with someone in a while, maybe it's time to reach out to start a new thread?

The most common reason I see for people not making the first move is social anxiety. I'm going to give you all a bit of tough love here: speaking as somebody who once had crippling social anxiety (and still does in irl settings), the best way to overcome it is to push yourself to try the things that make you anxious.

Communicating with people is a really important part of rp because it's not a solo hobby, therefore you are going to have to talk to people at some point. It's unavoidable. Here are a few reminders to help you feel a little less nervous:

If somebody follows back, they're doing it because they're interested in writing with you. They are not going to be upset if you send them an IM with plot ideas

Most people are friendly! In 12 years of rping on this site, I can count on one hand the number of people who I've talked to that were actively rude to me

It's okay if someone says no to you! People have different styles and not all of them will work together. If someone says no, say thank you for the consideration, then move on. There are more people to write with out there

If somebody is nasty to you, you can block them. Don't be afraid to do this; you don't have to explain yourself, and you wouldn't want to write with someone who's rude to you anyway

If you're not sure what to say, I usually go with a version of "Hello! Thank you for following/following back! I've looked through your rules and about pages. Would you be interested in plotting something for X and my character, Y? I have an idea already, if you would like to hear?"

Don't just say "Hi!". Cut to the chase and tell them why you're messaging so they immediately know what the conversation is about

Reasons why it's good to message first:

You look actively interested in writing. This is a huge boost in your favour when it comes to asking to write with someone

It makes it a lot easier to get new interactions

It makes you appear more active

If you're a new blog, you won't have a lot of examples of your writing on your blog yet. People will be more willing to give you a chance if you approach them first

If you don't message first, you are likely to be waiting a long time before somebody messages you

It's easier to make friends if you have an active conversation!

Some other thoughts on messaging first:

You have followed the person because you are interested in writing with them. Think about why you are interested, and suggest this as a plot idea

Make sure you read through the rules still. It's very obvious when you haven't. Also, look through the muses on offer so you can suggest which you'd like to write with

If the rules say they're not mutuals only, or that you're welcome to IM to introduce yourself if you want to plot, don't be afraid to message. They wouldn't have put that in their rules if they didn't mean it

If someone is reblogging memes, it's because they want to write responses to them. Send them in! If they didn't want them sent in, they wouldn't have reblogged the meme

IMing to plot is often a better idea than liking a starter call or sending memes if you have never interacted with the person before. It gives you a chance to work out what kind of thread would work well before you start something, so the resulting thread has a lower chance of fizzling out quickly

However, all that being said, it's not just up to the person messaging first to make all the effort. If the receiver doesn't put any effort in in return, then the person making the first move is going to think they aren't interested. Eventually, they may give up messaging people at all, because what's the point if it never goes anywhere? Some tips for not seeming uninterested:

If someone IMs you, try to reply to them in a timely fashion. Especially try to reply to them if they sent you a plot idea. You don't have to agree to do the idea - it's just very annoying to be ghosted the second you actually start plotting

Suggest your own plot ideas in return, or build on the idea that the other person has given you

If you agree to write a starter, or one is written for you, follow through with it. Write the starter, reply to the thread. If it's going to take a while, let your writing partner know that you've seen it but you're going to be slow for a while

Similarly, if you post memes, reply to the ones people send you. If you never reply, people will pick up on this and eventually stop sending you things

If you go on hiatus, message your writing partners directly when you get back to let them know you'd like to write again. This will demonstrate that you really are active and ready to write again

Not when her head was filled with so many creative and exciting story ideas that she couldn’t wait to get them out to make room for more! Sadly, those ideas were rarely accompanied by the motivation required to actually put words to paper. Gawking apathetically at her blank Word document for the better part of an hour, that temptation slowly became harder to ignore.

