Teehee... many Femmet au (?) thoughts... This idea is like a cool rock I found and keep in my pocket to look at every so often

-Emmett (feminine spelling of Emmet apparently) transitioned after Ingo disappeared and moved on with her life. Ingo also somehow transitioned in Hisui.

-Emmet wears black lipstick + earrings to honor her 'sister,' but nobody outside of her friend circle is aware that she ever had a twin.

-Arceus eventually figures out what happened, panics, and sends Emmet to Hisui to reunite with her brother.

-Because of the transition, time spent apart, and Ingo's memory issues, Neither recognize each other. Despite this, they immediately become buddies anyway, mostly since Ingo is the only one in the village who matches her battling skills and, by extension, can talk with her abt battle strats. :]

-Because Ingo arrived in Hisui when he was ~12, he's only 25 and isn't considered an old man. Still Sneasler's warden but not as much of an outcast in the village as usual.

-He still has Luxa !! Luxa (as a litwick) came with him when he fell because she was still his only pokemon. Ingo maintained his interest in pokemon training/battling and still became one of the only people in Hisui who enjoys battling.

-Emmet's presence kickstart Ingo's memory a bit and he slowly starts to remember bits and pieces; eventually realizes that he also had a sibling named Emmet. Still takes a comically long time for either of them to connect the dots

tianwang and colours

teaser photos of this week's episodes were released and i couldn't stop staring at jiang tian and sheng wang's clothes.

@respectthepetty shared a brilliant post on the drama's colour theory, especially pertaining to the colours jiang tian and sheng wang are wearing or associated with. [thanks so much op for the insightful and beautifully written post ^^]

so, in this photo, jiang tian and sheng wang (maybe) are having a study date outside of school (and they look so domestic and cute and UGH). however, i do notice that jiang tian wears a darker shade of brown while sheng wang wears something lighter.

directly quoting from op's post, "One is light, and the other is dark. One is the sun, and one is the moon. One is warm, and one is cool."

we're so used to seeing jiang tian in dark-coloured clothes (black, grey, blue) while sheng wang always wears something light/bright (orange, white, red, yellow). i think it's such a nice detail to be added in this drama and also jiang tian and sheng wang's characters, considering the progress of their relationship.

i guess, it's showing us how sheng wang has brought light into jiang tian's life, and now he's no longer drenched in only darkness. he still wears darker colours than sheng wang, but it doesn't have that usual gloominess. i think sheng wang balances jiang tian's darkness, and it's just so beautiful to witness this in the upcoming episodes.

and don't get me started on the matching bracelets.....

if my eyesight isn't deceiving me, jiang tian is blue and sheng wang is yellow/brown? again, op uses the motif 'the sun and the moon' to represent jiang tian and sheng wang and i think it's the most accurate representation of their personality.

even though the sun and the moon don't collide, they still belong to the same sky.

i honestly can't wait to see the shift in their relationship. since the walls between them are no longer high, will they finally be united? will there be more than just this feeling of wanting to be closer? what will happen in episode 7 that leads to them wearing these matching bracelets?

so many questions are left unanswered. we just have to wait and see.

omg so I haven’t actually thought much about this. I’m currently very stumped on some aspects of this fic but I do think it would be really juicy if the marclings unionized around him as a baby alpha protective shield! I will say, in this universe I think only alphas can create pack bonds (hence the entire academy’s matching wrist scars) so I don’t think vale would like actually feel them. however, I’ve now become obsessed w the idea of david, diogo, and maximo quietly deciding amongst themselves that it’s their mission to protect marc from the italians and like banding together to follow him around everywhere when they’re in the paddock! I think it would be extremely funny if vale was like trying to go threaten marc about not hurting pecco or whatever and he can’t get to marc bc he keeps getting intercepted by baby alphas either pretending to be starstruck and asking him a billion questions to stall him (diogo) or just outright hostile like arms crossed eyebrows raised (marc’s expressions slowly rubbing off on them) asking him what business he has at marc’s motorhome (maximo). david just straight up herds marc away every time vale gets remotely close to them, wrapping an arm around marc’s shoulders and “subtly” dragging his wrist scent glands all over him and then smugly looking back at vale to gloat……..

vale comically upset with a bunch of teenagers stomping back to the vr46 garage wondering when his mate marc adopted a bunch of kids without him, what the fuck—wait whaaaat?
