So, guys, since I've been diagnosed w/ schizoaffective disorder what are some of the reasources that can help me together a support system?

I don't really have any fam that can support me.

I'm located in the US.

I'm afraid that my symptoms are getting worse an worse.

Important Study Involving Menstruation

If you all would like to know why period products are not as absorbent as described, it's because the FIRST TESTING USING BLOOD INSTEAD OF WATER was done LAST WEEK - 08/07/2023. Previously, they had been measuring absorbency using liquids like water during testing. The study using blood found that, like we menstruators know, period products are not near as absorbent as their labels say which, as a result, has been drastically impacting how doctors diagnosed heavy bleeding.

Previously, most doctors diagnosed HMB (Heavy menstrual bleeding) if you had to change your pad/tampon roughly every 2 hours. However, because of this new study FINALLY using ACTUAL BLOOD, it's been revealed that that metric of measuring blood loss is incorrect, as the difference between liquid absorption and blood absorption is large (although I haven't found an article saying exactly how large yet - but large enough that the diagnostic criteria now needs to change).

Coincidentally, the study found that Menstrual Cups/Discs had the best results when it came to holding more blood longer and with less leakage.

Once again proof that the medical field for those with vaginas / those who menstrate is severely lacking and behind other medical fields.

Blender Reasources for my Resource Tag

- Poly Haven HDRIs for whatever lighting scenarios you fancy

- Blender Kit great for everything, but especially materials. I use for every render I make nowadays. Example this glowing and skirt material and Mandys shiny arms

- Vyxated Rig essential for complicated and controlled posing beyond the default rig. You can really push your posing with this. Also containes a library of pre made poses like arm movements and facial expressions

- Sketchfab for Models like this shark render and this space render i did both use objects from here.

- How to do a 360 spin cycle animation and How to Export It

- you can export 'all seperate meshes and 1 texture' in sims ripper to make editing of individual meshes a lot easier

Watching Alone really drives home the low success rates of a single human hunter and makes you appreciate the value of food that can't run away.

It's also a really good example of how hunter gatherer subsistence works.

If you leave 10 humans in the environment with limited resources and no contact or rescue party, 9 of them will be dead in 90 days.all of them will be dead in a little over 100 days.

Even with 2 people, starvation tends to set in after a couple months.

And yeah, people from hunter gatherer cultures they'd probably be better at this than a bunch of Americans who do it as a side hustle, but there's only so much one person can do in one day. It's almost never enough.

It's too much for one human to collect enough berries to have vitamin c through the winter. It's too much for one human to hunt and process enough big game regularly to feed themselves. it's too much for one human to build an insulated home and then monitor their heat source to keep that home from catching fire.

It's too much to make and use sharp tools without injuring yourself, and it's too much to try and do all the work hurt if you do. It's too much to go out and find more food when your inability to find safe food made you sick.

On the other hand, if you put 10 people out in the environment together with limited resources and occasional contact with other small groups, you'd have a community that could last indefinitely.

For all that we glorify stories of the lone individual against the environment, it very much isn't how we evolved to survive.

Inspired entirely by @theresattrpgforthat stunning fantastic wonderful collection of google sheets they've made for ttrpgs, I have made a google sheet set up for PC playbooks, places, and kith for Wanderhome by @jdragsky. Since, when you play with no one guide, anyone can 'pick up' and play an NPC or place, it seemed best for playing online to have a way of everyone being able to see all of the collected NPCs + Places so far.

Disclaimer that I am not at all versed in google sheets and did this purely for my own game's purposes, but if it can be handy to someone else, awesome :) This likely exists in other forms elsewhere but I tend to find I need very paired down version for my brain processing capacity, so, this is a pretty simplistic version. My playbook included for an example of how I fill out the base form.

I probably shouldn’t be your only source of information as I’m just a random artist on the internet who gets a bit too pationate about politics and the injustices of the world and everything I reblog is from people on my dash, and sometimes I do come across misinformation that I reblog, only to find out later that it’s not true. I’m not sure what is copiloting on a computer is, but if someone who follows me knows maybe they can leave a link to help figure out how to solve your problem?