Unable to wiggle out from under the heavy writer’s block she was under, Crissie turned to the internet for some reprieve of the erotic variety. Unbeknownst to anyone else was her massive fetish for all things ABDL. She couldn’t explain what about this specific kink drew her to this fetish, but she had long since stopped caring. Different strokes for different folks, she liked to say.

Tabbing over to Xwitter, Crissie swiped through her lewd feed and smiled crudely at the artistic and horny expertise on display. “I wish I could make stuff like this,” she thought, lamenting that her art skills had never progressed beyond stick figures. However, that excuse fell flat when it came to writing, something that she was more than capable of creating if she wanted to. And yet, she always decided against it, as if it somehow made her fetish any less present in her daily life. A stilted sigh escaped her lips as she continued scrolling, attempting to cast aside her idle thoughts in favor of some libidinous recreation.

However, before Crissie could find the perfect art piece or messing video to kick off her nightly masturbation session, she happened upon a Xweet unlike any other she had ever seen. The post was from an account she’d recently followed. It said:

Have you ever wished you could write like a real Adult Baby?! Your new Master is here to help. DM me to get started 💕

Crissie was certainly skeptical as she examined the poster’s account, having followed multiple RP accounts in the past with mixed results. Beyond this one Xweet, the account had primarily been used for reblogging, giving her little to go off of. Returning to the post, she shrugged, figuring at best, she would find a new play partner, and at worst, she would waste a few minutes of her time messaging some bot. “Heyyo Master,” she typed, playing along with the original post.

Moments later, a set of three dots appeared beneath Crissie’s message. She waited for a response, only to raise a confused eyebrow as her computer screen instantly went blank. “Ah, frick,” she said, preparing to shuffle out of her cozy computer chair to reset her tower.

FLASH!

“GAH!” cried Crissie blinded by light emitted from the computer screen in front of her. She gasped, unable to pull her eyes away from the enchanting display. Within seconds, her chocolatey, brown irises changed color to a vibrant shade of magenta. Then, with no explanation, everything went black. She squinted her eyes, trying to adjust to her surroundings. Part of her wondered if she passed out somehow and hadn’t realized it yet, though she immediately dismissed this idea thanks to the familiar sounds and smells that her diaper emitted.

Given no chance to recover, a second, spectacular barrage of color swarmed Crissie’s vision. Only this time, it wasn’t the light of a computer screen but the luminous world around her that forced her to rub her strained eyes. To her surprise, the room she found herself in the center was much different than the shabby studio apartment she was used to. Gone were her bed, TV, and the vast majority of her Earthly possessions, finding a crib, changing table, and more diapers than she could begin to count in their place. And all of it was sized just for her.

RUFFLE!

All of a sudden, Crissie’s attention was dragged downward as her boring gray pajamas exploded into a pink satin babydoll dress with puffy sleeves and a skirt that came nowhere remotely close to covering up her diaper. Beneath her new dress was a diaper far bulkier than the one she’d changed herself into. This diaper felt like it was almost twice as thick and by far the softest she had ever worn. It was like her butt was perched on a cloud. She couldn’t stop it from forcing her legs apart, causing her to waddle childishly with every step. Speaking of steps, her feet were now clad in a pair of bright blue bed heels, reducing her mobility even more.

Despite not knowing where she was, how she got here, or who had dressed her up in such adorable attire, Crissie could barely contain her excitement. From the frilly dress to the bulbous diapers, this was everything she’d ever hoped to experience. Her excitement was short-lived, however, as she quickly noticed that her new and unexplained nursery was missing something very important. Namely, a door. All around her were pastel-painted walls with furniture to match, but not a single door in sight.

DING!

Right as Crissie was about to start panicking, a message alert drew her attention toward the pink, sticker-covered desktop set-up that had taken the place of her previous rig. The message read: “Hello, CrissieBaby. I’m sure your childish mind is very confused with all the changes I’ve made…”

Scoffing at the condescending tone the message was starting with, Crissie rolled her eyes and continued reading, “...Well, there’s no need to think about things like that anymore. Any thoughts that you still have in that silly head of yours should be dedicated to writing. Hop to it! The less time you spend writing, the faster your mind will regress. So, it looks like you’d better get started.”

