Just rewatched sfth's Thirsty Vamps sketch and *major spoilers below*

Shout out to Sam for the way he played Anna slowly releasing herself from her restraints whilst she was seducing talking to Esmeralda- he did it so subtly through the scene and then had a hold of a stake! Honestly all of sfth are brilliant at stagecraft 😁

The Vampire Slayer wasn't exactly new at her craft; she'd learned exactly how to spot a vampire, how to play the role of a naive teenager, how to gain their trust so she could practically feel their jugulars pulsing between her blunt canines -- the adrenaline let her feel her own pulse, where her thumb pressed into the wooden stake she bore by her side.

The stake made easy work parting Esmerelda's flesh, and her final guttural scream hung in the air for a second, echoing through the chamber's of the castle, before Esmerelda's body slumped forwards.

The Vampire Slayer stood, cut the ropes holding her feet, and took a moment to catch her breath, her hands on her knees. She then stood up and pushed her hair back, smugly grinning at Esmerelda. Maybe if she'd decided to be a software engineer or English teacher or improv comedian instead of an assassin, Esmerelda and her would've gotten along. After all, she had meant everything she said -- Esmerelda was stunning, even if she was a vampire.

Well, no time for conflicted feelings. It was time to go collect a paycheck, then back home to the apartment, and then back home for dinner, to feed the cat, maybe watch a new movie, and rest before the next job would start.

That is, it would be time if a thin, cold hand didn't wrap itself tightly around her shoulder, the long perfectly painted nails digging into her skin.

"Oh vampire slayer, you didn't think we were done yet, did you?"

The Vampire Slayer felt her lungs fail for a second. "Um. This is just what women do?"

Esmerelda laughed, loudly and heartily. "If you wanted to kill me, you could've just asked. How about this; let's have some drinks, have some fun together, and then if you really still want to kill me, you're totally free to." Esmerelda pulled a dark green pendant out her shirt and placed it in the Vampire Slayer's hand, the golden chain stretching between the two of them. "Here, take the protective charm off, I'll let you kill me truly this time."

The Vampire Slayer contemplated her options. She had a second chance here, but who knew how many more tricks Esmerelda had up her sleeve. On the other hand, how many opportunities had she had since starting this job to just relax and have fun? Plus, her roommate would feed the cat if this took too long.

She sighed, before yanking the chain off.

Been thinking about how disgusting it feels to drink warm blood during summer.