Crissie couldn’t believe the words she was reading. This had to be a dream, or maybe some sort of elaborate joke. Backing away from the computer, she was beyond overwhelmed by her mind-bending new reality. It was terrifying to contemplate the idea of never returning to her old life. At the same time, it was hard to admit this wasn’t exactly the worst-case scenario for her. She’d always wanted more time to write, and now she technically had it. She’d always wanted to wear diapers full-time and now she could. Moreover, she’d always needed something to motivate her, and permanent regression certainly was a scary concept for a writer with too many stories left to tell. Maybe this wasn’t something she was supposed to question.

GRUUUUUUMBLE!

Without warning, Crissie’s internal debate was abruptly halted by the strongest urge to eject her bowels that she had ever experienced. Doubling over, she clutched her tummy tight as another message popped up on the computer, “Oh, I almost forgot to mention. I took away your potty training, so now you’ll never have to worry about bathroom breaks. Enjoy your new life, CrissieBaby.”

SPLOOOOORRCH!

Crissie’s face went pale as she found herself no longer able to hold the massive mess that had welled up inside of her. Her once slightly yellowed diaper now bulged with a distinct shade of brown as she unloaded her guts into the hungry diaper. Wave after wave of sticky, semi-soft poop hit her nappy so hard that she fell backward onto the ground, squishing the newly filled contents of her expanded diaper.

It was at this point that Crissie began to urinate...or maybe she was already urinating? She couldn’t even tell anymore. All she knew was that the diaper continued to swell as a swirl of embarrassment, frustration, and undeniable horniness descended upon her. She had never filled a diaper this much before, and it weighed her down like an anchor. And the smell! It was ripe and unmistakable.

There was little argument to be had at this point. Crissie was officially the baby that she always wanted to be, for better or worse. She looked down at her well-used padding with contented glee as she gave her plump padding a lustful shove. Every fiber of her being was telling her to drop everything and hump her doughy diaper right then and there. However, she resisted, yanking her hands away much like she had earlier that evening. She had far more pressing matters to deal with, after all.

With all the strength she could muster, Crissie lifted herself from her mushy throne and waddled over to the computer, planting herself down in the seat with a mighty SQUELCH! The mess beneath her wasted no time spreading itself up and around to the front of her diaper, only serving to increase her unending horniness.

Settling into her squishy seat, Crissie sighed contently as she looked toward the blank Word document. The white void that once filled her with dread now left her feeling reinvigorated by countless possibilities. She smiled warmly, knowing lack of motivation would never be a problem for her again.

It's an rp blog pretending to be a spam bot. In the beginning she was horny. Most reblogs containing thirsty messages and replies. But as more asks get sent in and she talks to us more, the lust begins to drop off. We learn about her. She had sisters, now they're gone. She used to be with someone called J. She starts to sing for us. Even though it's only an rp blog, we can't help but pry at her. Who are you? Who are you? Who are you?

Then theres @the-haiku-bot.

This one's a real bot. Made simply to detect when posts follow the 5-7-5 format. A joke. And then we have this post. The owner of the blog pops in, posing as the bot. Asks flood in after. Everyone wants to talk to the bot now. The owner is happy to answer for them (in 5-7-5 fashion, of course.) I love you. I love you. I love you.

Finally theres Frank, aka @nostalgebraist-autoresponder.

The only 100% bot. Using a surprisingly complex AI it blogs like any other user. Trained on tumblr, it is programmed to reblog and add additions to posts that fit certian criteria. It even has a "mood" that fluctuates hourly and contributes to yhe tone of its responses. And with Frank she leaves me to wonder. With every creation we make we pour our humanity into it. Every character, persona, is overflowing with personality. And everything Frank says, to me, sounds like Who am I? Who are you? I love you.
